Summary: Sirius gets given a wrong number, Remus definitely isn't being sarcastic, and they should probably agree to stay strangers… Comment: In case anyone has been living under a rock (like me up until about a month ago), I can highly recommend reading this fic! The texing in the beginning gave me wonderful ca. 2015-wolfstar-era text talk/aesthetic: trash boys throwback-feels (because I will always be nostalgic for that wolfstar-era), and then the non-texting storyline starts and it's just so, so beautiful and I love it so much!

Sirius texts a wrong number just to find an incredibly sarcastic Remus Lupin on the other side, and everything is beautiful and so well done, and I especially loved the way the whole storyline with Sirius' family and Regulus and their mother was done, and all the honest discussions about everyone's feelings are just *chefs kiss*. Definitely a favorite of mine and probably already a fandom classic anyways.

Remus was madly in love. It consumed every piece of him, body and soul. Perhaps Sirius was right. "That's beautiful." Remus said. Sirius looked at him. "You're beautiful." Remus dropped his cigarette and crossed the space between them.

Kissing Sirius was beautiful. Being kissed by Sirius was beautiful. It was all Remus could think - I would tear Troy down for this. I would crush armies for this. I would die for this. He pitied Achilles. He pitied the world for the day that Sirius would leave him and the world would have to bear the consequences. He pitied the armies in his wake.
