It doesn’t matter if you haven’t inherited a big technique, as long as you have the family name. You must be weaker than him, however, he still wants you to be able to protect yourself and have, at least, some basic knowledge on martial arts. He wants a feminine, traditional and submissive woman and housewife. He prefers a woman who doesn't ask questions or demand explanations, who is obedient, who isn't possessive or jealous, who accepts everything he says and believes he's right all the time. He would enjoy someone who praises him and boosts his ego, fabricating countless compliments about the mighty sorcerer Naoya, of the Great Zenin clan. This man is also pretty simple in regards to the type of women he likes. He will not be interested in someone who he doesn't respect. To him, respect is earned and there is only one way to achieve it – you need to be an unforgettably strong sorcerer who, somehow, ends up having the honor to fight him. If he acknowledges your strength, you become worthy of his respect, therefore, you may find a way to his heart. He wants a woman who shares the same values, as him, in regards to what he considers as true jujutsu. You must be able to take care of yourself and be somewhat independent. He would control some aspects of your life, but overall, he allows you to have some freedom. Sukuna wants someone who values his strength, who praises him and boosts his ego, as well. He doesn't want someone who is too clingy or emotional. He prefers a more calm, collected and composed woman. She needs to be respectful and have good manners towards him and those who he deems strong. He isn’t the loyal type either, but will demand that you remain faithful to him. Throughout his countless fights, there will be other powerful sorcerers who he will, eventually, come to acknowledge and that will get him laid many times. Gege said Gojo wears sunglasses when he goes out to "meet" women (he was definitely trying to say “to fool around with women”, but in a more polite way). Out of all men in this list, Gojo is the only one who would be willing to date a non-sorcerer, however, getting in a relationship with him and keeping him would be extremely difficult. He loves women of any size, personality and personal interests. He doesn’t think of an ideal type because he doesn't want to be in a relationship. This man enjoys the thrill of the chase and after he gets what he wants (if you catch my drift), he disappears. In case he doesn’t get his way, he will absolutely just move on and find someone else willing to give in to his natural charms. It’s a cycle in which he makes sure his primal urges are satiated, without having to create a bond with someone or invest into a relationship (which, requires commitment, trust and effort, that he isn’t willing to pour). He notices attractive looking women, approaches them with his witty personality, flirts with them for a bit, manages to have sex with them, then disappears, never to be seen or heard from again. I believe Gojo isn't aware of his emotional needs and neglects them a lot, so having someone who can read and predict him and his emotional needs (even the ones he isn’t aware he has) is very important. He picks on Utahime, for being weak, however we don’t see him being interested in her (in fact, Gege said that Utahime actually hates Gojo). When he realizes he might be catching feelings for you, he will distance himself and never show up in your life again, however, he will watch you from afar, making sure you’re able to move on and find someone else. If you aren’t able to move on, I don’t think he would run after you, either. He would be sad, knowing you’re still waiting for him, but would not give in to his feelings nonetheless, because he knows it’s the best for both of you. He knows he wouldn’t be able to be there for you all the time and he can’t bear the idea that if something happened to you, it would be all his fault. Gojo is a man who values freedom, who enjoys having fun and experiencing the best things life has to offer (expensive clothing, which is canon he does like; women, which is canon he enjoys to fool around with; sweets, which he is canonically obsessed with, etc). All this man seems to care about is mastering techniques, growing stronger and becoming more powerful and well-versed in every single aspect of jujutsu, which means, everything else is cast aside (including finding a partner).

He was spoiled since he was born, put in a pedestal, adored and seen as some perfect God-like human specimen and everybody puts great trust on him (or we could rephrase this and say the world puts a great burden on his shoulders). I don't see a way a woman could get into his heart. We don't see any particular love interest that could arise in the manga or the anime. He knows how to make sure he doesn't catch feelings for anyone and how to keep his distance from women. If he fell in love with you and was absolutely certain that you are the one who he wants to spend his life with, he would be faithful. However, he would still flirt once in a while with women (or playfully tease them). It's his particular way of socializing with people. He doesn’t see it as flirting or teasing but everybody else interprets it that way. I definitely see him going for a girl who sees through him an doesn't fall for his charms or his antics. That woman would have to see him as an average guy and genuinely remain unbothered by his chaotic presence. He wants a partner who embraces different perspectives and who is able to get along with someone who may think the opposite way. He wants someone who will be faithful to him, won’t break his heart and won't get mad at him, whether he is away on a mission or just having some time alone. When external circumstances make him stressed, he won’t open up to you (yes, he has trust issues that are impossible to overcome and you have to accept that. We are all vulnerable, but he is extremely uncomfortable with being and feeling vulnerable). Instead, he will prefer to spend some time alone and expects you to understand and respect that.

You must not forget to pay the bills and do the housekeeping chores because, to him, that is boring and he will be forgetful and lazy about it. He hates being bossed around. He needs a partner who is hard to read and will give him stimulating challenges every day. He would look for someone adventurous, non-judgmental and open to new experiences, who has a quick mind and can juggle among different topics in a conversation and is well-known in all of them. He would want a partner who thinks outside the box and suggests ideas that nobody else could ever think of or come up with. His love language would be gift giving (not expensive goods or commodities, but simple gifts, such as deserts that he brings from his missions and that's it). I'm sorry... snake paper? Are things heating up in the snake researcher fandom?

16 February 2024: A team of researchers (including a generally well-respected anaconda expert) found minimal and partly contradictory genetic differences in green anacondas over an enormous area, summarily dismissed all previous work on the taxonomy of green anacondas, and gave the mitochondrial lineage concerned a new name, along the way making some huge fumbles that show plainly that they have no idea how taxonomy works or what certain technical terms mean. They published the work in a journal from a suspect publishing house that is known to rush, skip, or ignore peer review as and when it suits them. And apparently there was some suspicious funding involved, though I don’t know much about that. They made a media storm with ‘a new anaconda!’ but within minutes there were people raising huge red flags about the paper, for the reasons enumerated above and others.

The response from ‘the community’ has been swift and harsh, but mostly fair, in my view. The discussion on ResearchGate reflects this pretty well. There are some bad takes about keeping ‘wokism’ out of science; I would argue that it remains critical to incorporate native peoples, knowledge, and languages into taxonomic work—just not the way this was done, in flagrant and intentional conflict with the established methods and protocols. There are also responses in the discussion by the lead author that show that he is evidently impervious to all of this criticism, and stands by the belief that the work and taxonomic reasoning is sound.

19 March 2024: two papers were published simultaneously in Bionomia, that both enumerate and rebut the problems of the original paper. And I know there are more on the way, though I don’t know if they are all going to be completed now that two responses have already been published.

The one thing I would weigh in on from my perspective is that it is the *taxonomy*, and not necessarily the evidence presented in the paper, that is the biggest problem. Species are described based on mitochondrial data alone all the time. Some of the results are quite interesting. But the taxonomy of the paper is a mess, full of contradictions, cherry-picking, and terminological errors. In the hands of competent taxonomists, the work might have been much more difficult to dispute. But also, no competent taxonomist would have assigned a new name to this lineage; there are too many existing names that would have priority, if it is worth recognising.

Undoing public perception of there being a new anaconda species will take years, if it can ever really be achieved. Always easier for media stories to go around than corrections.

TL;DR big snake paper made big mistakes, and within a month was dismissed. It has probably done lasting damage to perception of anaconda diversity.

Hobbies need to be accessible. I believe that it’s becoming more and more important for people to have physical hobbies that create real things and develop real skills--giving people a sense of accomplishment and overcoming feelings of helplessness. I was reading this book where this guy argues that people should develop areas of “micromastery” when getting into a hobby. Find one small, achievable, but still impressive task to master, so you have a cool skill to show off (and the sense of accomplishment) without having to master an entire huge area of knowledge. Instead of learning to cook, learn to create a really good omelet. Instead of learning an entire new language, learn to count to ten. And then you have a knowledge base to help you if you want to explore further. Seems very common sense. Very accessible. Learning is for everyone, not just people who want to devote tons of time to a new hobby. But even that guy, in his instructions, keeps telling people to buy the most expensive equipment to have the best possible results. There’s even a point where he says “the more expensive, the better”!

That infuriates me. I am enraged. The guy who’s trying to make learning accessible to the masses is now saying this is the realm only of the rich! It’s telling people to buy into the marketing ploy that more expensive is automatically better! It’s absurd. It’s insane. There probably is equipment that improves the outcome of the final product, but it’s not necessarily the most expensive stuff, and you certainly don’t need the expensive stuff when you’re just starting out!

Yet, tutorials and craft books keep pushing this message. If you want to start drawing, you need an expensive sketch book and seven different pencils and different weights of pen, and the right eraser. If you want to bake, you have to have the best flours and the appropriate sourdough technique. If you want to knit, you better have the expensive yarn. That’s garbage, and it makes things more difficult than they need to be.

When you’re just starting out, you’re learning if you even like the activity. Do I like spending time drawing? Do I even like the process of knitting or woodworking or building model airplanes? It’s pointless to spend tons of money on good yarn only to find that you hate the process of knitting. Pointless to get the good pencils when the process of drawing makes you want to crawl out of your skin.

If you want to try something, just try it! As simply and cheaply as possible. Want to draw? Get a free pencil and a bit of notebook paper. Want to knit? Get a pair of knitting needles from the thrift store and some dollar store yarn. As you get deeper into the hobby, you’ll probably want to upgrade your supplies--but now that you know more about the process, you know what problems can be solved by better supplies.

I was always intimidated by bookbinding--the tutorials always talked about having the right glue and the right book press--until a guy in the comments said, “I use Elmer’s Glue and my laptop.” I could manage that! That was accessible! I got some glue and some big textbooks and made a book! Not perfect, but it wouldn’t have been perfect even if I had the fancy supplies--I was just starting out! “Maybe if we kissed in… some other places.” The latter half is said against your skin as she wraps her arms around your waist to draw you in closer. You can’t help but melt into her arms as she begins to trail kisses down your neck, and the lower she gets the more open-mouthed they become. She grins wickedly when you start to make those little noises at the back of your throat that she loves to draw out of you.

“So sensitive,” she murmurs, her hands beginning to slide lower. Her eyes meet yours and they’re dark and stormy in the way that sets your stomach alight.

“Katie,” you pant, and she pauses to look up at you. “Maybe we shouldn’t— if you’re so seriously injured,” you try breathlessly, and she laughs. (The sound sends a little shiver up your spine. You adore her laugh.)

“You know I’ll eat pussy no matter what’s wrong with me,” she retorts, and you feel your face heat up. Yes, you do know that. You know it from experience. There was a time she had a broken nose, and — well — the activities she roped you into didn’t help that broken nose.

Part of it is guilt, you think. You’re pretty much lying to her — or lying by omission, anyway — when you continue to pretend you’re not breaking the most important rule. You kind of feel like you’re violating her. She didn’t sign up for her dumb fuckbuddy hopelessly pining after her.

But also, you’re beginning to feel that maybe you deserve happiness. Maybe you deserve better than being the dumb fuckbuddy who hopelessly pines. You want to love, and be loved. You can’t stomach meaningless sex anymore, and you can’t stomach being meaningless to Kate.

Maybe if this ends now, you and Kate can still salvage your friendship.

This makes you shoot out of bed. You’ve taken the definitely-not-breakup hard, and pretty much haven’t left your bed in the two weeks since you last saw Kate, much less your apartment. You’re just not ready to face Kate in a social setting. One on one, though, is probably manageable. At least if it goes downhill no one else will see you cry. “I really missed you,” she murmurs quietly, and your breath hitches. You weren’t expecting any of this. She holds you close to her for a moment longer before finally letting you go. You don’t really know what to do with yourself, so you just step aside and let her into your apartment, closing the door behind her.

She wanders into the middle of your room, intently taking in everything like it’s her first visit. It’s not — far from it — and not much has changed since she was last here. There’s a moment of silence, and you can see the cogs turning in her brain. She’s building herself up to something. You don’t know what exactly, you don’t know what’s about to happen, but she’s got that faraway look in her eye.

“Kate,” you say tentatively, “what—”

To Y/N, Jude was the most perfect man and the most perfect boyfriend. He was supportive, generous, and loving and never failed to put a smile on her face and cheer her up when she had a difficult day.

So, when she had gotten the highest test score in one of her university classes, Y/N expected Jude to share her excitement. Any achievement Jude accomplished, Y/N was always the first to congratulate him and tell him how proud she was.

She had rushed back to their shared home to tell him the great news and found him lounging on the sofa when she got there. He was so engrossed in whatever he was watching on his phone that he didn’t even notice his girlfriend’s arrival.

“Jude, Jude, guess what!” Y/N exclaimed excitedly.

“What?” he replied, his tone dismissive and uninterested.

His tone throwing her off slightly, Y/N continued, “I got the highest exam score in my class. My professor was telling me that my essays were all perfect.”

Syzoth lost his wife and children because of Shang and after everything he found himself alone, lost in the world. He liked to walk in some parks and see families, fathers and mothers, children playing, it was a sadness but a necessary and nostalgic sadness for him.

You were someone alone too, so it seems that fate brought you two together.

Syzoth saw you from afar, doing the same thing as him, just observing everything and having no one to call home. So he decided to go talk to you for a bit, starting to bring up the topic about the weather, smiling when he saw that you responded to him.

He began to loosen up more as he watched you with affection, he had really felt a family connection, as if he had always been part of your family, a lost older brother. He even joked about it, that he hadn't felt so good in a while, as if you were part of his family, something you took as a compliment.

He asked your name and walked you home because it was already late.

You soon feel sorry for Syzoth because of his life story, alone and without family, he was sweet to you so, you decided to invite him to dinner which made the man's green irises shine and he blushed, it had been a while since he had someone to talk to and have company for a meal.

Syzoth genuinely praised your food, smiling as he captured every nuance of the room, even touching some things curiously - apologizing soon after for being too invasive -

You talked all night, your company made his heart race and his desire to take care of you increased with every second. He would ask if you wanted to see him the next day and offer to help you with anything around the house.

Then, when you least realized it, Syzoth lived with you periodically.

He liked to take you places, accompanying you like a loving older brother would, telling you how proud he was of 'X' achievement, hugging you afterwards.

But he also liked Affection, especially on the nights he remembered the traumatic memories caused by Shang Tsung.

You were there, to hug him and give him a friendly shoulder or rather a brotherly shoulder.

Syzoth would allow himself to cry while lying on your lap, venting how difficult the grief was/is being for him, that you had become his family, and that he considered you a younger brother that he would always take care of and so he did.

Syzoth would sleep with you in each other's arms, afraid of you leaving his side - he snores and drools in his sleep, get used to that too - he hugs you like a teddy bear.

And if you complain he'll joke and flick your forehead, calling you "Little brat" and that he was your big brother.

Please call him "big brother", "brother", "dad" even "father" he likes to know that he has a familiar role in your life.

He also knows all your friends, worrying about calling you if you're taking too long.

"-Are you okay (Y/N)? What a scare, please don't leave me blind, give me news ok?" -Syzoth would speak worriedly while kissing you on the forehead and offering a hot meal - he learned to cook just to keep you well fed -

If you meet someone and have a child, that man will be 10 times more protective of you and your child. He will help you during your pregnancy, carrying you in his arms to appointments and if someone dares to touch you in a negative way, he will pull the guy's collar and say in a thick tone:

"-Don't ever mess with my little brother/sister again, you hear?"

He will always take care of you, regardless of what happens, even if you two fight one day, he will find a way to apologize, after all, Syzoth may not have your blood, but he is your brother.

Bonus: Syzoth taught your son/daughter to speak, with the child's first words being "Uncle Syzoth" which made him practically cry, while you and your partner laughed at his excitement.

Syzoth cried at your wedding more than you did, and made you promise not to forget him as a brother, and you did, your partner invited him to live in your house and he lives happily, always helping you in whatever way he can.

A/N: Hello there, thank you so much for your request! I'll be honest, I knew very little about this topic before researching for this, so I really hope this is at least a little accurate. All of the headcanons are quite lighthearted, except for a few mentions of Simon's past, I didn't include any details though. I hope you enjoy! 💜

Characters: Simon "Ghost" Riley, Johnny "Soap" MacTavish, Kyle "Gaz" Garrick, John Price, Alejandro Vargas, Rodolfo Parra.

Simon "Ghost" Riley

-Simon loves you to hell and back, he loves who you are, he loves how passionate you are about what you do… but he stays as far away from your job as he possibly can. His past with his father and the dangerous animals he used to torment him with, has left a scar that will never heal completely, so it's very difficult for him to get too close to your profession.   

-Despite his necessity to stay a safe distance away from what you do, the last thing Simon wants is for you to think that he isn't proud of your achievements, or that he doesn't support your career. He tries to be there for you as much as he possibly can, and he celebrates with you every step of the way. 

-Simon listens to everything you tell him, every story about what you've seen while away that you want to share, and every little fun fact or discovery you've learned or made, although sometimes he can get a bit uncomfortable. Pictures tend to be a big no for him, especially if it is a photo of you too close to something he used to fear so deeply, it brings back memories that are hard to shake for the rest of the day.

-Because of this, Simon does his best to open up to you, and show you how much he cares. He tries to explain his past to you as best as he can, but without going into details. He just wants you to know that although at times he might seem a bit unsupportive of what you do, it is just because he can get unsettled by it. Still, the fact that you are so incredibly different from his father helps tremendously, and with time, he starts to get a bit more comfortable with it.

-While snakes freak him the hell out, and he absolutely refuses to even see you handle one, mostly because he gets a feeling of worry for you that logic can't dispel, he's way more chill with animals like lions, tigers, elephants and the like.

Simon also has a strange fascination with those animals that are generally considered “creepy” or “harbingers of death”, like hyenas and vultures. 

Johnny "Soap" MacTavish 

-Johnny absolutely loves your job, he thinks it's one of the coolest things ever, especially when it comes to field work. He's always been a bit of an animal person, and honestly, anything that is big and scary fascinates him. If his vocation hadn't always been the military, he could genuinely see himself doing what you do.

-And for that reason, Johnny has begged you a hundred times to let him come along for at least one of your expeditions. He argues that the fact that he is a soldier will prevent him from getting in the way, and he definitely knows how to stay quiet when he wants to, also he gives you the cutest puppy eyes in the world. If you do decide to let him accompany you, he'll be true to his word, and he'll make for a great adventure partner despite his lack of training. Once the two of you are back at your accommodations though, be prepared to be drowned in questions, he wants to know everything about the things you two saw during the day.

-On the same note, if you are a marine biologist, Johnny will 100% ask you to come scuba diving with you. He's quite a bit of an adrenaline junkie, and he's going to secretly hope to meet some kind of big, scary shark the whole time.

-Johnny genuinely believes you're one of the bravest people he knows, and he knows a lot of them. You have to be quite fearless to do what you do, and to get so close to so many things that could kill you while remaining completely calm. And also, at times you have to stay in the wild, working, even for twelve hours straight, you have to trek through very difficult terrains, more often than not with terrible atmospheric conditions. He admires you for it so much, he thinks your passion, determination and resilience are truly inspiring.

-Johnny has a fascination with big, wild, dangerous predators. Lions, tigers, wolves, bears… they are all extremely interesting to him, and he really, really wants to try and pet them, despite knowing that it would be a terrible idea. Another thing he finds really interesting is the way animals fight, he doesn't like seeing them hurt of course, but the claws and the teeth are incredibly fascinating to him.

-Johnny will without a doubt ask you to make a list of the top ten wild animals you think are the scariest or the most dangerous, and he'll definitely make you go into details about it.  

-Despite how unbothered he is by wild animals that could kill him in a heartbeat, Johnny isn't very fond of insects of any kind, so you're going to have to be the designated “creepy crawlers banisher” of your household, especially if you don't want them to get squashed.

Kyle "Gaz" Garrick 

-Kyle doesn't really know how he feels about your job, on one hand, it's clear how happy it makes you, and he is in complete awe anytime he sees you working, no matter what you're doing, but on the other hand, he always ends up worrying about you. He knows you're trained, and he knows you can handle it perfectly well, but anytime he hears you are in the middle of nowhere and he is not there with you, he can't help but get a bit anxious about it. He's never going to complain about it though, not with anyone else, and especially not with you, he's not a hypocrite, he's a soldier, and he knows you're constantly afraid for his safety, so he would never risk making you feel bad for making him worry.

-If there's anything about your job that you want to tell him, he's going to be all ears, he finds your job incredibly fascinating, and he has a ton of questions about it. But despite his interest in it, Kyle is never going to ask you to join you, he'd much rather stay a safe distance away.

-There are many, many types of wild animals, and altho lions, tigers and other predators are cool, Kyle is much more interested in the elephants, giraffes, zebras and the like. He finds them so incredibly unique, and he really appreciates how tranquil they tend to be.

-Kyle has a notebook filled with all the fun facts you've told him about, and more often than not he shares every new one you tell him with the rest of the team. 

-Kyle has a, somewhat irrational, fear of chimpanzees. He can't help but find how human they look disturbing, especially when it comes to their eyes, he's sure they have murder on their minds. Also he's heard some horror stories that were enough to give him nightmares, and that's not an easy task.

-On a more positive note, he's also really fascinated by marine life. Anything from squids, to seahorses, to jellyfishes, to orcas… they are all so unique and different from each other, and Kyle loves hearing anything and everything you have to share about them. You might even convince him to come scuba diving with you at some point.

-If you ever see something upsetting during field work, like some kind of gruesome scene, Kyle will always be ready to offer you his shoulder to cry on. Even when the two of you are far apart, he's going to stay on the phone with you for hours if you need him to. He knows how much you care about animals, and he knows how big your heart is, he is always going to be understanding when you are upset.

John Price 

-John can't help but be constantly worried for your safety, no matter how much he trusts you and your expertise, he knows how unpredictable certain things can be. He checks up on you any time he can while you are doing field work, and he absolutely insisted on being your emergency contact. Although he is incredibly proud of you, he still answers every single one of your phone calls with “Everything alright?”, and he still gives you a hundred safety lessons that you are most probably never going to need.

-He's mostly stressed you'll end up getting stuck in the middle of nowhere, with no signal to call for help, maybe bitten by something poisonous. He's a little paranoid about it, considering you know exactly what you're doing, but he can't help but sigh in relief anytime you come back home safe and sound.  

-You've explained to him how sometimes your job also consists in rescuing some of the animals you come across, and John thinks that's the most beautiful part of the work you do. He wants to hear all the stories you have to share about it, from the moment you find the poor beast, to the entire process of their recovery and rehabilitation. He will want updates every step of the way, and he will encourage you to not give up even when things look bleak or it all gets extremely tiring. No matter if in the end you succeed or not, John will be with you, either cheering with you, or giving you a shoulder to cry on. No matter the outcome, he knows better than anyone else how hard you've worked, and that you've done everything you could, and he's never going to let you forget that.  

-One time, you sent John a video of you handling a giant, venomous snake, and he almost had a heart attack. He swears he lost years of his life. Did he think it was badass? definitely. Does he ever want to see it again? absolutely not.

-Despite being worried for your safety, John loves when you send him pictures of all those secluded places you travel to, he's alway been fascinated by the beauty of uncontaminated nature. When you tell him all about the cool things you've seen, he will share his own experiences with you. Sure, the places he has seen are not nearly as peaceful, but it's still one of his favourite topics of conversation.  

-The life of a wildlife biologist isn't all about field work, but it's also discoveries and many, many hours spent in front of your computer trying to put together and analyse all the collected data. Every job has its not so glamorous side, John would know that, so he makes sure to support you just as much when it comes to that. 

-Of all the animals you usually encounter, John is particularly fond of bears. He wouldn't be able to tell you why, but he loves it every time you have new stories to share about them.

Alejandro Vargas 

-Alejandro is so incredibly proud of you, of how much passion you put into what you do, of how hard you work, and how determined you are. He really thinks you rival even him when it comes to giving it your all for what you believe in. He is loud with his praise, letting you and anyone around hear it clearly, and he's not afraid to compliment you everyday.

-Whenever you send him pictures, whether it's the beautiful places you see, the incredible wildlife you encounter, or a video to show him the difficult terrain you've just traversed, Alejandro will show all of it to the Vaqueros as well. As I've said, he's incredibly proud of you, and his men are pretty much his second family, so it's not surprising that he'll brag about you with them. Not that they mind, Alejandro is their family as well, and as his partner, you are too. When he has the chance to call you and answer you, you'll hear both him and many of his men in the background complimenting you, telling you you're doing a great job, and to come drink at the bar with them when you come back home to tell them all you've seen.

-Alejandro has seen some of the conditions you've worked in, and many of the risky things you've done, and he genuinely believes you to be braver than some of the soldiers he knows, and he definitely doesn't hold back from telling you that.

-On the same note, although he's usually super chill when it comes to your job, Ale knows that some days can be absolutely exhausting for you. He's seen you travelling for hours on a boat during a storm, or trekking through dangerous terrains, he's seen you working for twelve hours straight, and camping in the cold… and even though luckily it's not often that this kind of things happen, he is always ready to be there for you if you need him, or even just cheer you on if he can't be by your side.

-You showed him a picture of you posing with a lion once, and let's just say that it made him feel… hot and bothered. Ale can't really help it, he just loves the way you are so fearless, and how fierce you look, it's a weakness of his.

-He is really, really interested in crocodiles. He is especially fascinated by their “death roll”, but he's going to listen attentively to any and every information or fun fact you can share with him. Alejandro is quite fearless himself, and he's actually seen a few crocodiles up close before, but he'll still ask you to come with you if you have any research to do on them. 

Rodolfo Parra 

-Rudy thinks your job is beautiful, especially the part of it that includes taking care of the animals you encounter, helping them heal, or teaching them how to take care of themselves if they were orphaned too early. And although he worries when you are away doing field work, he does his best to not let you notice it, you already have more than enough to worry about, and he doesn't want to add to it. He always asks you how you are feeling though, because yes, your job puts you at risk to get hurt, but he also knows that sometimes it might take a toll on your mental health, and he wants to be able to help you through those tough times. All in all, he just tries to take care of you without being overbearing.

-Rudy is surprisingly chill when it comes to scorpions, snakes and the like, even when they are poisonous. He has no problem dealing or getting close to them himself, and he doesn't mind watching you handle them, because he is well aware that you know exactly what you're doing. But that same logic, for some reason, did not apply that time he saw a picture of you, crouching way too close for his comfort to a tiger. It's a bit irrational, because the risk is more or less the same, but that was the first time he truly thought he was having a heart attack. 

-Rudy absolutely loves that you have a notebook filled with annotations about all the discoveries you make, and the species you observe, especially if you add little doodles of them.
