1. How many works do you have on AO3?

I have 88 works in total, 31 of which are for Star Wars.

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

574,873 words.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Currently, I'm only writing for Star Wars. But I used to write for Arrow and Supergirl, and ASoIAF, Dark-Hunters and Chronicles of Nick are in standby. I'm waiting for right motivation to come back to any of the last 3.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I try my best, but sometimes I forget, and then it's been weeks and months since I got the comments that I'm embarrassed to reply them after so long. Even though, I think it's important that a writer let the reader/commenter that they appreciate it, even if it's with a simple "thank you" or an emoji. I know I'm being a hypocrite here since I fail to do what I preach, but it doesn't make it less true.

6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I think that would be Drifting, because it's kind of open ending, left to be interpreted, so it could end however the reader wants. Although, I left an author's note at the end saying what's my preferred ending, which always will be inclined to the happy side.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

High Above the Ground because is the happy ending i want for Commander Fox and Riyo Chuchi. They deserve only the best!

8. Do you get hate on your fic?

No, not really. I've gotten only 1 stupid message of someone criticizing a fic, but that was years ago when I still posted on FF dot net. The joke was on the reader because I moderated all the comments there so I just deleted it and nobody saw it but me. Honestly, I just laughed about it cuz their argument was just stupid.

9. Do you write smut?

I do, all kinds -from the most tame thing to the most perverted. But I used to wrote way more in my old fandoms, especially for Arrow. I think for Star Wars I've written just 1 or 2 smutty fics, and tamed at that.

10. Do you write crossovers?

I've tried a couple of occasions but never finished them. I'm not opposed to them obviously, but I do think the combination of fandoms has to be just right to work. Or at least, when it's me doing the writing.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Yes! Many, many years ago in the first fandom I ever wrote for. It was awful and hated it! You see, this was in the stone age of the internet when fandom specific sites abounded and not everyone had an account on FFnet yet (and Ao3 was not even a dream). The site I published on was split in 2 sections because the ships war in the fandom was bloody and ruthless, so to avoid the slaughter, I kept myself in my preferred side. But one day, a friend who read fic on both sides told me that someone stole my fics. Avoiding to get caught, the person who did it published them under a pen name that was almost exact to mine, she only added a period at the end, which could easily go unnoticed. Oh, and she interchanged characters names so it'd fit the other ship.

At first, my friend thought I had posted them but she knew I'd never write for that ship, like ever. In the end, it turned out that I wasn't the only one who had being plagiarized. Several people ON BOTH SIDES were. Thankfully, the person was caught and banned, but we almost burned the site down because of the whole shitshow.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

By me, yes, several. All into Spanish (my mother tongue). By others, not that I know of.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic?

Yes! A couple of times for different fandoms, and I loved it. I hope I'll do it again. The thing is that you need to find the right partner for it, or it can be a nightmare.

14. What‘s your all-time favourite ship?

I don't appreciate this question, let me tell you. It's hard to choose. But I think I have to go with Olicity. I love them still (even if the show ending ruined it for me). Close second would be Braime (and I'm glad that there's still hope for them on the books, because as usual the show fucked them so but sooooo bad)

And as Star Wars specific, I don't think anyone will be surprised if I say it's Kalluzeb, right 🤣 They're my babies and I adore them!

15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Anything for Arrow or Supergirl. I sworn off those fandoms after their respectively awful endings.

No promises, but there's still hope for all if my unfinished works for Star Wars 😅

16. What’s your writing strengths?

Coming up with ideas. So, so many ideas. All the time and I want to write them all.

17. What’s your writing weaknesses?

Finishing writing the above-mentioned ideas. I tend to splay myself too much when I'm writing, and it takes me forever to get to the portion I really want to write (usually the idea that sparked the whole writing process) and I lose steam. That's why I have so many unfinished WIPs. I wish they'd write themselves.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

It's ok if used sparingly. A word here, a phrase over there is fine, but if a wall of dialogue that the reader needs to scroll down to the notes or click on a tooltip to find out the meaning it's the worst!!! A better solution for a writer that really needs/wants to have a whole conversation in another language for plot reasons or whatever, then all they need to do is to say once that the characters are talking in the other language and put the dialogue in the same language they've been writing the rest of the narrative and in italic.

The characters who don't speak the language won't understand what's being said, but the reader will and their reading will be more pleasant and fluid.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

An Argentinian show called Floricienta. A modern retelling of Cinderella.

20. Favourite fic you’ve ever written?

I don't like this question either! All my fics are my babies! How do you want me to choose?!! There are so many I'm proud of. I guess I'll point the most recent one: Feed Me Poison, Fill me till I Drown I really like how this story is coming along. It's not done yet (what else is new? 😅) but what's coming is so so good!

Not shockingly tall but definitely passess as older than he is due to his height

Jacked for a teenager too due to his training

Him and Tim became instant besties and it didn't take long for them to start seeing eachother as brothers.Stephanie was more difficult but purely because Mathew was worried she was only trying to date Tim to hurt him and/or get at Batman

When Stephanie was Robin,that was when they became friends and he mourned her death almost as much as Tim did.He was VERY shocked when Gotham ressurected her and she showed up at Wayne Manor to greet him with a huge grin and a bear hug and he asked lots of questions through his tears of happiness

He came in when Summer was still (begrudingly) Sparks and was an influence on his current personality with his positivity.He made semi-regular apperances on Ember's Ashes and is considered an honorary Superfam member by Supergirls

Was the one who made Cass discover goth subculture and he thinks she's literally the coolest person ever(and i mean,yeah,he right).She thinks pretty positively of him in turn

Babs was the one to come up with the 'Batboy' name,as a joke but Mathew loved it so much that it stuck

Was lowkey intimidated by Jason pre-Rhato but went to join him after a fight with Bruce that really shook him and now they're eachother's favorite brothers along with Duke

His love interest is Jennifer Williams,the first Batgal and third Nightwing.She's black,the same age as him,a bi demigirl and autistic!!Their ship name is Jennibat and Jennifer's a very bubbly and kind but headstrong and snarky person who's interest are anything pastel,video games,literature and legos!She's adoptive daughter of a black lesbian couple who run a library and met Mathew as Batboy when she saved his life and the next day as Mathew Wayne when he went pick up a book for a school project.Since Jennifer is middle class,they go to different schools

Eventually,she gets so entangled in the Batfam that Dick takes her under his (Night)wing and gave her her title as a reference to how much she reminded him of Mathew.No official teams for her until Rhato but she has semi-official partners in Summer and Mathew and has had several teamups with the Wonderfam

The Flash

Yup, I got dragged to see this movie. It’s the best comedy of 1994!

-The opening scene was fine, but it set up the rollercoaster of tonal shifts we were about to jump on. I admit I laughed during the baby shower scene. Barry not being able to touch the people he saves seems like a new handwavy addition so they wouldn’t just speed to, say, Russia.

-Affleck in the Batsuit looks like Dark Knight Returns Batman, especially his face. It didn’t look good at all. Another laugh when WW showed up with that epic musical sting out of nowhere.

-There is no fucking way that Iris West would ever interact with Barry after him schizoing in front of her every single second. 

-The time travel itself was pretty cool, until they used CGI akin to Jimmy Neutron to show the ‘waves of time’ or whatever. Also it looked so much like the cosmic treadmill, you might as well have used it. Made totally not stolen from Flash season 3 stand out even more when he pushed Barry off the not!Treadmill.

-Whoever decided to have Ezra Miller play a dual role should be fired, shot and set on fire in that order. Barry Allen is the most annoying character to ‘grace’ the screen since Jar Jar, and no, film,  outright saying Barry is annoying doesn’t help. It just makes it worse.

-Barry and Barry have a scene in which Barry comes to the shocking conclusion that nobody of the League is around to stop Zod... Even though during MoS nobody was active during that time aside from Batman. They retcon Barry into the same trailer scene Bruce was in, which felt like I was finally watching a comic book. Pointless retcons!  That shows that Barry tried to save a kid and a dad, but failed to save the dad. A nice waste of time because you do see them later, they literally suffer the same fate. Even worse, Barry wasn’t even there this time!

-The usual ‘this is how OUR time travel works’ scene was generic, but spaghetti metaphor was at least an interesting take. Also autism be damned, Bruce can cook a good pasta

-While I usually like Michael Keaton, it seemed like he was phoning it in. He said ‘I’m Batman’ like an old person welcoming you to Target. He looks so bored

-In a later scene he says “You wanna get nuts? Let’s go nuts” in the same bored tone, shot the exact same way and the movie gives a pause for fucking applause. Beyond embarrassing. They also had Batman shield others from bullets with his cape like 5 times minimum and every time he made this face.

-Now the 4 people who follow me and read this will say ‘of course you’d say that’, but Supergirl is the only good part in this fucking shitshow. Rushed as hell, yes, but good. She took off because mankind imprisoned her so mankind bad, and immediately went back because Barry saved her in the span of a literal minute. Could’ve been explored better though. One of the Barry acts like a 4 year old could’ve been cut for Kara coming to terms with the fact that Kal-El isnt out there. Or just adjusting to freedom. Instead she immediately fights Zod, because the movie needs to (They do give her a reason, but only after she agreed to help to stop Zod)

-The reason being, yet another fucking retcon, on this Spaghetti strand Kara is the one with the Birthing Matrix, and Zod killed infant Clark to discover this. I genuinely dont get this change. It’d be more interesting if Clark died on arrival and the matrix was destroyed. So Zod is just Terraforming the Earth as a fuck you to Jor-El. 

-Just now realising that Zod came to Earth because Clark/Lois activated a signal, but without Clark how the fuck did he know where Kara even was?

-Final fight scene had tonal whiplash every five fucking seconds, I kind of tuned out until Kara and Bruce died. Barry and Spaghetti-Barry go back in time, it doesn’t work. OG!Barry finally learns the lesson that CW Flash never fucking learned about time travel, but Spaghetti!Barry keeps going until we get a literal crisis on infinite Earths type shit with Earths clashing into each other. To nobody’s surprise, Spaghetti!Barry is not!Savitar. Well to everyone’s surprise probably since I forgot he existed. They have the gall to say Spaghetti!Barry created himself, using OG!Barry as a way to do so.

-This is after an embarrassing amount of ‘REMEMBER THIS’ zooming in on those other Earths, with DC using the corpse of Christopher Reeves as nostalgia bait. Classy. 

-At least Nic Cage got to play Superman, good on him. Sad he still had to fight that giant spider. Telling that they CGI’d Reeve in, but Adam West only gets an audio clip

-A delicious middle finger to CW because the only reference to that we saw was Zoom-as-Jay-Garrick also known as the moment CW Flash went to shit.

-Anyway the movie ends with a woman hugging a bloody, dirty, crying man who is clearly wearing stolen clothes, then crying homeless man proceeds to steal her can of tomatoes. This is played with sad music and slo-mo. I genuinely haven’t laughed that hard in the theater in years.

-The movie ends with George Clooney as Batman, instead of giving me more Sasha Supergirl. Which they should’ve done. With Henry no longer playing Clark, why not give us Supergirl.

Numbers for movies dont mean shit, but this movie is a 3/10 and that generous. I laughed along with the movie the same amount of times I laughed at it, so that is a win? The people I went with could not name a single thing that they liked. Not a single fucking thing. Reportedly Aquaman is going to be worse. I cant wait.

Lets hope James Gunn turns this around. Not holding my breath

Hi, Sango! I just finished going through the zine omnibus (very late I know but life happened) and it made me realize just how much I enjoyed watching Supergirl because of you and a lot of artists and writers in the fandom. I dearly miss the show. It made me learn new things about myself, about photoshop, and led me to people like you. Now that it's over and there's no more new content, people would move on to newer things but it was fun while it lasted and I will look back on it fondly. I guess this is just a long winded way of saying thanks for being part of the zine and the fandom in general. ❤️

I miss them too, but there will always be content. Maybe not as much as there used to be but it‘ll always be around! It was a shitshow but it was a shitshow that dragged me through 6 partly very shitty years ndkdihl

i prefer riverdale to breaking bad not because its a better show but because its such a shitshow of an experience that i can't help but adore it for its stupidity.

its not even mediocre. like it is so gloriously bad that i can't see it as anything but one of the greatest most enjoyable tv shows of all time.

so much time, effort and imagination goes into a show that is so badly written and so badly paced that it isn't anything but beautiful.

even by cw standards, the amount of planning and effort that goes into something so completely dogshit is astounding.

shows like the flash or supergirl usually just become tax right-offs with the vfx looking like something twelve year old me cooked up in after-effects and the aesthetics boiled down to the visual equviolent of a wet tissue paper or just straight-up power rangers b-roll.

but with riverdale... i haven't seen a lack of quality in the acting or set design or direction....

its just written and paced so shittly and the plot lines are fucking ALL OVER THE DAMN PLACE with very rare explanations for any of the most baffling shit imaginable?

why does everybody suddenly have super powers? because an alternate dimension jughead contacted betty to warn her about an explosion set by the evil father of her boyfriend's ex girlfriend and the inter-dimensional phone call lead to an event where magic from the dimension of the other jughead, rivervale, leaked into the dimension of riverdale which also transported the series' antagonist for that season, an immortal warlock who made a deal with the devil in the 17th century, as well as giving powers to the main cast along with the literal fucking afterlife that just so happens to look like the comics this shitshow of a show is based on from the 1950s.

i’m not 100% sure who you mean by ‘other woman’, so i’ll give you a quick run-down on both

kara zor-el:

aka kara danvers, she was 13 when krypton exploded, sent to earth to protect her baby cousin, kal-el. he made it to earth safely and was raised by the kents, became superman. kara’s pod was knocked off-course and sent to the Phantom Zone, a place that is vast nothingness where time does not pass. she was there for 24 years before making it to earth, still aged 13, while kal-el had grown up. he was unable/unwilling to take care of her, and left her with eliza, jeremiah and alex danvers, who raised her. she worked as cat grant’s assistant in season 1, promoted to journalist at catco media in season 2.

lena luthor:

younger sister of lex luthor, daughter and step-daughter of lionel and lillian luthor, respectively. her biological mother drowned when she was 4, prompting her father to take charge of her. she wants to make a name for herself aside from her family’s rather bad one, notoriously known for being alien haters. but most people treat her unfairly, given all of her positive intentions and accomplishments. ceo of l-corp, formerly luthor-corp, she works to further the wellbeing of humanity.

why people ship them:

lena made an observation the day after she met kara, saying she thought kara was a journalist; kara, having been ruminating on a career, immediately decided to take up journalism.

after kara wrote a positive article on her, lena filled kara’s office with flowers — “overflowing” it.

after making a difficult decision to save supergirl’s life that resulted in the death of her ex, lena confessed to kara that she was having negative feelings that she feared; kara wrapped her arms around her and promised to always be there for her and never leave her.

weeks after meeting her, lena gave orders to her assistant that kara was to be let into her office “right away, whenever possible”.

when confronted with a detective who wanted to (and did) arrest her, lena asked for kara to stay with her; kara, as supergirl, never once doubted lena’s innocence and worked tirelessly to prove it (and did!).

after cat grant, ceo of catco, steps down and decides to sell it, lena purchases it, otherwise kara would’ve lost her job (though the reason she gave was pissing off a mutual annoyance of theirs); after their falling out, lena sells catco to an old friend of hers.

after morgan edge tries to kill lena by crashing a plane that she is on (in the process of saving her, supergirl refuses to let lena’s hand go), she abandons him on a shipping container in the middle of the ocean.

morgan edge also tried to kill lena by poisoning her coffee; kara risks her identity by flying lena to the deo (department of extra-normal operations) dressed as kara danvers, not supergirl.

supergirl gives lena a watch with a button on it that, when pressed, emits a sound at a frequency that only kryptonians can hear. these watches are usually reserved for family members and close friends of the supers.

whenever supergirl saves lena, she holds her in a bridal carry, with lena’s arms wrapped around her neck, a parallel of kal-el/superman and his wife, lois lane.

(this isn’t really a reason but lois and lena share many similarities, the most apparent of which [to me anyway] is that they are both brunettes with the initials LL)

their dynamic & their story:

their relationship starts tentatively, but blossoms quickly despite lena’s family and kara’s friends scepticism about lena’s intentions.

they have regular lunch dates, text each other (heart emojis included), can be seen hugging and swaying in place. they comfort each other, are fiercely protective of one another, not unlike a couple.

after kara’s identity is revealed to lena by her brother in the season 4 finale, their relationship deteriorates in the stereotypical way a romantic one does; they’re both incredibly sad, stare longingly at photos of them together, pull away from one another, lash out.

an alien called mxyzptlk gives kara the chance to go back in time and view alternate realities in which she had told lena her secret at various other points in time, which she took him up on almost immediately.

after an ultimatum and an agonizingly long period of time, lena apologises to kara in the penultimate episode of season five and they start to rebuild their relationship.

in the season five finale, lena puts herself in front of a kryptonite dagger aimed at an immobile and unaware supergirl, offering her life for kara’s.

in the season six premiere, as kara prepares to sacrifice herself at the hands of lex luthor, lena refuses to let her, even going so far as to anticipate her brother’s actions, programming the Lena Luthor Protocol into the Fortress of Solitude, a robot with a yellow sun emulator that attaches itself to the crest of the house of el that sits upon kara’s chest. 

lena was the last person kara said goodbye to before she fought with lex, a fight she did not believe she would survive.

after kara is sent to the phantom zone by lex, lena implores alex to tell her girlfriend, kelly, about kara’s secret identity, in the process implying that kara is her person, the same way that kelly is alex’s. (— @lesbianlenas)

Supergirl is a shitshow

supergirl season 1 was amazing that is a fact, ti had amazing relationships between female characters it had great background character s and story lines that did not completely revolve around a guy  *mon-el*

Season 2 though that was when it started to fall apart, first they broke up a healthy interracial couple *Karolsen* they had built it up during season 1 and even though it did have its problems it was always handled in a healthy manor rather than the way they shower romance in season 2 when Monn-el would get mad and then get forgiven with out working through the issue completely  he would promise to listen to her and then proceed to act the same as he had before

Season 2 started out by introducing to us some great characters like Lena luthor and a few episodes later Maggie Sawyer but neither of those characters got the true focus  Kara was, that was until they had Mon-el wake up then he became the focus of the episode he became the focus of the season rather than having it focus on Kara’s character growth we were forced to watch mon-el’s character growth, There was no real growth in Kara that season.  

It became Kara’s job to make Mon-el a decent person, she made him change while dating him, while a better course of action would have been for him to be a good person before dating her. Even the episodes like medusa and others that had been set up to focus on Lena and Kara’s parents and their hand in the virus it ended up focusing on mon-el at the end

We saw  an unnecessary amount of screen time taken up by Mon-el even in episodes that were supposed to have more Sanvers Mon-el and Kara too up that time, they chose to use sanvers as a way to prop up Karamel rather than to have it bee an amazing lgbt ship that did not need to be compared to the straight ship on the show

Everyone seemed to forget that the hero of the show was Kara, it became the Mon-e show even at the end when they sent him off it ended not talking about friendship or Kara’s growth or her becoming a better hero it was about how they saw mon-el as a hero and how he was everything to Kara (I;m not saying that she had no right to feel sad she completely did) they decided to end with kara alone rather than have her with family and friends in season 2 they completely forgot about w what el myrah means STRONGER TOGETHER

the whole season alienated Kara from her family and her friends it left her with very few people who were consistently with her, James and Winn were being the guardian duo and Alex was ooc forgetting about her sister and instead focusing more on her relationship ( not saying that sanvers is not important it is extremely important) Mon-el became the only person who’s opinion seemed to matter at many times , they turned the episode which should have been focused completely on the danvers sisters into having mon el be the hero make him be the one to realize Jerimiah was working with cadmus

supergirl became the mon-el show and the mon-el show was a shitshow that did not have any character growth except for Mon-els it forgot about the arcs for the other characters anad focused o karamel more than anythinig else the main plot was romance in an action show where the main plot should have been the big villain  EVEN THE BIG VILLAIN WAS NOT KARA’S VILLAIN NO IT WAS MON-ELS VILLAIN  it revolved around Mon-el and his importance not spergirl or any other characters

we opened on season 3 and it was 6 months after when Mon-el had left the very first seen we saw was a karamel scene and then we see alura after that the episode goes on to be about Kara missing Mon-el it focuses on how after he left she apparently lost all reason to be herself to be anything but supergirl which she said in season 1 is not who she is it is just a costume that she puts on to help people to save lives and she loves that but it is not her. EVEN WHEN HE WASN’T THERE HE WAS A FOCUS OF ATTENTION it was not focused on how the city was recovering or how their friendship had  grown but it was focused on Mon-el going away

Honestly, I can't explain how much this fandom means to me and how it changed my life, but I'll try.

I realized my sexuality thanks to this show and this fandom, Alex's coming out put feelings into words and it moved me to think about my own feelings and who I am, what makes me happy. This fandom's honest, at times heartbreaking at other times carefree depictions of nonbinary, gender-nonconforming, masculine, and trans Kara, lead to me questioning my own gender identity and coming out of it still a little unsure but a lot happier.

I also met amazing people thanks to this fandom, like the extraordinary El @thebreakfastgod who I don't talk to as often as I would like but I now spam on Snapchat semi-regularly, and many other spectacular creators who I maybe don't talk to cuz I'm a shy bitch but who I follow and am grateful for all the amazing art and stories they created and still create.

So thank you to everyone in this fandom who was on this journey with me even if you didn't know.

It might have been a disaster show but this dumpster fire sure did help us create some good memories, huh?

This is an end of an era but don't worry I don't intend to stop posting supercorp trash any time soon.
