I love and support all the fic and art featuring little spoon!Ed. I would never argue for less of it. But.

Why so few big spoon!Eds? It could be such an exciting and new experience to him, because who would ever look for gentleness from Thee Blackbeard? It would be meaningful, getting to do the comforting as well as receiving it, getting to try out being a source of warmth and softness for the first time. And discovering that Stede won't laugh at him if Ed's kinda awkward as he figures out how to approach it or how to arrange his limbs, but also just bubbling over with happiness when Stede lays his head on Ed's shoulder or sleepily snuggles up against him because!!! Someone trusts him! Trusts Ed! He's not crying, fuck off!

Just another ramble... but lowkey want to write a DinLuke AU of Howl's Moving Castle. Where Howl is Like and Din is Sophie. I don't even know if there's already a fic fpr them with that AU, but I want to write heavy angst, and Din struggling to be a single father while trying to not succumb to his spiraling thoughts of being left out by his siblings...

Just imagine Din as a mechanic, that cottagecore life, the eldest in his family that has to stay behind to work for their family's business because of one, his adopted son, and two, to continue his mother's legacy (which is just that, a small business of tinkering machines)...

Then there's the "Skywalker," a moving castle that looks like walking in the sky. Luke Skywalker, known as the last Jedi, is rumored to take away little children and break families apart by ripping out the hearts of fathers and men to make the wives pliant and pleading to his desires... Whispers have warned the people to watch out for a charming blonde man with blue eyes caughy from the sky itself...

BUT, BUT, BUT... Luke is just trying to find force-sensitive children to teach, he's not trying to kidnap children but there's a lot of misunderstanding and of course, there's still a war going on.

pla was like hey what if you got sent back in time to a world where a bunch of people hate you for existing and think you must be evil and force you to perform herculean tasks daily just to be tolerated except there’s this one guy who seems to genuinely like you and he thinks it’s really cool that you’re an outsider from another world and he’s there for you in your worst moment when no one else is brave enough to help and then later after it’s all been resolved you find out that this entire mess was his fault in the first place he’s the reason that you’re here he’s the reason that the world was ending and you got blamed for all of that and he turns on you suddenly and reveals he was just using you to achieve his own selfish goal and after you put a stop to him he curses you for being an outsider sent here just to stop him and now suddenly he genuinely hates you more than anyone else because it has dawned on him that you are the epitome of all that he wishes he could be

I don’t think I ever truly understood the concept of having certain movies, shows, songs, places etc. ruined for you because of how much the thought or memory of a person is attached to it until this last season of having so many memories of you woven into everything

I want my kids to have the kind of resources lara croft had, except I want to be there to help her be great lol our family is very knowledge focused with my husband being a Gemini and my chart being ruled by mercury. My husband having a JD and my having a Masters and hopefully a doctorate in the future, we want to give her all the opportunity to do anything she interested in.

Going to start getting more books on mythology and things. Maybe more science books, I've lost many of the ones I had over the years.

thoughts for today

when the counting crows said "when everybody likes me, then i'll never be lonely" and when taylor swift said "no one wanted to play with me as a little kid, so i've been scheming like a criminal ever since, to make them love me and make it seem effortless" and when she also said "when no one is around, my dear. you'll find me on my tallest tiptoes, spinning in my highest heels, love, shining just for you" and when lorde said "i'll give you my best side, tell you all my best lies" and when peter gabriel said "and in this moment, i need to be needed. with this darkness all around me, i like to be liked. in this emptiness and fear, i want to be wanted. cause I love to be loved." I felt it in my deepest soul.

i need to be liked so badly, i want to be loved so wholely, that i cannot live my life without ten thousand voices confirming my value. i am worthless until someone tells me otherwise, i am nothing until i recieve acknowledgment. i bend over backwords for a smile and when it isn't given i hate myself. i contemplate ending things when i'm not invited, and i despise myself for not being enough. not enough for my friends, my peers, my professors, my family, but most of all, for me.

there's a cherry blossom tree in DC that keeps blooming every year even though it shouldn't and the park service keeps thinking it's dead and then it keeps blooming! well they're removing a lot of trees to rehabilitate the area and they've said it's finally time for stumpy to go and they're going to mulch it and use the mulch to enrich all the other trees so it can help everything else keep going. and they're also going to plant spliced little pieces of it all over so that stumpy can live forever and this is genuinely sending me into a spiral
