She was exiled to Omega city fifteen years ago for altering her tech in illegal ways to gain advantage over other citizens, in other words she was a hacker, who found out too much about some powerful people and depending on who you talk to, threatened to expose the corruption, or blackmailed them for power and knowledge. The kind of knowledge that could get you really high, for a price. Some say she got out just before they could arrest her, others say she immigrated peacefully. Knowing her, I’m sure they were glad to be rid of her. She was trouble in-fuckin-carnate. She was born with the words ‘why not’ tattoo’d to the insides of her eyelids. Her curiosity bordered on madness. She might have been born into a perfect life with endless potential, and yet, she wanted more. She wanted to open all the doors that were closed to her. She didn’t want to go along, to get along. Telling her no, was like issuing her a fucking challenge.

She understood tech, just knew it somehow, knew how it worked on a deeper level. She’d could turn a toaster into a laser pistol. And she had connections, people higher up, people who could get the good shit. Techdrugs. Mood enhancers to stimulants, all the shit you need to jack up and come down. Tech that would make your mind fast enough to get higher, to get to places simpler minds can’t comprehend. Drugs that, for all intensive purposes, allowed you to talk to gods. To be a god, for a short while. Fanatics say she is touched by Onesol, the haunted, the ghost that lives in the interwebs. Their voodoo-technogod mumbo jumbo is nothing I ever bought into, but there was something to be said about her innate ability to get you what you need, and to be there when you need her.

She loved The Elbow and it’s people. She was where she wanted to be. She had what people wanted and was smart enough to play along with the local crime syndicate. She was here for a good time, not a long time and lived her life chasing every tangent and whim her mind could think up. We’d get drunk together and hold up a VR poker match between some well to do Founders, dressed as cowboys from the ol’west. Or go to a concert tripping balls and see if we could hack into the visuals, replace the backup dancers with big floppy penises. Yeah, we were a wild pair, bored and high on our own power. I love that crazy bitch.

Tony Stark is trying to handle all the problems with becoming a superhero and dealing with all these villains great and small. It doesn’t help that just as he’s getting used to being an Avenger, the whole group falls apart in the worst way. In the midst of tackling all this, the Fates decides to throw another thing his way and he wakes up with a whole new set of powers with no idea where he got them from. Also, his TV seems to be trying to engage him in a conversation.

Tony Stark is the new God of Tech.
