one of my favorite parts of the day is emerging from my nest of blankets outside in the woods & blearily stumbling over to let the dogs out of the cabin that they live in but i don't & watching them sprint around the farm together getting caught up on all the smells that happened overnight

sometimes when you’re a writer you go a solid year with no thoughts, head empty, and then suddenly a fully formed idea falls out of the fucking sky and directly into your brain and you just have to scramble for a pen to get it all down somewhere cause plot beats are falling into place faster than you can jot down the bullet points, and you just have to live like that

Had to apply for a visa. The experience was atrocious. It took me an entire bloody hour to find the office, all THREE of the addresses listed online were wrong. Their answering machine told me they were on holiday and weren’t open. All I can think about was Kunikida trying to go through the same process

It’s a government website. They have funding. PLEASE IM BEGGING THEM TO GET THE INFO RIGHT. I’ve legit thought I wouldn’t encounter something worse than my university website. I was deeply, factually wrong.

but still — his attention is now brought to the existence of a battle cafe, &, well, who would satoshi be if he didn't beeline for it upon entry into the city. it'll keep him warmed up for tuesday. ( & he can always use the pokécenter's backyard field for any extra training. )
