Update on my Rashid/Armand theory

Okay, so last week I posted this theory about Rashid: Rashid is Armand and the devil’s minion did happen. After seeing episode 5 I need to update it... This not spoiler free!

Rashid is a vampire and can be very well Armand and his motives for acting like a human are more clear now. No normal human would wear those gloves non-stop. This screams only one thing: VAMPIRE!

Rashid doesn’t agree with the interview. He doesn’t like it at all. Because it will bring Louis in danger, it violates the vampire code of not enclosing your true identity to a mortal x1000 because it will be a published book. He doesn’t want to be part of it and he doesn’t want Daniel to be researching/interviewing him as well. So he is pretending to be a human.

The penthouse is Armand’s/Rashid’s and he is living there with Louis. And Louis arranged this whole interview. Rashid/Armand is not happy with it, but cannot stop Louis. So he was sulking in the background for a few episodes and now he is taking lead/speaking out. 

Rashid is not a servant and can very well be Armand: 1) The blood sucking was not Rashid subjecting himself to Louis, but seemed more like an intimate and enjoyable experience for both. And yes, vampires suck each other’s blood all the time, it is erotic to them and can also restore powers for younger or wounded vampires. (Armand: 10/10, he had a relationship with Louis in the books and they lived together in a penthouse.)

2) He cares for Louis... like a partner/companion would? He spoke out what he thinks about the interview when Louis was drinking from him. He is protecting Louis. Louis called it only an “unsolicited opinion”. Like bickering husbands. (Armand: 10/10, he cares about Louis but would not force him to do things against his will so he plays along with the interview while still trying to control the situation.)

3) When Louis was angry with Daniel and did the abusive thing with his hand, Rashid came in, put his hand on Louis’s shoulder and a second later all was over. This screams vampire powers?? (Also Rashid was listening behind the door or with his vampire senses/mind gift???) And again, putting your hand on someone’s shoulder screams partnership to me. Rashid took the lead and Louis accepted it without hesitation. (Armand: 10/10, he is a powerful vampire and an equal partner.)

4) Rashid is certainly gay/bi/queer and Daniel has apparently already the hots for him??? And Rashid is angry with Daniel and screams that he will not let him near his neck (foreshadowing??). (Armand: 10/10, no explanation needed.)

I have no idea where this is going and I might still be completely wrong but I love it!!!

ok so i'm the anon who sent the whole singing/dancing scenario 🙇, i've come back with more that couldn't leave my head.

imagine a scenario where:

because the two of you are not.

it's often when you come back too, that one of you gets injured and prefer to help each other on wounds that are superficial— ones that don't need immediate care (the two of you are stubborn.)

it's skinship, intimacy and almost illicit— the lingering touches and longing gazes stay there, but none of you just bother to make a move on it. the tension the two of you have literally sits in the air, building and building.

is it because the two of you are cowards? highly likely.

but well, after one too many drinks at the bar— and the two of you are left alone (he offered to take you home, everyone else has gone), you drunkely blurt out why he won't just, you know, take you home and fuck you sideways to monday (and also the fact that you really, really do want to stay by his side for as long as you can, even through the ups and downs, and everything in between, but you're too afraid to call it love, yet, because it's dangerous, for now.)

you're drunk, let's tall about this when you're sober. was his only reply that you remember, but still gets you home safely, his sanity hanging by a mere thread.
