So look, what the scale says doesn't mean everything and what's most important is being happy with yourself. However, I haven't been under 230 for about a decade. I was 250 just six weeks ago. My body fat is down 5%, my composition & posture is better, I see my abs, I'm in my 40s, and I feel incredible. I've also done it while working out less than 15 minutes a day, after years of 45 minutes+ workouts of varying results. No wild/illegal supplements. How many times have you replied with “Nah I’m good, but thanks!” when someone’s offered to lend a hand? When you reeeaaally could’ve used that hand? I’ve never been one who needed permission, or for someone to “show up with me.” If I wanted to do something or needed something done, I just… did it. One HUGE thing successful people and big companies (like Google, Apple, etc) have in common??? They don’t shy away from facing what’s not working. If you’re a perfectionist like I am, your instinct is to avoid tough tasks or conversations(I actually hate 😬 confrontation) that you’re not sure will go well… but it’s killing your chances of reaching your goals(but, I’ll have them when it’s called for…trust me). In anything. It’s so much easier and more comfortable to avoid the areas we’re falling short (or just not seeing the results we want), but if instead we lean into them and do something DIFFERENT… we’ll be unstoppable.
