was thinking abt abt an au concept rolling around in my mind lately! teeeheee! wrote this on impulse in discord last night so nottt the best but. still wanted to post it here!

(You dont know when it happened.) (You were yelling for so long it all kind of blurred together.) (Your throat burned painfully. but you still yelled. yelled about what you lost what was taken from you. all while your hands grasped tighter around your copy's neck) (Eventually. You took a moment to breath. Your eyes burned, youre sure if you could cry. thats what you'd be doing.) (You stare down below you. Siffrin had gone still. His eyes glazed over.) (You blink, loosening your hands around his throat) "Stardust…?

(…) (Nothing. He was still.) "Stardust. Stardust. Siffrin. What are you doing. This isnt.." (You already know. don't you. You don't even bother to check.) (Isnt this.. what you wanted? You said it yourself not too long earlier. Didn't you?) (So why doesnt it feel good.) (Why do you feel guilt burrowing its way under your skin more and more the longer you stare.)

(Youre not sure how long you sit there. Staring at his body blankly. Feeling it slowly, slowly start to become colder under your hands.) (Eventually. You hear voices coming near.) "Siiiiifff, you still over here? It's been a bit. Cmon-" (You tune out the rest of the voices. All of them.) (You hide yourself quickly. Just as you always did.) (Always the coward, arent you?)

(Of course.. hiding behind the favor tree's leaves does little to cover the screams of the party when they discover what you left behind.)

I want so badly to rant about the three entire aus I made for CCCC, but all three rely entirely on changes to what happens during the Juno Incident, which I have also changed pretty drastically from common fanon and ughhhh.

Doesn't help that I never made ref sheets or explanations on how my interpretation of HMS are other than that one post for Whole/Me. Or that I'm a fanfic writer in university.

ANYWAYS all that is to say is that once I finally write my version of the Juno Incident (rite of passage in this fandom I swear), please welcome:

The Wild Hunt AU, the Supernova AU, and the Skyfall AU

Variants that occur out of a single change to the Juno Incident, and all exploring how incredibly toxic HMS can be if given power over the other two and the weird dynamic of simultaneously loving and hating someone.

Summary: What happens when you lose your superpowers (and your job) (and your house!) but are still left with a pair of dragon wings? You move in with your former enemy and secret crush, of course.

I genuinely felt like I won the lottery when I managed to snatch @pato-roldnart's amazing art for the @carryon-reverse-bang! Their Simon and Baz are just soooo perfect and lovely and take my breath away. I mean, just look at Simon's bum in that fantastic art piece! 🍑💙 It's been an absolutely blast working with Pato on this fic. Thank you, Patito!

Phantom Zone AU

According to DCU canon Jon gets aged up by a few years due to getting stuck in the time stream or something. What if instead he got stuck in the Ghost Zone a few years in the past. He can’t just leave through the Fenton portal because there would be two of him and create a timeline disturbance. While he waits for the timelines to a line or find the portal that set him there in the first place he becomes friends with Danny. Due to him getting set in the past he is around the same age as Danny. He can’t leave the Realms without messing with the time stream so he can’t help with the GIW, Fentons, or ghost attacks but he does what he can to help. Whether it be preventing ghosts from leaving the Realms or helping Danny with his duties in the realms such as the Time Police or royal duties. He also swears that once he rejoins the Living Realms he will do something about the Anti-Ecto Acts.
