AHHHH OH MY GOODNESS I LOVE THIS QUESTION OK UMM

Stan and Richie 100% created their own language when they were 8 and 9 respectively and have continued using it forever. (It’s mostly used to talk shit about the other losers (Bill))

Stan gets really choked up when under pressure/when all attention’s on him (mostly because of his dad), but Richie is always able to see the signs that Stan’s panicking and derails the entire subject (it’s what he does best). They don’t talk about how that’s why Richie did that but Stan’s always grateful

Richie’s usually the only one that picks up on Stan’s overly complicated jokes (he ended up laughing too hard at a joke Stanley said about Bowers being Pavlov given the way he gets his dogs to drool, the losers thought he was mocking Stan)

Stan carries around a cloth to clean Richie’s glasses, them being dirty doesn’t bother Richie but it drives Stan up the wall

They both did little league together, Stan was really good, meanwhile Richie was in outfield picking daises. Stan ended up making the middle school baseball team. After the whole It debacle he told Richie if he had swung at a ball half as well as he swung at that clown he might’ve actually made it onto the team with him

Richie bought Stan his first puzzle as a joke when they were kids, calling it the lame joke present before giving Stan his real gift. Stan absolutely loved it though, it started his love for puzzles and he ended up glueing and framing it

They do a daily lunch swap because Stan loves Wentworth’s egg salad sandwiches and Richie can’t get enough of Andrea’s famous pasta salad

They’ve always 100% without question not skipping a beat said the other was their best friend when asked. Yes, all the losers are all best friends but Stan and Richie have always been the closest and everyone knew it.

i’m not really a multishipper when it comes to the losers club! i’m pretty ride or die reddie so i don’t really ship or imagine richie and eddie with anyone other than each other. i’m chill with multiships tho!! i’ve definitely seen some cute hcs and stuff for other richie and eddie ships, like stozier for instance, but i just don’t personally ship them! as for bevchie, i don’t ship them at all bc i personally hc richie and beverly as having more of a brother-sister type relationship, but again that’s just MY personal hc

i think crossover ships are fun & cool!! again i don’t really have any, but i think in general they’re be a fun way to connect and combine different media that you enjoy!!

you asked, and you shall receive…. a couple years later because i completely forgot that this was sitting in here everyone i’m sooooo sorry

now, it was no secret to literally anyone how annoying richie tozier and eddie kapsbrak could possibly be, much less the losers club

and it was even LESS of a secret how annoyed stanley uris would be by the two’s constant bickering 

the losers didn’t know what stan knew though

and BOY did that make things so much more entertaining 

ask anyone in derry, maine and they would tell you that richie and eddie argued like they were an old, married couple 

however, stan was the only human being to actually KNOW what’s hidden beneath the bickering 

the losers club all guessed it was some sort of love but it was never confirmed to them 

but stanley could SENSE it with his gaydar  eyes

it all became crystal clear a few months before ben showed the losers his club house for them. 

after a rather unfortunate game of truth or dare, stan our local gay whisperer, ended up putting two and two together 

“holy shit, they actually like each other!”

and after tracking the two down separately and having a long talk, they both admitted their crushes on each other

now that THAT was out of the way, stan’s work was done…at least that’s what he thought

How Stan and Richie First Met

-The two always knew each other, because of their moms. They didn’t get close till kindergarten.

-Everyone was sure they would hate each other. They were very suprised when they didn’t try murdering each other.

-Stan was most often found reading his books at his table, because he hated sitting in the beanbag chairs.

-Richie ran everywhere there was no stopping him.

-Except Stan could tame Richie. He would promise Richie half of his cupcake during lunch; if he didn’t get out in time out again.

-Nobody invited Richie or Stan to ever play. Richie would take over the whole game and Stan would complain about it not being realistic.

-But Richie would bring puppets over to Stan’s table and they would play.

-Richie would always give Stan the bird puppet.

-Stan cried a lot.

-Richie hated it because when Stan cried he kinda wants to cry.

-During 1st grade they meet Eddie and Bill.

-Stan got sick for more than half the school year, so he gets held back.

Like, everyone out side of the losers thinks they hate each other and they’re lowkey oblivious but hella protective?????

Like, Stan will be bichin to someone about how annoying Richie is and how glad he would be if he just fuckin died but then the other persons like, yeah he’s annoying, and stanny loses his shit (“-and he can’t ever shut his goddamn mouth!” “Yeah i think he’s a bit obnoxious” “exCUSE ME WHAT THE FUC-”)

As much as my boys want to throttle each other in public (“Richie if you so much as look at me I’ll shove my foot so far up your ass” “kinky”)

They just can’t help but be the softest purest boyfriends when they’re alone or just hanging with the losers

Like they’ll be chillin in bills basment and richie will be sittin on the floor with stans head in his lap, just racking his hands through stans curls

Or a group gathering at bev’s aunts place when she leaves for the weekend and Stan will have Richie sprawled out across his lap like a lanky blanket

Or movie night at mikes and the two of them are cuddling in the loveseat

Or study session that don’t always end up with makeing out but sometimes just them being all demestic and cute

Even though everyone lowkey thought they would have a toxic relationship they actually turn out to be really good for each other

Like Richie is real understanding and characteristically patient with Stan when he has to turn the lights on and off a certain amount of times until they leave his house or when he has to wash his hands in a specific order before leaving the bathroom

He’s also unexpectedly really good at dealing with stans panic attacks and helping him regulate his breathing or helping him when he gets stuck in loops because he “just can’t open the door the right way godDAMNIT”

Stans also good for Richie as much as Richie is for him

When Richie loses focus in class or just hangin about stans there to hold his hand and let him tap a rhythm into his hand or thigh instead on the table because that usually ends in detention

He’s always around to remind Richie to take his adderall or to do whatever it is he forgot wether that’s chores or studying or picking up bill from baseball practice because it’s raining and he promised (“you’re never p-picking m-m-me up ag-again, T-Tozier”)

Now my boys don’t have the absolute best 5 star quality home lives but luckily they have each other to count on 24/7

Like when Stans father is putting to much pressure on him to keep up his grades and still keep up his studies for temple nd still attend family dinners and he just cracks he knows all he has to do is call Richie even if it’s 3am (coz god only knows this boys sleep schedule is fucked) and he’ll be over in less that 10 minutes, climbing through stans window and cuddling his boy

Just like how Richie knows that if his parents decide to acknowledge him in their drunken states for the ‘wrong reasons’ he can show up at stans house and be welcomed by him n can have some of the secret stash of snacks Stan keeps hidden from his father under his bed

They’re just so stupidly and unbelievably whipped but it’s okay because they seem to be the only people that can handle each other :)

one time my beloved mutual @stoziers told me about their hc that eddie was the last to lose his first kiss among losers because he couldn't find someone clean enough for him to kiss. he had plenty of opportunities but he had turned them down because they weren't up to his standards. so one day he asked stanley to be his first kiss (they were a little tipsy, bev's aunt was out of state so bev had invited them over to drink and play games, stan wanted to get some fresh air on bev's balcony and eddie tagged along) because stanley was the cleanest person he had ever known, and he knew he wouldn't regret having stan as his first kiss. because stan was clean, he was pure, he was safe.

and they kissed. it was gentle, soft, warm and everything eddie expected and even more.

-richie has aLWAYS been protective of stan, ever since they were kids. partly because richie doesn’t like to share, never has. when the two met all those years ago richie made sure everyone knew that stan was HIS best friend. one time bill tried to call stan his best friend and richie cried.

-since then he’s learned to share stan, with bill and mike especially. and they’ve all become protective of stan too. he’s lanky and likes birds and is good in school and is jewish lord knows the kid was gonna need some sort of protection

-richie and stan hold hands whenever possible and i will stand by this until i DIE

-the first time henry bowers ever tripped stan and called him a k*ke richie was filled with such an intense rage that he actually hit bowers back. granted, he got his ass kicked. but he never let go of stan’s hand, even while he was been bitched at by the principal for “picking fights”. 

-stan got a failing grade on a quiz once and his dad flipped his lid. mind you, stan was suffering from some pretty severe post-traumatic stress and his OCD had never been so nauseating but his father told him it was all in his head. that night richie actually considered the possibility that he might have to fight mr. uris. 

-any relationship, or semblance of one, stan might happen to fall into, richie is always right behind him. he was interested in this girl abigail, she was real sweet. but richie scared her away with his intense interrogation and background check. 

-then stan found out he had a crush on mike, boy was that a trip. richie didn’t talk to mike for weeks. and when he did, he mustered all the toughness and masculinity he could possibly have to threaten mike with the old “you hurt him, i kill you” speech

-even into their college years, richie will leave eddie’s side in the middle of the night to be there for stan. there have been many a breakdown on the bathroom floor for stan, and richie is always right there to dry up the tears and sing him to sleep.

i was lowkey wary of this one at first but i ended up loving it omg

• so you would never expect stanley the manley uris to be a rapper but boy,, HE IS

• and he’s a pretty damn good one at that

• he mostly produces his own stuff and releases it on soundcloud and youtube and he’s gained a pretty big following

• another thing you would never expect is for stan, the rapper, to have a soft punk/rock boyfriend

• richie is in a pop/punk/rock band and he’s got soft flowy hair and wears ripped skinny jeans and hawaiian shirts. (i’m getting STRONG harry styles vibes)

• and even though stan is more clean cut than others in his line of work, he’s still got tons of tattoos and piercings and is normally sporting an oversized hoodie

• they’re the most unlikely couple but they love each other SO MUCH

• stan features on some of richie’s songs and he listens in on his band rehearsals sometimes

• the rehearsals always end up in all of them high as kites

• but they support each other with everything they do even if they don’t understand it completely

• they go to all of each other’s concerts and they help each other make big decisions for their music careers and they’re just SO IN LOVE AND SO SUPPORTIVE
