Bernie Sanders finally made a statement, on Nov. 4, calling for a "pause" in the bombing. People in the replies are saying "better late than never!" and I don't even know where to start.
The genocide has been going on for almost a month. Over 9,000 men, women, and children have been murdered. Thousands more have been wounded. Members of press and healthcare and their families have been deliberately targeted and assassinated. Israel has been murdering civilians en masse with impunity for weeks, both lying about it and blatantly admitting to it. 100+ Palestinians have been murdered in the West Bank due to settler terrorism backed by the Israeli army.
In an interview, Dr. Ofer Cassif, the Knesset member who was suspended for calling for an end to Israeli violence against Palestinians, revealed that he'd reached out to Bernie months prior to Oct. 7th because of the pogroms being carried out by Israelis against Palestinians which he said would result with an "explosion [of violence]", but received no response.
what the fuck do you mean "better late than never". what the fuck do you mean? the genocide is still ongoing, and, just like Blinken, Biden, and every complicit ghoul, he's calling for a pause. not a ceasefire. a ceasefire is just the start of what needs to happen. but he hasn't even called for that.
"better late than never" what gives you the fucking right to say that? tell that to the 10,000 people who the U.S. and its allies allowed Israel to murder. tell that to the thousands of wounded. tell that to the thousands who have been displaced. tell that to the people of Gaza who have been without food, water, and fuel for WEEKS. tell that to the Palestinians in the West Bank who are being murdered at the hands of settler terrorists. tell that to the Palestinians who were abducted and tortured and released with blue bands around their ankles. tell that to the Palestinians in occupied Palestine who can't reach their families and friends. tell that to Palestinians in diaspora who have seen their families, their friends, their people slaughtered with the full backing and support of the vast majority of western governments and media.
"better late than never" no, it's not good enough. IT'S NOT. there are SO many people around the world - both citizens and members of government - who recognized the injustice for what it was the DAY the bombing started. we owe the Palestinian people so much more than that. "better late than never" the ONLY thing that could POSSIBLY begin to even "make up" for the horrors and injustices inflicted upon the Palestinian people for almost a century is to end the genocide, end the occupation, end the apartheid, end settler colonialism, and dismantle the colonial state. Palestinians deserve NO LESS than total emancipation. Complete liberation. until then, it is not and will never be enough.

obviously I loved tsc for a variety of reasons but chief amongst them is the fact that we got another pov of kevin-day-tapping-his-racket-against-the-floor-and-switching-it-to-his-left-hand-in-the-final-game-against-the-ravens gate. i would relive that moment seven million times if I could. nora could be 60 years old telling the story of someone three generations after kevin and a part of me will still hope the main character finds a way to mention peepaw day's racket switch that rocked the nation. it is simply who i am.

who the Fuck still supports Hamas?!
yesterday they taunted everyone with showing three of the hostages and letting the world know that today they would tell everyone about their fate. Today they informed that two of those three are dead, they killed them.
Can you even imagine what kind of torture that had been not only for those three, but for their families and friends? To show you someone you love, someone you pray to return to you, only to tell you that in 24 hours you will know if they killed them or not? How it is to find out that they are gone forever? How could you believe that any good person could do that to another person? How could it be okay for a "freedom fighter" to do that?
Or are you going with the "it's not true, it is israeli propaganda" shit again like you did with the hostages? Only to not say anything when it is proven - trough exchanging the hostages for actual criminals - that they in fact did have the hostages the whole time?! How can you believe every shit lie they tell, but when the same people over the same channels inform you over their sensless hate and horrific brutal actions you suddenly claim it to be a lie?!
How can you still defend Hamas after all these things? After you were proven again and again that they care about no ones freedom, that they are not just and over all not good?! How can you still claim to be for human rights? Against discrimination and hate and violence?! How dare you still claim that you are anything but a raging antisemite?!
You yell "shame on you" at family members of the hostages and random jews you see on the street. But they are not the ones that should be ashamed. You are.

Maybe I’m okay with it if Hirano never traditionally “loves” Kagi. Or anyone. Maybe it never will turn into the same kind of love Kagi feels. Kagi is nevertheless such a source of inspiration and strength and comfort to Hirano. Even if he never feels a desire to touch or get married or whatever. Maybe he does it because Kagi asks and he loves making Kagi happy most of all. He wouldn’t seek it if not asked. But Kagi is always asking. And he knows it makes Kagi happy. Does anyone see the vision. Do you understand. Maybe kagi will be okay with it if Hirano never “loves” him the same way Kagi loves him. Because he knows how Hirano works and he knows how Hirano cares. And he knows he is unique to Hirano. He knows Hirano wouldn’t do these things with anyone else. And that’s still love in its own way.

i am so curious whats your beef with tsuna hitman reborn??
What do you mean what's my beef isn't it obvious the kid never just accepts that he's gonna be a mob boss one day and it's so freaking annoying like you're telling me you are fighting multiple enemies and even go into the future and find out that your future self is the head of Vongola family and you still refuse to wise up and just accept yeah im gonna be a mob boss maybe I should stop whining about it and just get with the program like I'm sorry but getting over your refusal to be a mob boss should be end of act one plot point not still unresolved by both the end of the anime and end of the manga bc yeah I read that too oh I've never been more frustrated waiting for this kid to finally be like yeah I accept and take responsibility for my future as the head of my family but we end the series the same way we start and I'm ready to fight tsuna over it
