Concept: Wei Wuxian and Hua Cheng as Luo Binghe's younger biological brothers, but it's like, a lot younger.
Like centuries on. TLJ's recovered from his mountain-flattening to the point where he has roughly the strength and capabilities of a decent human cultivator. The world has changed. The boundaries between the realms have gotten stronger, and the potency of demon blood based powers in the human realms have accordingly weakened. Lots of cultivators have ascended, and the current ranks of them are not nearly as impressive as they used to be. Luo Binghe and his husband have withdrawn into the demon realm to try and keep the peace and maintain stability, but TLJ doesn't feel such an obligation and prefers the human realms even when his power is a lot weaker there, so as the boundaries grow thicker, he just sort of sticks around on that side of the divide.
Eventually he takes on the persona of a wandering cultivator, observing the changes that various human sects and societies undergo. As true immortals become much more rare and the cultivation methods and philosophies change, TLJ starts taking on different personas every few hundred years, just to avoid becoming too conspicuous. He observes with interest as the various cultivation sects shift from meritocratic to dynastic inheritance, as the old sects either ascend too far from humanity or else fall into obscurity, while the new ones that take their place provide ample fodder for his soapy RPF stories and gossip mill. The boundaries between worlds become so thick that only beings of extreme strength can pass through, with the most prominent "demonic" forces in the human realms becoming resentful spirits and ghosts, although even so sometimes an item or creature still manages to chance upon a weak spot and cross over.
Beasts and cursed items that would once have been mere trifles for cultivators to deal with instead become major sources of conflict and nigh-indestructible foes. TLJ feels at times like he's watching insects wrestle with the consequences of someone carelessly discarding a piece of garbage in their path, fascinated by the lengths they must go to in order to deal with it, but then he too has his limits these days on how much he can even help (if he chooses to do so, which he doesn't always).
At one point he decides that he'd like to try living life more from the perspective of some of these barely-above-mortal level cultivators. Like choosing to play a game with extra handicaps on, just for the challenge of it. He takes on the identity of a new young cultivator, recently bereft of a master and looking to join one of the great sects, and takes on the name of Wei Changze. Striking up a friendship with the young master of the Jiang sect isn't difficult, and playing the role of servant and subordinate is pretty entertaining.
TLJ is not expecting to encounter one of Su Xiyan's reincarnations in the midst of all of this, but that's life for you.
The new Xiyan, Cangse Sanren, is a lot sweeter than the cold and cutting sugar daddy of days gone by. But she's still quite ruthless when she wants to be, and extremely talented, and she still falls into TLJ's orbit even when she has much more practical options at hand. How can he not fall in love all over again? Even when he thought she orchestrated his betrayal, he never fell completely out of love. He might be a jillion years old by now, but at heart he still wants his Xiyan to pamper and spoil him, and to return the favor as much as he possibly can.
TLJ's no saint. He's as greedy as any Heavenly Demon, especially when it comes to love. So he doesn't refrain from stealing his new Xiyan, Cangse, away from all rival suitors when the opportunity presents itself. When she gets pregnant, he becomes nervous about history somehow repeating itself. He sort of wishes she hadn't. But she's excited, and he never really got to experience this with her the first time. He's greedy for any and all experiences with her, in the end.
The baby is cute. TLJ likes him. This new son also takes after his mother, which is good too. He's not much like Zhuzhi Lang except for being a bit simplistic (because he's a baby) but TLJ feels a stirring in his heart strings not unlike the sentiments he once held for his poor doomed nephew, a stirring that grows in time to become genuine affection.
Intriguingly, this son of his doesn't show many signs of his heavenly demon heritage. It isn't potent enough to require a cradle seal. There are hints of it, here and there, but only to one who knows how to look for the signs of true demon blood. Which actually isn't all that surprising in the end, hybrids can turn out any number of ways. Still, TLJ feels confident that by the time he starts walking and talking, little A'Ying could survive on his own.
Humans tend to raise their children longer for that, though, and Cangse is very attached to their son. So TLJ is like, oh well, no need to cut the apron strings even if this third wheel stuff is dragging on a bit (Wei Ying is four). He's maybe even actively enjoying parenting! He's pretty sure he's improving at it as well, like he always makes sure his son has enough money to buy food before they leave him alone for a few weeks, even though the boy is big enough to hunt small game. Spoils him, really.
But of course, then tragedy strikes again. Despite being stronger than most stuff, TLJ is not nearly as powerful as he used to be, and he sometimes sucks at guesstimating the actual differential between him and some of the malicious ghosts out there. His attempt to satisfy Cange's ambitions and take on the Burial Mounds go disastrously, with Cangse once again dying on him, and TLJ ending up trapped in the resentful mire of the Burial Mounds, body nearly destroyed (again).
So he spends several years locked in a depression fugue state and also very slowly regenerating his destroyed parts, lost in memories and grief, eating a lot of dead humans (never his cuisine of choice, but he isn't rich on options) when one day some rancid little upstart throws down a corpse that isn't a corpse, and is also very familiar.
Why, it's Wei Ying! And he's basically a man now! TLJ's not sure exactly how much time has passed, but given how badly humans age these days, it's probably less than a century. Wei Ying is injured and having a rough time of it, it looks like his human cultivation has gone badly somehow, but he still has enough potency to his heavenly demon blood that he'd need to be dismembered and probably eaten before death would really stick. He's not entirely lucid, though, and the malicious ghosts in the Burial Mounds aren't helping.
TLJ figures, well, he is a father after all, and Cangse was so attached to their little dumpling. He'll help out! Just until the kid gets his legs back under him again. So as Wei Ying scrabbles in the dirt and writhes in torment against the dark energy of hostile ghosts, he also gets to hallucinate his father's half-rotted visage talking him through the basics of some demonic cultivation techniques that ought to help him crawl back out of this pit.
It's a good day when Wei Ying manages it. TLJ wishes him all the best, he truly does, and then he goes back to wallowing. For like five minutes (to him). Then somehow his clingy second son returns to the region, if not to his specific pit, and brings with him a gaggle of humans in varying states of distress and poor health. TLJ finds that the neighborhood has become noisy, but at least this noise involves some interesting news and gossip, and Wei Ying appears to be mastering some kind of hybrid ghost/demon cultivation technique that is pretty fascinating. Trust Cangse's son to be so creative! And he farms, too! Badly, but. Well. TLJ certainly can't throw stones, he's never once gotten the hang of gardening himself either. The only thing he's good at growing is parts of his own body, haha!
He's actually pretty upset when the human cultivators turn up and his son ends up getting torn apart and devoured by the backlash of his own innovations. TLJ briefly considers tearing himself out of his shallow not-grave to kill everyone involved, but that does sound like a lot of effort, and in his experience revenge just never works right anyway. So after a while he just crawls his way out more sedately, saves his energy and uses it to cross back over to the demon realm for a while.
He revisits his eldest son, and is like hmm this is how you decorate a palace? No no it's fine I guess. Where's Mobei Jun's little hamster man, has he written anything new lately? By which I mean in the past thousand or so years. Oh he has! Great! Also you had a younger brother for a while there. Yeah no he's dead now. But he did exist, I actually liked him, very creative boy. Shame about the angry mob.
To which Luo Binghe's response is basically some flavor of "I don't care" whereas Shen Qingqiu is genuinely distressed that Binghe had a brother and didn't even get to meet him.
TLJ hangs out for a while, reads through all of Airplane's latest works, recovers his strength, does some "bonding" side quests with Binghe courtesy of his son-in-law's meddling (doesn't really work), and then eventually decides to go back and see what's going on in the human realm again. He can't help it, he's just not really into demon culture that much, there are only so many years he can spend lounging around the place before he starts feeling itchy and recollecting every agonizing hour of youthful displeasure and boredom that defined his life as a prince.
Getting back to the human realm is even more difficult by the time he leaves again, though. The Heavens are being annoying about it. There are tiers of Heaven, of course, and lately the lowest tier (closest to earth) has been taking a fairly hard stance about keeping the realms apart. Probably because all those gods are still weak enough that even TLJ's failson could just smash them to pieces if so inclined, and the higher tiers have been consumed with their own celestial matters, so most of these junior gods haven't had much guidance and are convinced they are responsible for the order of the universe.
Imagine being less than a thousand years old, coming from the era where most cultivators don't even ascend anymore, and thinking you're hot shit just because you moved up a single rank in divinity. Whippernappers, all of them. TLJ would scold them but that sounds too much like hard work, and anyway they don't even know that he can listen in on their noisy little communication arrays and settle back with some popcorn to watch their dramas unfold. It's like his own personal television channel.
Though he doesn't let himself think directly about it too much, he is also on the lookout for another reincarnation of Xiyan. Things ending in tragedy twice can only make it more likely that they should go well the third time, right? Or, even if not... the tragedy might be tolerable, so long as there's a reprieve of togetherness beforehand again.
Alas, TLJ is not in luck for quite some time. In a moment of weakness he even settles for the pursuit of a spirited young commoner with a just-similar-enough kind of temperament to soothe the ache, before making him feel all the more unsatisfied in the aftermath. It's not that he imagines himself keeping faithful to a woman who has been dead (again) for ages and may or may not be reborn one day, it's more the feeling that having something near to the right thing is, in its way, even more unsatisfying than nothing.
Anyway, the young lady eventually tracks him down with news that she's pregnant, which TLJ supposes could plausibly be a result of their tryst. He gives her some money and tells her to contact him if the baby is weird, which does end up being the case (red eyes, clear demonic tendencies) so he provides some more compensation, at least until the kid is big enough to survive on his own. Then he just sort of peaces out to keep looking for Xiyan-Cangse Mark III, good luck to Third Son, it's not like this world is especially dangerous to a heavenly demon with blood that potent anyway.
Or rather, it shouldn't be, but plot twist: Third Son didn't get the regenerative abilities in the hybrid lottery. He dies on a battlefield. TLJ doesn't even hear about it, though he does eventually assume that the kid must have died because he's not hearing anything about a red-eyed conqueror or such after a few decades and that's unusual for Heavenly Demons. He's not too bothered in this instance, however, because he didn't let himself get attached this time. Smart of him. That whole Wei Ying business was just awful, he still thinks about it occasionally and he'd really rather move on.
Eventually a new ghost city crops up. TLJ doesn't think he'll find any version of Xiyan there, but he goes to check out the night life. Lo and behold, he finds himself spying a familiar face at the new gambling den, too. He's never heard of a Heavenly Demon becoming a ghost, but again, hybrids can be weird like that, and ghosts have filled a lot of the ecological niches left behind by the absence of demons. Ghost King, huh? Turns out Third Son is conquering his way across these piddly little realms. Good for him! Good for him. TLJ opts not to interfere. After all, he's not needed, the kid doesn't owe him anything, and he's mostly just in the city to collect gossip and enjoy the market. They get some interesting books.
He does cheer for this "Hua Cheng" when the kid beats a whole bunch of junior gods into the dirt. This must be the appeal of children's sports teams. The divine communication arrays start buzzing about this calamity, as the youths call it, and TLJ decides he's once again doing pretty good at this fatherhood business. Two interesting sons out of three isn't half bad!
The show gets even more entertaining when it turns out that Third Son has been carrying a candle for a particular disgraced god (Heavenly Demon romantic hyperfixation strikes again) and said god ascends once more, and this time there's all sorts of intrigue and plot twists in the heavenly court. It's so good that TLJ even goes to the effort of placing a call to the demon realms and magically livestreaming some of it to his son-in-law, who was so disappointed to miss seeing Wei Ying in action.
Unfortunately, the event he manages to livestream also features Hua Cheng dying. Whoops?
Well, it's a fittingly dramatic end to the story, even if his eldest son is pissed at him for upsetting his son-in-law with such things. His intentions were good!
As it happens, too, his divine livestreaming was a little more strongly broadcast than intended (well, he had to get it through the realms, that's not easy these days) and someone picked it up on the other side of the celestial divide as well. Specifically, one of the higher tiers of heaven. Which is how TLJ finds out that Wei Ying had actually come back from his first death, in a new body (smart kid!) and then subsequently hooked up with one of those Lan boys and ascended to godhood together.
After reuniting, Hua Cheng also proves resilient to the whole dying business, and so TLJ decides to make things up to Shen Qingqiu by organizing a family reunion.
His efforts initially garner interest from Wei Ying, coldness from Lan Wangji, glacial indifference from Hua Cheng, and some very cautious encouragement from Xie Lian (his sons all have impeccable taste in men), before the reunion finally happens and the gates of hell spring wide to bring forth the ultimate evil (Luo Binghe) and his better half, armed with some delicious banquet dishes and gifts for Shen Qingqiu's new brothers-in-law.
#long post#svsss#mdzs#tgcf#bingqiu#wangxian#hualian#mxtx#mxtx cinematic universe#lbh: can't you just keep it in your pants old man#shen qingqiu: actually binghe I think an average rate of one child every thousand years is not unreasonable#tlj: no no he's right at this point its practically a breeding kink

What do you think Rook's fixation with the beastmen is all about? Is it simple curiosity? Fetishistic? Is he planning a hit?
(Reaction image in this post is used with permission from the original artist, @/anbaisai!)
Personally, I think he’s just curious but also overly enthusiastic in expressing that curiosity (and that often doesn’t go over well with his peers). This may or may not be intentionally over-the-top so others underestimate his true abilities as a huntsman/a Real Threat. It could also be Rook overcompensating for his childhood, as he claims that he used to have trouble expressing himself. Now he unabashedly parades his passion for the arts and studying beastmen, merfolk, fae, etc. I understand where he’s coming from, really 🤷♀️ cuz I, too, love to speculate on how the heck those fantasy races work + the finer details of how they differ from humans. If Twst could tell us more about them, I’d really appreciate it!!
I really doubt that Rook plans to harm others. The man’s capable of it for sure, but he doesn’t strike me as someone who goes out of his way to do such things. Sure, Rook may provoke his peers, but it’s typically to sate his curiosity. For example, in his own P.E. Uniform vignette, Rook purposefully implies Malleus is a monster to anger him in order to witness Malleus breathing fire. Of course, his behavior still offends his peers, and this should be acknowledged. Still, Rook's harm is also typically limited to his words and sometimes unwanted touching.
I think many in the fandom would suggest that Rook is… Very Eager/Experimental when it comes to *coughs* intimacy. However, I don’t feel comfortable discussing this, so I won’t go into extreme detail. All I’ll say on this matter is that being very fixated on something or expressing yourself in a colorful manner has other potential explanations. It’s not uncommon to see people headcanoning Rook as neurodivergent or LGBTQ+ for the same behaviors we observe in official Twst materials. (All valid takes, by the way!) Simply put, I don’t think that being Loud about your hobbies/interests means it’s something you derive “fetishistic” pleasure from it 💦 I genuinely believe Rook just has a… unique style of communication, shall we say 😂

been feeling really lonely lately, i mean i have people to talk to but on a deeper level it just feels lonely. small and superficial talk is draining, always texting first is not a problem, getting downright ignored is. i just want one true friend who's always there. idk if i'm the problem? am i not trying enough? i always give my all in friendships. it's just so hard to find. everything's gonna change soon after highschool, i'm losing everything that i have been attached to for all the years of my life. my city, my family, my peers. i'm scared. a little lost. but i just keep going.
wanting someone who truly sees you, who’s there through thick and thin — that’s not too much to ask. but not everyone is capable of that kind of friendship, and that’s not a reflection of you; it’s just the reality of human connection. I don’t think the issue is that you’re not trying enough. I think you’re just someone who wants to feel seen, truly seen. that kind of connection does exist. it’s just… not always easy to find, especially at this stage of life. but I guess that makes such friendships, when found, even more precious and dear.
now, you’re standing at the threshold of something new, and while it might feel overwhelming right now, there’s also beauty in this moment of transition. nothing new or life-changing has ever come from remaining in a comfort space for too long. it’s a harsh truth, but a real one. comfort zones are seductive — they offer a sense of stability, security of the known, but they can also trap us in patterns that limit our potential. real growth lies in that first step into the unknown, even if it feels terrifying. you are scared, so do it scared. here's the thing: you don't have to wait for the fear to go away. in fact, sometimes the best thing you can do is move through that fear, even when it feels like it's holding you back.
life doesn’t unfold when we play it safe; it’s the risks, the unknowns, and the decisions that pull us out of what’s familiar that allow us to become who we’re meant to be. yes, it’s terrifying. yes, it feels like you’re leaving pieces of yourself behind. but sometimes, in order to find who you truly are and what you’re truly capable of, you have to step away from everything you’ve known and embrace the discomfort of change.
also, you don’t leave everything behind. you carry pieces of it with you — pieces of the people, the places, and the moments that have shaped you. they are woven inside your very being. and if you ever feel lost or drained along the way, you can always go back to those familiar places, to those people who understand you, and recover the strength to continue.
remember that evolution is NOT erasure. don’t think that by moving, you’re deleting all the things you’ve loved and that once comforted you. moving forward doesn’t mean you’re starting from scratch or wiping away the past; it means you’re evolving. it means you’re taking everything you’ve learned, everything you’ve experienced and felt, and adding new layers to it.

Got Buffy on the brain.
Spike is an example of the magic of long-running series, which has more or less died out in the streaming era. Specifically, what happens when plans go awry. Because Spike? Spike is a plan that went very, very awry.
Spike was supposed to be a setup arc villain. That's it. That's all he was ever meant for. He's introduced in season two as the new scary Big Bad Evil Vampire. He's got a lot of charm and wit and some interesting characteristics but also he's killed two Slayers and is looking to add a third to his list.
Plan was that we have the Spike arc, then Buffy kills him in the midseason finale. Drusilla takes over as Big Bad Evil Vampire until surprise twist Angelus turns up as the true season villain. And that's it. Buffy fights Angel's entire little vampire sect and overcomes them and that's the season.
But Spike was spared his fate when he was just too likable to dispose of so quickly. He became a loose thread, kicked into the void for later seasons to figure out what to do with. Because this was back in the day when "We'll have another season to figure this out, we don't have to solve it now," was a thing you could reasonably rely on.
And then Angel got a spinoff, and they had to write him out of the show. That means we now have a void in the series. We need a new sexy vampire boy that the protagonists can have a fraught and snarky but generally positive relationship with when it really counts. And. Like. We have this loose thread over here....
And, as luck would have it, Spike had been written from the beginning to be a hopeless romantic. A vampire entirely capable of human affection, loyalty, and even selflessness for the people he loved. So it was really easy to slide him into a protagonist role and have him just pack-bond onto the protags now. All he needed was a restraining bolt to keep him from vamping it up. And hey, we're doing this arc about government labs and demon research soooooooo....
Spike is one of the show's most popular characters, and one of the things that makes him so interesting is the simple fact that he was an accident. He wasn't supposed to be here. He wasn't planned from the start, like Angel and Buffy were. Creative circumstances contrived to make Spike the path of least resistance.
And in-universe, he is a cosmic accident. His capacity for affection and loyalty defies conventional wisdom about vampires, which says they are just soulless husks incapable of true emotion. But the way it manifests as the series progresses is possible only because of the restraining bolt placed on him, which no other vampire has ever experienced, behaving in a way that it was not intended to function.
Spike is, both in and out of universe, an anomaly for multiple reasons. This was never the plan, and nothing about him as a character or plot point works the way it feels like it's supposed to. He is a walking contradiction of the roles he occupies and the rules of the setting. He's not supposed to be here, and moreover, he's not supposed to be.
And that is precisely what makes him so interesting, and captivates so much of the fandom. It's something that more tightly written series, with a limited number of episodes planned from the beginning, can never truly experience.
With other characters, with Angel or Buffy or Giles or Willow, there are surprises to be had. But they often fit very comfortably into their particular roles. But with Spike, you never really know what you're gonna get. Even his creators don't.

I kinda like the small yet big detail in the game, like I'm sure myself and some other people were expecting a wholesome dating sim that would also get quite spicy (FROM HOW WE KNOW MERU)
And we all just kinda got kicked in the butt, like Starling being too hot to be true yet so terrifying at the same time, but not the terrifying kind that we know, like Micah or Silas etc
More like the type that makes you forget that he still is more a siren than a merman, like he successfully managed to lure in the whole community with his hot ass😭😭and then we get backstabbed by him munching our fingers off as if they're some carrots, like as a simple lunch snack-💀💀
Or in the other ending where it's basically simply Mae dying and getting turned into a possession and probably just another body to fill up with tongues
From my interpretation, Starling doesn't really have that kind of romantic interest in Mae, but she kinda thought it could go into that direction, but then got stabbed in the back like that😭😭(probs everyone who played it, thought like Mae there too kinda💀so we all got the betrayal🙁)
And you guys did a really good job in simply catching us all off guard in most scenes, it's it's beautifully written and drawn, I love that game so much!!!
Spoilers for the game
Honestly maybe Sel would give a different answer but I do think Starling likes Maelyn. Due to his past and what he has now become his way of showing it is probably different, but for Starling I don't think Maelyn is just another body for storing tongues. If that was the case he wouldn't have went out of his way to clean her body up, find a wedding dress and "marry" her in his own makeshift way.
He probably didn't even view it as a betrayal. Because until the very end Starling was making sure the no longer breathing Maelyn could be comfortable in her pearl necklace.
For the writing style, probably Sel writing the story played a big part in this.
Sel and I have very similar tastes in a lot of things, on levels I myself can't believe sometimes. But we do have a different style at how we depict similar concepts.
I love presenting dark stories on a silver platter. Prettied up with the most delicious icings and shiniest sprinkles. I like my stories and characters to look beautiful. Enjoy them while thinking you're just having whimsy adventures only to realize you're done for once you truly look. Like Silas. It's easy to make fun of him, forget the things he is capable of doing as you're too busy enjoying his silliness. He feels safe, a gentle giant who loves and takes care of you.
But he's still a man who has forced himself on you not only physically but also mentally. Trapped and limited you beyond belief. No electricity, no internet, no contact with anyone other than him. Only talking to him, only feeling him, only knowing him, only consuming him. A beautiful and sweet man no human mind can handle for more than a few weeks.
But Sel, from what I've seen, is a bit different. She doesn't shy away from showing the darkness and scariness of the stories she makes. Before you even know it you'll be facing concepts you didn't think could be possible.
And not only that, she hides so much under every word she uses. Often times the things she places in front of you are not even the scariest parts. The more you read and the more you decipher they get deeper.
I'm frankly a big fan of the things she writes. They often leave me flabbergasted (and mortified, she knows what I mean) but they are also so so fun. So scary yet beautifully poetic.
I know she doesn't like being under the spotlight that much. But ever since I met her and saw her stories I wanted more people to get the chance to see and appreciate them the way they deserved. I think they are truly special, and they make me want to do my best to illustrate them in the perfect way possible.
Honestly I'm not sure if I'm good enough at it, but if it helps the stories reach more people I'm happy with it.
I don't know if she'll read this post so that's why I'm being sappy like this but I genuinely hope you guys like her stories like I do. And I hope both you and I can see more and more of it.

ALNST analysis about Luka's "Drowing Bloom" Patreon post and his page
The following analysis is formulated in response to this query from a mutual of mine. The post states as follows:
I just read the new, free Patreon post and. huh. what do you mean "LUKA has never felt insecure in his life" lmao. isn't it official information that he used to have low self-esteem? how does "had low self-esteem" and "has never felt insecure in his life" go together. unless it's another definition of "insecure" that's being used here? I'm somewhat confused but also that's a funny sentence tbh
I'm here to talk about that, though I'll mainly be dissecting the new Patreon content.
The following content will contain discussions of Luka, Hyuna, Hyun Woo, HyunLuka, child abuse, unconventionally/potentially uncomfortable love and relationship, bullying, and social isolation.
To begin this discussion, I will clarify any doubts that may be had about the exact wording. (I haven't been able to find any translation analysis/translators who can clarify because Patreon posts are already translated, so you'll have to excuse my limited capabilities.)

In the post, Luka's "insecure" mentioned above is related to the word "uneasy" of the first sentence; but when I put it through a translator to get each word separately, they were all spelled differently while having mostly similar/related characters. The words originally came out as "unstable" when the sentences were together. When I translated them on their own, I obtained three different results.
불안합니다 "He is anxious/I am anxious."
것입니다 "feeling anxious"
불안하다는 "I feel anxious"
After wasting about an hour and writing an unnecessary amount of analysis I ended up scrapping, I come to the conclusion that they are all synonymous and simply changed for grammar reasons or clarity.
(If you care, here's a list of English equivalents for the different groupings: uneasy, anxious, insecure, unstable, nervousness, trepidation. Someone who knows Korean can correct me if I'm wrong about anything.)
Next in line, I will analyze the overall picture of Hyuna and Luka's relationship through the years. (Read also, we finally get HyunLuka analysis through the flowers + Hyun Woo mentions.)
Hyuna and Luka were intimately close as children. With the addition of Hyun Woo, the three are almost always depicted together, like inseparable friends. Hyuna consistently allowed Luka to engage in behaviors other humans saw as off-putting or disgusting around her. Lacking expressions and engagement in interaction, disregarding others' presence and emotions to the point of being physically hurtful, and constantly sucking on or biting objects and Hyuna herself—she accepted it all and even showed that she did not consider it queer/unnatural. Luka repeatedly expressed his "love" for her as possession and desires for control. He has been conditioned to believe that care/love is obsession and obedience. He is not able to force the girl he loves (physically and mentally) but wants her near him and subordinate to him so she can never have to worry again and he can control everything around her. This is in direct relation to the fact that he has no worries for his future because his path had already been set out for him since the concept of "Luka" existed.
But don't forget Hyuna's side of this relationship. Hyuna, who originally had her precious brother with her and led both Hyun Woo and Luka in playing together. Hyuna loved Luka so much that she would let him do anything he wanted, really. One of her canonical regrets is how permissive she allowed herself to be with him. People think that Hyuna doesn't love Luka anymore or simply cut it all off when her brother died. That's simply not true. The fandom has labeled them as "tragic heteros," and I think that's a fitting title. They're beautiful opposites. From the start, Hyuna has always been seen as the extroversion to Luka's introversion. She jumps into situations, and he follows.
Luka's love is insecure (translated flower-wise as anxious) because of their past and conflicting ideals. It says in the Patreon post that "LUKA thought the whole time he was away from HYUNA. About what he should have done, and how on earth he could be more connected to his loved ones than blood." I'd like to point out that loved ones is plural. Luka has loved more than just Hyuna in his life. And the loved ones he had either had someone who was blood related who he felt was closer than him (jealousy) or shedding blood seemed like the only way to have those people close to him (obsessive behavior).
Hyuna loves so strongly that the flower used means that her love is "without measure." Hyuna doesn't look back yet still holds affection and care inside, locked away because addressing the love means addressing the trauma. Her "love" also connects to the revolution and freedom. She has an emptiness inside of her, and she makes the steps to fill it with her own two hands. She will not drown in grief and let the two ones she loved most being removed from her life make her stop reaching out for her love of freedom. She was a girl with no idea what she was doing when she escaped, but she has grown into a woman who is determined to live her life for herself.
The contrast and similarity is striking.
Luka's description makes him sound weak, the image of lying down and feeling water flow over your hand comes to me. The acceptance and surety of fate and letting life be is the behavior I struggle to find a word for that isn't complacency. He feels inactive, only pondering how he could have changed things but never doing anything.
Hyuna's description sounds desperate and bold. We know from "All-In" that she still gets vivid flashbacks even when soaked in noise and distractions. She is a person who works impulsively and passionately, putting her whole heart into something. Littered with regrets—she has to push on to survive.
Yet, these two are so similar.
They held the love inside of them deep down, never speaking of it aloud except in the only ways that they know how to show themselves—song. Their flowers are both colorful because of their individual beauties that they show in their own way. It is Hyuna who was insinuated to have influenced Luka in seeing the stage as a place where he can be in control.
They are both empty due to loss, both coping by leaving the past behind and physically unaddressed (despite different mentalities behind the actions). While Hyuna doesn't look back and distracts herself, Luka wears a mask and deludes himself, and they both pretend the world is going to work out the way they need because they are in control in their own minds. They're simultaneously trapped in their ideologies, and this conflict is the reason they are the "tragic heteros" of the narrative.
Moving on, I will talk about the page whose image I will provide below. (ID in alt text, English only)

As much as I consider Herperu the lowest of low, I cannot discredit his words and say he knows nothing of Luka. He made it his personal mission to know every detail of his finest creation. Luka was tailor-made after all, with many fans theorizing that he was created in a lab/test tube-like container. While I cannot give you canon facts for something unstated, I can give you a handful of theories concerning why Heperu claims Luka has low self-esteem.
Luka may have had confidence issues from his ostracization in Anakt Garden. (He was ignored by his peers and, in an official comic, shown to be treated like he didn't exist/wasn't significant. Assuming this was normal behavior given to him in his days at Anakt Garden, there is good reason to believe that when Hyuna left/grew distanced after Hyun Woo's death, so did his only hold on interaction with a fellow human.)
Luka is conditioned to believe everything Heperu tells him unconditionally and holds onto the sentiment of how he will be no good if he isn't "talented enough" as well as his mandatory duty to be the god among men of idols. (He must always be in perfect shape in order to present himself. There can never be a flaw. His autonomy does not exist. He is a good for others to take from. He must be a model pet.)
Luka's only confidence came from his performance and acting, he had no real confidence in himself as a person, away from cameras, or off-stage. (He seems to have adopted Hyuna's philosophy of singing giving a person freedom to express how they are, seeing as he is more expressive on-stage and masks everywhere else.)
Herperu's words could be what is a common case of "assuming you know what a creature wants/is feeling from researching instead of asking directly." (Segyein see humans like humans see animals. If an animal shows certain behaviors, we consult resources in order to know how to view and approach the situation. If research told Heperu that Luka had low self-esteem, then he would believe that rather than ask his pet how he feels.)
Heperu could be gaslighting Luka into thinking he has low self-esteem or gaslighting the press into thinking Luka is "humble" or whatever.
I, personally, don't have full trust of segyein's descriptions of humans because it's obvious that they very rarely (if ever) ask the human how they're feeling or neglect to even do simple analysis of humanity. (Also, Heperu is incredibly selfish and manipulative, without a single thought or consideration being about Luka's comfort, happiness, or healthy living. Honestly, I hate that alien. I hope his dick-shaped head-body snaps in two.)
To wrap this analysis up, my conclusion is simple. It is up to a fan's interpretation to figure out whether they think Luka has low self-esteem, is in a constant state of surety, used to have low self-esteem and has now changed that state of mind, or exists as a mixture of multiple states in multiple areas. Canon's conflict stems from information we cannot fully be sure on, and the creators remark about the complexity of Luka's emotions and the inability for almost anyone. "We don't know if anyone will ever know LUKA's heart..." They admit that there is a limit and that he is a difficult creature to understand.
Extra: my personal theories
Personally, I believe that Luka has low self-esteem due to his view of himself as worthless without his trained skills and inferior to segyein by existence. I believe he has never been insecure because he has never tried to drift from the path that was paved for him. I believe he still knows that the love between him and Hyuna is insecure because of the instinct that the Patreon post mentions; it would be more accurate to use the synonyms "uneasy/unstable." He is stable/secure in his livelihood so long as he follows the life that he knows no alternative from; his relationship is unstable/insecure due to the trauma on Hyuna's end and his forceful nature; he had low self-esteem either from his peers' isolation or from Heperu's reminders that he is only worth something as long as Heperu deems it so.
Thanks for reading.

Brainrotting about the two types of yanderes there are.
Type 1 :I want a future with you, you're my everything, my world. If you get harmed my heart will blow in a thousand pieces from how much it hurts seeing you sad
Type 2 : horny. THATS IT.
And ofc we can have a mix of them but 90% of the time it's one of these 2 categories.
Also who do u think will fall in what category?🌚 cause I feel like albedo would be a mix, Neuvi would be first and I think we all know what category scara is. But like...what abt ifa?? Or kinich? OR LIKE ANY OTHER CHATACTER?? I'm honestly really curious abt how u portray them

i would argue that type 1 and type 2 are one and the same, but it's also fun to think of it as two completely separate genres <3
; yandere.

Type 1: "our hearts are one and the same, beats synchronized. i yearn for you with every breath i take, and my breath shortens when you part from me. i could recall each pore of your face from memory reliance alone. there is no future if there is no you. i exist solely to love you." core.
albedo. the lengths he went through for his own synthetic human project, paired with his extraordinary capabilities as an alchemist, concocts the perfect mixture of a man willing to do anything he can to ensure that the future he envisions of you and him comes true. there is literally no limit for him; his morals may become skewed, his actions be condemned, and his name be tainted in scorn, all that matters is acquiring and preserving your love.
shenhe. her dissonance from humans while growing up has caused her to be quite stunted and lacking in meaningful connections, which makes her attachment to you all the more deadly. the world is rendered useless the moment you cease to exist.
ei. have you seen her pursuit of eternity? granted, the cruel actions are more accredited to the shogun, but it doesn't erase ei's involvement in it. i believe that she would covet you in her plane of euthymia; hidden from the world and only existing for her pair of eyes.
neuvillette. it's already been discussed in a previous post, but <333 soggy pathetic man who's just as intimidating when provoked. yes, scrumptious.
arlecchino. the entire way she treats the house of the hearth would be reminiscent of how she treats you, i think. her actions may seem ruthless and unfeeling at first glance, and you'll only see the sacrifices she has made for you when her actions are willingly uncovered. as much as she likes the mystery around her person, she much prefers you knowing the amount of love she has for you.
kinich. his tragic childhood of his parents' relationship would serve as a cautionary tale for kinich the moment he pursues you. his devotion and obsession, as well as him trying to be everything his father was not, result in quite a... passionate lover in him.
ifa. he's a coddler and undoubtedly gets his feathers ruffled every time you venture out without him, his knowledge, or cacucu to accompany you. you're no saurian, yet you can't help but feel like one the moment ifa obsessively checks over your entire body and runs multiple tests for possible injuries as soon as you get back.
kaeya. despite his multiple connections to people scattered around mondstadt city, i believe that deep down, he feels rather lonely. he finds that long-awaited companionship in you, and sticks with you since. he is half of you, and you are half of him <3 :)
kazuha. life as a vagrant leads him to places that he yearns to share with only you. kazuha exists in a constant state of bliss whenever he's around you, so he tries to get you to stick around as much as possible. oh, you don't fancy the traveling lifestyle? that's okay :)) he'll guide you through it all.
wriothesley. killing his adoptive parents during his youth is only the tip of the iceberg that comes with wriothesley's mind. that is to say, he's very capable of committing murder a second time, thrice, if he believes this to be the solution to his problems.
chasca. you are the only thing that ails her abyss-corroded body and mind, so her protectiveness over you propels over the scale of what is deemed as 'acceptable'. after all, despite her title as peacemaker, chasca often settles conflicts through violence.
skirk. i can't really delve into why since it's minor leaked content, but just know she's a lovergirl through and through <3
pantalone. his impoverished lifestyle has led him to strictly covet what he deems as his, and you are no exception. the cruel life out there in the streets has taught him some of the most valuable lessons that he lives by; it causes him to wear selfishness like a second skin, firmly unrelenting in letting you go.
Type 2: gooner supreme.
xiao. his karmic debt caused him constant agony and pain, so when this was calmed, only then was xiao introduced to the world of gooning. it's like a repressed virgin finally letting loose with how he perceives all your innocuous actions to be the devil's incarnate. smh. let him hit it from behind pls.
alhaitham. he goons only when he's 1000% sure that there is no living person in his vicinity. it's a matter of pride; he can't have anyone, absolutely anyone, knowing that he gooned off to the book you just returned to the library.
emilie. it's mostly personal bias speaking, but emilie is enough of a gooner to think about your underwear while she cleans a morbid crime scene. i'm will always be a firm believer that she's crazily obsessed with your body scent and the smell you leave behind on worn clothes. it's better than the perfume she makes in her opinion.
chiori. perveted seamstress who accidentally gets too close to you for comfort while she measures out your size and proportions... yeah, okay... fortunately, she's always wearing such a nonchalant facial expression that it's impossible to tell if she's lying or not, allowing her to slip through confrontations with ease.
dahlia. world's worst deacon by the way because he prays to barbatos nightly for the wind to mysteriously tear your clothes apart during church :/// and when it happens, let's just say he now suddenly owes several tavern tabs to his name because of a bard named venti.
yae. scheming is her middle name. oh! looks like the stack of books she was carrying accidentally fell, won't you be a dear and pick it up for her?? :)) no, she's not looking at your ass, what are you talking about? by the way, she needs you to taste test this promotional dish in the works, and don't worry if you suddenly feel hot!
columbina. my goonerbina agenda.... she's the type of gooner to sweetly ask you to hold up your top so she can grope your skin with absolutely no shame whatsoever. why should she? it's not her fault you're so irresistible, you know? :((
wanderer. the gooner overlord... literally goons over everything you do, it's a miracle how he can get an ounce of work done whenever you go to the house of daena to study. he'll snatch your quill and goon over it. he'll get a whiff of your hair and excuse himself to goon. he sees you're his partner for the upcoming research study and needs to goon. goon goon goon.
xilonen. subtle gooner because she's employed and people rarely accuse the working class of being gooners. but she is :) she'll voice record you in secret when you come to check up on her within the workshop, and every little sigh or sound you make gets clipped together to form a special radiant spincrystal, all for her to listen to.
childe. he's like a horny mosquito because he gets off on the sight of you being bloody or all beat up, the blood doesn't necessarily have to be yours to begin with; violence just fits you so well, that's all. so don't be surprised when you see him sporting a hard-on mid-spar, okay...?
lumine. she goons after helping you with a menial task. she'd usually be bothered when randos come up to her with commission requests of the dumbest things, but when it comes to you, you could tell her to hop around in circles, and she'd do it a hundred times over, all in the hopes that you'll let her hit it one day. day 1 plotter i fear.

finding a lover ౨ৎ
this are some general readings focused on what could be blocking your path towards finding romantic love. sometimes we want something we are not ready to be responsible for, this happens in all aspects of life but we are less aware of it when it comes to love and relationships, as we are usually made to believe we are single because we are unworthy or incapable of love. everyone is worthy and capable of love, but sometimes we are not all that sure about what love itself means or what ways of loving are the best for us.
pick a pile...

pile one. pile two. pile three.

°❀⋆Pile Number One.ೃ࿔*:・
In your case, I see that love will find you whenever you begin facing that the person you are now, does not align with the ideas of love you’ve had in the past. I see you are in the process of deconstructing old beliefs that are keeping you tied to old ideals and values that no longer serve you, but are still present on your unconscious bias. It is understandable that you might be having a hard time to conceive new notions of what love means for you, as you might be more comfortable clinging to what’s comfortable, yet this comfort doesn’t come exactly from a state of wellbeing, but it comes from stagnant routines that are predictable. In order to have an easier time finding romantic love, you need to embrace and accept the emotions you fear whenever it’s possible by focusing on being grateful to yourself for the life developments you were capable to achieve on your own. It is important that when you think of your higher self, this version is coherent to your true essence, which is exactly what will bring love to you once you find a genuine way of channelling it out. I think you are in a moment where you will become more magnetic to love, but also material abundance, if you find where your intuition is leading your journey.
°❀⋆Pile Number Two.ೃ࿔*:・
I see here that logical thinking and an intellectualization of all feelings in general is obstructing your ability to connect deeper with people. I believe that sometimes you find value in your emotions only if they make sense to your logic or if they seem rational in regards to your context. In your case it’s key that you have the patience and the willpower to nurture the emotional landscape that you might be limiting due to anxiety in regards to “keeping it cool” or keeping your emotional responses “under control”. It’s almost as if love has to make sense all the time. As if you won’t allow yourself to feel good unless it’s from something that you are able to over analyze and find no illogical imperfections to it. I think you understand what you want from romantic love but only in a way that’s lead by your intellectual needs and a need for control over yourself and your surroundings, not in a way that includes your emotional needs or development. I see there’s a need for peace of mind, and romantic love doesn’t quite favour that since you are naively approaching as if it was something mechanical, which is not. The key for you is to accept that certain parts of the human experience are quite absurd and that doesn’t mean you need to fix them in order to be happy, you are smart, too smart to not allow your mind to find peace.
°❀⋆Pile Number Three.ೃ࿔*:・
What I get from these cards is that you are so ready to feel defeated, that you lower your expectations and/or self sabotage to avoid the responsibilities and demands of accomplishing the things you deserve, but are not ready to accept and take care of yet. I get the feeling you are aware of all your virtues because other people tell you about them, but you are not seeing them in yourself. It is okay to be ambitious, what’s not okay is that you might be always looking for the best next accomplishment in ways that are not coherent to what you already have achieved. It’s almost as if wanting everything to be perfect is stopping you from imperfections that aren’t actually all that negative, or not negative at all. Romantic love will come to you when you are ready to create a relationship that’s meaningful even if there are things that are not completely perfect. I think it’s amazing that you have high expectations for yourself and sometimes for others, but I need you to reflect on what a high expectation is and what an unrealistic one is, especially with yourself. I get the feeling you are attracting people who are not exactly what you need or want, but this will stop once you are truly aware of how deserving you are to be proud and confident in yourself

i will never ever stop thinking about the disability allegories in gravity falls. i cant ever stop thinking about disability allegories in other media and gravity falls is no different. im feeling chatty today, so lets see if i can articulate all my feelings on the matter.
the most interesting thing that stuck out to me with thisisnotawebsitedotcom.com was this snippet on fords medical paper:
we hear about this kind of attitude towards disabilities often, maybe you have heard about autism being referred to as the "next evolutionary change in humans." we can especially see this when a person has a disability, but is also very capable in other fields. there are so many cases in the medical or educational field of a child having specific needs, yet they are ignored due to them being "gifted".
in a vacuum, ford's extra finger may not be considered a disability, the sixth finger allows him more movement and dexterity, and ontop of that, he's a genius. its just an extra finger right? its not like it hurts him. but it does hurt him. he is a child living with a limb difference, he is constantly ridiculed by his peers. they call him a freak and physically harass him.
this is where we dip into the social model of disability here. i know sometimes that can cause a little bit of discourse, but i think its interesting to note here! please if you have a limb difference feel free to add your perspective or correct me where you see fit. if you don't know what the social model of disability is, its the perspective that disabled people would not be as limited in their abilities if it wasn't for the oppressive society that they lived in(think people in wheelchairs could do more things if infrastructure had disabled people in mind). ford wouldn't be experiencing abliesm in his life if limb differences were something people were educated about. then we get to bill cipher. in theory, his ability to see the 3rd dimension is almost a super power. but in the book of bill its literally stated that it is illegal for anyone to mention the possibility of "up". he is forced into abusive medical practices where he is being drugged to suppress his ability. no one in his dimension has the same perspective of him, he is completely alone, and even worse, the people who should be protecting him like his parents and doctors are abusing him(not that his parents are evil for this obviously. they don't have a choice and i assume they want what is best for him, what were they supposed to do? yet it still had this horrible impact on bill).
this social model can be applied to bill cipher. he has this ability that in a vacuum would be considered amazing, but he lives in a society(rip) that oppresses this. they have to, because bill trying to let his dimension see the stars killed every last person. which makes me think that whoever was in power here probably knew this would happen. its unsure if bill cipher knew the true extent of his damage would be, but i am of the belief that he didn't know how bad it would really be.
i just find all of this very interesting. i really love when a story tackles a topic such as disability. its so obvious this is what alex hirsch is going for and its such a unique take that i don't see often in media, as a disabled person myself. feel free to lmk your thoughts :)

Valentine's Day Special: Ribbon Prompt
The sound of the frontdoor opening and of footsteps moving towards the room alarmed you of his presence long before Light entered the room. As always he was dressed up in simple yet formal clothes to fit in with the others in the police station. The friendly smile he must have worn the entire day had long disappeared from his face, instead his expression was a blend of annoyance and boredom. A sigh left his lips as he threw his jacket on the chair. Tense shoulders loosened slowly as he soaked in the atmosphere of his own home. Only after that tension had evaporated did he turn around to look at you. All traces of stress were gone, or perhaps he had just hid them for now. Light liked to keep a good image of himself even when in your eyes he would never be able to redeem himself.
"Ryuk, leave us alone for a moment. Your apples are in the kitchen."
There was no one in the bedroom besides him and you. A stranger would have either believed him to speak to the void or for him to be insane. One of those statements was true about Light. However, it wasn't the misconception that Light was speaking to no one. There was a third person in this room. It was just an unfortunate fact that only Light could see that other being. The one who was always watching you when he was gone. The one who untied you and fed you throughout the day. You wondered if that thing felt just as uncomfortable and awkward as you did.
The creak of the door widened when something, or rather someone, passed it quickly. Ryuk seemed to love apples. Ryuk was connected to the book that Light frequently used to murder people. His Death Note. That was the extent of your knowledge when it came to Ryuk. You knew nothing else. Only theories were left for you otherwise. One you often liked to believe was that Ryuk was no human and for that his appearance was non-human either. That thought was the only thing that made it somewhat bearable to be unable to see Ryuk.
"Your parents came to the police station again, you know?"
Your back pressed against the headboard the moment the mattress dipped under Light's weight. There was not much else that you could do, not with the ropes binding your hands and your feet together. You had to give it to Ryuk, he was quite talented in tying a knot.
"It's been weeks since your disappearance and they have still not given up. It's almost touching to know that they love you so much."
If it was meant to sound sincere, Light had completely missed his goal. Personally you had stopped believing that he was even capable of feeling things like most people did. Otherwise you couldn't fathom how someone could be as deranged and delusional as he was.
When he laid down next to you, your body almost rolled out of bed. His arm stopped you just in time though. The grip he kept on you wasn't too tight to the point of being painful. It was just enough to signal a silent warning though that if you would ruin him his evening, consequences would follow. So you chose the safer option and slowly forced yourself to relax against his touch.
A beat of silence passed. Then his fingers started to slip to the back of your head where the knot covering your mouth was.
"We had no problems for the last week whenever I removed this. We'll continue this nice tradition, won't we?"
You kept the glare that you wanted to give him to yourself. It would be too dangerous otherwise. Your freedom was already so very limited. Any more restrictions and you would genuinely go insane during the day. So you could only give him a weak nod, feeling his hands swiftly loosening the knot before pulling the rag off your face.
Your mouth was dry as the rag had absorbed most of your saliva. It was always like this. That's why Light immediately pushed the glass of water against your lips that always stood on the night stand for Ryuk too had to keep you hydrated throughout the day. There were no objections from your side. You needed the water and from previous mistakes you knew better than to reject him by spitting water in his face or refusing to drink at all.
"There you go. That must feel better."
There was one specific person to blame for why you had been that thirsty in the first place. You knew to not start that conversation though. You wanted to be spared from his lunatic rambles and that temper that flared up when you dared to question and insult his dreams, his goals and his destiny.
With your mouth not feeling like a desert anymore, a deep breath passed your lips. Your head was propped up against the headboard as you squeezed your eyes shut for a moment. A moment to gather whatever scraps of energy you could still harvest from within you. You would need them after all now that Light was back.
"Light..." you began slowly, holding on to your composure as good as you could whilst he gave you an expecting look. Both of you knew which question would come right now. You always asked this whenever he returned. His answer usually remained the same. You lifted your hands slightly, wriggling them around within their tight restrains.
"Would you mind?"
It had to be fake sympathy that flashed within his gaze. He didn't loom surprised at all by your question. Judging from the look that he gave you, you knew that his answer wouldn't surprise you either.
"I don't think that I can trust you enough just yet. If you want me to allow you to roam around freely, you'll have to behave yourself better."
A frustrated sigh was the best you could do with the little energy that you possessed. There was no further objection from your side after that. Only silence.
"Truthfully, I think that you still look pretty. All tied up for me whenever I come home."
Those words left an ill taste in your mouth just like it left a bad feeling on your skin when he pressed a kiss against your temple.
“You’re beautiful, tied up like a present.”

Headcanons for Dating All Might (Toshinori Yagi):
- When he’s in his hero form, All Might is confident, boisterous, and radiates warmth. He’s the type to sweep you off your feet with grand gestures—think surprise rooftop dinners with a city view or showing up to save you from a minor inconvenience with his signature grin. His larger-than-life personality makes you feel safe and adored, like you’re dating a legend.
- In his true form, Toshinori is quieter, more introspective, and carries the weight of his past. He’s self-conscious about his frail body and the scars from his battles, especially his stomach injury. Dating him means reassuring him that you love him for who he is, not just the hero. He opens up slowly, sharing stories of his struggles, and you become one of the few people who see his unguarded side.
- You learn to love both sides of him—the unstoppable hero and the man who coughs up blood and worries he’s not enough. He might try to “protect” you by keeping his All Might persona up longer than he should, but with time, he trusts you enough to let the façade drop.
Dates:
- All Might loves making you feel special with dramatic, heroic gestures. He might fly you to a scenic spot for a picnic or use his connections to get you into exclusive events. His dates are often adventurous, like stargazing on a mountaintop or a private tour of a hero museum where he sheepishly explains his own exhibits.
- Toshinori, on the other hand, prefers low-key dates. He loves cozy nights in, cooking together (he’s surprisingly decent at making comfort food like yakisoba), or watching old American action movies while cuddling on the couch. He’s a sucker for nostalgic activities, like visiting a retro arcade or a quiet café.
- He’s incredibly attentive and remembers small details about you. Expect thoughtful gifts like a keychain from a place you mentioned loving or a handwritten note tucked into your bag. He’s not flashy with money but puts his heart into everything.
Emotional Intimacy:
- As a hero, All Might is wired to protect. He’s always checking in on your safety, especially if you’re near villain activity. This can sometimes feel overbearing, but it comes from a place of deep care. You’ll need to gently remind him you’re capable, and he’ll respect that while still keeping an eye out.
- Toshinori carries immense guilt and responsibility as the Symbol of Peace. You become his safe space, someone he can confide in about his fears of failing the world or his students. Listening to him and offering comfort helps him heal, and he’s endlessly grateful for your support.
- Dating Toshinori means growing together. He encourages you to chase your dreams with the same passion he has for heroism, offering pep talks that are equal parts inspiring and cheesy. In return, you help him embrace his limitations and find joy in being “just Toshinori.”
Challenges:
- As a hero and teacher at UA, All Might’s schedule is hectic. He might cancel dates last minute due to villain attacks or hero duties, which can be frustrating. He makes up for it with heartfelt apologies and extra effort to spend quality time with you.
- Dating the Symbol of Peace comes with media scrutiny. Paparazzi might snap photos of you together, and fans will want his attention. Toshinori does his best to shield you from the spotlight, but you’ll need to navigate the pressures of being with a celebrity.
- Toshinori’s chronic injuries and limited time in his hero form are a constant worry. He downplays his pain, but you’ll catch him wincing or coughing more than he admits. Supporting him means gently encouraging him to rest and take care of himself, even when he insists he’s “fine.”
Physical Intimacy:
- In his hero form, All Might is a big, warm hugger. He loves scooping you up in his arms or giving you playful, exaggerated kisses that make you laugh. His physical presence is comforting, like a human shield against the world.
- In his true form, Toshinori is more reserved about physical touch, worried his frail body might disappoint you. Once he’s comfortable, he’s incredibly tender—holding your hand, brushing hair from your face, or resting his head on your shoulder. He craves closeness but is careful not to push boundaries.
- Intimacy with Toshinori takes time. He’s self-conscious about his scars and weakened state, so you’ll need to show him through words and actions that you find him attractive as he is. When he trusts you fully, he’s a devoted and attentive partner.
Quirks and Habits:
- All Might can’t help slipping into hero mode, throwing out lines like “Fear not, for I am here!” during mundane moments (like when he brings you coffee). It’s endearing, even if you roll your eyes.
- He’s your biggest cheerleader, hyping you up for everything from a work presentation to trying a new hobby. His enthusiasm is infectious, though sometimes he goes overboard with motivational speeches.
- Toshinori loves sentimental things—keeping ticket stubs from your dates, saving voicemails you leave him, or tearing up at sappy rom-coms. He tries to play it cool but melts when you notice.
Meeting His Inner Circle:
- As his partner, you’ll meet the UA crew. Midoriya adores you and probably asks for stories about All Might, while Bakugo grumbles but respects you. Aizawa might give you a skeptical once-over, but he warms up when he sees how much you care for Toshinori.
- Friends like Detective Tsukauchi and Gran Torino are fiercely protective of Toshinori. They’ll grill you to ensure you’re good for him, but once you earn their trust, they treat you like family.
Future Together:
- Toshinori dreams of a peaceful life after retiring—maybe a small house by the sea where he can relax with you. He talks about teaching part-time or mentoring young heroes while spending quiet evenings with you.
- He’s hesitant about starting a family due to his health and the dangers of his past, but if you want kids, he’d be an incredibly loving, if overprotective, dad. He’d teach them to be kind and brave, just like he teaches his students.
- Toshinori worries about his shortened lifespan, but you reassure him that every moment with him is precious. You envision growing old together, laughing over his terrible puns and cheering on the next generation of heroes.

Linked Universe Combat Guide (part 1)
Lmao I have been casually sitting on this for like two months now and since I'm procrastinating writing an essay, I've decided to post it.
Anyway, this came from my bajillion notes about the Chain's equipment so I could have fight scenes that involved more than "he swings his sword" x9. I also wanted to identify all the weird weapons the Links would have too bc I know they exist. And since adhd is the shark disorder and I need to do something bc I stop moving I die, I've made my notes coherent enough to inflict upon tumblr.
General Notes:
In terms of additional weapons/equipment, I’m not including the traditional bombs/bow + arrows/boomerangs bc basically everyone has a variant of these. All I'm doing is looking at the possible items collected on the quests and being like "yeah I could probably work out a way to kill monsters with that".
Also they all have one-handed sword and shield proficiency, so I'm not including that for each Link. However any other canonical or possible weapon proficiencies will be listed.
7 out of 9 Links are predominantly lefties. Generally, left-handed swordfighters are used to fighting right-handed swordfighters, but the same is not true vice versa, so they will have an advantage against most human enemies. -> any ambidextrous fighters in the group is largely a headcanon but go nuts w/ it.
Researched to the best of my ability (limited only by search terms and my own waning hyperfixation), but pls be aware I literally only played my first Zelda game ever in February 2024 so there’s a lot I don’t know and games I haven’t played. Both parts are open to peer review and active fact checking lmao
Half of this is canonical abilities and half is presumed abilities based off of said canon + other logical conclusions. I'm doing this from a lore-accurate sense, rather than a straight pull from the LU comics, simply bc that allows for a broader analysis of what they're technically all capable of. I've tried my best to keep my personal headcanons out of this either way.
This part covers Four, Hyrule, Legend and Wind, whose games I have not played, so my apologies if anything is missing or incorrect.
Updated 9 March 2025 with new info provided by @thejolteonmastertj who's a literal godsend for their info about Legend and Hyrule's combat skills🙏, and @respheal who added on and emphasised just how important Legend's spin attack is. I love you both <3
Updated again 2 May 2025 with info for everyone here provided by @interlink-au.
Four
I am actively making the argument that Four probably has knowledge about other fighting styles due to his trade as a black/weaponsmith. I do not have any specifics in mind bc I do not have the spoons for that deep-dive, but feel free to run with this however you want.
Sword techniques: -> spin attack + variants -> great spin attack (repeated spins. interlink-au emphasises that it's very OP bc there's no dizziness/stamina involved so it can be spammed) -> hurricane spin (same as above but temporarily induces dizziness) -> dash attack (requires pegasus boots) -> peril beam (only works when he's got 1 heart left) -> sword beam when at full hearts -> roll attack -> down thrust (requires Roc’s cape)
Obviously, Four's greatest strength is team combat w/ the Colours. By splitting, he's able to coordinate combat with easy tag-team attacks with a much lower risk of friendly fire compared to when fighting alongside members of the Chain. Group combat, quite obviously, is actually kinda hard bc it requires an increased amount of situational awareness that is often overridden by adrenaline. Thankfully, since Four and the Colours are literally the same person, this is mitigated by a LOT.
Seriously do not discount how Four's height is an advantage in combat. Being smaller/shorter means you have less body mass to speed up and slow down, so you have greater agility and speed. You're also harder to hit and better at close combat (short limbs take less time to block, attack, etc.)
Genuinely don't know if he's proficient in combat while on horseback. I've heard at least one of Four's games has an Epona, but I don't know if there's any mounted combat.
Additional Weapons/Equipment: -> power bracelets -> gust jar -> Cane of Pacci -> magnetic glove -> fire rod -> magic hammer (hammer is capable of producing shockwaves and causing earth tremors) -> pegasus boots -> Roc’s cape -> shovel (do not under any circumstances discount mundane weapons) -> slingshot
Hyrule
To start off, the most important thing to know about Hyrule is that he's a self-taught fighter.
No, seriously this is more important than you think but not for the reasons you may think. Self-taught fighters are scrappy as shit. Out of the entire Chain, Hyrule will be the first one to resort to fighting dirty. Have him clawing at people’s eyes, throwing dirt, and biting. When you grow up in a situation where survival is a thin line you don't want to cross, you’ll do anything to stay alive when you have to.
Spells*: -> Shield: reduces damage by half -> Jump: self-explanatory -> Life: recovers health -> Fairy: shapeshifts into a fairy -> Fire: shoots fireballs from the end of his sword. (an aside, but this scene from the comic may be a variant of Fire? Fact check again lmao) -> Reflect: reflects magic attacks and strengthens his shield to temporarily block some physical attacks and most magical attacks -> Spell: can turn most enemies into Bots -> Thunder: summons lightning *be aware Hyrule has a magic meter. I haven't included how it functions here because it cluttered this section up horribly, but here's a link to it.
Hyrule actually gained the ability to use magic in his second quest, so while he's probably well adapted to using it now and may default to using it when backed into a corner, he's still a capable swordsman without it. -> Update: while the spells I listed above came about in Hyrule's second quest, thejolteonmastertj points out that Hyrule is straight up slinging sword beams with the random sword he gets given at the start of his first adventure, and that it's an important technique for the game.
He can canonically use Jump to perform a down thrust (like Four's) and a jump thrust (think Mario hitting bricks lmao),but there are so many ways to utilise this spell. Someone should teach Hyrule the Helm Splitter.
Additional Weapons/Equipment: -> power bracelets -> hammer -> this will sound stupid but ladder (again, never underestimate weird and mundane weapons.) -> magic rod (w/ accompanying fire upgrade) -> magic recorder (used in-game for fast travel but thejolteonmastertj also says it summons a tornado and if you can't find a way to use that in combat, I'm going to eat my hat)
Legend
Legend gave me so much trouble, solely bc sir has too many games. Jesus Christ man.
I am once again happily arguing that due to Legend’s sheer experience, he probably has other weapon proficiencies outside of a one-handed sword + shield combo, but that’s entirely up to personal headcanons. -> update provided by interlink-au: Legend is capable of dual-wielding his sword and a magic rod/cane, a boomerang, a hook-shot, etc etc. He will also parry with his sword if he's charging a spin attack (and can hurt them by walking into them, unless they're also holding a sword which will mitigate the blow).
Sword techniques (provided by interlink-au): -> spin attack (see above) -> dash attack (needs pegasus boots) -> sword beam -> hurricane spin (drains magic and induces dizziness) -> great spin (separate to a spin attack. increases range of normal attacks)
Once again for the class lmao, Legend has the most questing experience. While his section may seem small bc I don't want to rehash stuff I've already said, it's entirely on-brand for him to have tweaked a lot of this. Headcanons abound.
Updating the above points: again provided by thejolteonmastertj, Legend's officially getting smacked with another label, and this is "Most OP Spin Attack". This has been pointed out to be a core aspect of combat for ALTTP (Legend's first adventure). directly quoting their reblog bc I can't summarise it any better than it's already been said: -> "Legend’s charged spin attack as reactive crowd control is foundational & central to his entire battle style. It’s extremely difficult to land a hit otherwise! You gotta either run, button mash to parry with ur back against a wall till something hits… … or you play it smart, watch everything in the room & plan your charged spins accordingly. Legend would be particularly adept at being outnumbered in an enclosed space. He can also throw pots, even shrubbery if he so desires, but well-timed spin-attacks are what truly carries him through his first few dungeons."
respheal also points out that some of Legend's enemies can only be damaged by the spin attack, making it a cruical technique that he's more than likely put time into developing more than the others may have.
interlink-au adds on to both of the above and mentions that, with the roc feather/cape, Legend is able to do a jumping spin attack.
Sword techinques (provided by interlink-au): -> spin attack (see above) -> dash attack (needs pegasus boots) -> sword beam -> hurricane spin (drains magic and induces dizziness) -> great spin (separate to a spin attack. increases range of normal attacks)
Can't believe I didn't mention Legend's own tactical prowess smh
interlink-au also has informed me that two of Legend's rings let him punch, so congratulations, he now probably knows some brawling/boxing techniques. The Expert Ring can let him punch so hard, he does the same amount of damage as he can do with the Noble Sword.
Additional Weapons/Equipment (Warning: brace yourself): -> literally the entire contents of his ring box. I'm not listing them. I don't even know what's in it, nor do I want to at this point. A link to the Everything in his ring box can be found here -> power bracelets/power glove/titan’s mitt -> hammer(s) -> pegasus boots -> Cane of Byrna -> Cane of Somaria -> hookshots -> switch hook(quoting interlink-au: "swaps you for whatever you hit it with, objects and enemies, which you can use to cross gaps.") -> long hook (upgraded version of the switch hook) -> seed shooter (+ ember seeds, scent seeds, mystery seeds, gale seeds, & pegasus seeds) -> hyper slingshot (interlink-au says it can shoot 3 mysterious seeds at a time, which have different elemental effects). -> fire rod -> ice rod -> Rod of Seasons -> tornado rod -> sand rod -> Bombos medallion -> Ether Medallion -> Quake medallion -> magic powder -> shovel -> super net -> alternative tunics (attack or defensive enhancements) -> red shield (fire defence) -> Roc’s feather & cape -> mermaid suit (allows Legend to use items underwater) -> magnetic gloves -> super lantern (I've discovered this is as strong as Legend's second Master Sword upgrade in ALBW) -> magic cape (makes Legend invincible)
Breaking my own rules to list a few of Legend's 5 boomerangs, as they all have different abilities (info provided by interlink-au) 1. Magical boomerang -> can be controlled with his mind. 2. Magic boomerang (different object) -> further range 3. Nice boomerang -> sends out three boomerangs for the price of one
Wind
Arguably has the best balance and proprioception of the group, which is extremely useful in many situations.
Once again, do not be afraid to use Wind’s height to his advantage. He has a slight detriment bc he’s still getting taller and going through puberty does screw up your proprioception, but I think if you’re using a sword that much, both against enemies and in sparring matches, he's probably still got a decent sense of his own balance and body.
Updated info provided by interlink-au: Wind has a great spin/hurricane attack, which does induce dizziness and use magic.
I genuinely don’t know how the Phantom Sword works, sorry. I know it has some potential to slow time, but I’m not entirely sure about the mechanics behind that, nor if it’s still capable of such magic. From interlink-au: apparently the Phantom Sword currently doesn't work bc it doesn't have any magic leftover. There may be a comic out there made by Jojo that features Time and Wind talking about the sword, so if anyone knows of it, pls let me know.
Wind’s Parry Attack: Hmm this thing. It’s interesting. Note: no actual parrying with a shield is needed, which means it's kinda like BOTW's perfect dodge mechanic. -> Wind’s parry attack is like the Helm Splitter and Back Slice combined into one. If the attack is vertical, he does a Back Slice-esque attack. If the attack is horizontal, it’s a Helm Splitter. -> Additionally he has an ending blow like Twilight and Sky, which has a specific trigger.
Mild note from interlink-au: Wind can use three different items at the same time, unlike the others who generally use two, and he's very quick when he uses said items. Topically, I keep forgetting that Wind has magic which he uses to empower some of his arrows with fire or ice.
Additional Weapons/Equipment: -> power bracelets -> deku leaf (requires magic to be used) -> skull hammer -> grappling hook (!!!!! any rope dart combat video would make this brutal) -> shovel -> hookshot -> Wind’s weird magic armour spell -> Hyoi pears if you feel like world-building
Part 2: Sky, Time, Twi, Wars and Wild
#linked universe#writing tools#with the exception of Wind everyone here has a 2D game which does limit the animations you can mimic in writing#also? Wind Waker's combat??? ITS SO SMOOTH WTF????#i need to get that game or watch a full playthrough#lu four#lu hyrule#lu legend#lu wind#bc of the technological limits when Hyrule's games came out he's kinda hard to analyse properly sorry bud o7#I am DETERMINED to work out how to use Hyrule's ladder in a fight#it has literally haunted me for almost an entire year#one day#linked universe meta#Lu meta#combat meta#i'm not including mole mitts raised in interlink-au's reblog bc I don't think they'd be good in a fight#in the sense that you're more likely to break your fingers punching something with them#i dunno im agonising over this

i am confused
Making this its own separate post + expanding on it so it doesn’t get lost in the quagmire that is the book 7 part 8 update 💀
Feel free to let me know your own thoughts or theories too, I’m just rambling here.
***Spoilers below the cut!!***
So like… Is anyone else confused as to how Silver can use his UM Meet in a Dream so many times with NO ONE making a comment about how he's building up a considerable amount of blot???????
Vargas Camp seems to suggest that using one's UM typically uses up a considerable amount of magic compared to a non-UM spell. (The boys felt it would be dangerous to cast UM without at least a sizable magestone.) This is not true of all UMs though; Kalim's Oasis Maker, for example, allows him to offer up a small amount of magic to produce a great amount of water. So let's say for argument's sake that Silver's UM is similar to Kalim's and does not require a ton of magic per use. (Edit: this detail is confirmed true in the recent update.)
But??? That still doesn't make a ton of sense???? Silver was in constant battles against Silver Owls while in Lilia's dream, meaning he is physically being chipped away at. No matter how physically fit, capable, or well-trained he is, Silver is only human and his stamina and perseverance has its limits. He also suffered immense emotional distress in Lilia's dream after realizing that he is the son of the man who killed Malleus's mother ON TOP of having doubts that he is worthy of Lilia's love AND fixating on how no matter how hard he tries, he can never truly "pay back" his father. I guess it can be argued that the pixies healed them on their trek (+ there was that one scene where Lilia and co. rest in a Silver Owls camp) and that Silver "got over" his feelings after Sebek shouted at him about how much Silver is loved... Even then, that's not really a good explanation??? Silver climbed up those daunting mountains surrounding Castle Blackscale--mountains which have oppressive magic that harms humans. This is POST-pixie encounter, so he'd still be walking in with damage from that, not to mention the blow of lightning magic he took from Maleanor???? I'd also think that while Sebek's pep talk (well, pep shout) helped clear Silver's head, it wouldn't invoke a sudden character change on the spot; Silver would no doubt still have lingering feelings and would need time to properly sort them out and reconcile with them. They haven't been addressed in full yet, at least not until Silver can like get some closure on his own terms, maybe by sitting down and talking with Lilia about everything they learned. (That's definitely a topic for post book 7 though.) Now think about how many times Silver is expected to use his UM. At minimum, he has already used it 4 times (to show up in Yuu's dream, then to hop into Sebek's dream, then Lilia's, then Idia's). In the most recent update, Silver has used it no less than an additional 4 times (to jump from Idia's dream to Epel's, then to Rook's, then to Vil's, then to presumably a Scarabia boy's which is where the next update will likely pick up). THAT'S ALREADY 8 TIMES????? And he has like 11 or 12 more dreams to visit, including having to jump back to Idia’s dream and then prep for fighting Malleus???? It's like 20 times Silver is expected to use his UM, with very little down time in between because... oh yeah, TWISTED WONDERLAND IS ABOUT TO HAVE ETERNAL NAP TIME IF THEY DON'T HURRY TF UP 🤡 That's not even mentioning the increased loads each time Silver casts his UM (since they're collecting students like Pokemon to gang up on Malleus). If previous UMs imply anything, more people should make it more difficult to pull off a spell. Ruggie had to use a magic-enhancing potion to control a whole statium, Cater is strained the more clones he creates at any given time. Jamil's hypnosis magic cast upon a group causes him to accumulate blot so much faster. Shouldn't this be a major concern for Silver??????? Should I be concerned for Silver????????
Don't get me wrong, I love that we're able to dream hop and see what each of the main cast characters are dreaming of, but 💦 I don't know if I should be worried or not about Silver's health???????? Because I could see why the devs would just hand wave it off in this instance (cuz how else are they going to travel to each dream and save the world? They're kind of on a time crunch here...), but at the same time I can see it going the other way and sort of breaking immersion?? Unless this is all intentional and they're going to jumpscare us with a Silver OB or him struggling against it later in book 7 💀 (I mean... the guy hasn't gotten his limited SSR for book 7 yet, so maybe it'll be related to this???)
Or is it just possible for him to break the limits of his magic since this is a dream...? We’ve seen other characters OB at will and be able to seemingly stay rational while in that form... but if that's the case, then why does Silver still feel tired and physically worn down in Lilia's dream after fighting so much? Why do they worry about taking too many hits and actually dying within the dreams? Can't he theoretically stay at "perfect" health after using his magic so much???
Does it not count as using “real” magic since they’re in a dream and therefore have much more flexibility in how they spellcast?? Or is it that it’s their dream!selves casting so it’s not real magic since it’s not their physical forms spellcasting…? Is blot accumulation slowed since Silver is technically sleeping and rest helps with healing from blot?? But then how does that impact their real bodies if at all?
I DON'T KNOW, I'M CONFUSED OTL

Hello! I found the silt verses about three weeks ago and have listened to it several times since. I have a few things to say.
I absolutely adore that episode about the national grid workers. I think it’s my favorite episode of any podcast I’ve ever listened to. My favorite part of that first episode Paige is in is how she justifies not standing up for Vaughn, that cognitive dissonance that you wrote so well. This episode gives me what I wanted from that episode, the workers all banding together to stop the wasteful sacrifice of one of them. The actor who played the foreman did an incredible job as well. I think that having him discuss which of his workers he would sacrifice was such a significant moment, despite how brief it is. It cuts right to the big question that I took away from the podcast which is, “How much is someone willing to sacrifice in order to maintain their comfort?” And the utter disrespect of Glodditch (apologies for the spelling) refusing to cancel even the radio but asking grid workers to kill themselves for 200kw/h! Top tier episode.
I grew up in the south and went to college in Appalachia. I saw the disparity in technology and “advancement” if that makes sense that poverty brings, and the way you set up the world invokes that feeling in me again. You are an amazing world builder and storyteller.
I really enjoyed the cameos - I’m a big fan of malevolent/devisor, Old gods of Appalachia, and all of Jonny sims work, so hearing familiar voices was an absolute delight. Harlan Guthrie as an acolyte of the snuff gods might have been a bit too on the nose with some of the things that man writes, though… /pos
I’m transmasculine, and something that I really appreciate is how you manage to make a trans man do some objectively awful things, but still manage to make him a complex, full character that I was rooting for very frequently. Brother Faulkner is so, so important to me as a character. Paula Vogel has a play called “Indecent,” which is about the true story of a troupe of I believe German Jewish actors between the years of 1910ish and 1940s putting on a show called “God of Vengeance” by Sholem Asch, also a Jewish man. “God of Vengeance” has queer themes and received a lot of criticism from the Jewish community for showing Jewish folks in a “bad” light at a time when there was already so much hatred for Jewish people. Brother Faulkner being as complex and, in my opinion, malicious and cutthroat as he is at a time when trans people face so much bigotry, especially legislatively in the United States, brings this conversation about “God of Vengeance” up again for me. I also love how normalized non-binary people are in this world, without question. “Sibling this or that,” the hunter, adjudicator Shrew - big thanks from me for all of this.
All of this to say, I love this podcast. Can you talk more about the rhetorical gods? Is Babble one? What makes them one if they are, or why aren’t they? I’m fascinated by them. Can you talk more about the propaganda gods too?
Thank you so much for the thoughtful and kind words!
I'll check out Indecent, it sounds really interesting and I'm very glad to hear Faulkner works for you as a character. I think the topic of how to include and write queer characters who are capable of terrible things and thoughts (because, after all, these characters are human beings and not tutelary exemplars), within the context of both a rising movement of transphobia right now and centuries-old scapegoating / pathologising portrayals more generally, is a really knotty but a really important one, and I always want to make sure I'm approaching it with care and due responsibility as well as a sense of humility around the limitations of what, as a cis writer, I can actually achieve.
To that end, I don't want to ever take the audience response for granted, but I'm always really grateful to hear that the portrayal is working for a listener!
Propaganda gods: gods whose prayer-marks or ritual verses are fed directly to the enemy, enforcing destructive or sabotaging changes to reality (so rather than sending a destructive saint or angel to rampage over the foe, you might drop pamphlets or send radio messages to the enemy to 'convert' them).
Rhetorical gods: gods whose followers possess reality-warping powers of language itself (which is why 'rhetorical god' is a polite way of saying 'liar's god'). In other words, the paranoia around them comes partly down to the fact that a disciple like Val may appear to be a limitless shaper of new forms, rather than shaped into a limited form of their own, as a result of their worship.

Oh oh oh . How about some headcannons of how would react the rogues to vigilant who is holding back their strenght ? In a battle against a great treat, Vigilant show their true strenght, their capacities and powers of great destructions.
amazing prompt! if I left anyone and/or you'd like me to flesh out anything lemme know!
Bane
is obsessed. strength is the way to his heart.
genuinely infatuated with you. he loves that he doesn't have to worry about you. in fact, its a big weight off of his mind.
bane needs someone of equal or even bigger strength and power than him, even if that strength is not physical.
he might question you on where you obtained this power, whether you're a meta human or you were trained. bane wants to know about it! out of curiosity more than anything.
Riddler/Edward Nygma
OH- well brilliant darling! now if the bat comes along he wont have to worry about being beaten to a pulp!
speaking of... he's going to try (as hard as he of all people can) to not get on your bad side.
is curious about your power too! like a riddle he wants to solve the cause, limits and origins of this power, especially if you're a metahuman!
he's the type of guy to clap his hands and ask you to perform whatever abilities you have! more applause will ensue if you feed his curiosity and show him what you're capable of!
Scarecrow/Jonathan Crane
how beautifully terrifying!
Oh this opens many opportunities to spread fear! i mean your power! it could be utilised for world domination! but he does respect your existing morals and beliefs.
he sees you as some brilliant force for good that oh so wonderfully contrasts with him.
you're a warrior of peace and valour, whereas he is the harbinger of fear and woe.
thinks of you highly, as he did before this great display of strength.
TwoFace/Harvey Dent
Already respected you for your morals and code. this will only make them respect you more.
you've faced trauma and violence head on and now you're a liberator of sorts. They can remember a time when they were that person for Gotham.
they almost feel a sense of peace that you are the one now who is there to protect Gotham's citizens and bring justice to those who deserve it.
does get that sense of "oh shit that's the person I've been fighting?? they've been going EASY on me?"
Harley Quinn
oh my hero!! she loves it! you're so strong and hot hehehe
please please please punch joker in his narstie little face for her please.
Strength is a good thing for her too! she admires how strong you are after all you've been through.
and now you've got these super cool powers! how fun!!
she's already telling you about some schemes or ideas she has involving your powers.
she really hopes you'll take her up on them even if you stay as a vigilante.
Clayface/Basil Karlo
that's hawwtt.
sorry! I'm just telling you that its 100% his first thought about it.
like excuse me but now he admires you even more! (somehow)
he's got posters of you and everything.
he forgets who's side he's on and is suddenly a superhero/vigilante lover!
honestly, he might as well since know he knees THAT power and person has been his enemy?? he's finished.
Killer Croc/Waylon Jones
genuinely that one meme of the guy grabbing either side of his head, mouth agape in shock.
has the same thought as basil where he's like "omg what the fuccckk? he's been trying to fight you and you can do THAT?!
besides that... its cool.
he definitely has even more of a crush on you now.. what can he say? he loves a person in power!
its nice to know you can handle yourself!
also good that you probably wont break if he touches you
