I could have strong opinions but that's usually not enough to attract witchcraft charges on its own unless the community is REALLY in a mess. I imagine Stone does something smart and Robotnik’s like “Huh. Maybe he isn’t as stupid as the rest is of those buffoons.” Then he pulls up Stone’s file, and is shocked and maybe a little begrudgingly impressed.

He spends the next few weeks laying out “tests” for Stone, which are either the most basic things or extremely convoluted like a mathematical equation for the Wifi password.

Meanwhile, Stone is just very confused by all these random tasks, but he’s having fun.

Warm Take: The proliferation of AI-based plagiarism in higher education is based partly in the years-in-the-making general social/economic narrative that a college degree is an essential line on your résumé, required for getting any halfway decent job. The more a degree became a universally requisite prize, the more it became just a prize—and not even as impressive a prize, because everyone has one, don’t they? So it’s little more than a participation ribbon, received by going through the motions. That school, any level of school, is meant to be for the purpose of learning; that more advanced schooling is meant to result in, & should be taken by people who want, advanced learning, of new facts and moreover of how to think about new facts—this is being culturally forgotten. All that matters is the end-goal of the line on the résumé—so why not just let the computer generate something?

I think a really fun idea to explore with Tim would be the idea of him having Hyperthymesia.

Hyperthymesia is an ability that allows people to recall almost every event of their life in great detail. It's extremely rare and honestly doesn't have that much research done on it, but recent studies have suggested that people with this ability are limited to autobiographical memories, people with HSAM sometime tend to show symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and may demonstrate obsessive tendencies.

I think it would be an interesting way to explain why Tim was able to recall his first meeting with Dick Grayson and connect the dots to seeing Robin. Tim does display a lot of obsessive behaviours, and while he doesn't really physically display compulsion (like someone with OCD would typically display) there certainly is a strong case to be made for him potentially having it.

But also, can you imagine how fucking horrible it would be for Tim to remember each and every traumatic thing that ever happens to him as a hero and those memories just never fading. Yes, it would make him a better detective and allow him to be arguably smarter than your average joe, but at what cost?
