in my mind post-gang war shipwreck seems to have a few different phases
1: he feels so guilty and traumatized over having killed a dude that he becomes a clingy, whiny bitch who fears for sharky's safety and flinches every time he hears a siren. like he's so annoying when i imagine him i myself cant handle it
2: once he gets over his guilt with sharky's help he becomes a lot more defensive. now that the gang's acting a little more like a gang he becomes uber-wary of sharky possibly starting to act like thresher (yknow, the guy he killed) and the two may have a falling out over this. he's also still afraid to come anywhere near a gun
3. a decent amount of time has passed since the gang war, and shipwreck's pretty much back to his old self. his hair's grown back out to where his scar is hidden, maybe a bit gray from aging - he'd likely be more in his late 30s at this point in the timeline. except now he's grown maybe a little too comfortable with joking about killing people, where before the reaction would've been "haha lol murder joke" it's now more like an awkward "haha... yeah... funny...". oh and also at this point sharky and shipwreck have made amends
from there honestly i dont even know. i dont even have a proper conclusion to the overall story LOL

ESSENTIAL GAY HISTORY MOVIES (according to me, with a focus on the controversial)
The Wizard of Oz (1939) - Included because I actually met a young queer person who didn't believe me that this is a historical lgbt movie. I'm sorry but if you haven't seen this I'm revoking your gay license.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1972) - Another one I'm including just in case someone hasn't seen it and needs a reminder to do so (I know teenagers read my blog.)
Pink Flamingos (1972) - A John Waters movie. His films are bizarre, gross comedies and unlike any others.
Female Trouble (1974) - Another John Waters feature, this one has one of my favorite lines from any movie, "son, why don't you stop fooling around with these straight women and find yourself a nice queer to settle down with?" (paraphrased)
Desperate Living (1977) - My favorite John Waters picture, this one is bordering on epic fantasy. It's set in a shantytown in the woods, populated by gay criminals, ruled by an evil queen.
Dog Day Afternoon (1975) - Based on a true story about a guy who robbed a bank to pay for his girlfriend's gender reassignment surgery.
The Forbidden Zone (1980) - THE OINGO BOINGO MOVIE. Not only is the soundtrack Danny Elfman's best work (in this writer's humble opinion) but it's also a beautiful movie about love for the controversial and perverse. Obviously it was made by queers and people of color, but they were trying to be offensive, so they do shit like, have characters in blackface, but also black actors, sometimes in the same scene (an artistic choice as confusing to a modern audience as it was when they made it.)
Killer Condom (1996) - A German murder mystery/comedy about a gay cop. Very corny and lighthearted, it feels more like an 80s movie.
Velvet Goldmine (1998) - A sweet and poignant romance between two male rockstars. This one feels like it came from within my own heart.
Cruising (1980) - Another murder mystery, this time centered around a bisexual cop, only this one isn't a comedy. They shot footage in actual gay bondage bars in New York, but the hardcore stuff got cut because I guess god hates us ( lol). You can still tell in some scenes they're really fisting dudes and shit.
The Gay Deceivers (1969) - Two straight men pretend to be a gay couple to dodge the draft. They move to a gay neighborhood and have to blend in with their neighbors.
Feel free to suggest more, I'm sure there's a lot I didn't think of.

YOU WRITE FOR RANDY?? HELL YEAH!! Could I request some general relationship hcs for him??
Y! RANDY MEEKS X GN! READER
Cw: Manipulation, obsessive behavior, harassment, threats, violence
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It can be said that you are a horror lover just like him .
A horror weirdo who knows the entire Halloween saga.
If you didn't meet him through your interest in horror movies, then he may know you through someone.
Let's say you met Randy through Sidney.
Why lie? It was an immediate crush
You liked horror movies, you knew his favorite movies by heart.
God, you even had your own little DVD collection in your room just like him.
It would be stupid if he didn't feel understood and warm.
And it was no surprise to anyone that you two became great comrades.
They were always together watching movies or telling horror stories in the basement of his house.
It was fun, you always laughed and got a little scared
Comedy and horror always go hand in hand
For Randy, you were like his fiance future
Fiancé is a strong word, right?
But it was the truth
Little by little, he felt like spending more time with you was like being in heaven.
And that's strange because he never believed in religion
Maybe you made it change. Maybe not
But that didn't matter, you were here with him and he would keep it that way.
After he convinced you to spend more time with him, ignoring your friends and sometimes your family, he made you stay with him.
It was hard, but nothing he couldn't do.
Strangely, your parents were murdered, and he became your shoulder of support.
But it was fine. He would stay with you.
Don't worry if you don't want to go back to school. He will be more than happy to lock you in his room.
You wouldn't know it, after all you trust him
And it has in its favor that people are very gullible, no one will ask about you when they say that you simply moved away.
Maybe you just went to live with a distant aunt named Terry like that.
It doesn't matter much either.
Sorry for the bruises, love... He just has to show you who's boss.
And so it will keep you in line
There is always romance in horror, right?

RHEA RIPLEY X READER

Orlando, Florida means one thing... TRAFFIC JAM.
"Hey babe i'm stuck in the traffic...shit this bastard!" said an upset Demi.
"What happened?" You asked worried shifting your phone to the other ear.
"Oh nothing babe just a fucker cutting my way with his scooter" answered the wrestler
"I always wondered how this type of people have a license, they are a living danger jeez" you said
"Yeah i should've run over him and his stupid scooter" replied the girl
"Demi! Hahahaha you can't!" My god. She was so funny. You were so lucky to have her as a girlfriend.
Demi thought the same thing. When you first met she was so fascinated, you were so respectful, kind and funny. That's why she decided to get to know you.
Where you met? On backstage 2 year ago, during a short interview. You were the interviewer.
You asked something like her favorite holiday, biggest pet peeve, fan crush, biggest fear...
Since the atmosphere during the interview was to her liking, light, she decided to exchange numbers.
The rest happened fast.
Becoming friends, be there for just a (favorite cafè beverage) or a serious topic like her brake up with his ex boyfriend or her matches.
You had so much fun with her and then, some months later you fell in love. You adored her.
She was always there for you and you for her.
At first you didn't say anything, you just wanted to be near the wrestler as a friend i mean.. she was heterosexual you hadn't a chance but then you decided to tell her because she was becoming a really important and special person in your life.
You just couldn't give up your romantic feelings so you needed Rhea to reject you to move on or the opposite.
Flashback
You were at the wrestler house, on the couch, for a movie night.
Yeah movie night. You become so close that every Saturday possible you would come to her house to watch a movie. From horror to comedy movies.
"Demi i need to tell you something" you said nervously worried
Rhea looked in your eyes and asked you, worried as well "Yeah, tell me... Is everything okay Y/n?"
You nodded "Yes! Everything is fine but i'm a little nervous. I know how to say this but i don't know how you will take it, i want to tell you without you excluding me from your life. I care too much now, i'd be sad if you left me "
Demi took your hands and played with your fingers to relax you "Don't worry darling i won't leave you..." Then you saw her gasp and say "No! No Y/n you traitor. I know what you did, where this is going"
You died in the spot. Fuck. You were fucked.
"You, you watched the new Dragonball film without me, like we promised" she continued saying.
"What? Ahahahah No! Demi! You almost gave me a heart attack" you said slapping her tattooed toned arm.
"Agh it's all so easy and hard at the same time! Okay i'll tell you" she squeezed your hands in reassurance and after looking at her beautiful eyes you find the courage "I-I simply love you Demi, not only as a friend"
Her expression calmed for a second and then she gave you a big smile.
"I do too" she answered you, her thick Australian accent showing.
At this point you didn't know what made you go more crazy, if her answer or the accent you loved.
You blinked and screamed low "WHAT?! REALLY?! But i thought you.."
She laughed and said "Yeah. It was a surprise for me too. I realized it last month when you were being cute to the barista, when i saw her gay panic i though 'I can relate' "
Whispering you repeated her words not believing it "Gay panic?"
You went red. You were excitedly and positively embarrassed.
Demi "yeah"
You "Are you Bi?"
Demi "Yeah i'm"
You "I thought...i thought"
Demi "Me too but here i'm. Not a big thing. Love is love. I only know that i love talking and spending time with you and to tell you the truth i'm dying to kiss you. Can i kiss you? "
You "Yeah! Of cour-"
She hugged and kissed you sweetly. You then sit on her lap, grabbed gently her hair and deepened the kiss.
Finally you were kissing your beloved Demi Bennett and your stomach was feeling it all. Spinning and twisting.
After the kiss you rested your forehead on hers and smiled, she did the same.
You were so happy.
You hugged her neck and told her "I love you, i love youu" she laughed, rubbing your back and answered "me too babe"
That's how the answers to that song you often listened and related were answered.
What song? More than a friend by Girli

I just finished reading Johnny the Homicidal Maniac by Jhonen Vasquez. To be honest, I didn't really know what to expect going in- all I've ever heard about it was from people going "Can you believe Nickelodeon asked a guy who makes stuff like that to make a children's show!?" After reading it, I can say that it's definitely interesting in a way I don't think any basic plot description could've fully prepared me for, and I kind of want to dump my thoughts about it as I just come away from it.
As the title would suggest, its most noticeable surface-level feature is that there is a lot of gore. It gets about as brutal and graphic as it can with its cartoony art style- I was actually a little bothered by it a couple of times. There are a lot of things reminiscent of Invader ZIM beyond its art style- it shares a lot of the same humor, its randomness (often to the point of stupidity), and the chaotic nature of the story progression. (There are also two aliens that show up in a few pages that I'm pretty sure are the same aliens that appeared in the IZ episode Abducted, which would mean that ZIM and JTHM take place in the same universe...? Interesting.) In a lot of ways, it had the same energy as ZIM, but lacking the restraints of a children's network- admittedly, it was very fun and tickled the twelve-year-old ZIM fan part of my brain.
The story itself is a bit trippy and somewhat disjointed. There are lots of times where Johnny will go on long monologues about how he sees himself and the world (alongside blocks of text at the beginning and end of each issue from Jhonen himself). The actual story is cut up in-between little unrelated comics of various characters getting slaughtered and mutilated in some way, facing their inner turmoils and making other people miserable, or yelling incoherent word salads and then getting murdered. You are often left unsure as to whether some of the story's events were really happening or just Johnny dreaming or making things up. It also gets kind of cosmic horror-ish at one point, but that proceeds to end itself somewhat abruptly.
I haven't looked at any discussion of the comic and what it's *really* about yet, but my first impression coming out of it is that it's... a lot of things, really? It's a nihilistic black comedy, but I got the feeling that it was also somewhat of a vent story- A lot of JTHM is dark humor and absurd scenarios for the sake of societal criticism and expressing frustration with the world. It brings up a lot of ideas about what the "nature" of humanity is, if there is a caring God, the good and bad of living, and ultimately, what the true "evils" of society are and what causes them- all told through the eyes of a weird morally bankrupt loner that likes torturing and murdering people he doesn't like.
Most of the people that Johnny goes after are assholes and bullies, generally bad people, or anyone that just generally upsets or inconveniences him in day-to-day life. His arc throughout the story is discovering who and what "controls" him in his search for true freedom- and through that, he realizes that he, himself, is a massive contributor to why everything is so awful, eventually seeing people like himself as one of society's issues (but not really doing anything to change or control his behavior, which, to me, suggested he really never attained the "freedom" he desired so much). It was quite interesting to have a main character like that.
And, while I do not really know anything about Jhonen Vasquez as a person, a good amount of Johnny's traits struck me as... maybe a bit of a projection? A lot of the blocks of text from Vasquez at the start of issues will have him describe his thoughts and behaviors, and then in the story, Johnny displays a lot of those same thoughts and behaviors, like his hatred of sleep resulting in him regularly staying up the entire night and his tendency to experience loneliness and sadness (though, of course, these blocks of text might also be Jhonen simply putting up a persona as well.) Still, though, I wouldn't be too surprised if a lot of things about Johnny were in fact an exaggerated depiction of the author's own perceived negative traits and turned into an edgy serial killer character (especially since I know that this is indeed the case for a lot of Vasquez's characters, like ZIM in his inability to realize when his ideas won't work and Dib in his undying need to prove himself above all else in IZ.)
JTHM was one of the most unique things I've read in a while- it's one of those stories that sticks in your brain and leaves an uneasy feeling in you when you come away from it, but it definitely has a lot of substance to it beyond the "edgelord serial killer gorefest" surface-level appearance. It doesn't give you any moments of comfort in its overt negativity, but I think it manages to come out as something meaningful beyond just a nihilist "everything is awful and there's nothing you can do about it" message. It's definitely not for everyone, but if you're up for it, I'd really recommend giving it a shot.

August Movie Reviews
I haven’t been in the mood to do full reviews for a bit so here is a list of everything I’ve watched in August and what I thought!
Re-animator (1985) dir. Stuart Gordon: 5/5 ⭐️ this movie was so much fun! A really campy and beautifully done take on Frankenstein, two grad students (with homosexual undertones) brings people back to life with beautifully done practical effects. Will definitely be rewatching soon.
Bride of Re-animator (1990) dir. Brian Yuzna: 5/5 ⭐️ I can’t decide if which of these movies I enjoyed more, they were both so entertaining but personally the design of the undead bride is absolutely breathtaking and one of my favorite designs of all time. I can’t recommend this movie enough, such a fun watch.
The Truman Show (1998) dir. Peter Weir: 5/5 ⭐️ I am dumbfounded that this movie is classified as a comedy and not a horror comedy, the plot of this movie is genuinely one of the most terrifying things I can think of. (Heed caution watching this movie if you struggle with de-realization) This movie terrified me, made me cry, and had me clapping and cheering at the end. Fantastic movie.
The Return of the Living Dead (1985) dir. Dan O’Bannon: 5/5 ⭐️ As a huge lover of zombie movies I’ve got to classify this as my favorite zombie movie of all time. It’s super funny, the characters are awesome, and the zombie design is fantastic. The Tarman is my favorite zombie design ever and I LOVE how we get a reason for the brain eating from the actual zombies themselves. If you love campy 80’s horrors and zombies this is a must see.
The Evil Dead (1981) dir. Sam Raimi: 5/5 ⭐️ I am a huge evil dead fan so I am biased when I say I love all the evil dead movies. I love a gory horror movie that does not take itself serious at all. It’s so funny and campy and is just a fun watch if you can enjoy a movie without needing to dissect it. The gore and practical effects are so gross and awesome and the demons are a great time.
I Saw the Tv Glow (2024) dir. Jane Schoenbrun: 5/5⭐️ Everyone should watch this movie but if you are transgender you HAVE to see this movie. It portrays the horror, damage, and suffering that living your life in the closet can do to you. I could spend hours dissecting this movie and relating it to the trans experience but I guarantee if you relate to having grown up in any capacity as the wrong gender you will be bawling by the end of this movie. An absolute must watch.
Sleepaway Camp (1983) dir. Robert Hiltzik: 5/5 ⭐️ I love a fun slasher movie that takes place at a summer camp and this one does not disappoint. While trying not to give too much away if you haven’t seen it, some people believe this movie to be transphobic, and while I understand where they’re coming from I completely disagree. I consider this movie to be a trans allegory showing how dangerous it is to someone’s mental health to force them to be someone they’re not and the damage it can inflict to them and others. Great movie with a great ending.
The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017) dir. Yorgos Lanthimos: 5/5 ⭐️It took me two watches to really appreciate this movie and I can’t fully talk about my thoughts without spoiling it, but this is a great psychological horror with such weird characters. If you’re watching this movie and wondering why every character is SO strange, talks weird, moves weird, and acts weird then just know that is absolutely intentional! Great watch and I recommend a few watches to really absorb the movie!
House of 1000 Corpses (2003) dir. Rob Zombie: 4.5/5 ⭐️ My boyfriend called this movie a love letter to horror and I have to agree. This is a fun campy horror that really has a lot of fun in its character designs and creative kills. It’s both very comedic while being disturbing and bizarre. (And Captain Spaulding is obviously queer coded, just how I like my favorite horror characters to be). A fun watch for any horror fan.
Blackfish (2013) dir. Gabriela Cowperthwaite: 4/5 ⭐️ I know I am 11 years late to watching this movie, and although not the best documentary I’ve ever seen, it got its point across very well. I had known about a lot that was in this doc but I still learned a lot that I hadn’t known. A very heart wrenching story about animal abuse at Sea World but with must know information. Even though it brought change (sea world is no longer allowed to capture or breed Orcas) I’m still distraught that Sea World is still operational to this day.
Lisa Frankenstein (2024) dir. Zelda Williams: 5/5 ⭐️ this movie is absolutely fantastic. Campy, funny, aesthetic, and romantic all wrapped in one. The characters were written in such a fun and in your face way. If you were ever “the weird girl” this movie is absolutely made for you. I love Lisa’s character so much and I love how throughout the movie she worked to be herself despite everyone BUT a dead guy wishing she were “normal”. Cinema is so back, this is the kind of movie I want to see.
Edit* yes technically the truman show is classified as a comedy *I* don’t consider it a comedy but I didn’t make the movie lol (well i guess technically a psychological comedy drama but yeah)

Audio Drama Sunday - 19th November ✨
Happy Audio Drama Sunday!! I had such a busy week again but spent most of it thinking about the end of Wolf 359 🥲
🦀 @thesiltverses (36) Jesus Christ, this episode made me feel tooo many things.I was genuinely unsettled by this newly introduced God and that terrible feeling of waiting for the inevitable to happen, whilst also being so invested in the blossoming relationship. And the sound design was absolutely popping OFF. God, the last 30 seconds? Someone resuscitate me. Incredible choices were made and the pay off was heart breaking.
🧳 @monstrousproductions (2) Travelling Light continues to be so, so lovely for the ears! Even so early on, the world-building is so accomplished and I want to live there 🥺 Our traveller seems like such a sweetheart and I’m looking forward to finding out who they help next!
🌒 Moonbase Theta, Out (@monkeymanproductions) Aaah Ahnung! What a beautifully told and crushingly hopeful story of her time in the North. Her and Elio’s relationship is so sweet as well! And it’s good to see that there’s hope for even the most devious of bastards. I can’t wait to hear the Q+A and the special announcement!
🤴@itmeblog InCo (S2 24-26) My favourite little prisoner is doing such a good job of keeping his mouth shut. Proud of you, Hatov. I’d get you a hammock anytime.
💫  I finished Wolf 359 this week and oh my goddd, they really saved all the best twists until last, didn’t they. I completely understand why this is so many people’s most favourite audio drama of all time. The characters, the plot, the comedy, it’s got everything. Listening really made me want to be better at everything from a creator point of view and I love feeling inspired like that!!
⚓️ @eelerschoice (4) Aaah, I had such a good time eeling this week! I love the magic in this show and the consequences of using such magic feel so real! I can’t believe we’re halfway through, I don’t want it to end!
❤️‍🔥I started The Love Talker this week. I’m usually a bit wary of horror that centres violence against women (a certain Stephen King burned me a few too many times) but I’m interested to see where this goes! It’s so, so strange to hear W Keith Tims as this awful, malevolent character after being using to hearing him as The Book of Con’s Simon!!
Have the best of best weeks!! 🥰

Fright Night AU ramble
one day I'll give this a proper post with well thought out thoughts but just make due with this
----
Fright Night. FUCKING. Fright Night. This is the vampire series for me. While you hoes were waiting for Rob Pattinson to peak after Twilight, I had this. Your Boyfriend, nor John Doe, nor even Sunny Day Jack wasn’t my introduction to erotic horror – this was. It may not have been named such in genre. But to me, it defined the very essence of it. Blood, sex, suspense, even comedy. You want it, it has it.
The premise itself is pretty simple. A high schooler named Charlie Brewster spies on his new neighbor, Jerry Dandridge, as he’s hooking up with a prostitute. Through the window he witnesses Jerry bite the woman and have his live-in assistant take out the trash the next day. Being a paranormal enthusiast and avid watcher of the monster show, Fright Night, he is led to believe that Jerry is a vampire. He then enlists the help of the tv shows’ host, Peter Vincent, after Jerry sets his sights on his girlfriend, Amy.
There are 4 film installments in the franchise.
You may ask me, “Elf, why the fuck are you telling me this and why should I care? You labeled this a sunny day jack thing, you’re losing me.”
Well, maybe you should be patient and LISTEN because I’m going to rock your shit okay? First off, we’re following the 2009 installment because while the ‘85 one is great, I personally find the former more of an entertaining watch.
We already have Vampire Jack, right? Put him in the role of Jerry Dandridge, but as Joseph/Jacktor as his “human” form. He totally fits ‘09 Jerry imo.
One of my MCs, Cloudy, is the Brewster of this story. Cloudy doesn’t have all that much interest in the supernatural like the original lead, but she’s repressed and curious, with a drive for solving mysteries so I believe that she would spy on someone if she hyped herself up enough.
Oh, even better – because I’m a ShaunXCloudy shipper – Shaun is her boyfriend in this. He’s the one with the paranormal obsession, and is even a bit bummed to find out that Cloudy has an in-the-flesh vampire as her next door neighbor!
I think maybe Ian would be the “Evil” Ed of this universe? He is very shrimpy and paranoid like him, at least in the version of the 2009 installment. He’s also very vulnerable like him, so I think that Jo would use that to his advantage before turning him into a vampire lackey.

1, 4, 5, 10, 17, 19 for Forever, and 1, 5, 9, 15, and 19 for White Collar?
Forever:
1. what got you into this story?
We have @ghostlyarchaeologist to blame thank for this one. Saw them posting about it several months ago and was actually in the mood to try watching a new TV show (which is rare). Out of all my mutuals, I think I trust them the most to have good taste in TV, so I decided to give it a try
4. assign this story a hyper-specific genre name, e.g. "inspirational religious semi-horror sci-fi western" (yes, that's Trigun)
Um... Idk I'm bad at this. Romantic comedy modern-fantasy crime-drama?
5. do you have a favorite character? who?
I mean they're all so great it's hard to choose but I gotta say Henry, followed shortly after by Abe.
10. if you made an amv about this, what song would you set it to?
@we-have-a-flying-sword pointed out to me the other day that Twenty Long Years by Lord Huron reminded her of Henry. It's not perfect and there are other songs that might work better, but it's a song I love and I do think it works really well.
17. compare this story to your usual tastes. how does it differ from what you've already enjoyed?
Honestly, aside from the fact that it's the first show about a medical examiner I've seen, it's pretty on brand for the kind of shows I like. Nice balance between funny lightheartedness and serious stuff.
19. pitch an idea for a sequel or spinoff novel for this story!
Gosh! I think it'll be a long time before I stop fantasizing about this show getting a reboot. I guess a reboot would start with a recap of what happened immediately following the last scene in the show. Then like, just more of the same I guess, only now there's more trust and transparency between Henry and Jo. I'd like to see them get together. It'd be a long time coming, but they had to wait till they had all their individual issues worked out.
White collar:
1. what got you into this story?
It all started with the show Chuck actually. Matt Bomer played a character in that who was pretty easy to dislike but at the same time I wanted to like him. I just couldn't. Later I decided to look him up to see if he was in anything that looked interesting where he played a more likeable character. I found White Collar and remembered that one of my sisters had said it was pretty good so I started watching it.
5. do you have a favorite character? who?
As I'm rewatching it now I'm remembering how much I love Sara Elis. But also Elizabeth Burke is and always will be absolute wife goals! Mozzy's great too... and Neal. I love a lot of them, really.
9. give the most UNHELPFUL and/or SILLY summary possible.
Tired FBI agent tries desperately (and kinda fails) to keep his crime child out of trouble.
15. what time are you most likely to be found reading/watching this story? (time of year, time of day, season of life, whatever makes sense to you)
Time of day: evening or night cuz I almost never watch TV during the day.
19. pitch an idea for a sequel or spinoff novel for this story!
I don't know what they have planned for the reboot that is actually happening but in a perfect world: Neal found Sara in Paris. (That's why he chose Paris, duh) (Wait she did go to Paris right? Idk it's been a while since I've seen it. I could be miss remembering it) And they are now living happily as a semi-normal couple. Neal is using his unique set of skills and knowledge to help Sara with her insurance recoveries and also doing a little crime on the side. Mozzy has found Neal and is there helping out and encouraging Neal to do more heists/cons. They keep in touch with the Burkes and visit them in the states all the time. Peter let's the world continue to believe Neal Cafrey is dead cuz he knows Neal deserves to be free and that's the only way for that to happen. But any time he needs help on a tricky case he'll call Neal for some unofficial help.
But Honestly I don't want there to be a reboot or spinoff. I liked where it ended and I feel like bringing it back now is a bad idea cuz it'll ruin what, in my opinion, was a satisfying and happy conclusion. I'm really not jazzed about the fact they're working on bringing it back, especially since Willy Garson won't be in it. What's the point without Mozzy!? And apparently Hillary Burton won't be in it either, so that ruins my idea stated above.

Prompt: DP x DC or Marvel (Mostly Marvel on this one)
For the record when it comes to DP I can't swear to what is canon/fanon. My DC/Marvel knowledge is better but I can't say which timeline/version is which. They have too many versions of people/events.
So, going with the thought that destroying the Ghost Zone/Infinite Realms would destroy the 'living' dimensions attached to it, it would serve to reason that more than just the "Earth" in that dimension would be at risk. Some fanon speaks of the possibility of 'pruning' dimensions that threaten the Realms sufficiently. Both Marvel and DC have extensive non-Earth people. Given that humans are threatening them, why wouldn't the Ancients turn to older or more powerful people in the 'problem' universe to shut down the upstart humans.
In DC, it could be the Green Lantern Corps. Forget Hal and them, just send someone to OA. It would be in the whole dimensions interest to stop the humans. I don't know GL lore well and I'm sure there are other groups that would come shut Earth down either diplomatically or taking it as an excuse to conquer. That's assuming Spectre himself didn't deal with the GIW and their backers himself. Given what he did to Constantine, he is more than powerful enough.
In a Marvel dimension, it could be the Nova Corps which I know even less lore about but are the closest things to space cops I know of. My original thought actually went to a different authority. Purely on Earth The Ancient One/Stephen Strange/Wong should be all over that kind of problem.
But! Outside of Earth there is a figure who claims to be the protector of the realms of Yggdrasil: (Niflheim, Muspelheim, Asgard, Midgard (EARTH!), Jotunheim, Vanaheim, Alfheim, Svartalfheim, Helheim)... ODIN!
Space cops are one thing, but Asguard is living mythology so the Realms, maybe a representative from Valhalla, sending a message (maybe a delegation of Ancients? Pandora, Clockwork, Vortex, Nocturne, Undergrowth, etc) to Odin that Earth is making trouble and it's his job to fix it? It lose lose for him if he doesn't. One, end of life for everyone there and two if he lets others investigate they might dig up his dirty little secret in Helheim (his 'dead' daugher Hela).
He is less than shocked of human stupidity and decides to send Thor to 'negotiate' and fix the problem. Timeline wise I'd say after Avengers but before Thor: Dark World. So Loki is currently imprisoned. Odin and Frigga think this will be an excellent chance for Thor to prove his ability to rule Asgard. The preferred method would be diplomatic, but Thor is expect to deal with the humans threatening the universe one way or the bloody way. Just in case, maybe Frigga has Loki ready to step in and actually be diplomatic.
So, Thor shows up back on Earth not to be a hero but to take on part (even if a very small part) of the US government. He announces his intentions loudly, maybe it gets overheard and his words (maybe not the smoothest ones) spread around.
Danny Phantom (ghost prince/king?) and his fraid (I know it's fanon, but I love it) get put in protective custody (likely with the Avengers) whether they like it or not. The Ancient actually stepping up and treating the kids like kids (horrors- Danny hates it-mostly) Tracking down Dani is harder, she probably gets in trouble with someone (GIW, Shieldra, etc). I feel like bad/especially dense Fenton parents might be prime pickings for Hydra.
I see a comedy of errors on Thor's part. Some angst from the ghosts being harmed by the GIW. A massive migraine from Tony Stark who is trying to be actually diplomatic, not piss off his own government, and deal with a small mid-western town that has an information lock down his tech hadn't detected before. (The whole of Amity disappeared for a bit) I see Steve taking Thor's declaration badly and not believing that 'ghosts' can destroy everyone. Shield/Hydra wants ecto-tech and has no issue 'detaining' ghosts.
I think I'll write at least the scene where Thor arrives back on Earth.
Other less fleshed out thoughts:
-Hela is totally at least part dead. Is she a halfa too? Hela mentors Danny eventually? O.O Maybe Danny decides he doesn't want to be KIng. Queen of Ghosts Hela. Maybe a less crazy Hela because she had ghosts to chill with all this time? Either way, Odin is in trouble now.

Okay big infodump that might not make any sense about The guy who didn’t like musicals, Black Friday, and genloss!!! They’re very similar and I think that’s very cool!!!! I love finding similarities between media I enjoy!!!!!!!!!!
‼️Spoilers for all 3 episodes of generation loss, Black Friday, and The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals!!! Also various descriptions of gore!!!‼️
-So this isn’t really an actual in-depth comparison but both the hatchetfield musicals and genloss are live comedy-horror shows that reuse actors and have an edited version posted on YouTube later and I think that is a really funny coincidence lmao
Okay so the first real thing that stuck out to me is that the comedy to horror balance of genloss is SOOO reminiscent of the hatchetfield musicals!! It’s part of why I adore genloss so much honestly. Starkid already has such a place in my heart, so watching something that gave that same comedy-to-horror balance made me fall in love with it immediately.
- Tgwdlm and Spirit of the Cabin I think are most similar in terms of tone. Both genloss and tgwdlm have that quality of “not scary until you think about it but once you do it’s HORRIFYING” concept and I’m SUCH A SUCKER FOR THAT. Granted, the horror of the first ep of genloss doesn’t hit that hard without the revelations of the second, but I feel like my point still stands. Also they both kind of poke fun at the horror genre in general?? Tgwdlm is supposed to parody the ENTITE horror genre, and I feel like with the amount of references to old horror movies in spirit of the cabin, I think it’s safe to say ranboo was doing something similar. (Also they both involve strange colored goo that replaces the appearance of actual gore?? Like when I realized what the slime was in genloss I couldn’t stop thinking about Charlotte’s blue intestines in Join Us And Die)
- While I don’t think it’s as great of a comparison, ep 2 and 3 of genloss definitely have a tone similar to Black Friday. Black Friday and The Mastermind of the Warehouse both have parts of them that are so absurd you start to wonder how it’s ever going to get that scary and then a bombshell drops out of NOWHERE. Like the feeling I got between What Do You Say and Feast or Famine in BF was the same as Charlie’s silly slime dissection turning to real blood and guts. I’d say towards the end of Black Friday it starts to feel like The Choice, but I don’t know how similar I could really say they are without reaching lol.
Okay here’s where I might just really want these to be more similar than they are BUT there’s also some really fun plot similarities between the hatchetfield musicals and generation loss!
- Mind control!! They both kind of have mind control! With tgwdlm, the weird goop shit can make people do things they normally would NEVER do. (Paul participating in a musical, Charlotte hurting people, Sam literally pointing a gun at his wife’s head and later ripping her insides out.) Wiggly in Black Friday also alters people’s perception in that way, making them more violent and desperate. The comparison of tgwdlm and genloss gets me the most though honestly. I think about how Professor Hidgens sings “you’ve just got to give up your choice” in Let It Out a LOT in terms of genloss ranboo. Nothing gl!ranboo does is HIS choice. He has to comply with the various games showfall makes him play if he wants to live or have any free will at all. Any time he breaks through the control and the filter, he becomes even more of an npc. None of his choices are his own.
- Okay this one’s more funny than serious but all of the hatchetfield shows and genloss have fucking time loop theories that make me insane actually. I keep desperately trying to make What If Tomorrow Comes make sense for genloss cause of the time loop implications but I’m really just grasping at straws lol let me BELIEVE.
- THE PROTAGONISTS DONT WIN (and it makes me so sad every time). Literally everyone in tgwdlm eventually dies/becomes a weird singing zombie. They even lure you into a false sense of hope with Paul and Emma that they managed to escape, just for it to be revealed that Paul has already been transformed and Emma has no hope for survival. In Black Friday, Wiggly remains undefeated, and the implied ending is that they get nuked by Russia due to the misplaced bomb. (tomorrow never comes!!) In generation loss, Sneeg is always so close but never truly reaches freedom, Charlie dies the moment he understands what has happened to him, and ranboo…..well. ⬛️ He even gets that same false sense of hope!! He defeats showfall, shuts it all down!! The exit is right there!!!!! He’s going to escape!!!!!! Just for him to get captured and crucified. The audience doesn’t even get to know if death really freed him. It’s that same kind of cruel ending where the protagonists efforts just,,,, don’t accomplish anything. The hero doesn’t succeed, and suffers for trying at all.
-there’s also like,,, religious imagery in Black Friday and genloss but nothing really to compare there, just neat
Okay silly rant over!!! I just really like genloss and the fact that it feels so similar to previous fixations I’ve had just makes it even more special to me :^)

I've been fascinated by the idea of sapient zombies since my child-to-teenage years, when Xanth books were purchased and devoured with full enthusiasm from my understimulated brain. Funny enough, Piers Anthony's weird sex ideas didn't leave that strong of an impression, but the choice that he made time and time again - to humanize monsters, showing them not just as creatures of destruction but thinking people with their own cultures and customs - that one stuck with me. And I loved the arc when people realized that zombies - formerly believed to be mindless due to their sluggishness and low reactivity - were revealed to, in fact, be people who were simply impaired by the nature of their bodies.
Every time I see another zombie movie, I find myself thinking "what if we didn't default to seeing them as mindless killing hordes?" There have certainly been movies that don't default to this - Night of the Living Dead used the concept very effectively to create genuine horror - but it feels like about 90% of the genre just thinks "mindless masses that it's acceptable to shoot". And I hate that.
It's why I really enjoyed Warm Bodies, a story that uses the concept to talk about depression and the harms of social isolation. Return of the Living Dead is another great entry, that plays the concept for both comedy and horror while acknowledging the humanity and suffering of those afflicted with the zombie disease. I love stories that explore and humanize these concepts, and I'm always looking for more of them.
Naturally, I've come up with a few different concepts of my own, starting with a Resident Evil RP character who was virtually unkillable but otherwise just having the weirdest day of their life. One of my recent takes involves a disease that overheats the brain, causing severe and permanent damage unless the patient can be refrigerated while the initial stage of undeath runs its course. The fact that this requires people to exercise compassion, and not just lock you in a room as soon as they see a bite, is of course the point. After a certain period of figuring things out, allowing victims to turn violent requires malice.
The trouble came when I tried working out how to adapt this concept to a setting without freezers. I've been batting around the idea of a post-apocalypse isekai for a while, largely as an excuse to write SHODAN-inspired cyber femdom, but then - as inspiration took hold, and I remembered one of the silliest post-apocalyptic settings of all time - as a broader parody of the cultural climate that gave us the Fallout games. But also just, in general, because "out-of-context environment where you have to survive" is a deeply compelling concept.
It's worth noting, I love silly worldbuilding. I love when things simply don't make any plausible sense and you can tell it was done that way because the writer(s) just wanted it to happen. Xanth is similar; the worldbuilding is an absolute mess because it's constantly focused on delivering More, Sillier Ideas. I eat that stuff up like I used to eat marshmallow cereal.
So when I set out to create this New Kind of Undead, I naturally got silly with it at once. My first idea was that you catch the disease when you're bitten by a weird beetle, because... shit, IDK, I just like beetles. Refrigeration isn't an option to protect the brain, so fuckit, we're doing live embalming - lifesaving measures for the freshly undead involve replacing most bodily fluids with alcohol. This is of course objectively ridiculous, because zombie virus or not, being embalmed should just kill you - but fuckit, it's for the bit.
Then I remembered the idea I had to parody Fallout's ghouls with people who were typically called mummies. And I went "hmm" and thought, you know what, covering an undead person in bandages makes a lot of sense, actually. Especially if they're still fresh and decaying, but even afterwards, that skin's not gonna grow back, you know? Protective coverings are in. Living mummies are in. And-
hey, wait a minute, I need to rethink that beetle bit.

Window To The Soul Part 1.
Tumblr media
Pairing: The Corinthian x GN! Reader   Genre: Fantasy, horror, drama Warnings: mentions of violence, some curse words Rating: 18+
You never believed in urban legends, but when you needed an idea for your next screenplay, you met a mysterious, strange man...
You looked into your fridge and sighed heavily. There wasn't much in it, just a carton of milk, a leftover slice of pizza and some fruit. You took out the milk, you saw that it was still good so you drank it. You've been at home for days and didn't know what to do with yourself.
Unfortunately, the curse of screenwriters has overtaken you: the writer’s block. Your previous works have been loved by both critics and audiences. You loved to write, but hated the attention, so you always wrote under a pseudonym to protect your privacy from the paparazzi and fans. You didn't even go to premieres, instead, when the film made from your script came out, you watched it in the cinema together with the civilian audience. You loved this because you could see the honest reaction of the viewers there.
Your works were all about human, down-to-earth topics: they were comedies or dramas. But this time you wanted to try something new that would push you out of your comfort zone. So you decided to try writing a horror film. The thought was there, but the idea did not come easily. You went to shower, put on your pajamas and fell into bed, hoping that the idea for your new script would come to you in your dreams.
A few days later, on your way home from shopping, you noticed the comic book store across the road. You've never been there before, but you thought you'd drop by tomorrow to see if you could get some inspiration.
The comic book store was just like what you imagined: shelves full of comics, superhero posters on the walls. You went straight to the salesman, whose name was written on his name tag: David.
"Hello David. Can you help me?" you asked him politely.
"Of course! Are you interested in something? Maybe a classic, Batman or Superman?” and with that he already reached over to the shelf behind him to show you said comics.
"Thank you, but I had something else in mind. You know, I'm a writer and I want to write a horror story, but I need inspiration or something interesting." the salesman thought for a moment before realizing you weren't there specifically for the comics. He leaned closer to you and whispered.
"I don't know, how interested you are in urban legends?" you raised your eyebrows in surprise.
"Well, I don't really believe in them, but I'll listen to them if they're interesting."
"Well, listen to this. There's a mysterious guy living here in San Francisco called The Corinthian. He is rumored to have murdered people decades or even centuries ago and then eaten their eyes. Those who saw him said he had teeth in place of his eyes and that's why he wears sunglasses." you rolled your eyes at what you heard.
Did he really eat their eyes? What kind of Hannibal Lecter bullshit is this?
"Who did you hear this from? Don't say you believe this!”
"From a friend of mine. I think there may be some truth in it." the man said, you rubbed your forehead.
"Look, you may believe in this, but there is no such thing. I think that guy must have paid a few people to spread the word about him. Anyway, whether it's true or not, I think an interesting story could be written out of it. Do you happen to know where this Corinthian lives?”
"Yes, I checked it out once, he has a classic style mansion, I don't know the exact address, but I'll draw it for you." David took a pencil and paper and drew you a map. "Of course, he may no longer live there, but if you decide to visit him, be very careful!"
In the afternoon, with the help of the drawn map, you went by car to see where The Corinthian might live. The mansion where he supposedly lived was just like the ones you've seen in the movies. It was surrounded by green hedges and a black iron gate. You were wondering what to do? Ring the bell? Rather not. You noticed that he had a mailbox, so you decided to write him a letter and give him your number. You wait a week, and if he still doesn't call, you go back to David and ask him for some horror comics. You took your notebook out of your bag, tore out a page and wrote to him who you were and why you wanted to meet him in person, and at the end you wrote your phone number. Fortunately, there was an envelope in the glove compartment of your car, in which you put the paper and then dropped it in his mailbox. You didn't see much chance that he would call you, but you tried anyway. Especially if it really was just an urban legend.
Two days later, your phone rang, it was an unknown number. Other times you cancel it, but you had a feeling... you picked it up and said your name.
” Hello! So, you wrote to me." said a deep male voice on the other end of the line.
"Y-yes. You know, the situation is that I heard about you and liked your story and thought, if you allow, I would do an interview with you."
"We can do that. If you want to, we can meet, say, tomorrow afternoon?”
"Okay." You agreed with him on the exact time and then hung up.
Hmm, that went fast. You were a little weirded out that he didn't introduce himself. Did he stick to the legend thing that much?
When David's words were running through your mind, you felt anxious. Be very careful. You put your taser in your bag in case something goes wrong.
The next day you arrived at Corinthian 's home on time. You got out of the car and approached the gate with shaky steps. You rang the bell and became even more nervous. I’m out of my mind! What if he really is a murderer, and I willingly walk into his trap! But then again, if he really was, he would be in prison a long time ago, you reassured yourself. Still, what's the worst that could happen? If you see that the situation is not good, you go to the bathroom and jump out of the window. At most you would break your leg and arm, but at least you would survive.
You saw a tall, blonde man in sunglasses from afar. You remembered what David had said about them…you took a deep breath, hoping it would clear your head. The man reached the gate and opened it.
"Hello! Are you Y/N?” he asked and shook your hand.
"Yes. You must be The Corinthian.”
"That’s right." he said and invited you inside, a driveway led you to the house itself. On the way, you looked at the many green plants and colorful flowers.
"I bet you have a gardener, because it would obviously be difficult to maintain such a beautiful garden alone." Your voice trembled a little, but you tried to hide your nervousness with the statement. He didn't say a word, just smiled kindly at you.
You entered the house. Towering staircase, tall ceilings, and a massive fireplace. From the inside, his home reminded you of Meryl Streep's house in ' Death Becomes Her'.
"Have a seat. Can I get you a drink?” he asked.
"A glass of water will do, thank you." Corinthian went to the kitchen, while you sat down on the sofa in the living room, put your bag next to you and took off your leather jacket. You looked around and realized how tastefully the home was decorated. He returned with a glass of water and handed it to you before sitting down on the couch across from you. You took a quick drink, as your mouth was always dry when you were nervous, and placed it on the coffee table.
"Do you mind if I take out my voice recorder?" you asked and Corinthian shook his head. You took out the recorder and pressed the record button.
"First of all, let's start with the name. What is your real name? Where did The Corinthian come from?”
"Believe it or not, I don't have a real name. I got the name ‘The Corinthian’ from my creator, The Sandman. Do you know who he is?” he leaned back on the couch as he asked you this.
"Well, I know the song Mr. Sandman. All kidding aside, I know that he's responsible for dreams.” you said crossing your legs.
"Basically yes, but he actually puts people to sleep by sprinkling sand onto their eyes."
"What do you have to do with Sandman?"
"As I said, he is my creator. You know, Sandman, or as we call him, Dream or Morpheus, is the ruler of the Dreaming. There he created dreams and nightmares. He created me, for example, as a nightmare.” What vivid imagination he has! you thought to yourself. Of course, you didn't believe a word he said, but you listened patiently, because your new script might depend on it.
"So you're saying you're not human?"
"Yes. I’m made of sand.” You almost laughed out loud at this point, but you tried to stay serious, though you had to admit that he told you about "his life" with such conviction that you almost believed it.
”Wait, what sand? You look like any other flesh-and-blood person!” you said in disbelief.
"This is only the surface. I am a physical manifestation appearing in the image of a man.”
After this you wanted to talk about something else, so you asked about his alleged murders.
"I heard that you used to kill people and eat their eyes. How old are you, then, and why did you do it?" you were drinking again. You never thought that one day you would want to talk with a strange man about his alleged murders. Corinthian ran a hand through his hair and took a deep breath.
"Let's just say that I've been around for quite some time. The reason why I did it it’s because I wanted to see the world through other people's eyes. They say that the eye is the window to the soul – that’s very true."
You talked a little more about him, and then about you, because he was interested in where you got the idea of writing screenplays. Although you couldn't see his eyes, you felt his penetrating gaze on you so intensely that you got goosebumps.
When you noticed that it was getting dark outside, you ended the interview and arranged to meet again so he could give you ideas.
You finally got home. You managed to remain calm throughout your conversation, although you still thought everything he said was a huge hoax. Poor man must have a boring life if he had time to invent all these crazy stuff.
It reminded you of the first time you saw him. Well-dressed, well-groomed, polite, handsome...these are not exactly the characteristics of a killer.
That word again. Killer. You still believed that he must have gotten his acquaintances to say that about him. He told a nice, fabricated story about himself, but at least you had an interesting afternoon.
The next morning, you couldn't wait to have coffee, because you had, well, quite an interesting dream last night. You were lying in your bed when Corinthian appeared in the dim moonlight. You, instead of being scared, invited him to your bed and started kissing, then made passionate love, although you found it strange that he left his sunglasses on the whole time. You realized that you must have dreamed about him because you hadn't been with anyone for a long time and you were subconsciously attracted to him. It's true that he's a good looking guy, but you're only meeting him to get ideas, you convinced yourself. What would you want from him anyway? You didn't even know his real name, moreover he made up this impossible, "I'm a murderer and a nightmare" story.
The day of another meeting has come. You rang the doorbell and when you saw Corinthian, you took a good look at him. You had to admit, there was something in his aura that grabbed you, and by that you didn't just mean his appearance.
“Hello Y/N! How are you?" he asked cheerfully as he let you in. He again looked impeccable.
I dreamed about you last night.
"I’m okay, thank you." you answered and followed him.
"How about we talk outside now? The weather is so nice, it would be a shame to sit inside at this time." he said and looked at the sky. You agreed with him and sat down at the garden table by the pool, where a couple of salty snacks and refreshments were already waiting for you. You chose a peach drink, which he poured for you in your already prepared glass. He also sat down and you took out your notebook to write down what he was telling you
"How's the script, have you started writing yet?" Corinthian inquired.
"Yes, I've already written a few pages." you said and ate some chips.
"That's great. I came up with some ideas, I hope you will like them." he said and you both smiled. When you saw his nice set of teeth, you again, unintentionally, remembered that there were those in place of his eyes...
He began to tell you his ideas, which you diligently jotted down like a student.
"Hm, these are good, I think I can get some exciting and creepy scenes out of them."
"Really? I thought you would say it’s too much.”
When you talked through a few scenes, Corinthian’s smile suddenly disappeared and he changed to a more serious tone.
"Can I ask you something?" the way he asked the question made you feel like the air was almost frozen.
"Of course."
"You know, you look like someone who wouldn't hurt a fly, but tell me...you never wanted to kill anyone?" he asked. You laughed to yourself for a moment and thought he was just being silly, though when he didn't laugh you realized he was serious.
"Only in my mind, when someone annoyed me, but in a normal situation, of course, I wouldn't even think of such a thing." you said. You felt the same uneasy feeling again as when you first met him. You started to get scared, but the thought of the taser in your bag calmed you down.
He is just provoking me, you thought to yourself.
"I guessed that. I see you're scared, but don’t worry. I would never hurt you.” he tried to reassure you, even though deep down you were still frightened, but then you thought that if he dared to ask you that, then you could ask him for something too.
" Corinthian, do you really have teeth eyes?" you asked softly as he nodded. "I want to see."
"I can't allow that. Believe me, it's better if you don't see them.”
"Well, I'm only asking because if you really are who you say you are, I'd like to see proof." you said and gently caressed the top of his hand. He looked away for a moment.
"I’m dead serious. I only take of my sunglasses rarely, in certain situations. But if you really want proof, I can show you something. Come, let's go to the kitchen.” he said and stood up, then you went to the kitchen together. You couldn't even imagine what he might want, but you were curious.
He took out a knife from the kitchen drawer and faced you.
"Jesus, what the hell do you want with that?" you cried out in fright.
"Relax! I don't want to hurt you! Remember when I said I was made of sand?” he asked. He was also nervous about what he was about to do. "I want to prove to you that I told the truth and I really don't bleed when I cut myself."
“O-okay.” you said with a trembling voice. Corinthian took a deep breath and stabbed through his palm as you screamed. He didn't even say a word, he just raised his palm with the knife in it and showed it to you.
And he was right. He really wasn't bleeding.
He pulled out the knife as if nothing had happened and his palm stayed intact. You were trying to breath, gasping for air, suddenly not knowing what to do. You held your head and felt nauseous. Not from what you have just seen, but from the thought that this meant that he really was who he said he was...

What would be their favorite series?
Tumblr media
(the gif is not mine)
Swiss: Gossip Girl
NO matter what anyone says, Swiss is sassy. He must be the one who turns on the TV with a bottle of wine and switches to Gossip Girl (Cirrus and Cumulus are also watching it with him) I can also see him wearing pink to watch the new Barbie movie. W rizz for Swiss.
Sodo: The Walking Dead
I have nothing to add, that's it and that's it
Aether: Friends
I think Aether likes comedy and this series matches his energy. I'm sure Chandler and Rachel are one of his favorite characters. Chandler gives me an Aether vibe.
Rain: Never Have I Ever
One word RomCom. Rain is the one who gets into bed after a hard day and takes out the tissue (😈) , bring the rest of the wine left by Swiss and watch a romantic movie (in this case, a series) THIS GHOUL NEEDS LOVE. END OF STORY.
Mountain: Peaky Blinders
Crime, drama, history, series? It's the best together. Now imagine him dressed in a suit like a big gang leader. Our dear calm Ghoul is the biggest criminal (only in his mind). If he was invited to appear in a series like Peaky Blinders, the poor thing would pass out. (if I were not writing about a series right now, The Godfather would be a dream choice for Mountain)
Phantom: Shameless
I don't know why, but when I think of Phantom, this series somehow jumps into my mind. Don't ask me, but I stand by this opinion.
Cirrus: Lucifer
I know you've been waiting for this word. I don't need to say much about this series, I think everyone knows it, Cirrus first started watching because she was curious how people could see Lucifer. And later she became addicted to this series. Are there new parts? No one could go near the TV until Cirrus had watched the last new episode.
Cumulus: American horror story
Hear. Me. Out. Cumulus LOVES horror and what could be better than a horror movie? A horror series. She watches American Horror Story alone. She likes to pay attention to details and there are many of them in this series, so she can watch it happily without any distractions. (btw, I think Phantom is afraid of horror movies, so Cumulus doesn't even watch similar movies around him)
Sunshine: Wednesday
I think Sunshine LOVES the supernatural sleazy series. I'm sure her other favorite is Teen Wolf. Well, back to Wednesday. As I wrote last time, Sunshine is an energy bomb who loves to move, go and explore. There is a werewolf girl named Enid in the series. I think Sunshine and Enid (as a character) could be the same person. They move all day, they smile all the time, they bring joy to people's lives.
Aurora: Euphoria
This woman is a mood, just like euphoria. (I haven't seen the entire series, so if what I'm writing is not correct, I'm sorry in advance) The protagonist of Euphoria wants to escape from the world. I think that's what Aurora did when she found this band. The fact that Aurora can finally feel at home means a life to her. I think this series shows her the path she took, and I'm also sure that she wouldn't be able to watch it even once without crying. (I don't know who believes that Ghouls and Ghoulettes are actually demonic beings. I like this ASSUMPTION. I don't know who's thinking and what and I can't prove anything against anything. But even if it's the case that they're not human, I don't think Aurora was summoned by them either. I think Aurora was once summoned by someone and she was stuck on the Earth looking for what she had to do here and not in hell. That's when she met Papa. BUT this is my opinion, this is not true, i mean is possible, but I am sure that it is not, but that is beside the point. Everyone can think what they want or not?.)
Copia: Sherlock
Copia always gives me such a vintage vibe, don't ask me I don't get it either. But the feeling is that when Copia can immerse himself in a series, then only Sherlock can be considered here. Papa Sherlock. Give this man a magnifying glass, a pipe and a hat and we have the happiest leader.

A quick list of animes I watched and don't want to forget 3:
Satsuriku no Tenshi - it was a short story with an easy to forget plot and characters I could root for. Tbh it hooked me with the never ending suspense and Zack. And I'll never forget the heartbreak at the end. So toxic and broken and tragic. The horror elements were fun, sometimes scary even so 7/10! Demon slayer - Its a bingeable shounen. The story is mid, the animation is cool, the MC is kind and likeable + i love how they show us the difference between "city japan" and "rural japan" (especially technology and behaviour-wise), but the constant screaming and second hand embarrassement is just too much. And besides getting stronger and using better techniques there are no character arcs (as of in S2). The boar + thunder kid just ruined the whole series for me t_t And the mountain peasant/animalistic superpower schtick is boring as hell after an episode or two. 6.5/10
Samurai Champloo - y2k graffiti/breakdance meets samurais. Boi, what an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G anime! The AV, OST, art style, all the fight scenes and character design... all of it is 10/10. Of course the found family trope can never be trumped, however the story itself was adventurous, not repetitive (except for them never having money lol), captivating, witty and emotional when it needed to be. Also the episodes tie into each other a lot, which makes the storytelling natural (+ its not just episodes put in order). The MC's are all 3D with weaknesses, believable behaviors and distinct manners + they have easy to remember names and styles. Watching the messy trio's friendship come to live is something I want to witness again for sure.
Konosuba! - A surprisingly bad and adorable parody of the isekai genre that I could only watch all the way through after the 3rd attempt. Most characters are completely helpless/stupid/naive but in an oddly charming way. The MC is ofc a pervert neet that is insufferable, but his oversexualized companions are cute, their friendship is cute, and their boobs are huge. Watch it while having dinner 6/10
Ouran highschool host club - light hearted and stupid and has some second hand embarrassement, but its a must watch! I wish the artstyle was different tho :/ 8.5/10
The Apothecary Diaries - Sherlock Holmes meets chinese historical romance fanfic. Beautiful, captivating and rewatchable. Very dreamy (but i have a feeling that theres going to be a lot of drama and sadness in the future? idk i havent started the light novel yet) 9/10
Midnight Occult Civil Servants - its so much more worth it than ppl think! Yes, the power of friendship is strong in this one, buuuut 1) its not overdone 2) the story is not sugarcoated and there are some interesting philosophical topics that we touch throughout the episodes 3) even though the MC is a naive and ridiculously hard working boy, he learns a lot from his mistakes and kinda grows up. His friends are lovely too! I just wish that their design was a bit more detailed, the animation got a bit more budget and that we could have gotten a bit more chapters... 8/10!
Mignon - a korean BL manwha adaptation. Each episode is around 5 mins so the story isnt too complicated. It has vampires (why dont we get more of them nowadays??) and sexy man-love. 6.5/10
Golden Boy - It is a golden comedy (and educational) anime and it's so humorous that I actually laughed watching it. At first it seems annoying/ridiculous but from the end of the first episode I understood the premise and the point of the anime. The boy doesnt learn much, but the women around him do. 7.5/10
Kamisama Kiss - I loved it at the beginning and then felt really let down by it, cuz 1) I learned about the end of the story and got pissed off (because ***SPOILER ALERT who the fuck thought that giving up your occult superpowers and long life is romantic? WHO?***) and 2) it got so rushed at the end. The art style is not my favorite ad some of the frames looked cheap, but I loved the comical use of expressions and some of the designs were really cool. 6/10 (and -100/10 because of the ending of the manga. Seriously. Fuck that.)

I got tagged in an ask game by @sinfulauthor! It’s been ages since I did one of these, why the hell not!
1. Were you named after anyone?
Yes! Anna comes from my grandmother Annabelle, who died before I was born. It’s Jewish tradition to name kids after deceased loved ones, so both I and my sister got a little something for our names from one of our grandmothers :)
2. When was the last time you cried?
A couple weeks ago, out of frustration from my chronic insomnia I believe. Falling asleep at 6am when you don’t want to isn’t fun lol
3. Do you have kids?
Not yet, I’m most definitely not in a financial or physical health place to be a parent yet. Ask me again in 5-10 years though, I do want kids one day.
4. What sports do you play/have you played?
I used to figure skate! I never competed or anything, but I could do some simple spins and jumps
5. Do you use sarcasm?
Sometimes! Not a ton though
6. What’s the first thing you notice about people?
Their voices. I’m a very audio-focused person, so a person’s voice is always what stands out to me most.
7. What’s your eye color?
The government says it’s hazel, but it’s that flavor of hazel that’s like 4 different colors layered together. I’ve had people tell me my eyes look like olives.
8. Scary movies or happy endings?
I don’t dislike horror, but I definitely lean towards comedy as a genre, so I guess happy endings? What I really like is a satisfying, full circle ending. That can be happy, bittersweet, tragic, as long as it’s satisfying.
9. Any talents?
I could say music, but that feels wrong when I’m in the music industry. Is it a talent if it’s your career?
If we’re talking weird and silly talents, I know a psychological method to win any game of Rock Paper Scissors, as long as I’ve played a game against you before :)
10. Where were you born?
Upstate NY (though I’m not saying where, I see you fishing for common security questions! Do you want me to tell you the name of my first pet and where I went to elementary school too?)
11. What are your hobbies?
Primarily voice acting, though I don’t know if it counts as a hobby anymore since I’ve been paid to do it quite a few times…
I also like to sew! I’ve been working on a hand quilt that I chip away at when I play ttrpgs :)
12. Do you have any pets?
No :( one day I’ll get a kitten, but for now I’ll live vicariously through my girlfriend’s cats and my roommate’s cats
13. How tall are you?
5’5.” The exact average height for women lol
14. Favorite subject in school?
God, it’s been ages since I was in public school. Probably band, I was a band kid through and through
15. Dream job?
I want to contribute music to something that ends up having a powerful and creative fanbase. That could mean I write a musical that forms a fandom, it could be I contribute songs to a tv show or write a soundtrack for a game with a powerful fandom, I just want my music to be something that encourages others to create themselves.
I’m not gonna tag anyone, I don’t wanna put anyone on the spot who doesn’t want to be, but if any of you want to do the ask game, consider yourself tagged :)
