Hey do you have any thoughts on star from wish?

PERFECT BEING. BABY BLORBO. I aspire to be this little guy at all times.

Everyone wishing this glowing little toddler was some sparkly white boy with yellow hair Jack Frost rip-off is just boring. Star being Asha's baby brother-figure is the best.

Also I love how he just becomes obsessed with yarn. "Soft thing that's easy to spin and fidget with!!!! Mine now, must stim!" Autistic/ADHD icon honestly. (and all the little promos of him with the yarn imitating other Disney characters! Part 1 and Part 2 here.)

Also he's immediately ready to try and fight Magnifico at pretty much any moment.

His design is inspired by adorable cherubs that appeared in a cut ending to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs! Asha's parallels to the very first Disney Princess continue right up to her co-stars.

In short 10/10, perfect, no notes. I wish he came in giant plush form so I could hug him but alas, all I've found are tiny plushies.

No hate but people obsessively fangirling over a single Asha and Star boy concept art are legit so funny it’s like they just discovered het ships? Also it occurs to me that everyone hates Asha bcz she is “adorkable” but if she kisses white boy/twink/jack frost clone/tumblr sexyman (all actual names people have been calling him) then it’s fine? How is that?

People are completely biased with asha and starboy and i say this with all hate, it's wrong for asha to be "adorkable" and have similarities to Rapunzel and Isabela Madrigal BUT it's TOTALLY cool for starboy to be adorkable and have similarities to jack frost, Things Asha gets drag through the mud, thrown under the bus, and put in a guillotine for are things that Starboy gets celebrated, praised and worship for, but why? Because people wanted a love interest so bad that when people saw out of context concept art of a boy and a girl standing close to each other they immediately thought "THEIR IN LOVE!!😍🤪" and when people heard the demo ver of 'At All Cost' it was really set in stone for them now even though Julia Michaels wrote 'At All Cost' to only sound like a love song BECAUSE there was never one planned for wish in the place! And all of this coming from a girl who DID want asha to have a love interest like i really did and at some point when starboy x asha started surfacing i did like the ship and thought it was very cute but then people started useing starboy to hate on wish, i just dropped out all to together, but also when i first saw the starboy concept art i didn't think "Asha's boyfriend" at all actually probably because the description of starboy said absolutely nothing about romance but hey thats just me being smart and using my brain🤷🏽‍♀️

Early visual development for Wish (2023) by Griselda Sastrawinata-Lemay and Brittney Lee.

An earlier version of the film saw Star take on a human form as a magical, glowing character inspired by Peter Pan. Ultimately, the creative team reconceptualized Star as an ethereal, playful entity resembling Mickey Mouse. "Now Star and Asha have an emotional journey. They are soulmates." -Allison Moore.
