it's insane to me how so many people are treating the GENOCIDE in palestine. this is not a trend. this is not something you post about once, reblog a few times, and then forget about. more than 14,000 civilians have died in the past month alone after 75 entire years of ethnic cleansing. you say hamas brought it upon them— what about the children? what about the pregnant mothers? what about the fact that hamas didn't exist for a majority of this genocide? you cannot turn a blind eye to what's happening. you cannot claim you are an "activist" or "pro human rights" if you let what's happening in gaza be treated as another trend. do your research. speak out. donate. demand a ceasefire. it may seem small to just reshare posts with critical information, but the more media coverage the genocide gets, the closer we are to doing something about what's happening. do not be silent in the face of a genocide.

"More than 80 U.S. Muslim, Palestinian, and allied groups on Wednesday implored President Joe Biden to pursue a "concrete change in policy" that includes the suspension of arms transfers to Israel as it wages a genocidal war on Gaza. ""The National Security Memorandum on Safeguards and Accountability With Respect to Transferred Defense Articles and Defense Services prohibits our government from transferring arms to nations that violate international law or obstruct U.S. humanitarian aid," the groups wrote in a letter to the U.S. president. "Furthermore, the Leahy Law forbids our government from providing military assistance to military units in foreign nations involved in human rights abuses." "Despite overwhelming evidence that the far-right Netanyahu government has spent months engaging in such abuses by blocking access to humanitarian aid and indiscriminately bombing civilians across Gaza, your administration has claimed that Israel is complying with U.S. laws," the letter states, referring to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The groups called the Biden administration's claim of Israeli legal compliance "simply put, false.""
This is the Holocaust of our age, and our government is complicit.

it's pretty clear who the oppressors are and who is the oppressed if you stop listening to propaganda and actually look at the facts.

To my fellow US protestors who fights against apartheid and genocide. Here's his account.
Extra tips from other rebloggers down below, I add it here so its easier for others to see. If anyone reblogged with more tips, I'll add yours as well. May this be helpful:
@lercymoth:
"Be advised, police have the tools to detect who's phones are at a protest. If you can, bring a recording device other than your phone."
@stuntwocket:
"Phones can be encrypted to prevent state actors from accessing footage, cameras cannot. There’s no correct answer, but both pieces of information are important when deciding what you’re going to bring."
@lotsa-cats-in-a-trenchcoat:
"Also a good idea to look into faraday bags. They make your phone undetectable. Better keep your phone on you just in one of those in case you need to contact someone urgently."
@silvergryphonart:
"This is your excuse to buy a recording spy pen. You know you want to. They’re not even expensive. They’re not even rare." (The user shared this info for the greater good, don't you dare using it for nasty stuff)
@doug-dimmadumb:
-Airplane mode or bring a burner phone. Keep lots of encryption apps and VPNs on your phone if you can, and make sure you know how your connection works well. Signal is necessary. Travel in groups.
-Follow the tactics of the Hong Kong protesters. These cops, overconfident from their massive budgets, are likely more susceptible. But do be careful not to put yourself or others in danger.
-Use whatever resources you can to protect yourself. Remember you are not alone. Remember there may be agitators.
-Zionists are evil and vile, but they just want a reaction from you. Try not to engage with them. They're just spewing shit. You're stronger, better than them. Let them spew their crap and focus on the challenges at hand.
-Dont. Give. Up.

Holocaust Survivors on Palestine
"Jewish survivors and descendants of survivors and victims of Nazi genocide unequivocally condemn the massacre of Palestinians in Gaza
"As Jewish survivors and descendants of survivors and victims of the Nazi genocide we unequivocally condemn the massacre of Palestinians in Gaza and the ongoing occupation and colonization of historic Palestine. We further condemn the United States for providing Israel with the funding to carry out the attack, and Western states more generally for using their diplomatic muscle to protect Israel from condemnation. Genocide begins with the silence of the world.
"We are alarmed by the extreme, racist dehumanization of Palestinians in Israeli society, which has reached a fever-pitch. In Israel, politicians and pundits in The Times of Israel and The Jerusalem Post have called openly for genocide of Palestinians and right-wing Israelis are adopting Neo-Nazi insignia.
"Furthermore, we are disgusted and outraged by Elie Wiesel’s abuse of our history in these pages to justify the unjustifiable: Israel’s wholesale effort to destroy Gaza and the murder of more than 2,000 Palestinians, including many hundreds of children. Nothing can justify bombing UN shelters, homes, hospitals and universities. Nothing can justify depriving people of electricity and water.
"We must raise our collective voices and use our collective power to bring about an end to all forms of racism, including the ongoing genocide of Palestinian people. We call for an immediate end to the siege against and blockade of Gaza. We call for the full economic, cultural and academic boycott of Israel. “Never again” must mean NEVER AGAIN FOR ANYONE!"

🚨EMERGENCY! PLEASE READ!🚨
Moataz @moatazart, Mariam, and baby Maria are set to make the dangerous journey from Gaza City in the north to Rafah in the south. From there, God willing, they will enter Egypt.
HOWEVER, the money they had allocated to procure shelter and food while in Egypt was utterly depleted by exploitative fees and hidden costs, which we break down in this post. Moataz speaks more on the situation in this post and on his own blog @moatazart, which we ask people to follow and boost. They have a fund going to raise the remaining money, but the fund only has a week and a half left before it closes! They are not even halfway to their goal!
Please share what you can with Moataz’s family so they can find safety and security in Egypt! They have no one in Egypt with whom they can stay and currently nowhere near enough money to secure shelter! After all they have survived, please don’t let this young family be left vulnerable! If they cannot procure food and shelter, they will be extremely vulnerable not only to the dangers of homelessness, but to groups and individuals who prey on refugees!
Safety for Gazan refugees does not end with leaving Gaza! If this campaign is not finished in LESS THAN 2 WEEKS, they will be homeless in Egypt! They are so close to a fresh start, please don’t let all the risks they are taking to find safety be for nothing!

Urgent Plea: Help My Family Escape the Perils of Rafah
As they make the decision to enter Rafah today, the danger continues to loom over my family. Every moment is uncertain, every step fraught with peril.
The decision to enter Rafah, despite the risks, is not one taken lightly. My family's safety hangs in the balance, teetering on the edge of uncertainty with each passing minute.
The relentless cycle of violence and turmoil that grips Rafah has left my loved ones vulnerable and exposed. The threat of harm lurks around every corner, casting a shadow of fear and anxiety over their lives.
With each passing day, the situation grows more dire. The need to escape this hellish existence becomes ever more urgent. My family's future hangs in the balance, their fate uncertain as they navigate the treacherous terrain of Rafah.
I implore you, from the depths of my heart, to help my family escape this nightmare. Your support could mean the difference between life and death for them. Together, let us rally behind them and provide the assistance they need to find refuge in a safer, more secure location.
Please, help my family find sanctuary away from the horrors of Rafah. Your generosity and compassion can make a world of difference in their lives. Time is of the essence, and every moment counts.

Lost everything today.
Home, belongings, memories. It's true what they say, home is where the heart is. Feeling lost and alone in this shattered homeland.
Help me start anew. My husband, my daughter Tala, and I are now outside Gaza, starting from scratch.
