I really loved the fic that you wrote about Lilia overblot and Silver’s sleeping curse, so I was wondering if by chance you could write Lilia being super overprotective of Silver(who is still sleeping) after his overblot? The others could be trying to bring Lilia back to his senses but it’s up to you! Have a nice day <3

His head snaps up as soon as the door creaks open.

“Quell your nerves, Lilia,” a familiar voice calls out. Malleus emerges into view, stepping into the room. “It is just me.”

Though Lilia allows the tension to dissipate off of him, his nerves don’t quite settle down. They never really have — not since Silver fell to his sleep curse, not since Lilia’s untimely overblot. But despite the weakness that now permanently festers in his bones, fatigue dragging him down and rendering his muscles sore and weary, Lilia shuffles a little closer to Silver, who slumbers fitfully next to him.

He rests one hand against his sleeping son’s shoulder, eyes still trained upon their visitor.

Malleus looks upon all of this. Lilia can see the way he seems to bite back a sigh.

“Even if it is just you,” Lilia eventually begins, voice cracking, “I can’t just…”

He trails off, before he shakes his head. Even though Silver has awoken — properly this time, most of the curse expelled through the overflow of blot-tainted magic that had nearly killed its caster — Lilia still cannot help the way he tenses whenever someone stops by the dorm to visit him. He likens it to the instincts of a feral animal whenever he tries to describe it to Silver, a gnashing, slobbering beast that wishes to lunge in front of him, howling as it bares its sharp canines, fending off any and all who try to approach.

There is no danger now. Silver is no longer cursed. Lilia is no longer overblotting.

And yet, he still clings close to Silver, fingers curling into the fabric of his shirt.

“I wish to talk with Silver,” Malleus says.

He takes a step towards the bed.

Lilia flinches.

He wants to lash out, scrabble at Malleus with his nails until the fae leaves the room. Silver is— is his to protect, that blot-dripping monster that had formed from the core of his wretchedly protective desires never leaving, not even after Silver recovered. It still festers underneath his skin, lurking in wait as though a predator stalking its prey, spurring him to chase off visitors with as many excuses as he can conjure, only succeeding whenever Silver takes a nap as he recovers from curse-sickness.

(If that beast had not sapped him of his magic, leaving the barest dredges of it left, would Lilia feel as uneasy letting anyone else around Silver? Or is his admittedly unreasonable protectiveness a consequence of the strength he lost? Lilia is aware of it, and yet—

He continues to ignore the fact that he can no longer protect Silver the way he longs to.)

“I think… it would be best if you came back later.”

Malleus stops.

“Let him rest,” Lilia says softly, gazing at Silver’s slumbering face, features smoothed by a peaceful dream. “You can talk to him when he’s awake.”

Silence.

“Then let me talk to you instead.”

Lilia closes his eyes. “I’d rather not.”

“Lilia—”

“We can talk another time, Malleus.” Turning away fully from the indignant fae, ignoring the frustration painted across his face, Lilia stares down at Silver instead. “Let’s allow Silver to rest for now.”

(He isn’t sure how much longer he can keep dancing around everything — the loss of his magic, the way he’d knocked out Malleus, and above all else, the fact that he keeps clinging to Silver, even after everything has been said and done.)

Nemesis writing session update :)

Oh yes!! Finally!! A decent writing session tonight!!

It's 5 a.m, I don't even think it's considered night anymore

But I wanted to ask you guys something: Chapter 6 on Nemesis, reader is meeting Dante and heading to their first job together! It has around 2.9k words and it has a nice chapter ending line so...

I'm thinking I'm going to make this chapter a little shorter so Chapter 7, with the hunt alongside Dante per se, can be a little longer and not so rushed story-wise!

What do you guys think? Would you be fine with a shorter chapter after all this time...? "^^

Also, I've been using this video to write and it might be good for relaxing, focusing, working, studying or just sleeping ^^

TWIN RUNES - FAQ

What exactly is this AU about? Twin Runes is essentially a comedic crossover AU between the universes of Deltarune and Undertale. No fancy nicnacs. Just the characters being their chaotic selves. But there might be some darkness lurking up ahead... ____________________

When is the next comic? The comic updates most Sundays at 6:30 PM Central European Time. ____________________

Why is this AU called Twin Runes? The name is more or less a play on the typical naming format of most AU's by featuring the "Runes" part. There are no literal Twin Runes. The whole name is more of a stand in for Undertale and Deltarune as parallel worlds. Hence the "Twin" part. ____________________

When does Twin Runes take place? This AU takes place between a hypothetical Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 of Deltarune. On the Undertale side of things, it takes place post neutral route just as Frisk was about to deliver Undyne's letter to Alphys.

How many pages are there going to be? The script for this comic estimates that the comic is going to be 137 pages long (if I don't make any major changes). ____________________

Is the Player a thing in this AU? The Player(s) lost control over both human children as soon as Frisk entered the world of Deltarune. Essentially, the reader takes the role of the Player. You have no influence on the outcome of the story anymore. All you can do is watch. ____________________

Is there going to be a Weird Route? Due to the lack of Player, all choices made by Kris are now their own. How to engage in battle all depends on Kris, and not the Player. Because of that, there are NO DIFFERENT ROUTES. There is only one route and that one is based on Kris' choices. Because of the lack of save points, there is no "what-if" scenario. ____________________

When Chapter 3 and 4 are released, will it affect the story? Any chapters after Chapter 3 won't affect the story in the grand scheme of things. Twin Runes created a new timeline so to speak. ____________________

How old are the characters in this story? Frisk appears to be around 9 years old. Kris thinks they're 14. (Both Frisk and Kris don't know their actual age.) Chara died when they were around 10-11. Susie is around 15-16 (she was held back once) Ralsei appears to be the same age as Kris. ____________________

What's up with Kris' and Frisk's hair? The red bits of their hair is more or less a representation of their souls. That in turn is also why Chara doesn't have that feature. They are soulless. It's a stylistic choice. ____________________

What's that thing on Kris' chest? It's a scar they got from tearing out their soul.

And why do they have weird lines all over their body? Both Kris and Frisk's anatomy resemble that of ball-jointed dolls. They appear just as markings across their bodies. Think of them as elaborate birthmarks. Kris and Frisk are still made of flesh and blood, but are in fact hypermobile. The reason as to why they do is still a little secret :) People here like to refer to these markings as "puppet limbs". You can get a better look at them and the scar in this artwork

Why does Kris have braces? This is why:

Why is Dark World Frisk green? Frisk changes their main sweater colors with Kris when they enter the Dark World.

Can other ghosts see Chara? (pre Darkner transformation) No, only Frisk and Kris are able to see Chara. ____________________

IS KRIS NOW FRISK'S COUNTERPART OR CHARA'S???? :) ____________________

So, was Chara in the locket all along? No, Chara possessed the locket to become a Darkner. ____________________

Where are Jevil and Spamton? Are they in Castle Town? The Fun Gang have already fought these two in the previous chapters and added them into their inventory. Outside of that little dream sequence, neither will be making an appearance. ____________________

Is anyone from Undertale Yellow gonna make an apperance? Outside of a tiny cameo from Clover (that has no greater bearing on the story) no one from Undertale Yellow is going to make an appearance. ____________________

Is (insert character here) gonna go to the Dark World/underground? With the way the story is going to play out, only the main group will be heading to this new Dark World. The rest of the story will be taking place there. ____________________

How did you come up with the idea of Twin Runes? Twin Runes is an offshoot of a separate script I wrote. It's a similar concept but turned on its head. The funny moments in that script made me just continue what now is the start of Twin Runes. I pretty much just wanted to see if I am actually capable of drawing a comic to begin with. So... in a way Twin Runes is my first attempt at a comic ever. If I ever finish Twin Runes, then I know I can tackle turning that mammoth project of a script into a comic too. In the grand scheme of things these two projects are sister series. They have A LOT in common and even share similar plot elements. When Twin Runes is over you will automatically also know certain mysteries of The Other Script. ____________________

What is The Other Script? As of this moment I call The Other Script: "Lost in the In-Between". At its core it's an inverse of Twin Runes. I.e. Kris falling into the underground and being aided by Frisk on their quest to return home. The story and jokes are a considerably more grounded than in Twin Runes and so are the characters. Though they do have their moments from time to time. The overall mood of that script is a lot darker in nature and it's a 200+ page passion project of mine. ____________________

Am I allowed to make fanart? ABSOLUTELY! You are very welcome to make fanart if you feel like it. Please let me know if you do by tagging me, so I can share it with everyone to see so that you get the appreciation you deserve :) ____________________ Can I use the funny faces you draw for memes or for stuff like memes or for profile pictures? Is there x ship in this comic? The focus of the story is not on shipping. If it's in the game it will very likely be mentioned or brought up, but that's about it. ____________________

What pronouns do you go with for the human children? I try to stick as close as possible to the games so I use THEY/THEM FOR ALL OF THEM WITHOUT ANY EXCEPTIONS.

YAE MIKO: Welcome cuties to "Idols Inferno," or I², where idols ignite sparks in a tropical paradise! Here’s a comprehensive guide on how our upcoming and hot dating show will unfold!

1. Island Oasis: Our contestants, members from two different idol groups, DELUSION AND WINDBLUME, will embark on a journey to a stunning island getaway. They'll leave behind the glamor of the stage to immerse themselves in the raw beauty of nature.

2. Living Arrangements: While they compete for hearts, our idols reside in a cozy dormitory area. Each contestant will be able to enjoy their own private rooms, but will be sharing a dorm building with all the other contestants. Don’t get too excited, these dorms are designed to be as uncomfortable as morally possible in order to motivate our idols to work harder for the rewards!

3. Survival and Romance: Here’s the twist! Our idols aren’t just here for love—they’re also here to survive. From beachside cookouts to forging alliances, they'll fend for themselves while navigating the highs and lows of island life. The kitchen will be replenished with ingredients every two days, but contestants will be expected to put together meals on their own everyday. A water well will be located a mile away from the kitchens, contestants will have to trek to fill up their containers everyday. 

4. Games and Challenges: Throughout the journey, our contestants engage in thrilling challenges designed to test their teamwork and chemistry. Picture competitive strength challenges like partner piggyback rides or hilarious two-legged races on the beach! Make sure to tune in because the weather is hot, which means less fabric to wear! ;)  

5. Confession Box and Matchmaking: After every activity, participants visit the confession box to anonymously choose another contestant they are interested in. Matched pairs have the chance to enjoy better food, upgraded accommodations, and even a night in a nearby five-star hotel instead of the usual shitty dorms!

6. Contestant Dynamics: With a total of 13 contestants, including 3 mystery guests to be revealed at a later date, tensions and emotions run high as new arrivals shake up existing connections.

7. Interviews and Real-Time Updates: The end of every episode features intimate interviews with one of the contestants, offering viewers insights into their thoughts and emotions. Amidst palm trees and pristine beaches, bonds deepen and sparks fly as our idols explore their connections. Will they find lasting love or simply a lifelong friendship?

synopsis after the disaster that was the live award show, where you and scaramouche got into an argument on stage after both of your groups got a tie for top artists, your guys' PR teams have been in shambles trying to scrape up your mess. that's when the idea to send you both off with some other idols to a remote location for a survival dating show to mend your public image comes up. before you know it your bags are packed and you’re on a plane to a remote island. the only obligation is you need to end up with scaramouche at the end of the show, whether you end up liking him or not doesn’t matter to your managers as long as the show’s ratings stay high. whatever you do in between to get there is up to you!
