Hearth got his hair trimmed, so it's super short again and he's so handsome! It's nice to have him spend time with me and just go on the errand run. I plan on catching up with him a bit as we do. I love him dearly 🥰

after much consideration and TOTK brainrot i've come to terms with the fact that foxglove here is the main character, and he's basically the fuschiaverse version of link.
except him being trans is actually canon

“Not Metropolis?”
“If I’m going to be dealing with superheroes, I don’t want to also deal with aliens.”
She was still keeping decent pace with him- perks of not actually being a person he guessed- but Gotham was getting on his nerves. Probably on purpose, the city didn’t want him here and She apparently was willing to annoy him to a second death over it.
“And New York?”
“Shit’s fucked.” Danny offered. “I don’t even want to know what’s going on there.”
“Gods. Above the Empire State Building.” She said, and he tripped on cracked sidewalk, barely slowing his run.
“See? You’re my best bet. I’m late for class and your school’s the opposite direction.”
“I don’t go to school.”
“Tell that to your ‘Gotham Academy for the wealthy or whatever the name is’ uniform and your schoolgirl ponytail.”
“I’m a representation of the people.” She shot him a look, eyes again glowing as the spirit tapped into the the energy around her. “Amity Park, go home.”
“Lady Gotham, respectfully. Nah.”

Hearth asked for a bibliomancy, so that's what is here under the cut.
He chose "Rumi" because he thought that it would be fitting. He had no particular question even if I had asked. He just shrugged and asked if there was something that the book wanted to tell him. I went through my method and let the book "talk" to see what was the message for him. Instead of an outside strand, I did notice an inverted one (from within the book) as it was "choosing" what to say.
You fix and bring me food.
You forget the way I've been.
The ocean moves and surges in the heat
of the middle of the day,
in the heat of this thought I'm having.
Why aren't all human resistances burning up with this thought?
It's a drum and arms waving.
It's a bonfire at midnight on the top edge of a hill,
this meeting again with you.
"Bonfire at Midnight" p. 95, Rumi
It reminds me of a homecoming to something or someone you haven't seen in a while. To which I know that is true of us, because with how things have been it has been a good bit since we have.
Hearth: I feel that is a proper summation of it. I wouldn't say that it isn't. Although, I will say that I have been thinking about the past and the times we would stay at the cliff-side ocean home. Just reminiscing on when I was feeling low and we spent time together. Caring for me as I have cared for you. Seeing you do a reading that reflects my state well reassures me throughout the tough time we've been having. I'm proud of you, pumpkin.
I'm glad it was something you resonated with! I know that I've gone through some changes (internally) and it's been less than fun. I'll keep at it with some of the practice that I've been asked to do.
Hearth [smiles]: It does. You have, though that is something I am keeping a lid on as this is public. You've done well.
I know [that it's public]! I just.. I know I've changed and this validates it for me.

(The last one had like 3 movies that were not Dreamworks so I'm making one that's only Dreamworks, I picked the most iconic)
Don't forget to reblog to make a larger sample size!

There's an episode of Are You Afraid Of The Dark called the Tale Of The Water Demons and I think it makes a great DP x DC prompt.
Imagine some high powered muckety-muck calling the JL for help because every time they fall asleep, monsters start attacking their house. The JL investigate and quickly realize the monsters are dead people/zombies/ghosts.
Now it's an issue for the JLD. They can't figure out why the ghosts are attacking this guy, so Constantine decides to summon some help. (He summons Danny, but for a change of flavor, it could be Dani instead)
They tell Danny what's going on and he's like "Yeah, no shit."
"What do you mean no shit? Why are they attacking?"
"Because that asshole robbed their graves? If they put back all of the the things they stole, then the spirits will stop."
"Look. You're people can't attack the living just because someone dug up an artifact or antique!"
"Dude. Most of the spirits that are attacking? Are less than a decade buried. That person is a literal grave robber, not some archeologist."
