General Sevika Headcannons

Sevika x Female Reader (Fluff)

Big on whistling. Does it when she needs your attention, when she’s checking you out, even when she’s teasing. She likes seeing the look on your face. Especially eye rolls, do one with a face and she’s giddy.

Insanely good at Sudoku. She picked it up a while back when Silco taught her the magic behind the numbers. Now, she’ll challenge the old man and watch as he pinches the bridge of his nose while she’s smiling smugly.

Loves when call her, or anything that belongs to her, cool. She likes being cool. That’s probably why she lets her cape fly off during fights.

Hates her glasses, mainly because they lack functionality, but enjoys seeing you thirst over them. She’d going blind and you’re over here drooing over her, she loves that. And, just for fun, she’ll wear a turtleneck; which, gets you hornier than ever.

Expression

Is she good at being romantic? No. She’s never had someone to be.. soft with. In a way, you’re the first person she’s ever opened up to. Be it letting you know her interests, her dislikes, her favourites, or just small, “not so very tough” things about her. However, she’s only just getting used to those things.

Flowers is all Sevika really knows. On her way back from her backbreaking job, she’ll grab you a few flowers from the market or straight up pluck one she randomly saw and surprise you.

Not so good with words. That woman doesn’t have a clue on how to comfort you. Why? Because she’s never been in a situation where she’s had someone talk her through her problems. Where she’s been able to let slip an ounce of vulnerability. Tragic, but she’s learning.

Things she does that she doesn’t realize

Stares so much that, before the two of met, it scared you. You thought you were her next target and lived in fear for the next week or so until the woman, finally, decided to talk to you. And, after a few months of dating you finally brought it up. She denied it at first but, when she caught herself staring at you a million more times she came clean.

“I was only appreciating you.” She brings it up so abruptly that you’re confused, “what are you talking about?”

With a sip of her whiskey, she rolls her eyes and sighs.

“Nothing..”

Her grip’s a little too hard. Her flesh fingers always end up digging into your waist whenever she’s trying to keep you close. Your girlfriend never noticed it until you had to talk to her about the slight redness she had left on your skin. And, for the next week, Sevika brought home boquets of flowers— not the cheap kind— every day until you told her you forgave her. (You didn’t know she wanted you to say so.)

So sassy that you sometimes have to take deep breaths in order to not tell her off. It’s not on purpose, she’s just so used to having that tone. One time you thought she was pissed at you when, in reality, she was just trying to find the next row for her Sudoku round.

Snores loudly. Jannah have mercy on your soul because that woman will not stop snoring for the love of her life. You’ve tried giving her different pillows, different positions, anything and everything, but nothing seems to work. Somehow, over time, you found a way to fall asleep with her deep snores beside you, even though, sometimes, you want to smack her in the face with a pillow.

Dislikes/Hates

Being ignored. Sevika will, quite literally, go insane if you ever give her the silent treatment. She’s not used to being treated like she’s not there— hell, she’s one of the most respected woman in Zaun, why would she be alright with not being acknowledged? Just to get back at you, she’ll annoy you until you break. Chewing loudly in your ear or shaking you up by heavily sitting on the couch beside you, she’s determined, and she knows you know that.

Her own overthinking. She’s been through a lot, and she doesn’t know why you still stick around with all her problems. Even the risk of you being in danger, because of her, makes her stay awake at night, she doesn’t want to lose you and she hates how her mind needs constant reassurance that you want the same thing. Even though she rarely says the amount of doubts she has, she’ll hit you with this look that only you can read. It’s a silent need that you, happily, provide. Murmuring soft words she’ll end up being embarrassed about later.

The saddest one of them all: her face. :(((( Seeing herself in the mirror makes her feel a sense of shame that she’s never fully able to verbally express. It’s the scars that make her feel self conscious, the wrinkles on her face that makes her groan, the masculinity of her jaw that makes her question herself. But, luckily for her, she’s got this amazing girlfriend, you, who will reassure all her problems away. You swoop in when you hear how quiet the apartment has gotten, follow behind her and give her a few looks of awe and comment on whatever she needs you to. Tell her she’s the most beautiful woman you’ve ever seen and she’ll melt. Smiling like some teenager while looking away in embarrassment; in that moment, she’s thinking about how lucky she is to have you with blush on her cheeks.

the grass tickled his skin, weaving its way into his hair in the same way you weaved your soul into his life. he wondered if you had met before, before this life, in the realm of souls. his mother would tell him about such a place as she taught him how to properly cook for bait al-asim—back when he was so small he had to pull a stool over to stand by the tannour.

“ya mama, the realm of souls is where we all existed before allah brought us into the world. sometimes when you meet someone who just seems to fit perfectly with you, it means you have befriended them there,” she would say, gently guiding his little hands over the rolling pin to flatten the dough.

he was sure if he had met you in the realm of souls, he would remember it. there was no way he could forget such a spirit. your eyes were on the stars in the sky and his could not leave the side of your face. jamil wanted to memorize the slope of your nose, the shape of your lips. each mole on your skin, habat ‘am, a kiss from your relatives from when you were a baby. he wanted to kiss you too.

Samuel headcannons: specifically Jewish(ish) ones 

I think, despite him being worldly, despite all he has seen, despite him being far from the most observant, frum member of his community, Samuel still believes in G-d. In fact, the horrors he has scene only reinforce his faith in G-d. I know I know, cynicism as a result of trauma. And he certainly has those days, days where he wrestles with his faith. But that’s what being bene Yisrael means. He wrestles. It’s a part of our faith to argue, and so I think he has less (still some probably but less) guilt over those days. But I think he believes, he feels guilty when he can’t attend shul, the grief in his eyes as he whispers for G-d to forgive him as he must torch His temple. (That scene made me cry. I can’t guys I can’t)

Education. Obviously, Sammy boy is literate in at least two different scripts and languages. He can speak, read, and write medieval Czech, he can read and write Liturgical Hebrew, and he can speak Yiddish. Conversational Hebrew doesn’t exist at this point, and Yiddish didnt have a set standardization. Actually, pretty much no one had standardization for spelling. Point is moot, nvm. Also, it’s likely that he understands written Aramaic to some extent, given that is the language of the Talmud. He also can read trope, show that man a haftorah portion and he can do it with no prep. 

As for education, Samuel went to Cheder, first in Prague, then in Kuttenberg when his family moved back. He started learning his alef-bes by three, started Cheder at five, moved back at some point before he was ten, was a bright boy, and the grandson of a rabbi, so he stayed at it. He would even go on to briefly attend yeshiva back in Prague, but would return home a few years before the events of KCD2, dropping out before he could become a rabbi.  From this, he’s aquired an ability to make profound literary allusions, has a line or bit of wisdom for most circumstances from Pirke Avot or something of the like. Bro is dropping the Rambam and Maimonadies like it’s nothing. And he lives by his words. 

Why did he drop out? With the rise in political tensions, everyone wants someone to blame. And at home he can better keep his loved ones safe when the hammer drops. He wants to go back, but he has been made to forfeit the pen for the sword.

Also, kind of a non sequitar, but every single person at the siege of Suchdol belived in some kind of afterlife. Except for Sam. We Jews have idea's ish, but nothing as concrete as Christian heaven and hell, or Islam’s jannah and jahannam. In fact, the only thing mentioned is Sheol, simply the unending sleep, a state of non-being. In essence, there is one go at this if you are a Jew, and there is only this. So when Samuel volenteers for the suicide mission to get word out, he has no hope of heaven. And when he tells Henry to leave him behind? They both know sam will be made an example of, but sam knows that he will never see the ones he loves again. 

I think he’s Bi. No basis, just vibes. And also the mustache. I could see him with either of the two friends, with one of the women in Kuttenberg’s Jewish quarter, with John but only after he risks his head to help the Jews, could also see sam with OCs. Honestly though, I think faith matters more than gender to Sammy. I think he probably doesn’t sleep around a lot of at all, some of it is he’s just too busy. 

I think Samuel wants kids, and if he can’t have them the traditional way, he will adopt. After all, his father adopted, and his brother is his whole brother. Also, in Judaism, a convert is considered fully Jewish, with no legal or social distinction. His kids would be raised in the faith of his fathers. I also dont think he is very likely to wind up with a Christian, for that reason. If he is to marry, it will be under a canopy.

Sammy boy isn’t very superstitious, but I think he always keeps a red string tied around his left wrist, to keep away the evil eye. And he hands knives and weapons off in general by offering the hilt and holding the blade, so as to avoid a fight (proof: the scene where he hands Martin’s sword back to Henry. Small detail, but no one in the Jewish quarter who handles a weapon hands said weapon to anyone blade first.) 

Sammy follows Rabbi Johanan, Israel is Immune from Planitary Influence. He is NOT an astrology girly. Samuel probably does like gematria, but in the Mildly Autistic And Obsessed With Secret Codes kind of way. Yeah he’s definitely not neurotypical. But that’s another thing.

The Salah is the second most important act of worship after the two testimonies (There is no one worthy of worship in truth except Allah and that Muhammad (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) is Allah's Servant and Messenger.

Allah made it fifty during the night (Al Israa Wa'al Miraj) meaning that Allah wanted His servants to remain occupied with Salah most of the time. But Allah made it 5 but added to it the reward of 50 prayers with each prayer having 10 rewards so in brief 500 rewards for 5 prayers ( it is as if you have prayed Salah 50 times). The Mercy of Allah and easy way to Jannah for the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ.

So understand what you are saying in Salah, slow it down and gain Khushu (sweetness) in Salah and prolong your sujood.

Salah is the coolness of eyes and heart's peace so offer it with complete focus (try your best) and slow it down so that you may gain the pleasure and reward of Allah

Fajr Reflection: Worry of fate

But Allah has already told us our fate:

"And those who feared their Lord will be driven to Paradise in groups until—when they reach it—its gates will be opened and its keepers will say, 'Peace be upon you. You have done well. So enter it, to abide eternally.'" — Surah Az-Zumar (39:73)

To the believers, it will be said: “Peace be upon you.” And they will find the gates of Jannah open for them. How beautiful it is that what we have always known will be said to us. We will be greeted with the salam we wished upon each other, not even knowing the weight of the trials the other had endured. But only that we wished peace on them for the sake of Allah, all the way to Jannah, where peace is eternal, still, and unwavering.

Like the repentance of a man with no sin, in a garden free of harm. Peace is wished for a final time upon those who served Allah and endured patiently.

So how can we stress over the attainment of this world, when this world is but a test?

"Do the people think that they will be left to say, ‘We believe’ and they will not be tested?" — Surah Al-‘Ankabut (29:2)

The fate of the rich man is the same as the fate of the servant. The test of wealth is just as severe as the test of poverty.

Because truly, provision is only from Allah.

"Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength." — Surah Adh-Dhariyat (51:58)

When we forget Allah, we forget ourselves. The heart becomes blind to its true purpose.

"And do not be like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves. Those are the defiantly disobedient." — Surah Al-Hashr (59:19)

We are tested with how we remember Allah amidst distractions, amidst the noise of the dunya. The true test is in maintaining that connection. The real struggle for us lies in remembering Him, remaining faithful in every moment, no matter how the world tries to pull us away.

The struggle is the endurance of the soul to stay connected to Allah, despite the trials, despite the distractions, despite the pressures.

And remember, Allah does not intend hardship for us.

"Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship." — Surah Al-Baqarah (2:185)

So why don’t we focus on our relationship with Him? Why focus on attainment in this dunya, when the true attainment is in the hereafter? Why not focus on His promise to us, the promise of peace?

May the one whom you love be written for you in the best way possible, or may Allāh grant you someone who respects your love so much that both of you strive to be better for each other in this world and Jannah. I know many people who cry and ache from loving someone they cannot have. It's a human emotion. It's a pain that each person feels deeply, and seeing such conditions in our ummah hurts me.
