Ahh I can finally share this with you guys.

I commissioned @ollisid a couple of months ago and not only did they do a beautiful job, it was also one of the most amazing processes I’ve ever been through.

They were so kind, and worked with me not only to bring my vision to life but with payments as well(June rocked my bank account horribly)

10/10 would, and will, be purchasing more art from them.

So this piece is really personal-probably the closest I’ll ever get to a face reveal on here lol! Also an inspo pic for my fic The Sweetest Sylaung which I will link below.

And here, we've got a Merthur fic, by PrincessMariaPhilipper, in which Merlin and Arthur have been by each other's side for a decade and Arthur slowly comes to realise his feelings, while Merlin becomes great at carving wooden objects and finds his peace of mind in it; a peace of mind soon forgotten, as the Lady of the Lake tries to destroy Arthur and Albion.

When I see someone posting their AO3 fic on Tumblr, I don’t just tap the heart and scroll on. Nah. I do my best (about 92% of the time, not even kidding) to actually click through (shoutout to those handy-dandy links) and drop a kudos, too 😅

Totally normal, right?

Except — turns out, what I thought was just basic reader/writer etiquette… apparently isn’t. And I find that baffling.

Believe it or not, we still don’t have a “note to kudos” system in place. And wow, do we wish we did. Notes are great, but they don’t count on AO3.

Just something to think about.
