Guarded Desires: Part 7
Fandom: Star Wars - The Acolyte
Pairing: Padawan!Qimir x Princess!Reader
Summary: After an assassination attempt on your mother, she’s asked a favor from the Jedi Council to watch over you and your family until the assailant has been caught. As a result, your mother’s old friend, Master Vernestra, has her padawan, Qimir, be your bodyguard. Based off my imagine here.
Series Masterlist
Tumblr media
There was no going back now. You and Qimir kissed and now everything is all jumbled up.
It kept you up that night. His hands holding you, his lips against yours, the way he looked at you after. It was too much.
You toss and turn in your bed, trying to find a comfortable position. You think of anything and everything that doesn't relate to Qimir and yet your thoughts still lead back to him.
You sigh as you roll onto your back, staring at the ceiling of your temporary room. You grow annoyed at this guilt eating away at you. Yes, you feel guilty. Guilty for seeing Qimir in such a way. Guilty for causing him to break one of the biggest rules in being a Jedi. Guilty for, despite feeling guilty, you also don't regret kissing him.
It's all so messy.
You roll onto your stomach, burying your head into your pillow and screaming into it. You then hear a knock at your door and you shoot up in surprise.
You sit up, grabbing your robe, and wrapping yourself in it. You quietly rush to the door. It opens to reveal Qimir.
You gulp and immediately step back, "Qimir, wh-"
"Your thoughts are so loud," he murmurs, "I can hear you spiraling. I feel your restlessness."
You feel guilty again, "I'm sorry. I just-"
"Do you regret the kiss?"
You hesitate, but slowly shake your head, "No. I feel guilty for putting you in a difficult position, but...I don't regret the kiss."
He steps into your room, the door closing behind him, "You didn't put me in a difficult position. I was the one that asked for the kiss."
"Why are you here, Qimir?"
He looks down, avoiding your gaze, "Master Vernestra is sending me back to Coruscant."
Your heart drops, "What? Why?"
"She immediately sensed a change in me. She looked into my head, saw the kiss," Qimir's shoulders sag in defeat, "She's sending me away."
"When?"
"Tomorrow morning. A new Jedi will be assigned to you and-and I'll never see you again."
You go to your bed to sit down, your head in your hands, "I'm sorry. I never wanted this to happen!"
He sighs, walking over to you, "Princess-"
"My father warned me to remain professional with you. To stop trying to be your friend and distance myself, but I couldn't. I-There's just something about you that made me want to know you and keep you close."
Qimir kneels at your feet and reaches up, cupping your face, "I know what you mean. Ever since I first saw you, I felt a pull towards you. I tried my best to remember the Jedi code, but...I struggled. I fell for you, Y/N."
You felt tears welling up in your eyes, "I don't want you to go, but I also don't want you to get in trouble even more. Being a Jedi is all you ever wanted-"
"It was...until I met you."
You can't help but feel your heart beat faster at his words, "Qi-"
"Let's just stop talking about. Let's just enjoy this last night together. Please," his words sound desperate, broken, and pleading as he leans in to kiss you, but you lean back.
"Qimir, is that really a good idea? You're already in trouble-"
"Exactly. Why continue staying away when I'm already going to get punished anyway?" He senses your hesitation, "We don't even have to do anything. I just want to spend these last moments for you." He runs his thumbs over your cheek and you melt under his touch.
You crawl further onto your bed, laying on one side. You gesture for Qimir to follow you and he does. He lays down beside you and pulls you into his arms. You cup his face this time and lean in, pecking his lips. When you pull away, he chases after your lips. You can't help but giggle as he kisses you again, deeper this time.
You sigh when you pull away, "I wish we had more time," you whisper against his lips.
"I know. I do too," Qimir murmurs in reply, kissing your forehead and holding you tight. You two spend the rest of the night light that, holding each other, kissing each other, and pretending that this will be the last time you see each other again.
______________________________
"Qimir was called back to Coruscant, so Nira will be protecting you, Princess Y/N," Master Vernestra gestures to the young Jedi woman beside her.
You show no emotion as you nod, "Thank you, Master Vernestra,"
Your father made no effort to hide his delight of Qimir's absence, "Well, now you won't be as distracted, eh, starlight?" He nudges you with a jovial expression and you roll your hands into tight fists to keep yourself as composed as possible.
"Yes, father," you grit out. You take a slow deep breath and then ask Vernestra, "Have there been any updates about the suspects?"
The Jedi master nods, "Yes. We've found a majority of those who took part in the palace attack. I'm confident that one of them knows who is responsible for the assassination attempt on the queen."
"Does that mean we can go back home?" You're desperate to go back to living life a best you could. You need something to distract you from thinking about Qimir. You can only do so much at this Jedi temple.
Vernestra nods, "Yes, however, you should all still remain vigilant."
"Of course. We'll do whatever you think is best, Vernestra," your mother says.
The Jedi master excuses herself and Nira joins you. She gives you a polite smile and bows, "Your Highness."
You shake your head, "That's unnec-"
"She's showing you respect. Unlike the other Jedi-"
Your mother interrupts your father with a stern call of his name and hard look in her eyes. He scoffs and waves off your mother.
You're not sure why, but your father hasn't been as loving towards your mother like he used to be. He's changed in the recent years. He's become more uptight, uncaring, strict, and unloving to your family, but especially you. You're not sure if it's due to the rising conflict across the planet or the council breathing down his neck, but your father isn't the same man he was when you were growing up and it hurts. You're sure it's hurting your mother too. Your sisters, well, they never knew how your father was before, so you feel as though they are lucky to not witness the change. However, you are happy that they aren't subjected to the same treatment that you receive from him.
After you're excused, Nira follows you as you head to Aspen and Ada's temporary rooms, "I'd like to spend some time with my sisters."
"Of course, Your Majesty," Nira says as she walks behind you, never beside you like Qimir did.
When you enter the rooms, Ryker stands and bows, "Your Highness."
You give him a polite nod, "Are they behaving?" you ask with a smirk as you sit in-between them, both playing with their dolls.
"As best as they can be, Princess Y/N."
You chuckle and poke Ada's side and she giggles, "Stop, Y/N!"
Aspen tugs at your sleeve and you turn to her, "Yes, Pen?"
She leans in, whispering into your ear, "Who's the lady?"
"She's the Jedi that will be protecting me."
Ada's brows furrow in confusion, "What about Qimir?"
You look at her with a frown, "He had to go back to Coruscant, so Nira is his replacement."
"Why?" Aspen asks.
"He had to continue his training so he can be a Jedi Knight."
Ada asks, "But what about the wedding?"
You look at your younger sister with confusion written all over your face, "Ada, what are you talking about?"
Both Ada and Aspen sandwich you as they explain, "You said you like Qimir and Qimir likes you!"
"And you two were supposed to get married!"
Your eyes glance as Nira and Ryker as they watch you from the side of the room. They both have neutral expressions on their faces. You have no doubt they know why Qimir was sent away and you feel ashamed.
You clear your throat and interrupt your sisters' rambling, "Girls, girls. Please. Qimir and I...we're just friends. He-" you pause as your words get stuck in your throat. You clear your throat again, "He and I will never be married. He's going to be a Jedi and-and Jedi can't have those types of relationships."
The twins' shoulders slump in disappointment. Ada plays with the hem of your dress as she mumbles, "I was excited to wear a pretty dress for your wedding."
That makes you laugh. You kiss your precious sister's head, "Oh, sweetheart, you'll get your chance some time in the future. Just no any time soon, okay?"

Yelloooooooo!!!!!! I got a request. Can you write a brozone x pop/rap troll fem reader?? Where there related to the bros? I honestly can't think of anything else, but ik for sure theres gotta be crazy angst and comfort!!!
P.S. LOVE YOUR STORIES
▐ Do you mean all of them together or the separate reaction of each of them? I'm going to do it all together as a one shot kisses 🫶🏻 (but if not, you can make another request)
P.S THANK YOU SO MUCH
Tumblr media
໑୧﹒★﹒Brozone x pop/rap!Reader - Headcanon's/one-shot ᰍ﹒∿
𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 - You are a pop and rap troll, you were already considered part of the family by brozone what would be their reaction? Lets see right now
𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐦 - Trolls band togeter
𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 - GN!Reader, angsty, platonic
Tumblr media Tumblr media
★ When you told them...
– You were really nervous about telling them this, but Poppy and Viva were encouraging you
– Ok you were freaking out, Poppy and Viva got them together and said you had something to say, what were they thinking??? You wanted to stick your face in a hole and never come out
– The two left leaving you there with the confused brothers, you took a deep breath and started telling them
"Okay then well, I wanted to tell you this, because you are like brothers to me and I think you will support me in this"
– John Dory has already started to panic, she has already started to imagine a million things
💭 "IS SHE DATING? DOES SHE NO LONGER TRUST US? DOES SHE WANT TO MOVE AWAY???"
"Well, I'm a pop and rap troll" - you said looking a little embarrassed and JD's jaw dropped to the floor
"Ah, what a silly thing, y/n, everything is fine" - said branch carelessly with a hand on your shoulder (I didn't know what color to put on him, srry)
"SILLY?? NO ITS NOT SILLY HOW CAN YOU BE BOTH? IS THIS POSSIBLE?" - JD didn't understand anything
"Calm down, John Dory, this is normal, I, for example, am a pop and rock troll" - Floyd said, smiling slightly and you were a little sad about JD's reaction (I have a hc that he is a rock troll)
"WHAT YOU ARE A ROCK TROLL???" - He said turning his head to Floyd
"Hey man, relax, this is more common than you think" - Clay said looking angry at JD because he noticed your sad reaction
"My kids sing all kinds of music all the time" - Spruce said with a nasal laugh
"John Dory, you're making Y/N uncomfortable stop it" - he said quietly to John Dory with a sideways glance
"Okay, it doesn't enter my head either you're a rap troll or you're a pop troll, or you're a rock trolls or you're a pop troll"
"Why not both JD?" - you and Floyd said at the same time
"Because it's confusing and strange, it doesn't make sense to be both"
"Okay, that's enough of trying to change other people, John Dory" - Clay said, already irritated
"Clay just relax, okay? It dont make the argument worse"
"But he's right, John Dory is crossing the line!" - and you remained silent watching them argue and left with Floyd
★ When you went out with Floyd...
– He comforted you even though he was also sad about the situation
"Hey, it's okay, don't mind Dory, he'll understand soon"
"But why fight like that? They can't argue without fighting..."
"I know Y/n... it's okay" - he hugged you gently and you hugged him back
– You stayed there until the branch appeared because he got angry about arguing with John Dory
★ A few days later...
– You hadn't spoken to John Dory for a few days and she was really sad about the way he treated you
– He studied a lot about this being more than one thing and thought it was really cool
– He felt horrible about the way he treated you and asked Spruce and Clay for help on how to apologize to you
– Clay didn't want to help at first, but Spruce convinced him to help
– Of course, Floyd and Branch joined in on this, Branch would distract you along with Floyd, Clay and Spruce taught John Dory how to say sorry (which was an almost impossible mission)
– They prepared a "little party" with a huge sign saying "WE ACCEPT YOU Y/N AND FLOYD"
– When you got there JD practically jumped on you crying and apologizing saying how proud he was of you (he had done this to Floyd before the party)
– You ended up getting emotional and forgave him and promised that you would teach him more about being a troll with two musical genres
Tumblr media
▐ That was hard to write, huh? Hope yall liked it
▐ Sorry if there are any grammatical errors love you guys ♡

For a reason I can't tell you yet 🤐, I'm thinking a lot about Bryttalíf and Hálwinë today... Do you want to tell us some headcanons you have for them?
I WILL make my own headcanon public once it's not a spoiler for unpublished pHORSE chapters anymore! (Not that they will appear in pHORSE, only that the HC is related to some of my OCs who haven't had their big reveals yet!)
I am very intrigued that there is any kind of connection between my Háma’s family and a HC of your pHORSE story, and I look forward to hearing more about it (at the appropriate time of course)!
I’m about to unload probably way more than you ever needed/wanted to know, but I’m not sure the fic I was working on that would include a lot of this is gonna work so I might as well spoil it all! So, here’s a bunch about Háma’s family, which also naturally features lots of Háma himself!
Tumblr media
Art by @ rinthecap (I’ve got no art of Háma’s family but imagine he’s thinking about them!)
—Bryttalif (Brytta to her friends) was originally from Harrowdale. Growing up in the mountains gave her a hearty constitution — she was outdoorsy and strong and not afraid of hard work or getting dirty.
—Her father was a swordsmith, and they moved to Edoras when she was a teen because there was a bigger market for his work there. But a capital city is a more expensive place to live, and so Brytta trained as a midwife in order to add another income to the family. She was a natural, and by her mid-20’s she was the most popular midwife in Edoras, known for being especially calm and efficient.
—Because she was unmarried, she still lived at home. Her father was *extremely* domineering, and both Brytta and her mother spent a lot of their time trying to avoid upsetting him.
—He pushed her *hard* into a relationship with Grigan, the son of one of the wealthiest merchants in the city. She liked Grigan well enough — he was much nicer than her father, at least — and she wanted to please her parents, who clearly thought the match would be advantageous for all of them, so she tried to make Grigan happy even though she never loved him.
—That resulted in her getting pregnant while they were still courting, and Grigan freaked out. He ran, leaving Edoras to go stay at a family estate in the Westfold, and refused to acknowledge that he’d ever had anything to do with her.
—This obviously made things very hard for her — the gossips and scolds of Edoras had a lot to say about an unwed pregnant woman (fed by damage control from Grigan’s family), and her father, in particular, was furious with her for having “ruined” his plans. But into this chaos and unhappiness walked Háma!
—He met her by chance when he came to commission a sword from her father. (Their meet-cute is here as a WIP snippet.) They started to spend time together, and she fell for him hard, knowing almost immediately that she felt far differently about Háma than she’d ever felt about Grigan or any other man.
—She was (happily) shocked when he seemed to like her just as much. He didn’t care what anyone else thought of her (“a man of worth trusts in his own wisdom”) and wasn’t put off by the idea that she was going to have a baby (“often times the best things in life are those that were unlooked for”).
—There was quite a stir in town when people found out that Háma had taken up with her. It even came up when he was considered for promotion to captain of the king’s guards. One of the king’s advisors asked what it said about him that he was consorting with someone like Brytta; Háma answered that Brytta was clever and kind and brave, and so it said that he was a lucky man. (He got the promotion, obviously, with Théoden reasoning that a man of unshakable loyalty is exactly who he wanted in charge of his safety.)
—The stir quieted down fairly quickly once people realized the whole situation was a lot less interesting and salacious when there was a loving couple at the center of it. And in all the best ways, Háma and Brytta were boring — they got engaged and were happy and lived a quiet life with a small, tight circle of friends and family.
—When Hálwinë was born, Háma loved her like she’d always been in his plans. She was even registered as “Hálwinë, daughter of Háma” (Háma cried when Brytta asked him if he’d like to be Hálwinë’s legal father). When he and Brytta were finally married two months later, he carried Hálwinë through the whole ceremony.
—Hálwinë was an enormous daddy’s girl. She loved to braid his hair (badly), go for rides on his shoulders and listen to him tell stories. He was her first hero.
—It tickled her to see the other guards all treat him with the respect due to a superior — she didn’t totally understand it, but she could clearly see that her dad was Important and she agreed!
—Once he became door warden, she liked to visit him while he sat watch, and Théoden knew her by sight from how often Brytta brought her to Meduseld to see Háma, give him a hug and sit with him for a few minutes.
—(Incidentally, she became a bit fixated during these visits on Gríma, who she saw often. After Gríma scowled at her once, Háma told her that Gríma was a sad man who used his sadness as an excuse to be mean. This made her decide that Gríma just needed a friend, and so she tried repeatedly to befriend him, always waving and saying hi and sometimes bringing him little flowers she’d picked or a treat that Brytta had intended for her. Gríma found this very confusing and eventually told Háma to keep his brat away from him; this is the closest Háma ever came to murder.)
—Hálwinë was barely 6 when Háma died. She had a hard time truly understanding what had happened and would periodically ask Brytta when he was coming home. It wasn’t until the next year, when Brytta was able to take her to Helm’s Deep to see his grave, that it really sank in. She went back to visit him there regularly for the rest of her life.
—Brytta was 5 months pregnant when Háma died. She had a boy and named him Wilspell (“welcome news”). The need to care for Hálwinë and Wilspell carried Brytta through this extraordinarily painful time, along with the love and support of Háma’s sisters and the guards, who looked in on their old captain’s family often.
—Once Hálwinë and Wilspell (“Willie”) were old enough, Brytta went back to work and was the one to deliver Éomer’s kids because she was *still* the best midwife in Edoras and would be until she retired.
—Grigan came back to Edoras to take over his family’s business when Hálwinë was 13, and he and Brytta inevitably crossed paths. He sort of apologized, and she told him it was all for the best because things had worked out much better for her without him. She asked Hálwinë if she wanted to meet him, but Hálwinë had no interest in a father that wasn’t Háma.
—Brytta never remarried, though she had offers. When she died, she was buried at Helm’s Deep beside Háma, the only woman buried there among the war dead.
So…like I said, way more than you probably wanted! Thanks for asking and hope it wasn’t a total overload! (And yes, the Háma of my HC is a dream, he’s a dream based in reality — I borrowed the Háma - Brytta love story from an elderly relative of mine, who was pregnant and unmarried in the 40’s when she met the love of her life!)

One of the things that bothers me about how Rhaenyra is portrayed in the show is that it doesn’t really capture how deeply her daughter’s and Luke’s deaths affect her. Aside from the first episode, where she does look exhausted, the rest of the season makes it seem as though their deaths haven’t deeply affected her. If the writers wanted to keep the focus away from constantly mentioning her losses, they should have made sure the weight of those events hung over her in a more subtle way. But instead, Rhaenyra often seems too well put together. While Emma looks absolutely stunning this season, Rhaenyra doesn't come across as a grieving mother. Even when she’s poring over scrolls, searching for Targaryen connections in other royal families, or dealing with members of her council, she appears too well put together, even in moments of anger and stress (that slap feels like it came out of nowhere). After the traumatic birth of her daughter and the way Luke died, you’d expect her to look physically and emotionally worn out. I understand that the show wants to present her as a powerful figure, but it’s reached a point where she’s not relatable. Take the scene where she wakes up to talk to Alicent; Rhaenyra looks almost ethereal. Her braid is flawless, her face looks well-rested, and she’s far too put together for someone who’s been woken up so early. I’m not saying she shouldn’t take care of herself, but it would be more believable if we could see that she’s going through something really tough.
I still can't get over the fact that Rhaenyra goes through an absurdly traumatic stillbirth of her daughter... this trauma to her body and her recovery from this birth being a reason in the books for why she was physically unable to engage in battle early on... only for the show to have her, literally a day or two after pushing a baby out, decide to hop on her dragon, fly out to meet an enemy emissary, and then easily and quickly dismount. Like for a lack of a better term... ma'am your hoo ha? Imagine riding a horse after giving birth but the ride has way more rough movement and a landing on the ground to experience. Afterbirth recovery is painful and uncomfortable and it would be especially so for such an awful experience as the one Rhaenyra went through, yet it's completely disregarded for an unnecessary girlboss moment that just breaks immersion.
And it continues when they retcon her look of war at the end of season 1 and have her forget all about her stillbirth and the death of Lucerys after a couple of episodes. Her grief and bodily trauma should have been an easy way for the writers to explain Rhaenyra's inaction in this part of the story and the ways her council *could* have tried to take advantage of her in this state. But then they just... never used it... and instead she instantly recovers from birth and has completed the grieving process on speedrun and her inaction is solely due to her desire for *peace* in a war she is actively pursuing to win a throne because her father said it was hers...
It really makes such little sense.

What do i know/expect of 1899:
(Of course I expect an amazing story from Baran Bo Odar & Jantje Friese. I just know it and I have no doubt about it.)
Season 2: I know the show was canceled, but I have hopes that the project will get a second chance. In fact, the cancellation is kind of the first thing I knew about the show. Even though I hadn't seen "Dark" at the time, I had people tell me it was the best show they had ever seen. So when I read a list of canceled shows from that year, I was surprised to see a project from the creators of "Dark". They already made such a hit show for Netflix, why weren't they given a better chance?
Triangles: There are a lot of triangles in the promotional pictures, I have no idea what they mean. I guess it has a deep symbolic meaning in the show. Since the show was canceled, I don't think there is a complete answer to the meaning of it. There are symbols in "Dark" like the triqueta whose meaning can't be fully understood until the last season. I hope there is some information about it in the season.
Andreas Pietschmann is also part of this project: Yes. I love it when directors/writers like an actor and they just want to keep working with that actor. I would love it if he somehow showed up in their next project. Imagine you are watching a Bo/Jantje project and Andreas just shows up in a scene as a cowboy or something. But why? Well… I don't think there needs to be a logical explanation for wanting to see Andreas on screen. If they want to, they should just put him in every project they do.
It's on a ship: The story takes place on a ship. I think it is probably a ghost ship. These characters are dead and they're going to be in pain somehow while they're dead. I don't think they're alive. It would be too innocent to think that any of these people are alive and well. So I think it could be like these people died in this ship in 1899 or the ship is like a limbo and they died in different eras but they're stuck together now somehow or maybe an opposite like the ship is like alive and it's draining the passengers energy. None of that makes a lot of sense, but I think the mystery around it will have a strong scientific basis.
These people are not related: I hope they're not related…like it would be even better if they didn't even know each other. I think a less messy family tree would be perfect. This time the couples can just be couples.
The kids are not okay: If there are some kids on the ship, they are cooked. "Dark" started with kids disappearing and dying, and their next project is literally called "Something Is Killing The Children". I don't know, but I kind of get the vibe that the kids are not going to be safe in this story.
Multilingual: I think that's why the show was canceled and it's so sad. There doesn't seem to be as much openness to hearing people speak their languages when their language isn't English. The show won't hit the same and probably wouldn't make sense if people aren't interested in reading subtitles and hearing different languages. It has so much potential, but it requires an open mind to the concept. Director Bong Joon-ho said it better.

I found this image while looking for drawing refs, and it sparked such a fun idea in my head lol
Tumblr media
Birdie has done this to Brian before, she literally did the whole "You hurt him I'll hurt you" thing even tho she loves him as a teacher, letting him get close to her dad is something she's not entirely sure about to begin with, because her dad has explained to her a few times why she doesn't have a mum and why he just wants to stay a single dad forever. She knows he was dead set on not dating and not putting himself out there again, so when Brian ends up in their lives as Tim's boyfriend not just as her teacher, she's at least a little wary of the whole thing, y'know?
she was very polite with her threats, of course, he's still her teacher, he doesn't feel like family yet, like he will later on. But they're still threats, and pretty creative ones too.
But like, imagine being a pretty muscular adult man who can't just walk away to escape, and this tiny, scrawny ten year old you've been teaching P.E. to for like a year starts threatening you while you're staying at her house, because you're dating her dad. Like you're on the sofa waiting for her dad to come back so you can keep watching a movie together, and she just walks into the room and grabs your collar (very politely. She asks first, she says "This is what people on tv do, so i need to do it too" it's pretty amusing, but also vaguely disconcerting) and starts threatening you very politely in very inventive ways.
Because she loves her dad, and she knows he was in a not so great relationship once (tho she also knows that her dad feels really conflicted about that relationship and sometimes is like "yeah fuck that guy i remember everything he did" and other times he's like "why was i angry at him i dont remember him doing anything wrong? He was just hurt and scared because of Alex,") She's had to look after her dad after his nightmares for a long time, she knows what a lot of them are about (well, kinda, he tells her about them in kid friendly terms lol, the same way he tells her about the less good side of Jay) and she won't let Brian become a source of those nightmares.
So she gives him a shovel talk, y'know? Because that's what you're meant to do, isn't it? It's what they do on tv and in movies so it's probably what you're meant to do.
Also lot of the threats are bug related.
Because it's Birdie, of course her threats are bug related, she knows a lot about bugs and some of those facts make for good threats.

HEAR ME OUT
James Potter son of Apollo smth smth prophecy looming over him that no one really tells him about. Its either about him or his bloodline
Dumbledore and McGonagall, camp directors, who know about the prophecy and about the other gods but never really tell anyone.
Peter Pettigrew, satyr protector to James and Marlene who brought them to camp.
Marlene Mckinnon, daughter of Hermes
Mary Mcdonald, daughter of Aphrodite
Lily Evans, daughter of Hecate
Remus Lupin, son of Athena, had been targeted by Lycaon the werewolf king, the og werewolf if you will.
One day, Sirius just shows up at camp, changing everything James thought he knew about himself and the gods.
He's passed out at the entry of the camp when Remus finds him and brings him to Dumbledore and McGonagall. Remus can't help but groan in disgust as he startles awake "you drool when you sleep" he tells him.
Turns out, Sirius has amnesia and the only thing he can remember is his name. Just his first name.
He can remember other stuff as well, like the names of the gods and monsters, except he knows them all in Roman and even though he's a bit rough around the edges and flinches a lot and acts tough, James decides to stick with him.
They go on a quest, yada yada yada, Sirius feels like he should remember someone important but he just can't put his finger on it.
Soon the four- James, Sirius, Remus and Peter become fast friends, and Sirius seems to have no issue with forgetting his "past life" since he has a feeling this one is much better.
Everything is going fine, Sirius like Remus, Remus likes Sirius, though neither of them will ever admit it, James is loud and proud about his crush on Lily.
Until one day when they run into someone else on a quest. They heard from Peter about a group of demigods, only to discover they aren't some helpless eleven year olds but rather fully trained vicious, broody, sarcastic annoying demigods. James doesn't remember seeing them at camp, but they all have weapons and they keep talking about their home. There's three of them, Regulus Black, son of Hades, Dorcas Meadows, daughter of Nike and Barty Crouch Jr, son of Nemesis.
Sirius falls off a cliff lol so James, Remus, Peter, Regulus and Lily go on a quest to get him back. EXCEPT THEY DON'T KNOW SIRIUS AND REGULUS ARE RELATED. James never says the name of his friend who fell off the cliff, he just calls him "Padfoot" or the occasional "Pads" and Regulus doesn't really talk at all about his family or even where he's from.
Smth smth cute about Dorcas being SUPER competitive with Marlene in everything at camp, smth smth, Barty meeting Evan Rosier at camp haha
anyway, Black Brother reunion!! does not go well, smth smth both camps realise about each other!!
Have to band together to defeat an enemy.
Since James and the others cant go to their camp, Regulus, Dorcas and Barty decide to stay to vanquish the threat of the Dark Lord only to discover that some of their own camp members are on the bad side (Luke Castellan's side)
smth smth, battle!! Regulus and Barty join the bad side while Dorcas stays.
Regulus discovers the weaknesses of the Dark Lord and dies while trying to destroy it.
Sirius and James who had been dating Regulus in secret, are both devastated. smth smth!!
final battle!! By this time, James and Lily have been dating, they're like young tho, and James has conflicting feelings about the battle cause he keeps imagining Regulus to be one of the enemy but he's yk dead.
Blahblah blah, Peter betrays them, James and Lily die, but they have a son who will go on to permanently destroy the threat forever and ever, the end everyone you love is dead!

And on another note, please ramble about my favorite character Romeo and any headcanons you have about him
The silly Bri'ish man? Well, better strap in, imma ramble your ear- no, that doesn't make sense... imma ramble your eyes out??
Whatever, god. Where do I start?
TW for an abusive family near the end. if that makes you uncomfortable, don't read it because I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable. I will put a "keep reading" tab to make it easier to avoid.
I do see Romeo as a little skinnier than Xara and Fred, purely for the sake that he definitely relies on his powers a little too much. I mean, we see that in the game, he rarely isn't flying around and using teleportation. So with that, not only would I imagine he is thinner but also most definitely has very soft hands, and hands that are quite small compared to his partners, Xara and Fred. Though he kinda looks like a twink when I draw him with his cunty little poses and clothes, which was NOT intended. Sorry, Romeo..
I definitely think he hates feeling small. He isn't short in my head, compared to most characters, he is an average height, taller than most. But when it comes to taller characters like Axel, Aiden, Mevia, Xara or Fred, he looks small and he hates it. Especially compared to Xara and Fred because he only comes up to their shoulders. It's why I imagine he flies all the time, so he can be higher above people and feel big. Though there is a "good" small, as I would describe it, which is specifically when he is cuddled up against Fred and Xara. Feeling small in a more protected and loved way rather than a weak and vulnerable way.
I do imagine he is a bit insecure, which is related to his shit family, and will get defensive and snappy when someone points it out. He would probably struggle with saying "sorry" too, especially with the ego he has to almost protect himself. Romeo has this strange thing where he wants people around but also tends to push them away at the same time, which only further affects his mental state.
Like, you can't tell me Romeo is perfectly mentally well, he is quite unpredictable and definitely has mood swings all the time. Kinda like a cat but worse, he might be grumpy and not want to be touched but all of a sudden, he's draped over Fred and Xara, demanding cuddles. Though I imagine he can be a bit of a tease too, finding fun in playing little games.
After losing his powers, he definitely lost his confidence too. After all, he felt that his powers were all he had and was all that was important about him, which creates the little wet pathetic mess he becomes. But he doesn't stay like that, after a lot of time and healing, I'd imagine that confident, very close to arrogant personality of his would come back but not so... horrible? Is that the right word? I'd imagine Xara wouldn't mind putting him in his place though if he tried anything stupid. In my mind, I have an Admin oc called Amy who helps revive Fred, so the three are back together and healing with each other.
But like I said, even after they rebuild their relationship with each other or how much they love each other, she wouldn't hesitate to suplex him if he acted up. Then again, she would have done that before!
Gotta love him, even though he definitely does have tantrums. But for some reason, it works so well with a power hungry Admin who definitely has a problem with being too controlling. Which I created a whole backstory to explain why he feels the need to be in control. I'll get into that now.
I wrote about this in an AO3 fic but not in lots of detail. I see him as someone who was born into a family with brown hair and green eyes, so his unusual red hair and blue eyes are quite strange. But his family, instead of being normal and just going "Oh, cool. You have bright hair and eyes" they are dicks instead, using his differences to call him a disappointment or a freak. Though his family aren't the best, if it wasn't apparent. The parents are quite controlling, which is where I derive his need to be in control from. Trauma, put simply.
And, unfortunately, most of his relatives let themselves be basically molded into carbon copies of his parents and are quite horrible towards him, going as far as forcing his head under water before laughing at him when they let go. Though a young Alex and Steve protects him a few times when they saw it. His parents tried forcing him to dye his hair and wear contacts, which at first he refuses but eventually, once broken down, yields.
Upon seeing this, Alex and Steve are worried and Alex, being the hothead she is, goes to shout at the parents though Steve manages to calm her and instead get him away from the family, offering him a place to stay with them. A least a year goes by, and he'll be around sixteen and his red hair has grown out again. His parents find the place and the confrontation leads to him running away and meeting Fred and Xara.

Platonic older sibling of Cartman that is his opposite that tries to teach him to be a better person concept? Thanks!
Honestly, I was excited for this as it would be such a shitshow. Pardon my language but if you're reading my stuff you're atleast 16 anyways. This concept bounces between younger you and Cartman and older you and Cartman, for sibling stuff.
Note: Wow, I actually loved writing this- I wish I put more cute moments but I had to still acknowledge the fact Cartman is an ass. Probably one of my new favorite platonic concepts I did. I do not mind feedback!
Yandere! Platonic! Eric Cartman with Older Sibling! Darling
Pairing: Platonic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Jealousy, Mature language, Platonic behavior, I actually made some cute moments, Family issues, Manipulation, Murder, Violence, Clingy behavior.
Tumblr media
Your existence confuses many who meet your family immensely.
How did the first child come out fine, but the second child came out... Cartman?
It's speculated that it's because Cartman was never given proper discipline.
He's also very hard to control.
You're so nice to everyone, you help your mother, you don't try to exploit anyone.
Meanwhile Cartman does the opposite of all that and makes people eat their parents.
The only person he's really compassionate to is you.
You're were the only older kid he liked when he was younger.
He did hate that all of his friends liked you too.
"Why aren't you like your sibling, Cartman?"
"Shut the hell up!"
You look so different compared to him.
In your grade, in fact the entirety of you growing up, people were astonished you were related.
"Cartman? The little fat punk? You're related to him?"
You look like you don't get along.
Of course, your sibling relationship isn't perfect...
But you are probably one of the only ones he genuinely cares for.
There's times Cartman tries to not show he cares for you...
Yet he can't help but like your comfort.
If you're wondering... is he affectionate?
Yes... with lots of grumbling.
Cartman secretly does like your hugs and sibling bonding.
He just doesn't want anyone around to see it.
If he isn't trying to pester his friends into hanging out, he comes to you.
He's nervous asking due to his pride.
You do try to put him on the right path, feeling that's the right thing to do as a sibling.
He's a horrible person... yet he's still your brother.
You try to teach him good morals and respect...
He doesn't pick up on it.
He's only ever good to you.
He's always been a moody kid.
Yet there has been times when you were younger he was... softer for lack of a better word.
For example you were watching TV together after school, he feel asleep almost on you.
R.I.P your breathing.
It was... cute.
You didn't even bother bringing him up the stairs and instead just tucked him in there.
You do love him.
Even with you both being older, him being around 18 and you somwhere in your 20's, you still care for him deeply.
Cartman acts like he doesn't want a sibling.
Although he probably can't imagine his life without you.
Now... the yandere part?
Cartman is selfish and easily jealous.
He's still manipulative even to you.
You just know to shut him down.
Cartman doesn't want his friends talking about you.
God he'd be so fucking pissed if one of his friends complimented you.
Even more so if you started talking with someone like Scott Tenorman.
You mention that man's name?
Cartman is actually screeching about it.
Cartman is very protective/possessive about his older sibling.
Ever since he was young he clung to your leg in public if you were doing something.
Which felt like you were being weighed down.
Your mother thought how Cartman feels about you is sweet.
You may have no father but she's happy you have each other.
Obviously no kidnapping in this concept.
You live with each other and he finds that really weird to do to his sibling anyways?
Murder?
Oh, well, that's an exception.
If the whole feeding people their parents wasn't a warning... then that's on you.
He'd definitely threaten, manipulate, and possibly even injure/murder those he hates around you.
He does not fuck around. Ever.
You do not get to talk to Scott, you do not get to talk to Kyle.
He hates them... that would be the ultimate betrayal!
He gets pissy at you at times and you've learned just to tolerate it.
He's screaming at you and you're just petting Mr. Kitty.
He then runs off to his room.
Thirty minutes later?
He's whining for you to come and comfort him....
That was just when he was younger, too.
When you're both older he isn't much better.
He's still giving you hugs and hating who you hang around.
Due to your childhood he's probably still clingy.
Even when you have a job and move out, kissing your mom goodbye, Cartman throws the biggest fit ever.
You took forever leaving the house that day-
"Eric... I'll show you where I live, you can visit anytime."
"NO. YOU'RE ABANDONING ME. DON'T TRY TO ACT LIKE YOU AREN'T."
Will always be a child with his behavior.
Hell, to you he's always a child since you grew up together.
Yes... he does visit.
It just takes forever to get him to leave.
Have a spouse?
He's criticizing you and them just to be an ass.
If you yell at him to stop or you'll kick him out he goes silent for awhile.
Overall, Cartman is a very jealous sibling who hates to share.
He clings to you and does like how nice you were to him, trying to correct his ways despite failing.
He loves you and wishes you two didn't have to go seperate ways...
Unfortunately he'll always be a controlling brat even if you tried to change it, you just need to know when to shut him down.

First watch: The Miracle of Teddy Bear episodes 1-3
A huge ka bun krap to @lurkingshan for pointing me to The Miracle of Teddy Bear finally being posted to YouTube. I'm three episodes in and I'm hooked!
There's a great balance between humor, sweetness and darkness. I understand this series has a bittersweet ending, and I'm ready for that. I would have been surprised based on the first episode, but they're definitely setting things up to earn that ending.
The following has some mild reveals but I don't think they'll ruin anything. I'm putting them after the cut just in case.
The main couple is kind of an enemies to lovers trope - Nut can't stand Tofu but tolerates him because he believes it's his fault Tofu is in the condition he's in, an apparent amnesiac who can't remember how to behave in society, as well as (Tofu suspects) Tofu looking exactly like Nut's high school crush. Tofu doesn't help the situation by his failure to out himself as Nut's teddy bear turned human, something he could easily prove by relating their past together, such as the movies they've watched or that the family dog tore Tofu's leg off and Nut's mother Na sewed it back on.
The part that's hardest to deal with is Nut's ongoing anger at his mother. The mother is not well and hallucinates, so it's clearly a stressor between them. But so much for the Thai cultural respect for parents - his intensity in expressing that anger to Na was shocking to me and I rather imagine it's even more shocking for Thai audiences.
The obviously budding May-August side couple is hilarious. Watching the May character flirt with his "Uncle" is a trip, as is the August's parents shipping him at dinner. I have a feeling we'll need that comic relief as the darker elements of the series intensify.
We also get comedy relief from the various inanimate objects in the house who can talk to Tofu.
On the down side, subtitles are distractingly sloppy: Thai for "Wait!" becomes "Waiting" and I think that's happening for other one-verb commands. They seem to be randomly choosing third-person pronouns, even within the same sentence, switching back and forth between "he" and "she" and "it" for the same person, even for first-person (I know that sometimes the same pronoun is used for first and third person in Thai, but that doesn't work in English), and it's sometimes confusing enough to me that I'm not sure who they are talking about. "That's not how you do it" becomes "That's not how it happened." Something, I don't know what, became "Perception." (Yes, as a sentence.) "P'Nut" becomes "Nuts". "Na" (Nut's mom) randomly becomes "N/A" (not applicable). They mix "kiss" and "hug" as if they meant the same thing. There is plenty more mysterious nonsense that I have no idea what they are talking about. Plus they're burned in to the video, which is not my favorite way to experience subtitles, since it takes away my control of how they look. I can overlay them with my preference, but the double subtitles are distracting over and above the quality issues so I'm putting up with the burned-in ones.
As a side note, the story idea reminds me of the classic queer play Stray Dog Story by the late Robert Chesley, in which a dog becomes human, he and his human have a night making love, but then the human is killed in a gay bashing and the dog turned human is left to make it on his own. It is a very dark play.
Okay, here's the cut. Or continue with episodes 4-5.
There's some dark stuff brewing, though, as Tofu seems to trade consciousness with a comatose activist who was rescued after being left on an active railroad track to die. I'm clowning this to be what makes the ending bittersweet: if Tofu is getting his human form by taking it from the activist, then if Tofu were to remain human, the activist would remain in a coma until he dies. So Tofu has to go back to being a teddy bear so the activist can come out of the coma. I do think Nut and Tofu will become lovers before Tofu goes back to being a teddy bear, thus bittersweet.
I am also clowning that Nut will be aware by that time that Tofu is his teddy bear come to life, and that it will come out by accident rather than by Tofu intentionally coming out. They may even become aware of the link between Tofu and the activist and that Tofu needs to go back to being a teddy bear to revive the activist (although that would imply they can figure out the how part, something Tofu clearly doesn't know as of the end of episode 3).
If you've seen the entire series I respectfully request that you do not spoil my clowns.
Tofu gained consciousness as an inanimate object long before the activist was put into a coma, so it's a bit of a plot hole that human Tofu's losing consciousness other than by sleeping wakes up the activist. Logical or not, this rule of the series universe is set up clearly and I expect to see it play out more as the series progresses. It would be particularly sad if Tofu has to give up his inanimate consciousness when he goes back to being a teddy bear.
And it's clear that, with what already looks like an attempted murder, things are going to get very dark during the series.
I do see Nut starting to soften toward Tofu, even as Nut likes to keep his gruff exterior.
The real reason for Nut's anger at his mother comes out at the end of episode 3.
As for the side couple, there was a tropey fall-kiss, but at least they waited until the third episode by which time I was already hooked on the series. Plus the May-on-August flirtation had already been going on for at least two episodes, so it wasn't as bad as some past fall-kisses I've seen. Definitely not abandoning the series over this one.
Continue with episodes 4-5.

Show Rankings: Crime Edition
Tumblr media
These are just the crime shows that I've watched (or that I can remember at least). If you have any show recommendations based on this pleeeeeaaaase comment them.
I'll be explaining my reasonings below the cut!
Psych - my favorite crime show ever, it's nostalgic, funny, well written, intriguing, and it balances serious with funny so well.
Sherlock - I mean, this show is incredible on all fronts. It's my favorite kind of show, one that you cannot look away from or get distracted from for even a second without missing something. I was on the edge of my seat absolutely enthralled every second. Incredible show.
Veronica Mars - this one is very different from any others on this list and honestly any other crime show I've ever seen. It's amazing and riveting and so interesting, I love it. I ignore the final season existing like everyone else though, screw that.
Bones - great show, super interesting, love the sciency stuff a ton and the unique way of solving crime vs the others on this list. I hate what they did to Booth and Brennan's relationship finally progressing though, and there are definitely flat points I end up scrolling on my phone through.
Castle - really fun show, but there's a lot of stuff I don't care for in it like oversexualization. It also drags on a bit so thats why it gets some points off. The goofy crime solving mixed with serious plot lines and really fun character dynamics keep it above B for me.
The Mentalist - really fun, love Jane's character endlessly, he reminds me of Shawn Spencer in a lot of ways (Psych mentions The Mentalist a few times too). I love how his trauma is included even while he's covering it up with humor. Ending felt a bit weird for me but I like the show a lot and I like how it's dark while still managing to be lighthearted and fun to watch. Plus the amount of times he goats people into hitting him is amazing.
Monk - I relate to Monk a lot with my contamination OCD, the show is really fun, the team is really fun together, plus it goes on for a while in a great way.
White Collar - I love Peter and Neal's dynamic so much, that's honestly the main reason this is high up. It gets a bit boring and repetitive and drawn out sometimes, but I just love how Peter adopted this suave nuisance and actually gets anything done.
Only Murders in the Building - good show, honestly not super memorable yet but I intend to watch the next season. I think the concept is great and the dynamics of the main 3 are really fun and I like it a lot so far.
So Help Me Todd - fun show, Todd makes me laugh, I think his ever developing and growing partnership with his mom is hilarious. That family is honestly so chaotic and I love it, but the show has some lacking parts I don't quite know how to describe. I found myself forgetting to watch the next episodes.
Brooklyn 99 - please don't hate me for this being at B, it's a great and really funny show, I just really didn't connect with it much. I honestly think it's just because I already loved Psych so much and it's so similar in so many ways. I really do like it though.
Tracker - this show is super new and I like it so far. Something about the way it's filmed or the audio or acting is just super off though. I can't put my finger on exactly what's wrong but it just feels so weird. Other than that, I love the concept, it's completely unique from any other ones I've watched so far and I like it a lot. I'm excited to see where it goes.
Rizzoli and Isles - I like this one, but it just didn't grab me like a lot of the others. I love Moira so much though. Plus it really does have a lot of interesting plot lines.
NCIS - ok, this show is super old so you can imagine what that means content wise. There's quite a few jokes and comments that are straight up fucked and that's one of the big reasons it's low. The other reason is how downhill it went after Ziva left, I completely stopped watching after Bishop left too.
Limitless - concept was cool but the writing left a lot to be desired for and of course the fact that it got canceled. The main cop woman also felt really wishywashy as a character to me which is not great for a lead.

Note
ik it’s the last day to do it but i hope ur still taking wedding related requests!
i have 2 possible ones lol
first, Tom Wambsgans x Reader
It’s his second wedding and he’s incredibly nervous about round two of marriage. He invited Shiv, expecting her to not arrive, but ofc she did. (Kinda a loose concept but idk lol)
second, Greg Hirsch x Reader
He’s greg, but he’s still a Roy. So ofc the whole fam is invited to his over-the-top, subtle luxury (not subtle at all bc again, Roy family) wedding that he just let the wedding planner put together. Kinda just wondering HCs for how the Roy siblings behave themselves, the venue, greg being nervous etc lol. And whether his future wife/partner also works at waystar/atn or if they have a “normal” job, maybe a vet or something (totally not specific or anything)
regardless of if you take these requests, CONGRADUFREAKINGLATIONS!!!! I hope your wedding is absolutely wonderful 🫶
Thank you for this lovely message 🥰 and I love the two scenarios so thought i'd write a few headcanons for each of our boys 🥳
Tumblr media
Tom's Second Marriage X Reader Headcanons:
- It took Tom Wambsgans a long time to feel safe enough to open up to anybody after his divorce. A marriage founded on power imbalance and venom had left him scarred and scared, not sure if he was capable of sustaining healthy love without betrayal ripping it apart at the seams.
- And then he meets you. Kind and honest and straightforward and warm, and suddenly the thought of getting hurt again doesn't feel so bad. So he asks ATN's new weather girl out for dinner, and he doesn't try and pass it off as a work meeting, or make underhanded comments about being your boss, or any of the moves he might have pulled in the past. No, he's completely honest and tells you he's interested in getting to know you better, as a date, but he respects if it's too difficult a position because you work together. You can't imagine his relief when you accept his offer.
- Flash forward to a year of healthy communication, and supporting each other and building a solid foundation of trust that ensures your relationship could survive even the greatest quakes, and Tom would be back where he thought he'd never be again; down on one knee, holding a ring.
- Together you'd plan a small and intimate wedding, something close to your families, without any media coverage. Tom would lose sleep over whether or not to invite Shiv, until finally you tell him it's clear he needs to invite her to alleviate the guilt, assuming she wouldn't bother showing up.
- As the big days comes around, Tom waiting nervously at the top of the aisle, unable to contain his grin at the perfect summer day only you could have predicted, when suddenly a dark cloud shifts in front of the light in the shape of Shiv Roy. A cruel smirk is plastered to her face as she settles amongst his family, needlessly close to the front of the ceremony as the violins begin to pick up, signalling your arrival.
- As the two of you circulate the reception, overwhelmed with joy and well wishes on your perfect day, it would be you that took Tom's hand firmly in yours and dragged him over to address Shiv head on, genuinely excited to speak to a woman who had such an impact on his life. If Tom was caught off guard by her arrival, Shiv was flabbergasted by your genuine smile and friendly, straightforward tone as you thanked her for coming, and asked her about herself. She'd bluster about the amazing new guy she was getting very serious with, watching Tom closely to see him start to come unravelled, but instead all he'd be able to do is stare at you. His sweet, supportive, strong, intelligent bride, who sees the best in people but doesn't take their shit either. And he feels at peace, wishing Shiv all the best before leading you away to talk to his mother as she hands out glass after glass of their fancy wine, toasting to a marriage they all know is truly built to last.
Greg Hirsch x Reader Wedding Headcanons:
- Greg as a groom is absolutely hilarious to me, because it feels like something he has genuinely been dreaming of since he was a little boy. Yes he enjoyed his time as a disgusting brother, but meeting someone special, getting the chance to form a meaningful connection with someone other than Tom, and then having a giant party to show off how happy you two are, well than just feels like the best thing he could ever imagine.
- Working for a liberal online newspaper, you would have never imagined you'd be walking down the aisle towards the right hand man of the head of ATN news, but you know deep down Greg is not an unkind man, and being anything within his family is a daily struggle. So you love him for who he is, and accept him for who he's not, and know that his unwavering loyalty to you will continue to make him a better and better man as you spend more of your lives together.
- Despite being a very untalented public speaker, Greg will insist on writing and performing his own vows, a fifteen minute monologue about 'how dope you are' that he foolishly asked Kendall to co-author with him. Despite his generally cynical nature Kendall would be genuinely supportive of Greg's union, knowing how much joy and love a marriage can bring, and hoping his cousin doesn't repeat his mistakes.
- Roman would spend the wedding blatantly flirting with you in front of Greg to stir up trouble, but Greg has learned enough about Roman over the years not to be the least bit threatened, slipping a hundred dollar bill to the wedding planner at the last second to get his seat moved next to Gerri, a last gesture of kindness towards the strange little man, nothing in this world able to bring down his optimism today.
- Connor and Willa would be the life of the party, getting far too drunk and taking over the dance floor, getting to enjoy a much livier wedding than the one they ended up having, and being glad for a bit of fresh blood joining the Roy family, especially someone from outside their immediate social circle. Connor would insist on getting a gift outside the registry though, giving Greg an ornate antique sword that you actually kind of love and end up using to cut your cake that night.
- Oh Tom. He would be the worst kind of petty at your wedding. He's never liked you, for reasons he can't ever quite articulate but is clearly jealousy to everyone else, so seeing Greg publicly declare his love and commitment to you would have him turning into a complete bitch, backhanded complimenting everything about your day and trying to get in Greg's head every time you two have to part for a moment. Thankfully before Greg can get too rattled, Shiv would swoop in, sensing Tom's weakness and painting her affections as a way to make Greg jealous, which leaves Tom fawning over her all night long.
- Greg would be on the dance-floor until every other guest had gone home, gangly uncoordinated limbs wrapped around you for the whole night, clinging to the one person he trusts to actually have his best interests at heart, your loyal servant the rest of his happy life.

Digi Dynamic Shipping Game
Send me two names among the following 12 and I’ll write a short analysis post about them:
Tumblr media
Taichi Yagami | Yamato Ishida | Sora Takenouchi | Koushirou Izumi | Mimi Tachikawa | Jyou Kidou | Takeru Takaishi | Hikari Yagami | Daisuke Motomiya | Miyako Inoue | Iori Hida | Ken Ichijouji
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Whether canon provides input on them or not.
As I try my best to get myself out of writing/art block, I thought about one of the many relationship analysis posts that are still at the back of my queue - and thus we may start with our genius bug boys, shall we?
As I had already outlined before, their relationship may not be the most fleshed out compared to other older/younger Chosen Children pairs - but this wonderful moment in particular is, in my opinion, still enough for us to speculate on how their bond may develop. It's Senpai!Koushirou at his very best, taking the still very distraught Ken under his wing, reassuring and comforting him in his own ways - because these two have way more in common than just being smart boys with bug Digimon partners.
While their set-ups are being focused on in very different ways, their arcs are both defined by trying to be more casual, natural with the people close to them due to identity-and-family-related trauma. While Koushirou buried himself in his laptop and knowledge gathering to avoid thinking about himself and his potential whereabouts for being adopted, struggling with social interactions, Ken was dragged into the world of the dark ocean after the death of his brother, getting corrupted in the process and committing horrifying actions, thus feeling unworthy of being redeemed and befriended for a long, long time. One might argue that, if it wasn't for two certain goggle boys reaching their hands out to them, they may have never found the courage to become confident in their abilities, using their intellect for the good and the sake of their friends and families, letting their natural kindness shine through eventually...
And in the same vein, I feel like Koushirou, by the time of 02, had to become the person he is there first to be able to reach out to Ken himself, so Ken could move on to reach out to the others as well. Even if he may not have been consciously aware of it, he (besides Yamato, Takeru and Hikari) was probably among the people who could relate to Ken the most - and thus, treated him with kindness.
Unfortunately, we never really see them interact directly after that again, even though Koushirou did try his best to integrate Ken into the team despite everything he had done. So long story short - we at least know there is a peaceful, trusting and kind foundation between them.
Whether I think why and how they’d work.
In case you haven't noticed how I talked about them above, I would absolutely love for these two to be closer with each other. My assumption is that the creators of Digimon tried to avoid putting them together too blatantly, because they may be way too powerful in figuring out everything on their own. I also don't believe that there would be any kind of competitive spirit between these two - in fact, Ken has quite the tendency to play himself down and canonically confirms that "if Koushirou-san can't figure this out, how are we supposed to?", implying that he is also still looking up greatly to his senpai. I think they could be quite knowledge bombs due to their natural curiosity in different fields, with Koushirou being more accustomed to the technical and theoretical side of things, whereas Ken may have more knowledge outside of that. They're both the voices of reasons in their respective groups - and may also need a little time-out every now and then to settle down, enjoy some quiet time by themselves (and with each other) after being exposed to the shenanigans their friends come up with.
This may be more of a dub-only thing, but - I could actually imagine them having fun at quiz nights and despite being the smartest people in the room, would always be the least competitive about it (especially when Miyako and Daisuke are with them), because they could just talk about their gathered findings for hours without end. Nobody else could follow their train of thought at this point, but that's okay, because they just enjoy theorizing together.
Whether I’d prefer them as platonic or romantic ship.
Overall, I think they would work better on a platonic basis, mainly because they're both people who need other people with outgoing energy levels as complementary forces to pull them out of their shells as romantic partners. But again, I believe they could be amazing friends to each other, a safe haven so to speak.

So, I have this health issue, that if left untreated could cause infertility problems. I think it’s funny to imagine me saying that well… I don’t really care about children anyways, so infertility isn’t that big of a deal. Besides, treating it costs money…you know, playing it off like nothing.
And then any yanderes that want babies and a family freaking out over the possibility of me becoming infertile, a contrast to me acting like it doesn’t matter. Why do they care so much anyway??
(I do take care of myself though, don’t worry 👍)
I just like to imagine getting them to completely panic and be upset before forcing me to let them take care of me for the sake of our future relationship and family.
(Shy Anon)
Some itching to have a family someday are definitely going to zero in on the infertility... They'll save and splurge on every procedure they can get so that your genetic material goes towards your kids (because they will have kids with you, even if they have to adopt, but they'd really rather the kid be something the two of you made together).
They'd hold a doctor hostage if it meant getting some prescriptions, freezing your eggs, and treatment to help with your underlying condition.
The best possible outcome is you two conceiving, and carrying the child to term. Which means if other things have to be put on hold for this to happen, so be it!
No more work, it's distracting you from your birth exercises and kegals, and they don't want any stress to fuck up your already limited chances.
You can't have anything with caffeine or too much sugar, your body has to be in the best shape so it doesn't waste energy on things unbaby related. Even if you aren't pregnant, why force your liver to suffer when you're about to have someone who needs your body's full attention?

Felix Ravinstill Time Travel AU
I answered an ask a while back from @tumblingghosts about how I think a time traveling Felix AU would go, but I only covered what would happen if he was taken back to the year of the 10th Annual Hunger Games. Here, I will speculate a bit about what I think will happen if he went back further (backpacks, since you expressed interest, hope you don't mind the tag):
Felix wakes up at age 4 (going on 5), having just survived the bombing that killed his parents. (lots of time-travel manga/manwha choose to go back to a pivotal event or a situation where the character bumped their head to help explain sudden shifts in behavior. This seemed a good place to put him.)
After getting patched up, no one actually notices Felix is that different from his usual self. His cousins just knew his as their younger cousins and his great-uncle didn't know him that well.
Felix is quiet and confused. He asks a lot of questions to reorient himself to being back in time, but given he just survived a bombing, no one thinks it's that strange.
Until the war ends roughly 4 years later, he's just focused on making sure he survives the war again.
This time around, however, he tries and gets closer to his family members who in the last life were fairly distant from him, because of their baggage.
Given that Felix has the emotional understanding of an adult, this goes pretty well since he knows that when his cousins push him away, they're reacting in response to their own grief of having lost their families too.
To Felix's surprise, demanding more time with the President actually yields results, he kind of has a silent meltdown that getting all the attention he craved as a child could have been a simple as asking for it.
Overall, with the exception of the war going on, Felix's second childhood is actually weirdly happier and he's much more connected to his family members.
The attention that he's getting from the President does in turn, attract Gaul's attention
In the previous time travel scenario, it kind of started to develop into a Snow v. Felix rivalry. Uh, here? It's Gaul v. Felix. Gaul's beefing with an 8 (going on 9) year old by the time the Treaty of Treason is signed.
I like to imagine that without the Hunger Games being immediately in front of him, Felix has kind of wasn't concerned with them becoming a thing. He's still reeling that good communication was all that was needed to stop him from having a nearly nonexistent relationship with his family. Why didn't the older members try to communicate better with him once they had processed their grief a bit more?
He's so conflicted about his better relations with his family that he probably hasn't even put together that Coriolanus killed him yet :)
Don't worry once he starts going to school with Coriolanus and gets to thinking, he does start to realize that it's the best explanation for his very convenient accident. He can't know for sure, but he definitely will never fully trust Coriolanus again.
Back to the Hunger Games, after the 1st Games, Felix has the "oh, crap, those are kids!" moment as someone with an adult mind.
He starts getting sick just thinking about how this is going to happen every year and starts side-eyeing his great-uncle.
His cousins, Marius and Gnaeus, notice since they're closer to him in this timeline, and Felix decides to confide in them to test the waters. If they listen to him, then maybe they'll help him convince the president.
They're sympathetic to his view, but they point out that their family was killed by rebels, and wouldn't it be nice to get revenge?
After mulling their response over, he decides that convincing the Capitol will be hard with the war so fresh in their mind, but later on, they'll be more accustomed to it
while the Hunger Games were not popular by the 10th Games, there's no certainty that they would have died out immediately after them without Snow's interference. It could have gone a few more years before petering out, or found other gimmicks to jumpstart popularity. Besides, trying to get the Capitol to empathize with the District tributes gets harder with every Game. There will plenty of cognitive dissonance at work to help the Capitol justify their actions. After all, no one wants to look back and see the 23 children they slaughtered yearly.
I think Felix whom I have going into politics in his first life (he doesn't get far and only acts as a advisor/staff member) will understand that this is the time to do what politicians do best
He makes a deal with the devil. He goes puts on his best innocent child asking questions he doesn't know could get him into trouble face attempts to bargain with his great-uncle without his great-uncle knowing.
By this point, I think that it becomes clear to Felix that Pres. Maximinius Ravinstill sees him as a kind of stand in to the President's deceased brother, Felix's grandfather. I imagine that Felix's father was the one among his siblings who acted the closest to Pres. Ravinstill's brother.
Felix probably primes the conversation with "what was my grandfather like?" and "what was my father like?" before diving into the Games. At some point after the Games topic switch, Felix hits him with the "what would my grandfather thing?" at a pivotal moment.
Pres. Ravinstill isn't budging on wanting revenge though. Man has lost too much family for that, and I also can't imagine that Felix even as a former politician being ruthless enough to suggest the president just murder rebel adults from the Districts until he feels better
What happens is that Felix realizes that his great-uncle hasn't thought that far ahead with the Games. They were an emotional decision (probably pressured by Gaul but Felix doesn't know that).
Felix doesn't stop the Games. Felix aims lower, extracting a promise from a weary great-uncle. An emotional decision countering a previous one. He convinces Pres. Ravinstill to limit the Games. 10 years, seems like reasonable recompense for the District's uprising. That's 230 children.
This isn't a perfect solution, but Felix isn't a perfect person.
Gaul starts trying to bolster the Games' popularity and usefulness by any means necessary to hopefully overrule the president's promise to a child by making the Games useful as more than a form of revenge
Felix, I think would find unlikely allies within the President's Staff who I can't imagine were all into the child killing game that they have to market to the people. (very dark but I imagine that the Ravinstill Regime right after the war had a very high turnover rate on staff members)
By the 10th Games, I imagine that a few betting system in in place, but without the paired sponsorship system, it's not as successful. (Gaul is trying harder to market. I'm sure she could at least come up with betting. Maybe, it's less official than the system in tbosas)
The 10th Games might not have Academy mentors. Gaul might try something else, but honestly, I think it could be a nice parallel to keep them the same
In fact, I like to imagine that in canon the president rigged Felix's pick to be a low number to keep expectations on him low (he'd intuit that my canon timeline! Felix is very preoccupied with expectations). In this timeline, since Felix is more confident (it comes with being mentally a 35 year old man), he doesn't feel the need to rig Felix's tribute.
In canon, I imagine that Highbottom rigged Coriolanus' tribute selection so he got the District 12 girl (the supposed runt of the litter, you wouldn't be able to account for the specifics age or health, unless your Strabo Plinth and know a specific person because I'm a believer that the Marcus-Sejanus pair was fully rigged)
In this AU, Gaul has begun to despise Felix, but can't take it out on him directly. She rigs his tribute.
So, the stage is set, and at the Reaping, Felix Ravinstill is assigned Lucy Gray Baird as his tribute
This, again, got very long. Also I love that I wrote this all out and ended up setting up the start of a fic... I might never write it. Or if I do it will take me a while to get to it, so if anyone actually feels like taking a stab at this, it could be fun.
Also yes, sorry Dill, this means that you get Coriolanus as a mentor. I feel like Felix would try to look out for her too though. I imagine that he's trying to stop this Game since he's directly involved with it and has some anti-game support from the President's staff and probably Highbottom.

Types of Flooring as People
Laminate- cleanliness is next to godliness, always wearing some crisp new accessory, the spellcheck friend, keeps their toenails nice and short so they don't click together, will have handwipes and tissues in their bag, not a germaphobe but likes to be helpful and tidy, would never sneak out of the house without leaving a detailed itinerary for their parents, has a secret penchant for eating pencil erasers, and will say they are always there for you and yet put their phone on silent the minute they are sleepy.
Hardwood- always up for adventure, rough and tumble, rare to find in just any house, holds many secrets and never shares yours, loves to find a good pair of boots, would die to meet Indiana Jones IRL and does not acknowledge the reality that characters are fictional, finds the best in the simplest things, always resourceful, will hound you if they sense something is wrong, and very superstitious. (knock on wood!)
Tile- cold when you first meet them, brisk attitude, likes people with gray eyes, can usually be found reading in the bathroom at any given social gathering, is calculating your every move, will shatter you if you drop too much on them, hard to put down and even harder to replace once you've lost them, some people may say it's hard to be their friend but it's only because they expect the same loyalty and energy they would give someone who they truly love and admire, wears wire rimmed glasses or loves a good rainy day- maybe both.
Vinyl- crazy about records (obviously), loves vintage cameras and little pocketwatches, a little eccentric around the edges but really down to earth at heart, would drop it all to go thrifting, always has a devious shopping related sparkle in their eye, jumps to help someone in case they may be gifted with an iced coffee, has never been to a trampoline park bc they think that would be weird, very much hopes people think they are at least a little cool, wants to be THAT mysterious stranger you can never forget about, and hates when people underestimate the value of a good public library because oh boy, they are infatuated with the world.
Carpet- cozy, sleepy, unattainably cute, high maintenance, cries at the drop of a hat- will cry over spilled milk!- listens to a lot of lo-fi playlists and Alec Benjamin/Cavetown-eque music, has a lot of buddies but few who understand how much they truly are happier in a comfortable bed or sofa by the gentle sunlight where they can stretch out like a cat and sleep for eons, will be the first to fall in love with a stranger because they can't help but imagine a future with them, and has a signature sweater that they wear so they will be comfy always.
Concrete- works hard, impossible to crumble, will always have your back, versatile personality, easy to make up with after a fight, has some of the strongest family ties you'll ever see, always returns to their roots, if you make an impact on their lives they will leave one on you in a bigger way, probably always rocking out to a song they've created in their heads, dyed and heavy hair, stomps like a madman but is overall just a solid person, once they build their walls against you, good luck ever hurting them again.
Cork- sometimes an afterthought to their friends, super reliable though, always up for the worst of challenges, not afraid to face the truth, adaptable, a go getter, full of cheer and appetite for what others may not truly appreciate, very gets along very well with Concrete, is afraid of missing the moment and growing up too fast, dreams of a space of their own, naturally attracts interesting stories, has a unique and cheeky catchphrase, and never fails to leave the door open in silent hopes they will catch a big and cool bug.
Tag yourself!!
