if kripke wanted to actually serve cunt he should have followed through on the plan for dean to kill john. in this version, dean kills john bc john was going to kill sam. john should have stuck around as a ghost haunting dean until after 3x10 “i dont deserve what he put on me and i don’t deserve to go to hell.” after that, dean salts and burns john’s jacket.

I hope my ask wasn’t what made you reblog your post about your feelings of TS associated, I really didn’t mean any harm. It was just a visual connection, Red was my favorite concert and The Lucky One video is so interesting. Then thinking of it with the context of SOHAE made me think about the real life negative side of being a celebrity and how your version of Annabeth would deal with it. I wasn’t trying to push that SOHAE Annabeth was like Taylor at all or expect anything of merging Taylor’s era with Annabeth, I’m really sorry if I made it seem that way. I just wanted to start a conversation and explain how I got to that question. I’m sincerely sorry.

i completely understand that you meant no harm which is why i just re-reblogged my post (to my side account, not my main) and didn't start like a fight about it in response and fully intended to leave it in my inbox either indefinitely or until my brain spawns an at all interesting response not born from the brain that is hangry, pmsing, and just getting out of a shitty chat with grubhub customer service.

the threads about the complexity of celebrity life are not ideas that i wouldn't entertain at all but SOHAE (the story, not the AU as a whole) is first and foremost a romance story about Percy and Annabeth getting together. Some aspects of that are touched on briefly but are mostly devices to push the relationship forward. I've said a few times that I try to write a very focused narrative and so most of the time I'm not even thinking about that aspect and it's the same reason why most of the songs on the playlist are romance songs and not some of the more meta-textual stuff that have been put out (save for some of the earlier songs Blackjack uses). if it comes up at all it's gonna be b-plot/sequel material.

truthfully i want people to be able to entertain these non-romantic ideas for SOHAE-verse and share these thoughts. i think i just feel weirdly pressured to have a positive or interesting response when i get asks about it (which is hard to do for meta-textual celeb stuff when i'm so focused on the story of SOHAE), but i also dont want people to feel discouraged from sending their own ideas in. it's kind of a weird tightrope to walk and i think getting an ask that starts with 'i know you don't really like this but here it is anyways' just happened to fall on the wrong side of that line.

ordinarily i would just tag with 'sohae headfanons' with no comment but that also felt to me like i was softening the boundaries i had set which isn't a precedent i want to create. if i'm being honest i've been incredibly lenient on tumblr. if this were tiktok things would get deleted and people would get blocked without second thought bc tiktok doesn't spawn a kind, interactive, engaged audience the way tumblr does.

hrrrrrrrr i dont want to think about this. none WIP. i have three chaptered WIPs i absolutely have to finish, and i WILL.

15. What are your writing strengths?

Discipline - almost no off days. A strong sense for what is or isn’t “working” and why, and the patience to try multiple angles of attack on the same idea/scene. I like my characterization a lot - especially Kaiba-boy. Having fun when I write, even when it’s frustrating - that way it never gets so frustrating I quit. 

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

PLOTTING LOL..... also I’ve been trying lately to not be so decorative with my prose and leave some moments simply as they are, undecorated, unadorned. Not everything needs a really sexy turn of phrase or beautification through metaphor; some things just need to be.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

yes, if the plot or the story calls for it!! I have an ancient trustship fic where kaiba and isis switch between four different languages until she corners him using ancient Egyptian, which he can understand but does not speak.

i waffled on this for a few minutes because i like everything i’ve written, but it’s “some beast will find you by name.” it’s rough in some parts chapter 6 i am looking at you but it was also the first fic i published after four years of not posting a single word, and i love the whole thing for what it is! when it slaps, it slaps!!!

hey from one nd person to another the comic where fm gordon says a slur seems kind of in poor taste. ik ur not intentionally making light of it and tht occurring in fm should be criticized but while you dont make it out to be a good thing making jokes about it and calling him a "slurboy" is kind of questionable? it makes it seem more like a plotpoint and angst rather than the creator of fm genuinely fucking up in the past (and having moved on from it)! i think exploring fm coming to terms with being nd is a good idea but this isnt the best way to do it. if you want me to explain my point more lmk if/when u post this and i will! someone already made a post abt it but it was kinda strongly worded and i wanted to approach you more calmly because i genuinely dont want to call you out or start drama or anything ;-;

first off thank you for being civil and patient with me i appreciate this ask a lot- also this got long- im not in a flying rage or anything when i bold or emphasis text, i just needed it also for my own readability and since im not the best at wording- hopefully this hellsite works and my response is under the cut

i would like to know how is it in poor taste when freemind explicitly gets clocked at the very end for saying it. the entire point of the comic was to show that saying the r slur has existed in his source and is bad

im not sure how much more direct i can get, with the disclaimer/warning list growing longer and longer and out there for a huge sign that says “this au can get dark as fuck and these subject matters are treated seriously/not something to mess around with.” Like yes, there are some jokes in the asks and other comics, but that specific comic is not supposed to be “haha thats funny”. it has a serious tone using a rough sketch style bc i was super tired and wanted to vent

was it just the direct reference to it that just made people uncomfortable? because thats 100% understandable, and i made sure i tagged it appropriately (although admittedly, a little bit late since i thought the filter would catch at least the main thing)

i think what some people somehow got from it is “exploring sensitive content = endorsing said content” which! that is not the intent! i absolutely do not want people saying that word! I don’t want people thinking that is any way okay for this character to say

its more of a damned if i do address it, damned if i dont.

if it never comes up, people are gonna assume that ‘oh this character says slurs and is shit, surely the creator or fan-creator MUST be okay with it and woobifies freemind and absolves him of any mistakes’ or something like that. no. this asshole has an arc and i want to do it right. its serious and i think it shouldn’t be shoved under the rug

and people just. dont want to read for context for whatever reason. theyll start watching it and get taken aback by the slur and start blaming me ‘hey you never warned for this’ when very early on i keep mentioning over and over ‘you dont have to watch it if you dont want to! This has slurs and 2000s internet brand humor/style’ You really dont, I’m not forcing you to watch it- Literally all you need to know is either canon half life or hl/vrai. thats it. fm mostly follows hl1 with very slight changes.

so i had to make something that:

1. warns people who arent aware and dont want to go through my asks or about/warning pages (for whatever reason) and just want to see the art

2. also NOT downplay freemind’s canon assholery. listen, i kinda despise writing mean and cruel characters, theyre hard to do, and a lot of people get shit for doing it wrong or people going “character = author”

i’ve also considered leaving the bubbles blank, but then people could fill it with whatever they want, then blame me for being vague. or they’d fill it in with a different kind of slur that freemind has never used, even if he MIGHT be the type to do that. I needed to explicitly mention that it is ableist slur. There are shitty racist and other problematic jokes, but never those kinds of extreme racial slurs to my knowledge.

Although I do see your point that maybe joking about it outside of the serious stuff might not be the best route. The slurboy jokes are getting stale, and I will try a better way to remind people.

The thing that gets to me is that it feels people are more than ready to defend either Ross Scott or Gordon Freeman the fictonal character himself. I don’t??? really care for Ross Scott, so I don’t know if he’s ever brought it up specifically. I’m not really calling him out or cancelling him. Idc for some white man’s feelings, im only bringing the timeframe of That era and reworking it to fit in This current era.

And I hate to break it to people: Gordon Freeman is a blank slate character, you can project whatever the hell you want on him as long as it’s not freakshit illegal garbage. The machinimas (fm, hl/vrai) do have SOME characterization that I want to nail down. It fucking sucks when characters are ooc, and I’m trying not to do that, even if it means sacrificing some comfort. But still mostly staying in my comfort zone if that makes sense

ok here’s an AU i actually have shit planned out for (and some chapters written) lmaooo it’s a momoi/riko howl AU!! riko = sophie + momoi = howl is rlly fun to write lol. also aomine is calcifer bc let’s be real that tiny fire demon was basically just demon!aomine. the chapter titles in this one are gold tbh i’m really proud of them -- examples are, “Do YOU Want A Charming Stranger To Sweep You Off Your Feet? [Not Clickbait]” and “Riko Aida Presents - Being Old Sucks, Part 1/? (Also, There's A Demon But That’s Not Important)”.

tiny snippet: 

Riko could feel the stirrings of heat in her cheeks as Satsuki pressed against her, arm laying on her hand. 

“Let me,” she said sweetly. Dazed, Riko did so, moving aside so Satsuki had better access to the food. 

“Hand me a couple of eggs and some more bacon, please,” Satsuki instructed. Riko complied, doing her best to keep her composure. This was the wicked wizard Satsuki, not just any pretty girl - she had to be on her guard. 

Satsuki cooked much the same way Riko did, planting a few doubts in the now-aged girl’s mind. Eggshells in the eggs, blackened bacon… perhaps her cooking really was bad.

Then again, from what she’d seen of Junpei, he did have a tendency to exaggerate.

yes its an aomine-kuroko roleswap yes i like torturing myself because it comes w/the bonus of inflicting this upon my readers. it’s my first multichapter, and like ewbts it’s also half posted and then i realised how shittily i’d written it so i started rewriting smh. the only redeemable bit about v1 is the summary bc it’s good for my summary standards: 

tetsu had changed. tetsu was no longer his partner. but daiki saw that same spark in kagami, and even if he wasn’t one for sappy romantic stuff like tetsu, maybe this time… maybe this time the light he picked would stay with him.

“Well, you like painting. Maybe paint a basketball on the school wall or something?” Satsuki suggested absently, still looking at the giant chocolate fountain. It couldn’t hurt to go in and try it, right?

“Thanks, Satsuki.” Daiki’s voice had a sudden spark to it, and Satsuki’s eyes shot wide as she realised what she’d said.

“No - Dai, wait! You can’t-” But he’d already cut the call.

He had to admit he was a little more than excited - it’s not every day that you get to be a father, and especially not to a firecracker like Izumi. Now, if only Izumi’s social worker weren’t this attractive… and if only he weren’t the same man that Zuko had been absolutely, abominably horrible to the previous week.

its a zukka modern AU in which zuko is running his dad’s company after ousting ozai, and the board pressures him to get an heir. ace gay bean zuko decides he’ll adopt instead. also azula/katara subplot with katara being an intern at azula’s hospital (NOT in charge of azula tho bc that can lead to some weird power dynamics). highkey slowburn romance tbh. zukka hate each other for only a bit, but the friendzoning is unreal lmao

writing for buckyrhodey it’s a guarantee that i’ll get low reaction but my on-going baby Distant Stars it’s a monster of a SteveTony fic disguised behind a so-far false pretense that is a shared fic with BuckyRhodey.

definitely my previously (as of, literally a few days ago) most kudo’ed work, The Mess That We’ll Become (leaves something to talk about) for the Élite fandom. Not only did I not expect to get that much attention because the fandom is arguably smaller than other fandoms I had written for so far but also because not a lot of people seemed to be into the MMF ship the fic is about lol 

…is your funniest?

i consider myself to be a very fluffy, funny-crack fic writer so almost all my works have some sort of funny bit or dialogue here and there but if I had to pick the funniest it would be both of the series of the Holy Trinity and their Token White Guy: The One With The Back-Seat Drama, The One With The Lousy Method To Help Sleep, aaand this WiP I don’t know if I’ll ever pick up but sigh, it had a couple of really funny three chapters

i don’t usually write too angsty or heavy fics bc it’s tiring to get in that mindset now but years ago I guess I was more into it and I wrote You’re Still Written In The Scars On My Heart, which still has a happy ending anyway, bc that’s who I am as a person. Also, I think Until We Meet Again bc I was coming from the Endgame trainwreck and it hurt to write. 

ps. I am in the process of writing yet my angstiest fic as a continuation of my last buckyrhodey fic and I’m really excited abt pushing myself further with that.

Now, what kind of question to ask a writer is that? It’s like asking a parent to pick between children. That being said, I do have favorites but never just One favorite bc no.

I think To All The Boys Rhodey’s Loved Before was pretty easy because I just had to take from the bits of the movie that worked for me and then the scenes I added for this own AU came to me from the beginning so I never really struggled with anything to write this.

Smut is my absolute kryptonite when it comes to writing something so the begining of I’ve never seen a mouth that I would kill to kiss was a Challenge (tm), as well as a few others of my early BuckyRhodey stuff.

lmao i really dont know. probably Hesitate or the last three fics I’ve posted for the Julie and the Phantoms fandom. Also,  I've never seen a mouth that I would kill to kiss just bc my beta readers did an amazing job with me on that one.

Again, I would have to say Distant Stars. The amount of time I’ve put on that fic and love I’ve poured it’s like no other. It’s the one work I keep going back to.

im tagging @gaycytharat , @mimabeann & anyone else who sees this!! 

1. Starting with basics. Who is your Outlander (which class, what their aligment)? How did they end up being frozen in carbonite for 5 years? Why did you make them the Outlander?: so as ive said before, i dont actually have a single outlander!! ive taken a character to represent every class and they all play their own part in the outlander’s story- they first come together during shadow of revan, are decided to be a strike team that kind of transcends alignments, and move on to kotet/kotfe. genetura is the jk, t’igrea is the jc, hirull is the smug, dten is the trooper, net is the inquis, annuy the wrath, heydhin the bh, and nevidas the agent. ive actually decided, carbonite wise, that only a few of them get frozen for the 5 years- and i havent decided who specifically, yet. i decided to have this group of outlanders bc i dont think the storyline really perfectly fits one class- and i like the found family aspect :3c

2. Now, to the rest of classes. What happens to them during KotFE/ET? Did they know the Outlander? Were they allies, enemies, family? Do they join the Alliance or have something else to do? Do they play a major or a minor role in the story? Spare no detail (if you wish, of course): the ocs i have aside from the main classes are sindta, irus’h, and nephret- tho i havent talked ab nephret yet :3c. sindta is a smuggler who used to be apart of hirulls crew, but splits once she becomes an official privateer. irus’h is just a regular jedi, and i havent decided on anything for nephret yet. either way- sindta becomes a pretty high rolling smuggler who is later recruited to the alliance once he finds that hirull is alive, and irus’h probably joins too- she doesnt really fit in with the other jedi.

3. What about companions? Do you follow their in-game story or have headcanons for them? Did they stay with your non-Outlander characters or not? Why?: haha Oh geez. thats a lot of companions to keep track of! i think more or less it works out in all the canon ways. this is also a question that kinda pertains to who gets frozen in carbonite and who doesnt! so. will answer some other time :)

4. If applicable: how your characters react if the Alliance joins the opposite faction on Iokath and after that? For example: how do Sith characters feel about joining the Republic? Will they stay or leave (if it's too spoiler-ish, then feel free to skip this)?: soo another canon divergent-ish thing is that. the alliance leaders believe its in their best interest to keep the alliance neutral with a republic spin, so they do plant nevidas and possibly annuy/net to be saboteurs. the rest either remain neutral, or ally with the republic. 

5. If applicable: if your Commander decides to be a saboteur, would they tell anyone (PC or companions)? Why/why not?: all of the saboteurs make their intentions known to lana and theron, but thats about it. nevidas is already with theron, so no relationship troubles there. net currently has no partner, and annuy probably tells quinn. the republic “”saboteurs”” probably dont tell their partners, though, just because theyre doing less damage to their respective faction and more.. keeping an eye on them. publicly, the alliance says that they’re siding with the republic- but that is not the case :0.

6. How would your characters react if one of their companions is exiled or dead because of Outlander's choices? For example: sith warrior's reaction if Commander doesn't save Vette?: !! my kink is an everyone lives au, and whats sexy about having 8 outlanders instead of 1- you can NEVER be shortstaffed :D annuy would go with one or two others to help vette, and heydhin would take his crew to help torian. easy peasy baby

7. If you have something written about anything from the above (bc I know some people do), share the links to your works (again, if you feel like it)!: owo i... DID write the first chapter to the shadow of revan story but. im really anxious ab my writing/sharing it anywhere. i was thinking of putting it on ao3 but then people could SEE it and i.. aaa :( but i guess if people asked for it i could put it up .

Aka try to list everything, which makes your muse interesting in your opinion to make them spicy for your mutuals.  —  you like the adventure era sonic? you hate how he sometimes handles really serious scenarios or brushes them off like nothing, as if they aren’t traumatic as shit in any way? wanna see a pretty mentally and emotionally fucked up lad struggle with handling his troubles and keep up the dark/serious theme SA2 set that sega is too cowardly to go back to in modern day? well bOY DO I HAVE THE HEDGEHOG FOR YOU. this bad boy ACTUALLY has emotions and struggles with handling them and many other things due to the position he has put himself in over the course of his life, but also doesn’t completely wear him down and stop him from being who he is! as well as dealing with the fact he and his timeline are MUCH further behind than other alternates of himself and friends. sonic “ whirl ” hedgehog is a young hero still running his way through life the way he wants like the rebellious, free-spirited teenager he is, while learning that not only is he a hero, but he’s also a person.

Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?).  — quite frankly, he’s sonic. there’s a lot of them out there. he can probably be too energetic, positive, etc, or perhaps this blog focuses a little too much on his trauma and internal struggles or even the general dark theme to the point it’s a turnoff or just hard to really read. he’s also an annoying idiot to the point it’s frustrating.

What inspired you to rp your muse? — yo sonic was my fucking LIFEBLOOD as a kid. lived and breathed this franchise. sa2 was my first game ever, sonic was my fav character (and still is), so my absolute love for this specific version of him became too much to internalize sooooo here we are ; w ;

What keeps your inspiration going? —  straight up, sonic is probably my biggest comfort character to exist ever. always makes me happy, always makes me feel better when im down, etc. there’s nothing he can’t do that doesn’t make me smile, regardless of how sega treats him. being able to pour my ideas into a character i love so much to the point he becomes really personalized (and personal for me), and it’s actually something people enjoy seeing and interacting with? it gives me so much goddamn sertonin.

If someone disagrees to a headcanon of yours, do you want to know why?  —  mmmmm? mm. kind of? but also not really? like. everyone’s entitled to their own opinion ofc, i’m not gonna rip anyone apart for disagreeing with something, but like. i have adhd. i’m v hypersensitive to some things, so it can really be processed in my head the wrong way and it makes me feel bad. so i guess just....... be careful about it if you ever wanna tell me why?

If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it? — i’d probably just kinda be like “ damn that sucks bro, but thats literally not my problem, there’s a whole ton of other sonics out there bye ” bc like. i dont care? don’t even really tell me bc honestly ur just wasting ur time lmao

If someone really hates your character, how do you take it? — ill be the first to admit im. v attached to sonic as a whole. he means a lot to me! so going off abt how you may (generally) hate him really....... is just upsetting to me. but thats just bc im v attached to him, and there’s nothing wrong with having that opinion on him!! we all get upset when someone talks bad about something we love. all i ever ask is that try to keep it away from me, especially if it’s abt whirl in particular, bc it can really upset me and thats just not fun for anyone <:3c

Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors? — absolutely!! i make them all the time and i even have a friend proofread some of my stuff bc of how common it is aBJDBHBJC, again i just ask if people are nice about it when pointing that stuff out to me!!

Do you think you are easy going as a mun?   —  oh fuckin yes absolutely, im tooting my own horn and i dont even care, im one of the chillest people on this fuckin planet
