Wild take, but when Style says, "It's okay to love," I really don't think it's actually about love at all.
Let's consider the context leading up to this point: Fadel drives Style to an abandoned factory in the woods and leaves him alone to go and brood for a while. At least part of Fadel's goal is to scare Style, to give him a hint that Fadel is more dangerous than he seems.
But Style doesn't back down, doesn't go running, evidences no sense of self-preservation or worry; and at least on some level it's a clear sign that he trusts Fadel. Despite Fadel literally punching him in the stomach; despite Fadel mocking Style's honest and wanton desire; despite Fadel chasing him away, he still trusts Fadel to keep him safe.
Imagine how frustrated Fadel must be feeling. Style was only gone for one morning, but it was enough for Fadel to become painfully aware that he did not actually want Style gone from his life. He knows now that he won't have the strength to keep refusing Style's relentless pursuit, so he needs Style to be the one to walk away from him instead.
And I think this was a final, last-ditch attempt to make Style run away.
Notice that Fadel starts out rather threatening: "I don't like you messing up my life. My life has been planned out. You're disrupting it." At this point, Fadel could have still turned this violent; attack Style and leave him injured in an abandoned warehouse, and I'm not sure that wasn't still on Fadel's mind at this point. He's incredibly aggressive at first: shoving Style back against the bar, caging Style in between his rigid arms, rattling the metal frame behind Style to show his anger.
But oh, in the heat of the moment, the truth slips out. Fadel is admitting that Style has the power to bring change into his highly regimented and structured life. He's admitting that his desire to keep Style in his life has eclipsed his need for control and structure, in spite of himself.
The truth breaks Fadel open in ways that none of Style's machinations and schemes could. He finally recognises that it is his own feelings that are the true cause of his anger and frustration.
This is the point when Fadel finally gives up on the idea of hurting Style to chase him away. His voice softens (Joong's delivery of "I miss you" makes me weep), his shoulders finally relax, he stops caging Style against the bar and instead it's almost a tentative suggestion of a desire to hold Style.
And I think Style understood this on some instinctive level. Because if you watch Style very carefully, there's a moment of genuine fear when Fadel first shoves him against the bar and then he takes a grim breath like he's fighting off a sense of despair at the at the start of Fadel's rant. Like he could tell this one was going to be a 'make or break' kind of situation.
But when Fadel begins to unravel, when he admits that he was looking for Style when he was gone, there's this almost hopeful, anticipatory look that slowly blooms on Style's face. He's so hungry to see where this goes, and he's gets this intense almost wild look on his face when Fadel pauses to search for his words.
It's incredibly important that Style waited at this point. Style, who talks endlessly and without thought. Style, who demands that his story and his thoughts are aired first. Style, who has been telling Fadel this lie time and time again before Fadel’s feelings made it true... Stops. Waits. Stays silent. Because Fadel had to get there himself or not at all.
Dunk does something incredibly subtle here, but it blew me away: Style does not blink once throughout the entirety of Fadel's rant UNTIL he says "I don't like that I miss you". And that's when Style finally blinks as if it’s finally safe to take his eyes off Fadel. As if there's a wave of relief washing over him as the tension (and sense of danger) finally breaks.
He also does this incredible thing where he softens the look he's giving Fadel right before he drops his eyes down to Fadel's lips. (Joong has always been excellent at this, but Dunk didn’t really get that many opportunities to do this in previous roles). Style is treating this moment so carefully, and there's a purposefulness to this kiss that was entirely absent from the ones Style initiated in the locker room in episode 2.
I also think it's really important that Style was the one to kiss Fadel here. Not just because it juxtaposes the kiss in the store room, but also because Style has shown a strong preference for Fadel taking the initiative. He has been consistently creating opportunities for Fadel to lay hands on him, right from episode 1 when he put the Heart Burger pin on his chest and put his arms behind his head in welcome (and surrender).
But for this to be a functional relationship, Style has to take ownership of his own desire for Fadel. He cannot remain physically passive any longer, because this is the start of something bigger than just the thrill of being wanted. Style is looking beyond what he wants, potentially for the first time, to what his partner needs.
And I wonder, is this maybe the first time Fadel has allowed himself to be kissed since his ex left? There's something so fragile in the wide-shot. The way Fadel only has one hand barely touching Style's hip, while he's still got his other hand clenched tightly around the metal bar like he's desperately holding onto a lifeline. I have so many emotions about this.
Which is why I think this line wasn't really about love at all. This was Style responding to the vulnerability he sees in Fadel and offering reassurance in return. Because Fadel is strong and doesn't need protection, but oh yes he does, for it is his heart that is in danger of shattering.
There's an incredible line in episode 13 of Love In The Air, when Sky (in the aftermath of an extremely traumatic event and after finally revealing the full truth that he was sure would drive Prapai away) turns to Prapai and asks, "P'Pai, can I really love you?" Sky is asking if his fragile heart is really going to be safe in Prapai's hands.
And I think this is exactly what Style is getting at here: He's telling Fadel It's okay to love me. That Style is safe to love. That Fadel can take the risk to let Style into his heart because Style isn't going to take it lightly.
And it's this reassurance that finally allows Fadel to let go: both figuratively (as he starts to take control of the kiss and the encounter) and literally (as he transfers his hold from the metal bar to Style's body). Even the contrast in the wider shots between the kiss before Style says "It's okay to love" and after is startling.
This wasn't really a love confession, not in the conventional understanding of it. But for Fadel, who's mother "loves" Bison and himself for their utility and usefulness, perhaps the assurance of safety is more important.
And for Style, who seems so naive and inexperienced and ignorant of the way the world works in ways that suggest he's never truly had to grow up, this is far more significant. Because he's taking responsibility of someone else's heart for the first time in a way that I don't think he's ever allowed himself before. I said before that Style would be forced to grow up and I do believe this is what we are seeing here.
So no, I don't think this was the moment of "falling in love" but I do think this was the start of something real and meaningful and purposeful that could have eventually blossomed into love for the both of them.
#and it would have been beautiful in its own way but Kant really ruined it immediately#although from a narrative standpoint I get why it had to happen#we’re going to see a flip now with Style retreating and Fadel chasing to figure out what’s wrong#and I’m also pretty exited to see that ngl#the heart killers#the heart killers the series#fadelstyle#fadel#style sattawat#joongdunk#joong archen#dunk natachai#thk meta#fadelstyle meta#hui talks thk#hui talks thai bl#thk ep 4

One Night With You
~ Part 3 ~
╰─..★.──────────╯
(Mike Schmidt x Reader)

Summary~ The night starts to heat up between you and Mike after a few shots. 1.7k word count
Read part 1 & part 2 for context <3
Tags~ SMUTTT, pet names, olderbf! Mike (you're 20, he's 28), fem reader, public-ish sex, dominant Mike, submissive reader, creampie, drinking
Note~ I wrote this is a day!!???!!! Big shout out to my coworker Malachi who helped me with the direction of this fic! Heads up, I did minimal proofreading on this hoe bc it's deadass 3am and I have to be up in 5 hours for work (send help). I'm debating if I want to continue with this story so if you want me to update lemme know :33
⊱✿⊰
Mike signals over to the bartender to bring out more shots, holding up four fingers. He nods at him as he drops off the drinks. "How 'bout two more, hm? Since you're soo confident..." he teases, a hint of competitiveness in his voice.
You furrow your brows with determination, "Fine! Don't expect me to drag you home when you black out though!"
"You actually think 3 shots are gonna fuck me up that bad? You're hilarious" he chuckles as he tilts his glass towards you. You take the shots in unison and glare at each other, scanning for any reactions to the alcohol.
Mike hiccups finally giving you the opportunity to pester him. "Aww is it too much for you? Should we slow down?" you assert in a sarcastic and flirtatious voice.
He flutters his eyes trying his best to adjust to the intoxication, "You won't be laughing when I say that to you later tonight..." Mike says while holding back a laugh
You punch him in the arm and giggle, "Oh yeah?" You gulp back your third shot, immediately feeling the sense of relaxation hit. It's like all your problems and worries fade away into nothingness when you drink. You meet Mike's gaze, wanting to hear more about him. "So... what's up with you lately? If you're going to take me out, the least you can do is tell me a few of your secrets."
"I mean, life's been rough lately but... when isn't it, Y'know? It's one always one thing after another." You can hear the frustration in his voice as he swirls around his glass, avoiding eye contact. Mike looks around the bar and then down at your hands.
"Yeah... I know. My fucking job blows and all I want to do is just- start fresh... no more late nights working my ass off just to miss rent again." The drunken state you're in is allowing your emotions to spill out with no hesitation.
"Believe me I'm in the same boat. I mean..." he sighs and rubs his temples. "I work as security for an abandoned pizzeria like....it's fucking abandoned! What am I actually securing dude!" Mike buries his face in his hands, feeling insane for working such a dead end job. "There's people my age with degrees and real accomplishments under their belt and what am I doing? Wasting my life days at a time for shit hours and pay."
You grab his hand and hold it tight. "Mike... I'm literally a stripper... I'm in no place to judge" you say in an attempt to lighten the mood and smile at him. "We do what we do for a reason, right? To keep a roof over our heads... and to go out drinking!" He chuckles at your words and takes a deep breath.
"Yeah...." Mike grips your hand tighter and wets his lips before speaking, "You wanna take a walk?"
"Sure! Fresh air won't hurt." He holds your hand to help you out of the booth and guides you to the parking lot. With it being a small town it, isn't so crowded out. Cars occasionally pass by as the warm breeze cools you both down. You look up at the night sky, amazed by the twinkling stars. Mike stares at you longingly and smirks. He can't think back to the last time a girl made him feel the way he does right now
"Isn't it so beautiful, Mike?" you say while gazing at the stars.
"Yeah.... definitely" he responds still taking in your features. His chest tightens and thoughts begin to race in his head. Mike didn't want to ruin the moment by taking things too fast but god did you look breathtaking right now. "So beautiful..."
You peer down at him and notice he hadn't looked up once and was fully referring to you. This causes a pink color to rush across your cheeks and you move closer to him. He caresses your cheek and plays with a strand of your hair. "Y-you... you don't have a boyfriend, right?"
You seductively respond back at him, "You want to change that, sir?" Mike swiftly wraps his hand around the back of your neck to bring you in to meet his lips. His kiss is hungry for more, clearly desperate for your embrace. He's completely given up on taking it slow.
You pull away and look up at him, your eyes glassy from the drinks. The lip gloss you wore transferred onto his lips. "You sure about this? I know we were drinking and I don't want-"
"Mike..." you roll your eyes at him, wanting him to take control.
"I just don't want to be too rough on you... or ruin my chance with you." he says in a low voice.
"All that flirting earlier and you're backing out now? Don't you want to..." you pout at him playfully, "teach me a lesson for going out with strangers?" A little giggle escapes you when suddenly you're grabbed by the wrist and dragged to the alley next to the bar.
"Do you want this? Yes or no. No bullshit, tell me now." he exclaims as you're backed up against the wall, him towering over you.
"Y-yes sir I do..."
He reaches his hand up your skirt and feels up and down your lacy panties. "You wore these for me, hm?"
"Y-yeah I did... Do you like them?"
"Of course I do sweetheart. Very kind of you to do that for me" He starts pulling them to the side, eager to feel your arousal. He slips his finger in to rub small circles with your wetness. "All that from some kisses? What an eager little girl, so adorable"
"I really like you- that's all!" You're not sure why Mike is making you feel this shy and bashful. You'd like to think you're very dominating towards men due to your profession but he's proving this to be false very quickly.
He grabs you by your chin, forcing you to look him in the eyes and speaks. "Promise me that if at any point you feel uncomfortable or want to stop, you'll tell me...okay?"
You mumble this promise over and over again while feeling up on him through his jeans, your excitement for what's to come literally dripping out of you.
"That's a good girl. You're an amazing listener, do you know that? Keep it up, kiddo" he teases. He turns you around to face the brick wall and pushes your skirt up. "You ready for me?"
You nod your head quickly, overcome with passion.
"Use your words, pretty girl. You can do it."
"Yes... I'm ready, I promise!"
"Yes, who?" Mike says in a commanding manner.
"Yes, sir..." Your legs tremble uncontrollably and your breath accelerates, something about the thrill of possibly being caught is turning up the heat.
He slowly pushes into you, letting you adjust to his cock. "Theeere we go... How does that feel, babygirl?" He bottoms out, his tip kissing your cervix ever so slightly.
"It's g-good sir... feels good" The euphoria from the shots and his length are sure to collaborate with each other in your body.
Mike starts to thrust slowly, using your hips as leverage. Small whimpers and moans slip out of you. "I bet it does... You're so tight around me... I seriously don't know how you're not taken already... A pretty girl with a tight pussy like this should be fuckin' married by now."
He pounds into your cunt harder almost as if he's mad at you for being single. The sound of skin on skin fills the dark alley. Your eyes roll backwards when he hits your sweet spot repeatedly, pushing you closer to the edge of breaking. "Sir p-please... can't go for much longer... S'too much" you beg.
"You can take more, I know you can. Hang in there for me, okay? He says this in such a genuine way, it's only making you fall for him more. You're really hoping this isn't a one night stand situation.
He grunts and moves his hands around your neck, putting you into pretty much a headlock. His cock throbs violently in you, threatening to release soon. "Fuuckk I needed this..." You arch your back against him allowing for your g-spot to be avoided as to not cum quickly.
He instantly noticed this shift and pulls you back up, "You wanted this, don't run now..." There's a hint of condescension in his words. You moan loudly when he juts harshly into your poor pussy, leaking with fervor.
"Can you stay quiet for me baby? Just a little longer, okay? We can't have people finding us out here, right?"
"B-but sir-"
"No buts princess... That's a direction. What happened to my good little listener?"
You pout and bite your lip to hold in the moans begging to topple out of you. Only small whimpers and whines allowed you remind yourself mentally as he continues on. He purposely rubs on your spot with his thick cock and sneaks a hand down to toy with your swollen clit, guaranteeing to make you cum any second.
"M'gonna... gonna cum... Mike please!!!"
"Cum on my cock like a good girl, baby. You deserve it after all..." You quiver and whimper as you reach your limit, your pussy clenching down onto his member. You squirt from the stimulation, dripping down on your legs and leaving a wet spot on his jeans. Mike's thrusts get sloppier and his moans get heavier simultaneously.
"Y-you're on the pill, r-right?" You nod aggressively with his hand over your mouth to block your screams of pleasure. "G-good... gonna ffuckin' cum inside- shit... fucccckk...." He pumps all his cum into you, whining into your ear. He keeps his cock stuffed inside your hole so he can catch his breath.
"You did very very well baby.... I'm proud of you" he says while stroking your hair. When he pulls out, little drips of cum leak down your thighs. Mike pulls your panties back into place and pats you on the head. "Ready to head home, little one?"
You turn around to face him and smile from being fully fucked out and cockdrunk. "Cooould I... come home with you maybe?"

For the character asks, Lance Hunter
Thanks for the ask! 💙
First impression: Loved him. I think I found him a little bit annoying, but in a good way, of course.
Impression now: I somehow love him even more. I still can't believe the writers just wrote him and Bobbi out because they were such great characters. He deserved to stay even just for comedic relief, because God knows the team needed a laugh sometimes, and so did we.
Favorite moment: When he shows up in prison to "talk to his client" in season 5. That was so iconic because not only was it a great entrance, but also such a relief to see a familiar face in that situation, especially if said familiar face has a hilarious dynamic with Fitz. That was obviously written for the fans, so I have no complaints. Honourable mentions to when he punches the guy from the ATCU without so much as a second thought, when he rants about Bobbi in 2.04 pretending he's not in love with her, and when he goes undercover as an obnoxious IT guy.
Idea for a story: This is not my idea, but I need to know what happened when he and Bobbi almost got married again between seasons 3 and 5. What do you mean "the ninjas showed up"? This had so much potential, but I think the fact that he never explained makes it funnier. Is it a weird metaphor for something? Did some ninjas actually attack them right before the wedding? Are the ninjas some friends who didn't think they should get married? We'll never know.
Unpopular opinion: I've seen somewhere that Most Wanted was a bad idea from the start, and I'm here to tell you that's wrong. I think it's a tragedy that it got cancelled, because can you imagine the potential? A spinoff of the best show on Earth? Our favourite problematic spy couple on the run breaking the law and causing problems? How is that a bad idea. Even if the script was bad and the plot was bad and everything was bad, it's still extra screentime for two awesome characters. If nothing else, we all know he would have had hilarious one liners, and I would have loved to watch it.
Favorite relationship: Huntingbird. Yes, I know he and Bobbi had a LOT of issues, but that just makes it funnier. Their bickering was on point, and the way he so was so obviously down bad for her the minute the words "demonic hell beast" left his mouth is so pathetic and hilarious. On a more serious note, the way they worked together as agents was great. While they may not have always trusted each other, they always had faith in the other's capabilities to do a good job in the field and stay alive ("Don't die our there"). They worried, sure, but they didn't try to keep the other out of danger Fitzsimmons style because they knew they could handle things, and for the most dysfunctional relationship of the show, that was pretty healthy. As for platonic relationship, Fitz. All they had in common was the fact that they were sassy Brits with serious relationship issues, and that was somehow enough to form a great dynamic. I loved all their little moments in 2.04, especially when Fitz talked about his crush on Jemma in the weirdest, most uncomfortable, and out of context way, and Hunter just went along with it and comforted him.
Favorite headcanon: At some point watching season 6 I decided it was stupid that they hadn't returned to SHIELD, so in my head they did. It just didn't make sense that they still had to live a life on the run when SHIELD was a legitimate organisation again, especially when the new director was their best friend who could have pulled some strings to have them there. It would have been so cool to see them again, not to mention it would have been very helpful for the team. And can you imagine Hunter's reaction at seeing Sarge? If anyone could have added some levity to the situation, I know it's him.
Writing this made me remember how much I love and miss him. Please send me more!

"It Doesn't Matter If Your Gay, You're Still Our Friend" Part One
What if Trent wasn't the only one to catch Colin and Michael making out in the alley?
Written between the airing of 3x3 and 3x4
Pairing: Colin Hughs x Michael
Coming Out, Mental Breakdown, Angst with a Happy Ending, Light Angst, Canon Compliant, Canon Queer Relationship, Canon Queer Character, AFC Richmond Players are Himbos
Colin couldn't fully wrap his head around how he could go from having a fun night out with his friends to sobbing in his partner's arms at home in just a single hour.
The night started off great.
He carpooled to Sarn's restaurant with Richard, Dani, and Isaac. This wasn't unusual. The team would often branch off into groups and celebrate after a big win. Considering their winning streak, it was only natural.
They were getting rounds of drinks (all on Sam, of course), and joking around.
"I'm not one those guys, but considering how much we've been wining with Zava around, and seeing how much he can move his body? He could do whatever he wanted to me." Richard said with a grin.
Dani and Isaac laughed. Colin laughed along.
He pushed down the punch to the gut feeling he got from his friend's words.
'They don't know.'
They didnt know he was one of those guys.
He knew they meant no harm. Colin wouldn't say his teammates were homophobic. They were just guys being guys. He knew Moe's best friend and uncles were gay. And he knew Jan Maas's twin sister was transgender. From basic observation, the team didn't seem to care. Sure, some of them looked surprised when one of them mentioned someone was gay, but no seemed to mind when it was mentioned.
But still, the topic scared him, It was one thing to be friends with someone who had gay friends, it was another to be friends with a gay person. And said person being your colleague? Considering just how many different cultures and backgrounds everyone on the team came from, and given what Colin knew about classic locker-room culture, it wasn't worth the risk.
He felt a mix of emotions when Michael showed up. He was overjoyed when he saw Michael, but it hurt he had so much love to give his boyfriend. But he couidn't give him anything more than a dude-bro handshake. He had to introduce the love of his life as his best friend. 'His wingman'. And to his closest friends no less.
"I'm trying," Michael said, taking a sip of his drink, "Trust ne, it's harder than you think." This got a chuckle out of all of them. Though, it was probably funnier to the two of them, considering the context was different for them compared to his friends.
Dani grinned, "Oh, come on. A footballer with a smile and personality like that? Plenty of women would want him."
"No woman has really caught my interest, l guess." Colin leaned back in his chair.
He was really hoping that they would leave it at that, and move on from the topic. But they continued.
"We'll just have to get you to some bars around town. Maybe use Bantr, like Sam." Dani patted Colin's shoulder. "Michael. You said you're his wingman. Would you like to join us?"
Michael laughed. Only Colin could see how the conversation was starting to make him uncomfortable. Michael took a bigger sip of his drink, "I'd like to see you try."
Eventualy (thankfully), the subject matter died down, all of the attention going to Zava when he made his grand entrance.
Colin and Michael were able to sneak away without anyone being suspicious of them. They knew it was safe when they were a block or two away from the party.
"Hi Colin."
"Hi Michael."
They embraced each other warmly, now being comfortable enough to do So. Colin kissed him eagerly. Michael laughed when he pulled away.
"Eagar much?"
Colin whined, "I just missed you. I don't like it when you go away."
Michael put his hand on Colin's cheek, "I missed you too. You know, we still have a bit of time left before people notice we're gone. Maybe we could..."
Colin took this as his cue to lean back in.
He loved being like this. He loved feeling Michael's hair in his hands, and their bodies seemed to fit perfectly together.
"Colin?"
His blood ran cold. They must have lost track of time.
They quickiy puled away from each other. Colin looked over to see Dani, Isaac, Richard, Jan Maas, and Jamie.
"Hey, guys," he said awkwardly, "What are you guys doing? Party's still going on inside."
"We were gonna get another round of drinks. We wanted to find ya, see if you wanted to join." Jamie said.
"Yeah. Yeah, sounds good." He gave them a thumbs up.
"Maybe you had a little too much to drink," Jan Maas said, "You know you were kissing you friend Michael, right?" Everyone looked at him. "What?" he asked.
"Um yeah, I know." Colin looked back at his boyfriend for reassurance. Michael grabbed his hand, giving him a look that said go ahead. "Michael isn't my just my friend. And he definitely isn't my wingman. ...He's my boyfriend."
Dani and Jamie looked dumbfounded. He couldn't read Isaac and Richard's face. Jan Maas just looked like Jan Maas.
Colin turned to Michael and looked back at his friends. "We should go."
Colin and Michael quickly made their way back to the restaurant to get their things and leave. His teammnates followed.
He grabbed his drawstring bag and turned to Michael to make sure he had his keys (he knew Michael didn't drink enough to raise any concerns about driving).
"Colin, wait! It's alright if your gay, your still our friend!" Dani called out to him.
A hush fell over the room.
Looking around at all his friends, colleagues, and mutuals, it was clear everyone was shocked. Colin felt himself on the verge of tears. He looked to Michael for guidance.
"It's okay," he said, "Let's go." Michael guided him out of the restaurant and to his car. When the car door shut, he broke down crying.
Looking out the window, he could see his whole team (minus Zava) and coach Ted standing outside Ola's, looking stunned.
Colin would feel ashamed of himself, but he didn't have the energy to care. He just wanted to crawl into bed with Michael and never leave.
When they got home, Michael led him straight to their bedroom. He made him take a shower and get a glass of water before letting him get into their bed.
"How're you feeling?" he asked.
"Not great." Colin replied.
Michael put a hand on his back, "Need anything?"
Colin shook his head. "I'm worried about us. What's gonna happen?"
Michael sighed, "I dont know. But were going to figure it together, yeah," Coin gave him an affirming nod.
It only when the got under the covers did Colin begin to cry again, letting Michael hold him the rest of the night.

Oh, huh. what bugged me abt that isn't that they couldn't - after all the alliance HAS been in constant conflict ever since they decided to hunt down the Abundance - it was that, out in the whole wide universe...how the hell is the xianzhou the ONLY ONES who care abt a planet being destroyed? like rlly? yes, maybe in a cosmic scale there's multiple planets dying, but he's asking people for help, not the universe! ugh. can't they set up an intergalactic donations box or something?
well, companion quests are like... genshin story quests/hangout events, except w at least two playable characters talking to each other, but idk what you consider relevant context to main missions if you're skipping dialogue. ik Yanqing has a bit of an arc abt learning moves from jingliu and he meets jingliu in the companion quest > adapts jingliu's moves in mq boss fight (in a blink and you'll miss it line that wasn't at all clear but there you go) > succesfully replicates her move in climax of Finest Duel (II), so it may seem to come out of nowhere if you don't do it. like it's definitely not one of the better companion quests, you could just watch the cutscenes and get the idea, but it's one of the most relevant ones. Do you count trailblaze continuance as main story, or...?
The animations Ichor of Two Dragons and A Flash are much cooler than what actually went down in the luofu so I can dream lmao. But for real, who wrote those? They should actually write in the game. They know how to set up a climax, for one.
Characterwise you won't care, but fandom liked to characterise yanqing as a brat and a punching bag until he finally got a W in recent quests and I'm sick and tired of it so...
intro in mq as fighting prodigy who hits his first major roadblock (aka loses badly three times in a row to legendary fighters, one in his cq and two in mq. he's unfortunately infamous for this) > gets his insecurities aired out against his will, we learn that he has lost all his confidence and is desperate to prove himself > trying to balance acceptance of his limits with knowledge that they don't define him, compare and contrast w a new child prodigy chara who IS actually immature so we can see his growth.
Anyways I don't want to start more live service games so between geshin and hsr I honestly like hsr more. gl w your sunday and aventurine pulls!
Hm, well...
There was one thing I noticed, and that is how the game says "no one helps others out of the goodness of their hearts" in almost the exact same words over and over again.
I think I saw it first in Wardance, where it seemed to be part of Topaz explaining her section away as just teaching Belobog an important life lesson, that they can't keep relying on the MC to solve their problems and/or support them. They have to stand up on their own because the universe is a big, scary place full of nasty, powerful organizations (like... the IPC, presumably).
But this is also repeated at least twice in Belobog, whenever we try to say that we're here to deal with the Stellaron. Everyone immediately goes "oh, just because you're nice?? sus, we don't believe you, you're obviously lying."
And then, it has also already been brought up again in Luofu (I'm still on the first act). "Oh, you're here to deal with the Stellaron? Like you always do on multiple worlds, as we've heard since we know about the Astral Express already? Sus, no one does things out of principles, you're lying."
So at the very least, the writers really love having the altruism of the main crew questioned.
But they probably also just generally believe that people are extremely selfish and will not do anything without benefit to them, so asking strangers for help is pointless and Igor was wasting his time. The correct answer was always just to go home and die fighting for his country.
(You can even tie in how the entire plot of Luofu is kicked off by Elio deciding that they need to make sure the Luofu owes the Express a huge favor, so that can be cashed in during a future battle for the sake of the universe. Because you see, the Luofu wouldn't do shit during this massive future conflict of galactic scale, where we are presumably on the side of all life and civilization, without first owing us a personal favor.)
Realistically, they're not that wrong, but I find it annoying to have this be treated as a legitimate point of distrust so often.
As for me, I..... probably still like Genshin way more. The writing is bad for both, both don't let you skip, but Genshin has way more to do.

Weirdly Specific Character Building Questions...
[ compiling my responses for @quiisquiliae, @chasindtrevelyan, @aetherianxarchive, and an anon! (edit: I feel like I might have accidentally missed a submission. all the asks are gone from my box now though. If you submitted one and you don't see it answered here, please resubmit. I sowwy! ]
1.) What's the lie your character says most often?
'Don't worry about me, I'm fine.' Elissa is a protective, care taking person by her default nature - but in every iteration of her story, the survivor's guilt ramps this up several orders of magnitude. People don't take care of her, she takes care of people. That's her entire purpose and reason for being. She will lie to others and to herself rather stubbornly to avoid the thought that she can't do it all.
2.) How loosely or strictly do they use the word ‘friend’? She uses the word friend quite frequently, and in many contexts, so in that sense she uses it loosely. Aside from being a chronic care taker, sometimes pathologically so, Elissa is also a mediator and peacekeeper in a lot of ways. It comes part and parcel with her position and upbringing. However it is generally easy to tell whenever she calls someone "friend", whether she means it in a disarming, feather smoothing way during tense negotiations, or in a "I will jump the shit of a literal goddess like a rabid weasel on coke to protect you" way. There isn't much in between for her.
3.) How often do they show their genuine emotions to others versus just the audience knowing? Its a very narrow range of circumstances when Elissa is going to misrepresent the tenor of her thoughts or emotions deliberately to someone she's interacting with. Most of those situations are going to be in an antagonistic context. With people she cares about and loves? The only time she's really going to try acting in direct contradiction to what she's genuinely feeling is if she's in pain and doesn't want to burden them with it because they're already going through shit themselves. Other times if there's reason to think it'd be poorly received, she'll downplay or avoid acknowledging negative emotions/opinions - but if pressed or confronted, isn't going to lie.
tldr; it's usually the intensity of her emotions she conceals from others, rather than the nature of the emotion itself.
4.) What’s a hobby they used to have that they miss? Playing instruments - her favorite was the flute. She was moderately talented with stringed instruments like a lyre or lute, but pipes, flutes, tin whistles, etc were the ones she was best at. She was trying to get some of the servants in the castle to teach her how to play the mouth-harp just before the attack on Castle Cousland at the start of the Blight. 7.) What would you (mun) yell in the middle of a crowd to find them? What would their best friend and/or romantic partner yell? I'd yell, "HEY COUS-COUS!" She gets an irritated scowl on her face that makes me giggle when I think of it. Half the time she snaps back, (with a thin undercurrent of 'You're lucky I love you') "Fuck you!"... Fergus would call her 'Lissy or 'Lissa. You know it's someone she's with romantically or in love with if they can call her 'Liss and not be punched in the arm. She loathes being called that, with the sole exception of a romantic partner.
(bonus: it may be cliche, but in my head I imagine her Varric!nickname would be something like, "Short Stack".)
8.) How loose is their use of the phrase ‘I love you’? Unlike with the word 'friend', her saying "I love you" is much more strict. That is not a phrase that leaves her mouth lightly - at all, ever. If she tells your muse that she loves them? You bet your ass she'd start wars and set the world on fire for them - she has, in some verses. (This is not restricted to romantic partners. This applies as well to friends and family, blood or chosen.) 12.) What's something that makes them laugh every single time? Be specific! Situations or interactions that fluster a typically stoic or grumpy person. Leliana teasing Sten about being a big softie, or the times Alistair is able to aggravate Morrigan during the banter about her nose resembling Flemeth's, Nathaniel teasing Velanna during Awakening ("Your ears aren't clownishly large at all!"), etc. 34.) How do they greet someone they like / love? Taking both their hands between hers, or double clasped forearms, or grasping/squeezing both their upper arms with a bright smile. Basically any greeting that uses both hands or arms. 37.) What’s a secret they haven’t told serious romantic partners and don’t plan to tell? I'm struggling to come up with an answer to this one. As a general rule? There just isn't one she'd keep from a serious romantic partner. If Elissa brings someone into her heart that deeply, there isn't anything in terms of life events or personal history she'd keep from them. THE ONLY CAVEAT TO THIS - If said serious romantic partner is NOT ALSO a Grey Warden... Then Order secrets, like the ones Jory was killed to protect, she would not intend to ever tell them or allow them to discover. Of course, shit sometimes happens... but those are the only beans she would refuse to willingly spill to a lover or spouse. 58.) How many hobbies have they attempted to have over their lifetime? Is there a common theme?
It's kind of hard to say, as there are a number of things Elissa enjoys doing that she's good at - but they usually fall under the umbrella of "skills necessary or useful to her position/background". She can garden (her favorite 'practical' hobby), cook, sew, do basic embroidery, etc... But looking at the ones that don't fall in that center of the venn diagram between practically useful and enjoyable? It tends to be artistically creative ones. She loves to make music, sing, and dance. Would (and still could, or would in the right circumstance) stand out in the pouring rain, twirling around dancing and laughing with her arms outstretched.

I have two brands of canon. Canon is canon, and canon is canon only within canon.
For example: Korra from the tv show saw wan's backstory. Her backstory.
We have no idea if what she saw was all that happened, what we saw of Wan could be entirely what happened. Or, we miss some context and what we saw was only what Korra saw.
Remember; the spirit world both mirrors the material and the spirits material.
It's implied that the material had more influence as they're less bound by precedent, but never confirmed.
Korra is shown to be. A very simple character, both character and person. We see this through the way she responds.
With minimal moral training, she's shown to be very confrontational, very punch problem away. It's implied through this early portrayal and future updates that she works more simply.
We only saw Wan do things, the conversations only helped to strengthen the problems, yes, it's a background episode. But, we only see a simple view. That implies to me, that it's what Korra sees. It's what she has to see.
I've seen a story where wan sees under Rava, people are safe, yet depressed. And under Vatu, everyone's in danger.
Wan is a more human centric person, so here's the main thesis with all this.
If what we see into the spirit world is influenced by what we need/want to see, who's to say that what's canon is only canon through the specific lens?
Like, in real ATLA/Korra canon, Rava is the representation of good. She is good.
But what does good mean exactly?
Sure, Vatu is evil, but it's clear that his evil isn't like how Set is in Egyptian myths.
Set in myths is the chaotic neutral party, he causes chaotic situations, but unlike. Idk, Apophis who's pure chaos. Set is a natural part of the world, for there to be order, there must be some chaos.
Apophis is pure chaos, so what if Vatu is that. Apophis, and because Wan came forward very early, y'know. Stopped a fight he didn't understand because it hurt others, well.
I read a story where Korea's origin was retold as Rava being more representative of order, boring stuff. Vatu meanwhile was more of chaos, evil, y'know?
Tldr;
If you don't like something, just think about it. What is it objectively, things we can't deny within the canon; eg.
Wan stepped between two powerful deity-like beings that heavily control his world's motion. Wan goes through a journey learning that with one of them, he can at least fix and ensure that the world will go as it's roughly supposed to. Wan merges with the being to seal the deal and gets reincarnated to keep the balance.
Now, what is the exact wording used? Eg;
Good.
What's good, within context, what's there that we can use to reframe the situation? What was said before that helps to frame the situation: eg what I mentioned before in finding out what kinda character Korra was that might influence the viewing.
What I have to guess, the author of the reframing Vatu and Rava did, was take the fact that Wan is more of a caring/generally caring for the majority/lesser. And then use that as a basis to show the spirits as less good and bad and more order versus chaos.
The canon isn't exactly disturbed with this interpretation style: if the body of the text/characters aren't being ignored (the author doesn't care about canon (neutral)) then it's technically canon that it could happen.
Writing is just the framework for actions:
Batman doesn't kill, but in a certain riddler story, Nigma just. Stops using riddles and starts being the actual psychopath. Batman tries all kinds of things, and ultimately. In this impossible situation, Batman kills.
Nigma keeps killing because Batman can't kill because what he wants, is for them (the Rogues) to get better. What Nigma wants, is to be recognised at the top, because he is. To do this, he keeps killing and causing irreversible damage. He doesn't want to change, and he keeps causing selfish and stupid deaths.
Batman killed, in this specific story. In this specific comic book.

A memory.
(This little oneshot would take too much context to post on ao3, so you get it here on my scattered chaos blog instead.)
(Warning, it's a sad story - don't say I didn't warn you guys)
"I'm so glad to see you again!"
His face lit up with joy like he truly meant it.
"I'm...glad to see you too." They forced a smile, a sinking feeling in their chest.
"I was so worried about you, Mihaly. I thought for sure you would've gotten into trouble by now."
"I'm sure you did."
He laughed, taking it as a joke. Little did he know, it wasn't. As much as they fully understood why he'd have little faith in them, it still stung to hear it out loud. With everyone suffering from burnout, things had been tense for years upon years between the group, and it felt like a cold reminder of that fact.
What he also didn't know was how much they'd been training since the last time they'd seen each other. They were building up strength fast, perhaps in ways that he would never approve of, and were no longer going to be a punching bag for every villain in sight.
But he didn't know that. How could he? They'd all been stranded from each other for months. And in the mean time, they'd been taking shelter with others - a group of people who had welcomed them in warmly, taught them to battle, went out of their way to help them find Liza and their kids, and given them new faith in friendships and teamwork.
They were a completely different person. They had a new life.
So when he followed it up by asking them "do you want to come help me find the others?", they felt dizzy. Dizzy at the thought of leaving their new teammates, where everything was stable, in favor of people who'd all be at each others' throats once the 'oh my god, you're okay!' factor inevitably wore off.
"I...I can't." They felt cold as the words barely escaped them.
"You can't? Why not?"
"You don't even like me."
"Of course we like you! We all do-"
"You don't. You know things have been awful between us for years. I'm tired of being the butt of the jokes about how I'm always in danger. I have a new team now who's not quite as...sick of me. Things are just different with them, we're all really close, in a way that I don't think we ever had as the Just Dancers."
"How can you say that? After everything?"
"With the Just Dancers, we...I mean, when we first grouped up together, we had that whole 'best friends forever' thing we put up for the press. And of course we really hang out as friends sometimes, but things are also always complicated. With these guys, it's not complicated or an act. We set up a campfire in a warehouse and told each other fun stories about our lives, we play rock-paper-scissors to decide who does the chores, we do each others' hair...when have we ever had moments like that with the Just Dancers? Not for years at the very least, if ever."
"I...didn't know you felt that way."
"I'll always be grateful for the times you protected me and saved me from trouble. But sometimes things change. Friendships change. Things aren't the same anymore, and I know deep down, you know that too."
"But we need you!"
"For what?"
"...we just- DO! You're a part of the team! You can't just betray us again!"
Silence filled the space, as he realized he'd just solidified their deicision. Making an "again" jab about their crimes from nearly twenty years ago had been a low blow, and appeared to prove their point.
"I'm sorry." He told them.
"I know."
"I'm going to miss you."
"And I'm sure it won't be long before I miss you too. When that time comes, we can talk about things again. I'm not saying goodbye forever, it's just a goodbye for now. I need space. You need space. We all do. Sometimes the best way to save a friendship is to take some time apart."
A tear spilled from Wanderlust's eye as Mihaly took a step back. Glancing back to make sure they had a clear space, they pulled up a music track and began a soft ballet dance for him. Dragging their feet across the ground, they noticed a few tears falling as well. But, knowing this decision would be best in the long run, they continued on, opening up their voice to sing along to the music.
"If I...should stay, I would only be in...your way...so I'll go, but I know...I'll think of you, each step of the way...and I...will always love you..."

The reblog addition also reminded me of a part in the TF2 comic (The Contract) where Saxton Hale shows Miss Pauling that the door to his weapons room uses a punch-based lock (you have to punch it with a certain amount of pounds of pressure per square inch). We don't know if it's just a Saxton Hale thing, or if these types of locks are common in Australia (in the TF2 universe). If it was common, that infers that Sniper would have had trouble using day-to-day technology before he joined RED and BLU.
I also like that Sniper's backstory can be read as queer coded. On a literal (canon) level, Sniper's backstory is an adoption story. Also an immigration story: The part about Sniper crash-landing on his parent's farm in a rocket as a baby is basically a reference to Superman's backstory, which in multiple adaptations has been framed as an immigration story (if it feels familiar to the beginning of the film Megamind, it's because Megamind also used it as an homage to Superman). And canonically, Sniper's place of birth is New Zealand, and his citizenship is Australian. Then when Sniper talks about always feeling different from the people around him and not fitting in with his peers, you can also read it as queer coded because while it's not explicit (in the canon), the experience Sniper is feeling can feel relatable to some queer experiences (I say "some" because there isn't really a "universal queer experience" despite people's experiences sharing overlaps and similarities--it differs between individuals, and things like historic context affects it).
I think that Sniper's backstory was also part of why he was so quick to want to refer to this biological parents as his "real parents." It wasn't just him not having enough time to fully recover from finding out his parents had kept his adoption a secret from him (he probably felt a lot of betrayal from it, while he was grieving them). It was wanting to connect with someone who could possibly understand these parts of him that his peers in Australia found as different.
And, while I'm 90% sure this plot thread would have been resolved if we ever got the final comic issue (cries), this is kinda a pet peeve I have whenever I see TF2 videos where Sniper's biological parents are called "Sniper's real parents." Because it turned out that his biological parents were not his "real" parents, despite Sniper's words.
And that mistake cost Sniper two bullets through the chest.
You know, I don't see a lot of people talking about this moment in the TF2 comics right here, seconds after Sniper realizes he's actually from New Zealand. Does anyone else think about how freaking insecure Sniper must have been growing up?

I know it has a somewhat comedic tone but I can't help but think about poor Sniper as a kid wondering why he was so different but never knowing why. With other Aussies being huge and muscular he must have thought something was wrong with him. And I feel like you can actually see the relief on his face in the bottom panel.
Also, side note, I love the bit about him throwing rocks from a tree which absolutely foreshadows his future as a sniper. His whole thing is shooting people from far away because he was never built to go on the offensive.

I recently finished writing a novel and, as promised, here are the 5 realest tips I picked up from this experience.
Make sure to reblog / share with your writing friends! 😊🌻
First off, let's demystify what writing a book is actually like by showing you what my writing calendar actually looked like for this novel:

What do the colors mean?
Yellow = Brainstorming and outlining. That's right, I only spent 3 days planning before jumping in. More on that later.
Red = Writing. One chapter a day, shooting for 2.5K words (though it often was more or less, and that's okay!)
Gray = Other work, days life got in the way or I couldn't write.
Pink = Days off / resting days.
⭐ TIP #1 - It's Okay to Miss a Day (or Many)
We writing-types tend to have unrealistic expectations. Daily writing is one of them. You don't have to write every day, and it's okay if something gets in the way and you miss days or even weeks.
It doesn't matter how many days you miss, as long as you always get back to writing.
⭐ TIP #2 - You Don't Have to Outline Your Whole Book
I understand that first-time writers combat their fear of the blank page by outlining / planning well in advance, and that's okay, but here are some real-ass truths:
If you're like me, you think about your book several times every day. Trust me, books take a while to write and you are going to have plenty of chances to find ideas.
Instead of outlining the whole book, scene by scene, I just get myself enough of a framework to get started, and then I use a bit of my secret sauce:
🌶 Each night, as I'm winding down before bed, I take a journal and write down what I think will happen in tomorrow's chapter. It takes a few minutes, and those notes are pretty much all I need to get me through a writing session.
⭐ TIP #3 - Writing Is Not That Important
Writing a book is more than just the writing part, it's also about the living part too. You're a human being with responsibilities and sometimes things get in the way. And this is okay!
So what if life got in the way of writing?
Roll with the punches and try tomorrow. That's all we can do~
Now, let's build on the last point by adding even more context to the calendar, because writing a book is more than just the writing part—it is also about navigating through the chaos that is life.

What do the icons mean?
🥄 (Spoons) = Days I was tired, sick, or out of spoons / Action Points
🖥 (PCs) = Computer issues! Thank you, Microsoft!!
😰 (Distressed Face) = Stressful or unexpected life events! Can you believe I got surprise visits by my inlaws twice while writing this book? I wish I was kidding!
💊 (Pill) = After a life-long struggle with anxiety and depression, I finally started taking medication. Good news: I feel better. Bad news: the transitory period is rough.
⭐ TIP #4 - Every Day is Different
It's easy to think that every day is the same and that you should be able to do the same things consistently—but that's a fantasy! If you're like me, some days you have more energy than others, and some days the writing is easier than others! It's a crapshoot, but there's little we can do about it.
It's best to be kind to yourself, and take the L, than push yourself when you're already running out of steam and end up burning out. Take it from me. 🤞
⭐ TIP #5 - Life is a Sitcom (No, Really)
Looking at the experience of writing this book, there is so much more I couldn't just fit into two images—but there's a point I want to drive home.
I have the tamest, most peaceful life, and I still get on average 2.5 plots going on every week (like it's a sitcom up on here). Every week something breaks, something bad happens, something unexpected (good or bad) gets in the way.
And I'm basically a hermit! I can only imagine what it's like to be a person with an interesting life.
All of this to say that, you gotta lower your expectations a little. You're not going to write that book in one weekend. You're going to go over estimate. Something is going to get in the way. Between the prologue and the epilogue you're probably going to have to survive through a whole season of sitcom disasters.
In theory, writing a book is simple:
You sit down and write.
In reality, every day feels like a miracle.
This book took me ~6 weeks to write and in that span the best streak I ever got was 5 days in a row. Out of all those weeks, I spent a total of 15 whole days doing stuff other than writing.
The key isn't in being a perfect human being who never makes mistakes… but in being willing to get up, no matter how many times life knocks you down.
I hope this helps!

A reunion between Sephiroth and betrayed fem soldier!reader plz? She is a very talented fighter and also very beautiful. So Seph has feelings for her but doesn't say it. She finally has betrayed Shinra and wandered around in search of freedom. And Seph unintentionally meets her again at the moment she most didn't expect (the context is after FF7). I don't mind angst 😊
Hi
I’ve had like 3 requests of these so I’ve kinda combined them into one. if this isn’t what you're looking for please let me know and I can write another
Meeting you Again
The cold struck you hard as you sat outside the bar in a small village in the northern continent. It was evening and nearing Yule. You’d stopped for a warm drink before heading back home. Your mind started to wonder, how long had it been? Two years? Three years? So many people had died… Zacks death had been the catalyst. You’d left and joined to help Avalanche. It had been such a hard choice. You had made it so far in the SOLDIER program. One of the few women to do so. Reaching SOLDIER First class was such a proud moment for you.
Sephiroth had taken you under his wing, raised you to reach the class. You had been such good friends, though sometimes the way he looked at you. You clutch your coat tighter thinking of the gentle looks, soft touches, and careful words. Such acts had made his betrayal of ShinRa and SOLDIER harder. You mourned for your friends all of them.
Yes, joining Avalanche had been a hard choice, but finding Sephiroth was alive and very much not well had been harder.
Snow started to fall, and you sipped your mulled Wine, it kept you warm. You let out a sigh watching the steamy breath fade. The lights of the Bar barely illuminated the path. A dark shape moved in the gloom and you narrowed your eyes reaching for your Sword.
“Y/N…”
That voice, it couldn’t be?
“Sephiroth?” You stand slowly. “How?”
The silver man stepped into the light. He looked… different Older, calm, like how he was before. He wasn’t wearing his uniform, just warm clothes. And his sword was gone. Was this a trick? You grip your sword again knowing Janova tricks and stood. The man walked right up to you and took your hand which gripped the sword. His hand was solid and warm.
“Aerith… Sent me back,” He said softly “She believed I… needed a second chance.”
You look up at him, cheeks flushed with the cold. You felt a frozen tear from on your face. He’d been sent back?
“Why! You betrayed us! You left me! ZACK DIED BECAUSE OF YOU!” You scream at him hitting his chest “You don’t get a second chance!”
Sephiroth slowly shut his eyes and let you hit him. With each punch, you sobbed and cried out “Why?”. Until finally exhausted you collapsed into him sobbing, “why…” You whispered.
He held you in his arms, smoothing your hair softly, “I’m sorry, I really am. When… when I came too in the lifestream all I could think about was you. And Aerith found me. We spoke, for a long time. She felt I had been cheated out of life. I woke, on the earthen ground. All I could think of was to find you.”
You shivered and looked up at him, sniffing. This was too much. You didn’t know this man anymore. You take a few steps back from him and hug your arms, turning away from him. Sephiroth didn’t move to intercept you. He stood silently in the falling snow.
“I missed you, I always had feelings for you. I didn’t realise that until I lost you,” he whispered softly.
You sniffed and smiled turning to look at him, “I know you did. But Seph, I have to get to know you again. For years I thought you were dead. And then the Meteor incident you were alive just, it wasn’t you. Now you’re back. I need to get to know you…” You were speaking so softly, you weren’t even sure if he could hear you.
He can and he nods softly before turning to leave. You hesitate before calling out to him. He stops and turns to look at you.
“Come stay with me. You have nowhere to go, I have a spare room,” You say to him.
He smiles a little, “I’d like that…”

Sjfkskd I immediately thought of Ashe for 🖤 from your FE3H prompt list!! If you don't mind adding hcs for Dimitri and Sylvain to the list as well I'd love to see your take on them but just Ashe is okay <3 thank you!!
Woo Allister here!! Heck yeah, I just started this blog two days ago so I totally have time to do all three! I always have time to write Dimi lmao that’s my emotional support Dimitri!! 😭🩹
Ashe:
- you’re catching up over lunch with the blue lions and someone (we all know it was Sylvain) asks you if you’d spare a dance for them at the upcoming ball.
- you casually reply that you’re actually not going, much to the surprise of your house members. Sylvain is probably incredibly dramatic about it and tells you that you’ve wounded him. Mercedes and Annette will try to get you to change your mind because they were excited to get ready with you, but when you tell them that you’d have much more fun chilling in your room they accept it.
- Ashe on the other hand, is suddenly staring very intensely at the table and silently panicking. He’s been trying to think of a way to confess to you for weeks, and was slowly building up the courage to tell you after asking for a dance. While he internally freaks out, he’ll probably pick up a nervous habit and fiddle with his fingers or the hem of his shirt WHAT THE HELL WE GONNA DO NOW.
- Dimitri is the first to pick up on it, since he knows a thing or two about troubling thoughts. He starts to ask Ashe what’s troubling him, but, being snapped out of his thoughts, Ashe just sort of nervously blurts.
- ‘are you certain you’d really be alright missing such a big night?!’ You’re a little surprised at having elicited such a response from Ashe, but you assure him that noble events just aren’t your thing. ‘Oh but umm you know that I’m not a noble either! We er-we can work our way through a little party! You really don’t even have to stay long-’ followed by a lot more rambling of Ashe trying to string together reasons that you must attend. You tell him you’re not so sure about that...
- oh this boy clings onto that little sliver of a response and all week he’s constantly proposing new reasons that he thinks you should come. At this point, any member of the blue lions that wasn’t already aware has definitely picked up on the fact that he’s pining for you. Some might even try to help out and encourage you to go just to hang out with your friends. You, however, long ago made up your mind that you weren’t going anywhere near the stupid dance and instead you’re just growing concerned at Ashe’s increasing distress and exasperation for you to go.
- you adore the sweet archer, you really do, but you just refuse to ever attend a ball. As the week goes by with this boy following you around with a very cute pleading look, you start trying to cheer him up in other ways. When he stands in front of you and asks you about attending again, you take his hands in yours and give them a reassuring squeeze as you reaffirm that you’ll be lounging in your room. When he sits next to you while you’re feeding the cats to ask again, you lightly pet his hair. You start sitting next to him with your knees touching in hope of providing comfort, and have even started holding hands when he trails behind you in town. Although your firm answers still make Ashe’s stomach drop, it doesn’t compare to the butterflies he gets when you start giving him affection. Maybe he’s starting to cling by your side more to get pats and hand holds than to try and convince you to go to the dance...
- tonight is the night. You’re finally comfortably leaning against your bed while drawing/reading/sewing (whatever you do in your spare time) as the footsteps of the dance goers fade away when you’re shocked by a gentle knock on your door. When you open your door to see a very blushing Ashe, you’re rather taken aback, but you gently take his hand and lead him to sit beside you in front of your bed. He takes your hand in both of his own and stares down at them sheepishly as you ask him what he’s doing here when he still has the whole night to ask someone to dance. He clears his throat and squeezes your hand a little more before telling you that, with you in your room, he has no need to be at the dance and must be here instead (if it’s ok with you). You are super confused, but tell him he’s welcome to keep you company before asking why he’s suddenly skipping the ball after being so hellbent on it all week. It’s then that he takes a deep breath and looks up at you, his face bright red. He finally confesses and explains what was going on all week, and how he had found he appreciated your affection so much more than any dance.
- you’re very surprised, but you tell him you reciprocate and pull him into a warm hug in front of you. You spend most of the night talking with him in your arms, and you both eventually fall asleep on the floor with him curled up into your chest. It’s a good thing no one there has a camera because when someone came to check on you later, man that would’ve been a wild photo.
Sylvain:
- you’re probably walking down the halls of the monastery when he approaches you, leaning on the doorway in front of you. Gives you a bright smile and tells you he’s looking forward to nothing more than a dance with you at the end of the week, if you’ll indulge him.
- when you laugh at his usual antics and tell him that you’ll be skipping out on the dance, he probably gives you the same reaction of being a drama queen and you punch him lightly on the shoulder before walking past and telling him you’re sure he’ll be plenty busy with any other female in his line of sight.
- once he’s alone though, he’s definitely pretty stressed. Probably tugs at his hair or clenches his fists as he beats himself up for his own actions and the impression they’ve given you.
- when you and Sylvain first started becoming friends, it became pretty quickly clear that you weren’t trying to cozy up to him for brownie points with his family. And by that I mean, you masterfully skirted around any advances he made and teased him about trying it out on every other female at the monastery, much like you had just done.
- because of that, you actually ended up becoming pretty close genuine friends. You were just a cool person being friendly because that’s just how you were. You started sitting next to him in class and giving him a heads up on notes, assignments or tests that he may have forgotten about while spending every hour flirting with someone new. He even started proposing to actually hang out with you as bros. It was pretty sick, until he caught feelings..
- from the moment he caught himself yearning, he knew he was in deep shit because you’d never believe him. In the meantime, you still shut his flirting down, but as close friends you really didn’t mind things like sitting knee to knee with him or leaning on him. You even occasionally ruffled his hair and indulged him in leading you through town by the hand when you needed to get somewhere. You had always thought of it strictly platonically; you just figured he loved physical affection and getting to receive it from a friend was a win-win because he didn’t have to bother courting someone. Well, you were half right.. Sylvain does seek affection from you all the time, but not because you’re friends..
- oh boy as this little crush got worse and worse, Sylvain has to physically restrain himself from showering you in cuddles and kisses. You’re just so cute and every little action drives him crazy! So he’s devised a plan: he’s going to be with you every second of the ball. Dances only with you, talks with you in the corner, follows you outside if you want a break, he figured this was the perfect way to confess to you. Surely you’d have to realize how hard he’s pining for you if you saw his commitment and the contrast to his regular behavior, right? Welp now we officially have a code red for the ONLY plan and Sylvain is freaking out.
- it’s only after a day of darting around the monastery like a headless chicken and baffling everyone with his antsy behavior that he leans against a wall, takes a deep breath and realizes that he may be a little dumb. Well, more like he can’t think straight when 99% of his brain is occupied by you. He’s going to be just fine, plans have just changed a little last minute. What’s the difference between being glued to your side at a ball and being glued to your side in your room? It spares him from the possibility of being interrupted, but it’s still a pretty grand gesture for him of all people to skip.
- tonight is the night. While everyone else sways around some daunting, packed room with people they probably don’t even actually like, you’re sitting cross legged on your bed flipping through Alois’s ‘hilarious’ joke book that you managed to snatch with everyone else occupied. You almost wish someone else was here to witness this (no one would even believe how ridiculous that book was without seeing it for themselves), when you hear two knocks on your door, a code you’d set a while back. At first you were taken aback and thought it might be an angry Allois, but you mutter a ‘you can come in’.
- you were even more caught off guard by the fact that it was Sylvain and he looked..incredibly shaky. He almost stumbles on his way to plop down next to you, and the anxious face he’s making confuses you to the max, but out of concern you ask if he’s ok. He looks at the ceiling and mumbles a broken yeah to you, and it’s then that you realize you think he’s..trying not to cry?? Your head is spinning, having never seen him like before, when you put together a narrative of what you assume happened, given the context of this night. ‘Holy shit, Syl are you ok? OH MY GODDESS did you catch feels for some chick?? AWWW MAN did-did she reject you??!’ you’re sputtering out words way faster than he can even start to respond to you, but at your last question, he actually starts to laugh a little at the irony. A bitter laugh, probably mixed in with a little bit of crying out of hurt.
- you instantly wrap yourself around Sylvain, petting his hair and doing anything else you can remember that he loves as he hesitantly wraps his arms around you to keep you in place. When he’s calmed enough to speak, he mumbles into your hair ‘1.) yes, and it’s been a disaster, so I’m a mess. 2.) I guess..not yet? But I’m almost too afraid to even ask, knowing the odds that it’s not reciprocated.’ It takes you a moment to realize that he’s just answered you while you sit on his crossed legs, pressed against him trying to be good emotional support. You think on what he’s just told you, and eventually give the best advice you can, ‘Hey, you can’t think of it that way! Walking away from a chance is much harsher than the possibility of being rejected.’ He sighs deeply before replying slowly ‘Have you ever just, theoretically imagined..dating me?’
- WHAT? Ok, that’s definitely the most unexpected question possible, it’s gonna take you a second to get over the shock. When you’re grounded in reality, it’s actually a pretty easy answer, ‘Well sure, after we first started talking, but naturally I made myself forget about it because it couldn’t truly happen.’ At this, he perks up quite a bit, and you can feel a little bit of his confidence returning to him as he holds you tighter. Time for him to play his cards, ‘So..let’s say, if you ever believed that I was seriously committed, would you have dated me?’ Alright this man may have just officially made this the strangest night of your life. ‘Ummm, I mean sure I guess, if I had believed you I’d have liked to date you.’ BINGO FOR SYLVAIN!!
- ok, it’s now or never for him, ‘So, do you believe me right now?’ he says in the sweetest tone you’ve ever heard from him. OK THIS IS OFFICIALLY BONKERS. You can’t help but tense up and widen your eyes as the realization of the true meaning of this conversation dawns on you. When you come to, your face is burning up and you throw your arms on top of his shoulders and bury your face into his neck to hide your embarrassment. ‘Syllllllll good goddess I’ve never been so utterly shocked!! Goddess, I guess I really do have to believe you after all this insanity!’ This makes him laugh, but a happy, genuine laugh this time, and he flops backward onto the bed with you still on top of him, clutching you close and rocking with joy/relief. At this point reader either conks tf out with Sylvain or lowkey has a makeout sesh idk man I’m tired LMAO imagine as you please
-future note after writing: OK SO it was really a challenge to write how Sylvain would wrap his head around confessing pre-timeskip so I lowkey wrote a wholeass character arc essay I have problem. I hope you like Ashe’s, but ima be posting a part 2 with Dimi because this post is like at its limit lmao!

I've been really inactive lately, so I'll try to get this posted.
I noticed something that might classify as a plot hole. The PC system add-on that allows pokemon to get injured.
For starters, we never get an explanation for why this add-on was added in the first place. Supposedly, Vay was loopy from his "karp krakers", and put the add-on into the PC without thinking.
Also, we never get an explanation as to how this add-on works. Or, more accurately, how the PC works. Does the PC normally prevent the eevees from feeling pain and being injured at all? For example, even if Blizz tried his hardest, punching someone would be like punching a brick wall for an average person. Or, does the PC simply heal any major injuries the eevees take on? Or is it somewhere in between?
I know that, from the perspective that this is a comic that needs drama, having the add-on allows characters to hurt each other. (See Jed and Shane.) But, from an in comic perspective, this makes no sense.
Secondly, even if we did have a good explanation for how the add-on came to be, why didn't the trainer just get rid of it. And I don't want the explanation that she's stupid. She is 16, she knows how to work a computer. Even if she didn't, she could force Vay to do it, or get Bede (The person who runs the PC system in Sinho) to do it. I also don't want the explanation that she is negligent. She is, but she took the time to look into it after Harmony got hurt. I doubt she would just turn around and do nothing after learning about the add-on.
I may be missing context here, as there is one comic page that I can't access, the page 100 variation on patreon. Maybe there's an explanation in there, but I wouldn't know.
Thirdly, even if we ignore the trainer, what about Dusk? We already know that he has tried to get Blizz to work with him in stopping Icedrop and Greenpaw from fighting. Not to beat around the bush, Greenpaw does bully Icedrop, they just do it in a more covert, mental, and emotional way than Icedrop bullies Greenpaw.
However, Blizz refuses to help, partially because both Dusk and Blizz are petty. If Dusk genuinely wants to stop Icedrop, why not just get rid of the add-on? We know Dusk can manipulate electronics, so why not just delete the add-on, either from within the PC, or sneakily from outside it? Furthermore, Dusk is not stupid. He knows that Vay added the add-on, or at least could figure that out. He and Vay are also in good relations, so why doesn't he, or hasn't he, asked Vay to get rid of the add-on?
The explanation of "Dusk is just a jerk" does not work. Dusk can be a jerk, but everything he does he does for a reason. Most of him being a jerk comes from him being egotistical, narcissistic, and thinking he knows what's best for everyone even when he doesn't.
The only explanation that works is that he doesn't get rid of the add-on due to the fact it would put Daisy and the other hospital vees out of a job.
Last, but certainly not least, is the fact that pokemon other than eevee exist in the trainer's PC. We even get to see one of the other boxes. My point here is that the other pokemon would notice something wrong eventually. Best case senario, they notice due to realizing they can feel pain. Worst, they notice due to a major injury not being healed by the PC.
Those pokemon would want to know what happened. Amusing they either are told the truth or find out on their own, why wouldn't they ask Vay to take off the add-on. If Dusk (since he is the only one I can think of who would try to spin a story) told them a lie, then would every pokemon in the entire PC believe him. Charm and smooth words can only go so far.
___________________________________________________
I have two extra questions I thought up while writing this.
Bonus question 1: How did the trainer know that Harmony was injured? Did vay tell her? She check the pokemon's health in the PC often (both stat, and convential health)?
Bonus 2: If we know pokemon can learn to read and write, then why have none of the pokemon other than Vay tried to communicate with their trainer. What is the point of using Vay as a translator, when the pokemon could just write to the trianer? Do they just want to hide how much they know?
On top of that, if pokemon can learn to use computers, what's stooping them from just using text to speech, completely circumventing Vay all together.
bonus 3: Do the pokemon age in the PC? We know Eve is around two years old, so is she physically still a newborn, or has she physically grown?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Summary/tl;dr
q1: What are the specifics of how the damage allowing add-on was put into the PC?
q2: How does this add-on, and the PC system's healing ability, work?
q3: Why didn't their trainer take the add-on off the PC?
q4: Why didn't Dusk take the add-on off the PC?
q5: Why didn't any of the other pokemon in the PC take off the add-on?
bq1: How did the trainer know that Harmony was injured?
bq2: Why don't we ever see pokemon that know how to write communicate with the trainer?
bq3: Do the pokemon physically age in the PC?
Author chan: Over here asking the important questions! Alright! I can explain!
The mod basically prevents pokemon from healing without outside means like things that can heal a pokemon, Potions, full heals, antidotes, etc etc. This is why it's called the Damage keeper mod.
Normally in the PC, pokemon can feel pain, but they will quickly heal overtime, but with the mod, it just stops this function all together. Usually in the world, it's used with the "No heal on Entrance" mod for trainers who participate in Nuzlocke challenges.
Vay inputted the Damage keeper mod into the PC for one reason, and one reason only. No, he wasn't loopy, He knew what he was doing, and added it on purpose. It was a pretty selfish decision all in all, but I can't say the reason why. It's vaguely hinted to tho. Yes! It makes no sense to have a mod like that inputted in universe. Literally no other character would ever put in this mod into the if given the chance! But, Vay put it in for a specific purpose. Said purpose was actually shown in "Battle scars". Now. Why would Vay do this? Why would he input a mod that makes all pokemon to keep the damage they receive in the box?
Well. He simply only thinks of himself. He didn't think or care about the effect the mod would have on the other pokemon in the PC, just how he could use it to do what he wanted to do. And yes. Vay is a jerk. He's my least favorite main for a reason, you know.
Next up!
As said in comic 200c, Mods are very hard to take off. Why? Well. We are dealing with actual creatures. One wrong move and hundreds of them will get corrupted and essentially die. This isn't like Minecraft, despite me comparing the PC to a minecraft server for explaining how it works to others. Since this mod affects the pokemon directly, its harder to remove because it’s just a big risk for the pokemon. This is also why Dusk cant just remove it. It is too big of a risk to all the pokemon in the PC, which there are over 1000 of at this point. Healing items and free hospitals are a temporary fix.
Also! Blizz does try to help with the bullying, as seen with comic #302, where he states "It's a misunderstanding" followed by text covered by Bolt talking/ignoring him saying "I saw a greenpaw eevee being bullied by Mike and Tike and-" Which, we see on page #298 Tike was the eevee he was punishing.
Lastly! Why don't the other pokemon notice. Well, The few who have been in a PC before do, but most of the pokemon were wild pokemon before they appeared in the PC, so they don’t know how a normal PC feels like. And ofc, how would a pokemon know who to ask about why the PC works the way it does? Mods are common in the world, cause trainers like to give PC pokemon things to do while rotting away. This is actually going to be talked about with Eevui, the new Eevee the trainer obtained via wondertrading. He was in a normal PC before he was traded, so he'd notice the difference, and will comment on it. Funny thing, I have a comic about him trying to describe the PC to pokemon who never been in one before before he goes in the trainer's pc, and it looks completely different from OUR PC box.
Bonus Questions!!
Harmony was brought out of the PC, to the pokemon center, and a nurse Joy informed her that her pokemon was badly injured.
Bro, you so right. I realized this last year and was like "omg" until I remembered that- Pokemon language is different from human language. Ofc, there are pokemon who can read human language in the world, but pokemon and human stuff are different. And in the PC, things are translated into pokemon if not already in pokemon. This does mean pokemon can write to the trainer and it can get translated, but Vay is just an easier method of translation, especially for pokemon who have a harder time reading, writing, and typing (also there are different pokemon languages as well so oof) then like. Not every pokemon knows how to read and write. It’s a privlage usually given only to few captive pokemon. Wild pokemon learning how to read/write in their own language is VERY RARE, especially due to the lack of materials. And the only civilized boxes in the PC are box 1, 2, and 3, so only pokemon living in those boxes have a reason to learn how to read, and resources to learn.
Pokemon are born the height that they stay at all their life, unless they evolve. (Or are Nego. The little weirdo) This is to mimic how it is in pokemon games. So, no. Pokemon don't physically grow. They DO mentally age however. Pokemon tend to age mentally at different rates, so for example, a newborn who is immediately thrusted into situations not meant for a baby (ie, breeding, battling, contests) will mentally age faster than someone (like Eve) Who has stayed in the PC all their life. Nego and Eve are about the same age (Nego being 6 months older) Yet, Nego acts like an infant while Eve does not. This is because Nego ages physically and mentally like a human, while Eve ages quicker mentally, like pokemon do. This also tends to mean that when a pokemon is born doesn't matter much, as they can mentally be ahead or behind.
I hope these answered your questions!! I like talking about SSEC world building! (Its just that I never have the chance to talk about it in detail QuQ)
1. Who is your favorite member to write for? Based of the studies of 100 Yale students, they have come to the conclusion that your favorite character is indeed the Korean hottie, male Lee Hyunjae. Would you like to elaborate on this discovery?
2. What character do you find the most difficult to write for? And why, since we know you like them difficult. You like a challenge. But, so do we, so no judgement there.
3. Do you have a favorite scene you’ve written? Scientists have said it to be a scene were Hyunjae is being the punching bag for comedic relief? Is that true? Explain.
4. Did you have any ideas that didn’t make the final cut? We have been notified through our secret source that a specific scene did not make the cut for the Sunwoo Soulmate AU. And with some digging, we have confirmed the fact that you are indeed gatekeeping a very steamy scene. Care to explain?
5. Do you listen to music when writing? If yes, please do tell.
7. What story do you feel the proudest of? We know it's not Take A Hint which is borderline plagiarism, but moreover slander. So please inform the viewers of the fic you're most attached too.
8. Do you prefer writing one-shots or multi chaptered stories? We know you have commitment issues and it will play into this question. But that is ok. Who doesnt have commitment issues in 2021? We support you. We love you.
9. If you had to assign a song to a fic, which would you assign? Why? Do please keep in mind the age of your audience and choose your words carefully as we'd like to make sure everyone is comfortable.
11. How would you describe your style? (Character/emotion/action-driven, etc)
12. Who is your favorite author? Why? What led you to fall in love with their words? What led you to be in love?
13. When did you start writing fanfics? What moved you to become an author of many poetic words? Who inspired you? Did you ever expect to make it this far?
14. How do you feel about your older work? Would you like to burn next to them like everyone else, or do you remain optimistic and see it as growth in progress?
no you didn't. i've been laughing all day already and now we have a hyunjae literature review aldkfja KOREAN HOTTIE LEE HYUNJAE
1. FINE it's hyunjae and he's fun to write ok 🙄 would've said juyeon but i think i'm past that phase :') oh but i also do like writing sunwoo in certain contexts, e.g. you look hideous on me
2. i do like a challenge 🙄 but uh maybe kevin and haknyeon? as most difficult within tbz? which is why they're not on my mlist yet...
3. the sm*t scene that ur not getting 😶 jk hmm i really liked the rooftop scene in you look hideous on me!! but if we're talking hyunjae then it'd be the scene after that, where y/n tells him (and juyeon) what happened on the rooftop and he's just like "sunwoo will be back bc every hour is missing y/n hours" :')
4. AHAHA NOPE not that [redacted] scene, though maybe i'll write it out and put it on the burner blog eventually. i think for the juyeon chem lab one i had more ideas for the scene in the chem lab. for example, y/n gets so nervous and drops some tool into the organic waste (true story, very embarrassing. cute lab partner found it funny tho. pretty sure my TA laughed too)
5. i listen to sad/slow songs when writing angst :') which is also the only time i listen to sad songs LOL. but ngl sometimes music is distracting when i'm trying to hear the flow of the words in my head
7. BORDERLINE PLAGIARISM AHAHA. it's gotta be between my big three (chem lab, soulmates, younghoon) + the jaehyun (soon to be hyunjae) christmas fic? i'll have to reread the younghoon one to judge but since the sunwoo one had more world building, let's go with that
8. one shots 🤡 bc yes commitment issues. although i'm getting better with writing longer word counts!! i know a writer who considers 10k a drabble and um i hope i don't end up like that
9. baekhyun's drown for you look hideous on me 🤡 gives u an idea of what was in the [redacted] scene. AHAHA DEFINITELY NOT AGE APPROPRIATE but yes that's what i listened to when writing that scene hehe
11. umm... dialogue/plot driven? i guess i try for emotions and character development tho
12. u know my fave authors already :') i think the ones i like tend to write very poetically? much description, very flow. and love isn't real 🙄
13. 2011 :') i was inspired by cute kpop boys ok. come this far in terms of improvement in writing? i'm at a plateau now ok 😭 probably peak rn though. i think i finally surpassed my 2017 writing
14. i would like to pretend they never existed but at the same time, yes they are a good indication of growth
Okay, what we know is that Quirrell screams terribly from Harry's touch and gets severe burns. Voldy tries to push him verbally into killing Harry, and Quirrell can't get a grip of himself even though Voldemort, who he is terribly afraid of, tries to force him.
We don't know how serious the damage had been when Harry let him go and fainted. Harry holds his arm, which gets magical burns of unknown to us intensity and spreading ratio – a quick touch seemed to give a pretty serious burn, and Harry holds him tight and for long; and I'm pretty sure that "love-protection" is supposed to be a really STRONG defence. Like not the kind you could overcome with just not being a pussy and tolerating some pain; Lily's love protection is supposed to prevent him from death (and it's super dumb how in the magical world where people aren't usually physically fighting it manifests through the touch; I'm sorry, but that's even dumber if it protects from the-ultimate-horrendous-murder Avada Kedavra and leaves burns like an oven or something).
Dumbledore's arrival "in time" implies that Harry could have died or at least get a nastier injury then the one that made him lie in bed just from their physical contact for three days – since Quirrell clearly wasn't capable of killing anyone at the moment. And Dumbledore pulls Quirrell off Harry. I hope I am understanding this phrasal verb correctly, but doesn't "pull off" mean "physically remove" in this context? Albus doesn't say he stopped Quirrell from cursing him or held Quirrell back, so I'd suggest they both fainted and that's why their bodies were physically in contact. Quirrell's hand "wrenched" out eventually, but Harry's grip loosened, and pulling away from the burning surface is literally our basic reflex, so I don't think he had been still putting up a fight. The fact that an adult man couldn't get his hand out of a hold of the scrawny 11yo for me says that Quirrell was feeling really REALLY not well and his mind probably didn't function properly so he didn't punch Harry with his boot or whatever.
Could Voldemort's leaving influence Quirrell's death? Yes, and I think it did weaken Quirrell even more, but I don't think the books ever stated Voldy had been the one whose departure directly killed Quirrell.
Albus himself isn’t saying that Voldemort killed Quirrell. He "left him to die", apparently realizing that this body is no longer viable, since I bet it's better to posess a failure of a servant but with a usable human body than to be a spirit or a stupid non-magical short lived snake. Voldemort says he didn't hope at all to possess another wizard, so the situation was probably rather sad for him to just give up on Quirrell and not try to escape at all. "Left" is a causative verb here, meaning that Voldy allowed or caused that situation without direct action – an intricate word choice! Moreover, I'm not sure I can explain to myself why would that happen? They've been very intervened, maybe more than Harry and Voldy and by a different mechanics, but the departure of a soul stub doesn't remove the main host? Actually Voldy's soul being PRESENT in creatures shortened their life-span, not him leaving! Maybe I miss something, but to me all the information we get during and right after the occurrence in PS softly points that is was Harry's self-defence kill or at least he played a significant part at Quirrell's death along with Voldy, who almost isn't present in that part of the chapter aside from howling to kill Harry and than being stated to abandon his servant, unlike the tension between Harry and Quirrell that builds up and then explodes.
The Voldemort's confession came later, so Harry wouldn't have taken it under consideration if he happened to think about Quirrell's death at least once before GoF. But I still see problems with it. "The servant died when I left his body" isn't equal to "The servant died because I left his body." The first sentence states that the two events happened at the same time or in close succession – it's a temporal clause rather than causal. If we agree that Voldy wouldn't have left Quirrell unless he wouldn't have another choise – it's can also be that the latter was the cause of the former looking at the first sentence since the caise isn't in the grammatical structure. Or yet again, Voldy's departure had been the last push, but it wasn't his presence that killed Quirrell, like with snakes, or his mere abscence, but rather the context Harry had shaped And frankly, Voldy is sooo arrogant, of course he decided that him leaving would've killed the guy, like he thinks he's immaculate and irreplaceable.
I've always read it as Harry's defence kill from the way it's shown and talked about, like in my childhood brain it was obvious, and I still think it's pictured rather this way in PS. At best I might consider that Harry's part at that was smaller than Voldemort's. Also Harry didn't really care after killing Tom Riddle from the diary who wasn't fully a person?? But looked and behaved as one, like I'd be a bit worried if I killed that thing afterwards even if it was evil just for the sake of not being a killer (like Harry preventively worries about killing real Voldy in OotP). So I don't even think that's out of character for Harry to not give a fuck.
harry killed a person when he was 11 and forgot about it
"He was not ready to see their expressions when he told them that he must be either murderer or victim, there was no other way..." (OotP) technically you already DID murder a person, Harry, I'm sorry.
#correct me if you think i'm wrong on any details or interpretations I'm so sleep starved#harry potter#hp fandom#hp meta#quirinus quirrell#albus dumbledore#i'll probably clean that from typos later but i got tired lol so i'm just posting it
