Some tips to protect more your creations on tumblr
Tumblr media
Go to your blog settings and scroll down. Activate these options in your account.
✓ Hide [your blog name] from people without an account
✦ Your blog and posts will not be recommended to others, will be excluded from Tumblr search results, and the in-blog search function will be disabled for everyone, including you.
✦ People without an account won't be able to see your creations.
✦ The gifs will also be in WebP format, which makes it harder to save and republish.
✓ Discourage external searching of [your blog name]
✦ External search engines like Google or Yahoo will be discouraged from indexing your blog and showing it in search results. It is ultimately up to them to honor your request.
✦ This second option ensures that your gifs are not shared (smaller) on image search engines when someone searches for gifs from a particular fandom.
Tumblr media
★ You can add this to your theme if you use one. Here the code. You need to add it under <head> in your theme.
✦ This will prevent from using the right-click option to save your blog content.
★ Put a watermark on your gifs as it helps to know who they belong to.
✦ Even if maybe, that doesn't necessarily mean it won't be stolen, but it adds a deterrent all the same. Pinterest is one of the worst site, because so many gifs are republished here. And it's hard to track down the source afterwards.
Feel free to communicate when you see a blog reposting gifs, it will be shared on this account, add #repostersource or come directly submit a message. With the source of the real creator would be a bonus.

Make that content girl.
This is your sign, it’s time to start your own channel, business, brand your gifts. Whatever little voice that’s been telling you to “try it” we are hear to shine a light on that part of you.
Here’s why:
• Life is too short, you don’t have to live a life of what ifs. Trying is better than failing on any level. You won’t know until you try.
• It’s a new year baby, you’ve made it this far… what if this is the year that elevates you in the way you’ve always dreamed of?
“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
— Albert Einstein
• B.F.S encourages all of our besties to enhance your skills this year, what if you can turn that hobby into multiple streams of income? ✨💰
• The social media aesthetic is changing, people are craving authenticity and normalcy. People want to connect and relate to what they are consuming, what if you’re holding on to the content / products needed to help someone else?
• No one is YOU and that’s your power 💎

Permapaywallers (and by extension, people who put their content behind paywalls for more than a couple weeks) suck. The people who subscribe to their content are even worse. They're the ones enabling these bratty creators to make art, information, and community into exclusive commoditie$.
This isn’t about supporting creators—it’s about validating an exploitative model that thrives on exclusion, where access is a privilege instead of a shared right.

Pie day also marks 10 days to my birthday!
So uh if anyone wants to get me anything, I'm attaching my wishlist! You don't have to buy just what's on the list either! You can buy me anything you want! 🥰
I'd love some new accessories for content creation 😏

thank you, content creator ADHD awareness
(tw: mental health)
I recently watched the “accidental technical difficulties podcast” Jan (PChal) and Tanner (Smallant) made, and it made me feel so validated and hopeful.
For context: I got diagnosed with ADHD earlier this month, but have probably had it since childhood. I've been struggling with it hard, and have had severe self-worth issues due to my seeming inability to get anything done productively and control my impulsive tendencies. I suspected that I had it for a while now, but between self-doubt and a waiting list that was over a year long, getting the diagnosis took some time.
In the video, Jan and Tanner talked about their ADHD, how they deal with it, and that they know a lot of other content creators that have it (with Jan going so far as to say he thinks content creation might self-select to favor people with ADHD). I heard that, and felt so much better about the situation I'm in. These are creators I look up to, who's work I respect, who do things I wish I could be able to do. That made me, for the first time really, be hopeful about my future.
I've since found out about many other content creators I know have ADHD, like Jacob Alpharad, Linus with the Tech Tips, RubberRoss, Giwi etc. (I guess Jan might be onto something). It's been a great awakening, and I guess I'm writing this to say thanks:
Thank you, all you content creators, that are open about your ADHD.
It really means the world to me to have you to look up to as role models, as a proof for me that there are ways to deal with this, do the things you love, and live a happy and successful life.

Attempt #5 at Affiliate Marketing & Attempt #7 at Blogging
Today, I’m taking a deep breath and diving into my fifth attempt at affiliate marketing and my seventh attempt at writing a blog. If I’m being honest, it feels like I’m swimming against the tide—no audience, no consistent engagement, and no clear roadmap. But here’s the thing: I’m not giving up. This time, I’m committing to consistency, even if I don’t see immediate results.
So far, every attempt has felt like a crash course in what not to do. I’ve tried different niches, experimented with platforms, and even splurged on tools and subscriptions that promised to make things easier—spoiler alert: they didn’t. It’s frustrating, and sometimes I feel like throwing in the towel, but there’s this tiny voice in my head that keeps saying, “What if this time it works?”
My goals are simple yet daunting: to build a following, create content that resonates, and eventually earn some passive income. The challenge is figuring out what to write about and how to stand out in an oversaturated digital world. Do people want how-to guides? Personal stories? Product reviews? Or should I switch to another platform entirely?
I know there are plenty of people who’ve been in my shoes and turned it around, so if anyone reading this has advice, I’m all ears.
Here’s what I’m planning to do differently this time:
Consistency: I’ll set a schedule and stick to it. Even if it’s just one post a week, I’ll show up.
Engagement: I want to interact with readers (when I get some!) and focus on creating a community, not just content.
Learning: I’ll dive into free resources and maybe take a couple of courses to sharpen my skills.
I’d love to hear from you. What kind of content do you enjoy reading? Are there specific topics you’d like me to explore? Do you think affiliate marketing and blogging are still worth pursuing in 2025, or should I pivot to something else, like TikTok or YouTube?
This journey feels lonely right now, but I’m hoping that by putting myself out there, I’ll eventually find my people. For now, I’m going to keep showing up, writing, and trying to figure it all out. Thanks for sticking with me—here’s to attempt #5 and #7!

When you realize behavior mostly guided by values/beliefs and practice it's much easier not to worry about how your personality comes off. Just pay attention to doing what you think is best, (including if that's to have fun and goof off) the rest will happen naturally. The more you do it the easier it gets until eventually it's second nature^^
Edit: if this doesn't make a ton of sense pls lmk I'm very tired and happy to clarify after sleep xD
