Hey Summer! How's everything back in the Bay?? Gotta say i don't miss it. DSV is AMAZING! Whitney's house is ludicrously huge. We're staying in the guest house while we're here. Most days we're just hangin out in their pool. Charlotte (who says hi btw) has been SO excited to have me here, she kinda feels like my little sister. She can swim laps around me. I remain jealous of people who have pools. (🥺 1 ) (👋 1 )

!!!! Today Opal Royal (yeah that one!) stopped by! Opal is about my age and we actually get along well! She has a bunch of friends that I've been hanging out with a little. ( 😲 1 ) .... ok and one i've been hanging out with a lot. (I'll tell you all about him when I get home) ( 👀 1 ) ( ⁉️ 1 )

Whitney said i can stay as long as I want, so I might stay an extra week after The Dads(tm) and Aiden go home… OH and this is top secret, but two days into being here Whitney found out she's pregnant again! She wants me to offer some name ideas. Apparently it's twins!?!?!?!?!?! ( 😲 1 ) It does mean she won't be get to visit me as much my first year in college : (. Just means I'll get to come to the valley more! Next time you HAVE to come with! I miss you, tell me all about what's going on with you! I have a pool to dissolve into. Later!

going to chb must be crazy like imagine sharing a camp with

-one of the strongest demigods ever who's saved the world like at least 3 times, fought multiple gods & titans and WON (and is a tartarus survivor)

-the literal main architect of OLYMPUS who's also saved the world multiple times (also tartarus survivor)

-THE lord of the wild who's also close friends with the first two (and has helped save the world multiple times)

-an emo kid from the 1930s who again helped save the world and is also a tartarus survivor (TWICE)

-a son of apollo who survived tartarus with nothing but cargo shorts and sheer will (pun intended)

-the main designer and builder for the argo II, also the first hephaestus kid to have fire powers since hundreds of years ago (did i mention killed gaea? no? yeah he did that too)

it's truly the tried and tested Doctor Who formula for a showrunner to say "yep we're doing a soft reboot of the show! this is a great opportunity for new viewers to jump on board!" and then immediately pivoting to lore heavy additions and continuing 60 year old character arcs and pulling random plots from obscure 90s novels.
