One Less Lonesome Bride
Delores x Dead Bride! Reader || Okay so- I know I said I’ll make something for BJ after the movie but his ex wife was looking a little TOO FINE😩 I couldn’t keep my eyes away y’all you have to watch it for yourself SHE IS GORGEOUS. I sprinkled a little backstory for her because she’s deserves it
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: After being left to die by your ex and play the piano by yourself for so long, you meet Delores
Romantic Fluff
Warnings: Talk of death, murder, cult, hints that reader grew up in the victorian age, and just descriptions on being dead.
POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR “BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE!!!”
_✍︎︎
One lonesome Bride that’s what you are. Wandering in the afterlife by yourself still in your white grown isn’t you imagine for your dead life to be nor wanted it to be; on your ceremony, you imagine a long filling life, where you and your lover grew old together, have children, things that were normal to want in your day in age but for one second you’re at a wedding and the next your were here: at the Netherworld, dead. You spent some time finding your groom-to-be, thinking he met the same unfortunate fate and he just got lost from you, however after maybe like… 178 years still no sign. It’s funny that’s how long you’ve been dead for but you couldn’t tell. They don’t keep track down here.
You silence your thoughts to a piano, something you did often in your life: letting the gentle music playing from your fingertips relax the nerves within yourself and despite being dead it still had its effect. A crowd never did show up to come to watch you, which has never been a problem to you, well that was kinda of a lie. Before your death you’ve dreamed of being a musician, which was silly for women from when and where you were from regardless it was still a big dream; you’ve longed to be a part of those concerts you would read on the paper or see on paintings and how magical it looked. It was a big promise your partner made before you passed on your wedding. A shame you never got to see it, alive but you were content playing your emotions away. Occasionally some do pass by to view your playing, but, most of the time, it was always newcomers. You didn’t blame them either: the piano was so out of tune almost completely broken but you kept playing anyway, only listening to the song in your head. Swaying along to its beat.
As you press the keys of a broken instrument a gust of wind flew past you, way too fast for you to think it was just the wind. You paused your playing for a quick second, checking if a ghost came into the room to hear you play, but there was nothing. You brushed it off quickly and turned back to your notes, after all, it was the Netherworld. The music blinded your senses, deafening you from the threat echoing around your music room. You spammed your notes when you glazed up feeling your dead heart beat for a second at the woman in front of you.
She was dressed in all black in a gown that looked like a wedding dress- in a completely different style than yours. Her black curly hair matched the dress and her lips were the only color to pop from her complexion. She was stitched up just as you’ve imagined the face of Dr. Frankenstein’s monster, the only difference being that you wouldn’t describe her as horrid and monstrous.
But as memorizing and beautiful.
You patted your eyelashes feeling like you were staring much longer than you should the silence being overwhelming and the absolute dominance she had over you sent a pleasant shiver down your dead spine. She looks down at your hands-glued to the piano keys- then back at you, her dead black eyes staring into you. “Who are you married you?” She asked her accent echoing in the room. “Hmmm..” you hesitated, understanding her question, but found it difficult to find the words. You told your lover’s name: giving her an open book on your backstory, even though that’s not what she asked but you ramble on anyway like a nervous young man trying to talk to a lady. The mysterious dead bride made a satisfying ‘hum’ tilting her head as her eyes roam on you again, making you gulp. Her eyebrows narrowed when she fully observed the instrument in front of you. She looked.. confused? “What’s this?” She asked and you couldn’t tell if she was serious or not. “Why, it’s a piano.” Her lost expression didn’t change she just looked back at you. “Piano?” So she was serious, she generally didn’t know what a piano was.
You spent the rest of your time educating the enticing woman- now next to you sitting on a stool- what a piano was and what it did. The lesson shifted into a conversation of your story another thing she didn’t ask for but when you turned to look at her: she was smiling. Her eyelids resting on her black eyes, her soft warm glaze turning you into mush. Your breath hitched as you felt your cheeks warm up despite no blood pumping through your system. You cleared your voice, tracing back to the previous lesson before you got distracted. You moved your fingers to the previous song before she interrupted, your nervousness melting away as you broke into a song without even realizing it. Delores glued her eyes and mind to you feeling that spark of life she hadn’t felt in a long, long, long, long, time. In her human life, she only knew the supernatural, the folklore, the mythology, a cult she vowed to say loyalty to. When you live on nothing by power, survival, or vengefulness, you don’t live. She hasn’t lived in a long time and she thinks she realizes that now.
From then on, it became a tradition. Whenever you were not alone in your music room, she was right, there; listening to you sing and play becoming one of your most, and only, honorable guests. Because of this little hangout, the two of you grew to know each other more even enjoying each other’s company outside of the music room where you really got to clamps of who she was and why the dead screamed and scurried away from you when she was close by, eventually, the two of you locking your arms together. Delores had everything in her power to end your life twice and you knew that now, -she probably would’ve ended up doing that at your first meeting if she wasn’t so curious about your piano- however, she treated you like an angel she saw you as; her cold nail rubbing gently on your dead skin locking arms and holding hands to make you feel safe, her eyes being on your when you perform earning all of her attention, even going as far as to dance together at the soul train stop. Where the two of you shared your first kiss. She pulls you in mid-spin, slamming her cold lips on yours at a similar temperature sending warmth to your body.
Time seemed to pause at the moment and it felt you were alone with her, regardless of the dancing dead around you. She held your cheeks as you stared into her space-like eyes, feeling your dead heartbeat and you didn’t feel like you’re lonesome bride anymore, because of her.

WASTED SUMMERS | UTAHIME IORI
Tumblr media
synopsis: it's common knowledge utahime hates gojo satoru, but its true reason has always been up for debate - perhaps it was you all along.
warnings, tags: afab!reader x utahime iori, reader is satoru's girlfriend since high-school, utahime is a closet case, stalker utahime, angst, sapphic yearning, reader's actions are questionable at best after satoru's death
wc: 1.3k
Tumblr media
Utahime Iori has always reminded you of a fawn when she's around you; the way she treats you with the utmost genteel, the soft knocks of her geta against the wooden floor being the only thing that gives away she is walking behind you. When you turn around, her brown, kind eyes widen for a second before you say hello and give her a smile as you enter the classroom together. Yet, she doesn't have the opportunity to greet you as you already have a tall, snowy figure towering right next to you before his arm pulls you against his chest. She watches as you wrap your arm around Satoru's waist while he spits out his daily dose of teasing towards Utahime - rage engulfs her at the sight of you cuddling him while he's making fun of her, and before she knows it, she's screaming at Satoru Gojo at the top of her lungs.
You must assume that she's a lunatic, she thinks to herself while sitting at her table as the warmth of the afternoon light shines through the windows. She unwraps a menthol candy and begins to suck on it to soothe the ache in her throat. Another ache that has been merely growing stronger because of Satoru.
"Why are you here all by yourself, Hime?" she jolts at the sound of your voice before she looks at you standing at the door in your neatly ironed uniform, its collar barely hiding the lilac hickey your boyfriend left on your precious skin, your thighs glowing in the orange hue of the sunlight under your skirt. Fuck Satoru for daring to mark such a gorgeous being like you, she thinks, her fist clench around the plastic candy wrapper.
"Satoru barely comes here, unless necessary." she answers, forcing her gaze towards the sunset once again when she realizes you already have a nickname for her. The prettiest name she's ever been called, or did it only make her heart flutter because it rolled so sweetly off your tongue? The heat of sunrays bite at her cheek, pale red spreads across her skin by the time you take the seat ahead of her. You put your elbow on her table, resting your jaw in the cradle of your palm as you peer at her homework before looking eyes with her once more.
"The ink is already dry." you say, and she immediately knows you're questioning why she's sitting in a classroom all by herself despite her homework being done a long time ago. "You're so pretty, Hime. It'd be a shame to waste that away here all by yourself. Actually, you should wear your hair in a half up-half down style. That'd look cute. But I bet you already have many boys asking you out."
Utahime's eyes widen as you reach out your hand to run it across her bangs, following the line of her temple and along her pigtail. You hear the plastic crumble in her fist, see the redness spread further above to her forehead as you lean closer, stopping when your lips are only inches away from hers. "Or do you like girls?"
"What? No!" her laughter trembles with embarrassment as she jumps up from her seat, and grabs her bag to hold it ahead of her chest as tightly as possible before bowing a goodbye ahead of you. "Apologies, I have to go."
The hatred towards Satoru Gojo in Utahime's chest has been only growing ever since that afternoon; she's changed her hairstyle like you suggested, and you even bought her a snow white colored bow as a gift which she wears every day. Yet, the fact that the bow was your gift remains a secret, or rather a meaningless detail you don't have time to share with anyone because your time is mostly spent with Satoru.
Her stomach twists in disgust whenever your lips meet with his shit eating grin. She scoffs whenever he's praised for being the strongest, for having six eyes that sense everything in the universe. Yet, she's the only one who sees that he doesn't care about you. Not truly. Not like she does. She knows this ever since she overheard you talking about shopping at the mall on a friday afternoon, and she could not fight the urge to follow you although Satoru was holding your hand during the spree. As she was walking behind you both, she was already thinking about all the lies she would have told if Satoru caught her. It infuriated her that he never did - does he even care about you? What if someone else was following you and not her? Her nails were digging into her palms, leaving marks akin to a crescent moon when he left your side to look for clothes of his own while you were in the fitting room.
Anybody could've peaked through the cloth that served as a pathetic door between your nearly naked body and a freak. As if to prove her point, her feet silently carried her to were she saw your shadow moving. Her gaze zigzagged through the store to check no one saw her before her shaky hand rose to gently pull away the cloth to be able to see your figure in the mirror. Only one of her darkened eyes watched you; she could nearly taste your skin on her tongue, your exposed bosom inviting her lips so hard that it made her chest ache, how the lace of your lingerie hugged your curves so perfectly that she wished it were her hands that stripped them off you.
Her point was made; anybody could've seen you and Satoru can count himself lucky it was only Utahime. She swallowed hard as she stepped away from your fitting room when Satoru's annoying laughter appeared to be coming closer. Tears began to roll down on her cheeks as she was slowly walking home, realizing that whereas seeing you dressed like that changed something in her, but that gift was really meant for the man she hated the most.
Oh, but how much loathe she feels for him now that he's dead. You're standing next to his body, a used tissue in your fist as your tears constantly hit his pale chest. She watches your entire body tremble as you weep, and somehow it turns her heartache into wrath. How many years she's wanted you to leave him? How many years she's thought to tell you you will never be first for this man? How many times have you begged for him to not go? All those summers waisted for a man who prioritized the World over you - meanwhile Utahime was growing sick from the yearning for you and you only.
But you have always known this. She knows you have as your wits is one thing she loves you for. Yet, when your wet cheek find her shoulder, her arms wrap around you in a tight, warm embrace. Her parfume smells like the one you wore as a student, her lips shine in a familiar gloss as she kisses your forehead. She holds you for long minutes, her brown eyes looking at Satoru with spite and disgust until you let go of her.
Her heart ruts in her chest when she realizes you kiss her; your palms embracing her face ever so softly, yet still holding her in place. Your lips and tongue feel desperate, overwhelming enough that she has to hold into you or otherwise her knees will give in. Shoko's equipments chaotically cling as your back meets the metalic table, making you both jolt back into reality. Disheveled and out of breath, you stare at each other before your eyes find Satoru again.
"You should leave" you sob, fixing your hair and wiping her lipgloss off your lips with the back of your hand while turning your back on her. Her lips tremble as she storms out of the building, tearing the white bow out of her hair before stomping it and grinding it into the ground with her heel.
All those years, she's waited for you to become hers and even in death, your heart still belongs to Saturo Gojo.

Friday Nights
Valeria Garza x fem!reader
Note: It’s been a while lol, writing has been such a chore lately it’s my passion so I refuse to give up on it. I’m working on a part two to Everything is Falling Apart, but I know it’s going to take a while so here’s this short little piece to tide y’all over until I do get around to finishing, editing, and posting it
Summary: You meet an alluring woman at the club you frequent.
Warnings: alcohol, clubbing, nothing angsty tho
Word count: 1033
The music is loud, the room is bathed in a mix of colorful light and shadows from bodies tightly packed together. A buzz resounds, chatter, laughter, fun. Yeah, this is your scene alright.
You could dance the night away with your friends, and from the moment you put on the outfit which flattered all of your best features, you knew that that was exactly what you intended to do. The smell of sweat and perfume was one you knew well, and as your brow glistened you felt right at home.
The compact feeling of the dance floor could make someone feel claustrophobic, like they were being suffocated by the touching of dozens of bodies against one another. To you, the feeling was a comfort, a grounding touch that was promised at the end of every week no matter how rough. It was a feeling you could only pull yourself away from for one reason.
The effect of the shots you took hours ago began to fade and you couldn’t have that, your night is hardly over. This is what lures you away. You alert one of your friends that you are headed to the bar before slipping your way through the crowd. The bartender knows you well, you frequent and she works Friday nights so she sees you often, often enough to know that you want a little something that’s fruity but strong. She switches it up every time, just like you like. Some part of you used to have a crush on her, but you aren’t naive and you know how to spot a straight woman. A shame, really, you never find anyone cute to go home with at this place.
Maybe your confidence is intimidating, maybe your outfits are too bold, or maybe, just maybe, you have a hard time getting asked out because you spend too much time dancing to talk and you’re always, always with your girls, never alone. Save for the frequent trips you make to the bar for another round.
The bartender places your drink in front of you, and you reach into your purse in search of your wallet. Not one to keep an ongoing tab, you usually opt to pay for each drink individually, that way you don’t go too crazy on the spending. It seems this time you don’t have to worry about that, though, because a hand is placed on your shoulder, stopping you, as a smooth voice says “this one’s on me.”
You see the woman hand the bartender her card and you turn to her, having to hold yourself back from audibly gasping. She’s gorgeous, strong cheekbones and long lashes, framed by dark shoulder length hair. Not to mention her impeccable style, she wears loose black slacks and combat boots, but the main feature that has caught your attention is her shirt. A dark red satin button up, the sleeves rolled up and the buttons so generously undone, giving you a view that you struggle not to stare at. The red looks good against her warm skin tone and you can’t tell which you’d rather touch, the silky shirt, or her smooth skin.
You realize you’ve been staring entirely too long, scolding yourself for half a second before smiling and thanking the woman for the drink.
“I haven’t seen you around here before,” you say, desperate to keep the conversation going. You finally have an opportunity to flirt with a stunning woman and by god are you going to take it.
She smiles at you, eyes smug, you can tell she knows she has you hooked and a part of you really likes that idea. “I could say the same.”
You furrow your brows, trying to think if you have ever seen her before. You draw a blank, “I’m here almost every Friday.”
She hums, “I’m here Wednesdays, guess I’ll have to change up my schedule. You come here alone or?”
“With friends,” you point to your girls, “nothing takes the edge off the week quite like dancing the second the weekend starts. What’s got you coming on Wednesdays? Unconventional work schedule?”
She laughs, eyes half lidded, “something like that.”
You bat your lashes at her and she wonders if you know what power you hold with just a blink of your eyes, it prompts her to elaborate
“I own the place,” half of her is just answering your question, the other half is flat out bragging in hopes to impress you.
“Seriously?” The smirk on her face leads you to believe she’s messing with you but she nods. You want to stare slack jawed but you refrain, instead smiling wide and responding, “well then I’d better stay on your good side, it’s a nice establishment you run here.”
“A business is only as nice as the people in it,” her eyes trace your figure from bottom to top, you spot a hungry looking glint, “and, well, if you frequent then I suppose I run the nicest establishment in town.”
The line was cheesy, yet still you find your knees weak along with the feeling of blood rushing to your face.
“You uhm-“ you stumble over your words, hoping to god you don’t sound as anxious and giddy as you feel. Your intense eye contact makes up for it, ensnaring the woman before you, “you like to dance?”
Her smirk grows, shifting into something more like a smile, “I love to, you?”
“Yeah me too.” You cautiously take one of her hands, continuing to hold eye contact as you gently pull her in the direction you’d come from, “I’m y/n, by the way.”
As your feet meet the dance floor, she pulls you close, her hands meeting your hips as they’d been aching to do since she’d seen you standing there at the bar. She can dance well, you can tell before you’ve even started, her stance is impeccable and there’s not a hint of hesitation on her. You know you’ve got a full night ahead of you, and you don’t find yourself complaining, “Valeria.”
You repeat it, tasting her name on your tongue. It sounds good, so very good, “I like it.”
And there it is again, that smirk.

My Top 15 Vaporwave Horror Movies
I thought I would put together a list of vaporwave/dreamcore/liminal aesthetic horror movies that I find to feel outside of time and space. That's sort of my vibe here on tumblr, and I also like the mantra of "if there's something you want to see that no one has made yet, make it yourself." These are films that I personally love, and the list not meant to be definitive. Remember also that art is subjective. I hope someone out there finds at least one film they want to add to their watchlist! It's been a minute since I've seen some of them, so let me know if I need to correct something.
15. Mandy (2018)
I wish I could add pictures for all of these entries, but I can still only add 10 pictures to a post blah. It's such a shame because I wanted to show off that gorgeous aesthetics of all these films. Oh well. This is a revenge flick about a cult kidnapping Nick Cage's girlfriend and him losing his marbles about it. Definitely recommend if you're the mood for vibes and/or Nick Cage NickCageing.
TW: violence, blood, fire
14. Come True (2020)
This is a haunting, fantastic vibes movie. It feels so otherworldly. It's about a homeless young person participating in a sleep study to be able to safely get some sleep. It would be an almost perfect film if it weren't for the just garbage ending. If you've seen it, you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't, just skip the last 5 minutes, and take it for what the rest of the film is: beautiful.
13. Braid (2018)
This film follows a couple of young drug dealers on the run from their supplier crashing at a mentally unwell friend's house. The catch is they have to play along with their host's unhinged "game" while they hide out. Not gonna lie, this film is trippy af and definitely not for everyone. I can guarantee that no matter what, it is a ride.
TW: heavy drug use, blood
12. Perfect Blue (1997)
A pop star retires to become a full-time actor, which angers some of her fans. Her sense of reality becomes warped when one obsessive fan begins to stalk her. I don't love some of the turns this movie takes when it comes to mental health, but it's hard to deny this film is classic that has stunning animation.
TW: negative depictions of mental disorders, violence, blood
11. Skinamarink (2022)
This controversial found footage movie is sort of hard to describe because it's so otherworldly. Basically, two kids wake up one night to find their dad and all of their doors and windows are missing. Everything about this nostalgic yet terrifying film is vibes and aesthetic: liminal, vaporwave, voidcore, dreamcore, you name it. It feels like a fever dream, and it's a nightmarish journey you won't soon forget, for better or worse.
Tumblr media
10. Vivarium (2019)
A couple are looking for a home to share. They follow a strange realtor to an even stranger labyrinthine neighborhood that seems to have no escape. If you're into liminal spaces, this film will definitely scratch that itch for you.
Tumblr media
9. Revenge (2017)
This is a r*pe revenge tale that has absolutely beautiful scenery and cinematography. I love the sweeping liminal landscapes and vibrant vaporwave colors. It's a standard plot as far as the genre goes, but it's directed by a woman, so it has a different angle that I find to be superior to most films of the genre.
TW: violence, gore, SA, blood
Tumblr media
8. Don't Worry Darling (2022)
A 1950s housewife begins to suspect that something about her utopian community is not what it seems. This film seems to be a bit controversial, too, for some reason. Whatever the case may be, I adore the liminality and dreamy feel of this film. You really get a sense that this world is outside of time and space.
Tumblr media
7. It Follows (2014)
This film is straight up about a sexually transmitted curse. Jay sleeps with her boyfriend for the first time, and then finds out she must outpace this demon that can take the shape of anyone forever lest it kill her, or she must pass the curse on to someone else. The shots in this film are to die for. Especially for connoisseurs of the liminal, vaporwave, and dreamcore. Highly recommend for the visuals and music alone.
TW: gore, blood
Tumblr media
6. House (1977)
Gorgeous decides to stay with her aunt to hopefully get closer with a group of six of her friends. The girls come to find her aunt's house is more than meets the eye. The visuals and absurdity are what make this movie. It's a classic for a reason.
TW: cartoon gore
Tumblr media
5. Akira (1988)
Tetsuo gains psychic abilities via a secret military project and becomes mad with power. It's up to his friends and a small group of psychics to stop him. This is another classic anime. Its 1980s futuristic mentality really lends itself to the vaporwave atmosphere of the cityscape. I highly recommend this classic if you haven't seen it.
TW: violence, body horror
Tumblr media
4. Censor (2021)
Enid is a serious film censor with a shrouded past that includes her long-missing sister. She watches a film that bears eerie resemblance to her vague childhood memories that begin to take hold of her as tries to piece them together. I don't think I'm totally clear on when this film takes place, which is what I love about it. It has a spooky surreal quality that will both draw you in and unsettle you.
TW: violence, blood
Tumblr media
3. She Dies Tomorrow (2020)
Amy is convinced she is going to die tomorrow. Her friend Jane comes by to comfort her, and then becomes consumed by the thought she will die tomorrow as well. This film is as strange as it is beautiful. It will either leave you in tears or confused af or both.
TW: blood
Tumblr media
2. The Neon Demon (2016)
Jesse is a very young, gifted model who is new in town (probably LA). She quickly signs with an agent and begins getting gigs, breeding the contempt of the established models around her. This is probably one of the most visually appealing films I've ever seen. The music is on point. The low key acting is a vibe. I just adore this film. 10/10, highly recommend.
TW: gore, blood
Tumblr media
1. The Platform (2019)
A man wakes up in a prison that is an indescribable liminal pit where there are a seemingly never-ending number of levels. A platform full of food is lowered through each level once a day, and everyone on the lower levels must fight to survive. This film is just so utterly anticapitalist and gorgeous that I can't help but sing its praises. I think everyone should watch this movie at least once. It is horrifying yet eye-opening. Certainly one of my favorite films of all time.
TW: gore, violence, blood
Thank you for reading my list! Like I said, I wanted to make a list like this because I couldn't find one when I went looking. I hope you found something to add to your watchlist! I tried to include some of the big TWs for these movies, but they're far from complete lists. So please check websites like doesthedogdie.com for more complete TW lists if you have any concerns. Make decisions that are right for you. Thanks again, and have a happy and safe new year! xx

FEMALE MOVIE/TV RECS (PART 9 / ADULT & FAMILY ANIMATION)
got inspired from a recommendation post so decided to make a list of movies and shows with female-centric stories/female protagonists. since i can't post all of the genres in one post, i'll split it into multiple posts and y'all can save or add to the list as you wish. (disclaimer: i have watched most of these, but i only know about the existence of others. not every movie/show on these lists will be my recommendation. my recommendations will be beneath the list with reasons. also some of these are way better than others in terms of storytelling/performance--which is why i'll list my faves separately):
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media

OF WHICH ARE FOR ADULT AUDIENCES:
Pantheon
Scavenger's Reign
Blue Eye Samurai
Arcane: League of Legends
Trese
HAVEN'T WATCHED:
Pantheon
Lilo & Stitch
Fiona & Cake
Star Vs. The Forces of Evil
Trese
Princess Mononoke
Green Snake
The Breadwinner
HONORABLE MENTIONS:
Violet Evergarden
Barbie in The Diamond Castle
Monsters Vs Aliens
Epic
Finding Dory
Encanto
The Incredibles II
Tinkerbell: Legend of The Neverbeast
Brave
WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND:
Blue Eye Samurai (10/10) (super gritty, but the perfect revenge story, puts John Wick to shame)
Scavenger's Reign (8/10) (split story, but two of the main characters are women, and one is a black lesbian! fantastic animation, though don't watch if you're intensely trypophobic, it can be sci-fi horror)
Mulan (9/10) (one of the most perfect animated Disney classics)
Turning Red (8/10) (this movie remembered the tween era)
Tinkerbell (if you crave matriarchy, sisterhood, magic and female centric society and story, then you need to watch the Tinkerbell movies)
Wolfwalkers (7.5/10) (an anti-colonial, anti patriarchal, pro-pagan fantasy movie with beautiful animation and a very touching, female-centric story)
Arcane: League of Legends (10/10) (gorgeous animation, amazing writing, incredible performances, and don't get me started on the sisters that take centre stage--also, lesbianism and gender nonconformity!)
The Legend of Korra (8/10) (good writing, a badass protagonist, a fantastic cast of characters, beautiful scoring, beautiful animation, amazing action sequences)
PERSONAL NOTES
The Mitchells Vs The Machines is basically a drama between a lesbian girl and her dad who have to figure their relationship out while they're running from robots. It was full of heart and fun and had some good jokes in there. I'd definitely recommend it.
Raya & The Last Dragon is the first Disney movie with a gender non-conforming princess! It also has some of the best action sequences in any Disney animated movie, however it doesn't hold a candle to The Incredibles II, which stars Helen Parr as the main character of the film. It's one of my favourite films of all time because of how they depict Helen and the main villain of the story (a badass genius of a woman). Really pro-female films, even for all their flaws.
Abominable has some of the most gorgeous visuals I've seen outside of a Disney animation. The texturing and coloring is so vivid it makes my mouth water. It's far better than Over The Moon, but both have their own charm. Abominable and Home have very similar plots. Also, the girl in Home is voiced by Rihanna while Beyonce voices the queen of the faeries in Epic.
One movie that shares a similar theme (kindness to animals even if we don't understand them or they scare us) with Abominable is The Sea Beast. The Sea Beast is one of the best animations with a black female girl as a lead I've ever seen. There's also a badass black woman pirate. There are some scenes that could have been written (or colored) better, but I loved it either way. I think it was the first animated film to depict shrinkage for black hair! And it didn't lighten the skin or whiten the features of the black characters!
Many people view Frozen II and Brave as "almost" masterpieces whose writers ultimately failed them, and I can say that I agree to some extent. There are many things technically wrong with the movies. Minor details that set the pacing off or take away from the immersion. However, I still love both of them. I really love daughter vs mother and sister vs sister stories (that includes Tinkerbell: The Secret of The Wings) because there's so much to explore in such relationships. They also both have some killer soundtracks, some amazing visuals and well-executed action sequences. I've truly seen way worse than these two films, and the characters are mostly loveable.
The Breadwinner is an animated film about a girl dressing up like a boy under the rule of the Taliban so she can earn some money to help feed her family. It's scored very high by critics.
I'd also recommend The Owl House (even though there's some appeal to genderism in later seasons). It's the first time I've seen a bisexual animated character and the enemies to lovers arc with Luz and Amity is unmatched in cannon magic school stories. I also really love the depiction of The Owl Lady who is treated like a male character in that she is allowed to be non-maternal, single and old (and wrinkled), arrogant and boastful, all without the show trying to punish her for it. The Boiling Isles are also fascinating as a setting.
If you like The Owl House, there's a chance you'll love She-Ra. There were many things I found annoying about She-Ra, but my experience was mostly positive. I'm not the biggest fan of Catradora, but I do appreciate the drama. I loved the world-building and magic system mainly, so the character quirks didn't get to me as much as they have others. Also, amazing antagonists in this series. It could have been more mature, but it's still entertaining.
I also definitely recommend Home on The Range. It's a whole movie with talking animals, but there's no tomboy like the main female protagonist in a Disney movie. She is one of the most tomboy characters Disney ever made. Also, I love 2D animation and this film reminds me why. Also, the idea of a feminine, micromanaging old heifer, a bull-headed, roughhouse new girl cow, and a young airhead cow that can't sing going on an adventure across the wild west to save their human's (a sweet old lady with some bark and bite) farm? And they have to compete with a hotshot, asshole male horse who is young and fast? It's like the perfect western comedy but with cows!
Anyways, if you can't tell, I love animated stuff and a lot of these are my comfort movies.

Okay I’m STILL procrastinating watching s15 bc I’m SCARED so here’s my extremely biased ratings/opinions on the episodes of s14 to help me procrastinate (episodes which are multiple parts of a single story will be condensed into one slot)
Room Zero: SO cute and good, I LOVED the animation style, it was simple and short but really well done with great colors, fun alien designs, and fluid animation, and I just like seeing the guys go on missions like that. It's a shame that the animated show never got picked up bc I would've adored seeing more of it. 10/10
From Stumbled Beginnings: Very cute and funny origin story for Simmons and Grif, and I love that they were p much always together since they enlisted lmao makes their dynamic rlly good and the humor actually got a couple laughs out of me. 8/10
Fifty Shades of Red: Sarge's humor never quite landed with me like is has for some people (my boyfriend lmao I literally have to pause episodes sometimes so he can stop laughing. Anyway) but it was a very humorous and in character origin for him as well. 5/10
Why They’re Here: Less interesting than the previous two, obviously just meant to fill in plot "holes" and to also show us the origins of the other characters. Also I am completely ignoring that one line from Tucker in the interview, just gonna chalk it up to the "edgy" humor it does not exist to me. 4/10
The Brick Gulch Chronicles: WONDERFUL stop motion, very fun and cute and entertaining, very wholesome and still in the vibe with what the show itself is. I appreciate the willingness to do stop motion for most of it. 10/10
Red Army Unit FH57’s Adventure: It was kinda interesting and kinda funny but I found myself kinda tuning it out cuz it just felt kinda whatever. The combo of the different animation styles was cool though and I thought the ship misunderstanding them was funny. 5/10
Locus and Felix: Okay I'm gonna be a black sheep for a second and say that I rlly don't care that much about Locus and Felix. I don't think Felix is a secretly deep sadboi whom I'm gonna spend an unnecessary amount of time thinking about, I don't think Locus as secretly good all along, and I don't care that much about their partnership and what they were like before Chorus. That being said, the animation here is absolutely gorgeous, this is probably my favorite animated story in the whole season, it looks awesome. The plot is nothing special but who cares like I said it's beautiful, 6/10
Fight the Good Fight!: VERY funny and well-executed propaganda video, short and sweet and nothing more to it. It does its job. 5/10
Meta vs. Carolina: Dawn of Awesome: Another one I really don't care for because literally everything leading UP to the fight between Meta and Carolina is a waste of time. Maybe some people really care about their weapons and stats, but I don't. And even then, you kinda know Carolina is gonna win the fight, the question is just how. 4/10
Grey vs. Gray: I don't know or care about the Game Grumps and the entire thing felt like a short gag that went on for way too long with a predictable ending. 2/10
Caboose's Guide to Making Friends: Again, ADORABLE art style and very cute having a story be told from Caboose's perspective. 7/10
Head Cannon: Kinda funny I guess. I wish we'd gotten it spread out more equally among the heads Omega jumped into. Ik he didn't spend equal time in there but who cares. Whatever, still funny. 5/10
Get Bent: I LAUGHED PROBABLY THE HARDEST AT THIS ONE AND THAT'S MOSTLY BC OF LESBIAN DONUT IT CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD AND IT WAS HILARIOUS (also hello, bisexual church?) 9/10
Red vs. Blue: The Musical: it was fine. it was creative. The dancing was well animated. Enjoyable. 5/10
Mr. Red vs. Mr. Blue: I haven't seen Reservoir Dogs but Kaikaina was in this which automatically boosts it to a 8/10 (I also like that they have movie nights it's cute)
RvB Throwdown: Fine but mostly forgettable. 3/10
The Triplets Story: REALLY interesting concept (y'all know I love the freelancers) that felt like it dragged on too long and only gave Ohio something to do. 4/10
Immersion: The Warthog Flip: I loved the costumes and the actual Warthog and it got a couple laughs out of me. 5/10
Red vs. Blue vs. Rooster Teeth: This was made for the fans/themselves. As someone who is neither, none of it was funny and I just kinda waited for it to be over. At least the animation of the armor irl looked rlly good

I'm bored and I can't fall asleep so I'm going to do one of those best/worst things that people do. Remember that it's all just my personal taste and if you disagree that's absolutely fine. This is a long post.
The best and the worst out of each transformation
Magic Winx
Honestly this one is good on everyone but my fave will always be Tecna. Her Magic Winx design is so unique and her wings transform into a paper plane when she flies. Top notch.
Tumblr media
There isn't a single bad design in here and I can't even say which one I like the least so I'm going to skip it.
2. Enchantix
This one is hard because I love all of Enchantix designs. I'm going to split this one between Aisha and Flora cuz they're dead gorgeous.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Enchantix I like the least would probably be Tecna's. But considering how good Enchantix is in general it's not that bad.
Tumblr media
3. Believix
Tecna slays. Just look at her. Her Believix form is just so cool. A massive upgrade from her Enchantix form. That bob cut just suits her so well...
Tumblr media
I hate to say it but I really don't like Musa's Believix form. It's so out there. I know they have this whole thing about superheroes but did she really need to wear underpants on top of her leggings?
Tumblr media
4. Harmonix
Musa's Harmonix is easily the best one. It looks good and I love it.
Tumblr media
As for the worst... Bloom. I just don't like it.
Tumblr media
5. Sirenix
I don't like Sirenix in general but Aisha's Sirenix is pretty good. Aisha doesn't really have bad transformations to begin with.
Tumblr media
And the worst is Tecna. It's just bad.
Tumblr media
6. Bloomix
Now this is my favorite! Bloomix is like the best transformation we've gotten since Enchantix in terms of looks.
I will split this one between Bloom and Musa because I can't choose. Bloom's Bloomix form is very good. That hair color on her looks fantastic and the outfit itself is so well put together that I wish we could have kept Bloomix for the rest of the series. Musa is another favorite of mine. Shame that this transformation had to be replaced by Butterflix.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Stella's Bloomix doesn't actually look that bad I just think her hairdo ruins the whole look.
Tumblr media
7. Mythix
Mythix isn't so bad of a transformation. But it looks really bad in 3D so I'm judging its 2D version.
Bloom's Mythix looks really fun so yeah.
Tumblr media
I don't like Flora's Mythix for the same reason I don't like S5 formal dresses. Too many flowers. It looks too busy.
Tumblr media
8. Butterflix
Butterflix can go die in a fire yada yada but... Musa pretty... (Stella's Butterflix is very nice too actually)
Tumblr media
And the worst out of the worst is... Tecna's! It doesn't look too bad in a vacuum but it signifies the problem I've had with Tecna's character writing past S4. That's not Tecna. Tecna past S4 is just Bloom but tech-savvy. And the way her Butterflix looks is a constant reminder of that.
Tumblr media
9. Tynix
I like Musa's Tynix. It's cool. Other than that I don't have much to say about this transformation.
Tumblr media
And I hate to do this to my girl Tecna, but I like her Tynix the least.
Tumblr media
10. Dreamix
Tecna eats. Plain and simple. That haircut never lies. Also, I love how Tecna's transformations are either the best or the worst on my list.
Tumblr media
And I very much dislike Bloom's Dreamix look. Dunno, I just don't like it.
Tumblr media
11. Onyrix
About time Stella shows up on my list. From how underwhelming this transformation is Stella's look was a pleasant surprise. Love that blue on her.
Tumblr media
And again. Bloom's Onyrix is the worst. Goodness gracious this shade of pink is abhorrent on her.
Tumblr media
12. Cosmix
Cosmix is nice. I do like it a lot actually. There isn't a single Cosmix design that I hate. But I do love Stella's Cosmix form.
Tumblr media
I don't hate Flora's Cosmix but I like it the least.
Tumblr media
I will not cover S8's updated designs for previous transformations. Not a fan of them. I also didn't mention either Lovix or Sofix so I'll just drop my faves.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Congrats if you made it this far!

i keep meaning to write down my thoughts about fashion dreamer and just not feeling like it
But anyway: It's fun, I enjoy it, I have an embarrassingly high number of hours in it. There's something to be said for the "sandbox" nature of it all, and I really do like making outfits for and being dressed up by real people, as well as being able to download and use others' clothes. You're not limited by stock/inventory/customer requests a la Style Savvy. I can't even count how many fucking times I had to do that toothpaste hairstyle request in Fashion Forward, so many white side ponytails wandering my town... I also really like that you can have and save four muses.
That said, there's downsides. The gameplay ends up being limited without any of those options, and it's a shame that you can't change others' hair/makeup. I'm glad that the NPCs are still very silly, although I don't think they quite capture that just...slightly unnerving bizarreness of Style Savvy ones lol, maybe because they're more like cartoon characters. I'm okay with all this, since it's a different game with a different goal -- the thing that bugs me is that aspects of the dressup have become limited. Way fewer options for layering tops compared to SS, no separate neckwear/bracelets, no bags, no nails. In a sandbox game, you feel those changes. Fewer clothing items in exchange for full customization makes sense to me, but taking out entire categories feels super limiting and it's really a shame. I also, as always, wish the clothes were unisex and that there were more body type options -- both of these are improved from SS but still nowhere near what I would like. There's lots of gorgeous clothes and outfits, but it feels harder to put together something that's your own, even with the customization.
And of course, idk how much longevity the game has, since one day the servers will be gone and then there won't be much game left. Finally, it's buggy/laggy/crashy...which is true of almost every switch game I've gotten in the last three years or so, but I'm still not happy about it.
I do think the updates have significantly improved if not totally fixed the game. Gacha sucks less, color sorting, other little tweaks that make things a lot smoother. The fairs and their completely over-the-top outfits are fun too, and I've seen datamined clothes that I can't wait to have from the last few updates.
Anyway yeah, it's not really style savvy 5, but it's a good dress-up game option for switch and I'm happy about that.

Hello! I would like you to play matchmaker with me and ship me with someone of the outsiders, please? <333
I'm an average heighted female with pale skin (literally it looks like fucking milk even in summer😭). I have long wavy dark brown hair that is somehow always messy. My eyes are a mix between grey, green and blue and nobody (not even me) can make out their exact colour for the life of theirs since it seems like they are changing colour (from lightning, etc) at every second. I am very fond of the coquette style of clothing, I'm an hyperfeminine girly that loves to dress like the doll she feels like she is. I'm talking full on short white lacy skirts with red heart-shaped sunglasses, cherry lipstick and pink tops with a white ribbon on my hair!
Moving onto my personality; I'm a very sweet girl, I'm the literal mom friend of every friend group I've ever been in. I never shy away from complimenting anything and everything about a person, someone got a new shirt today? "oh my god, that looks so good on you!", someone is trying a new hobby "that's great! tell me all about it!", someone tried a new hairstyle? "you look utterly gorgeous/handsome!"
I consider myself as a very touchy person, I like to hold hands, hang onto someone's arm, legs/shoes touching while sitting, hugs (a lot of hugs) and cuddling! I love cuddling! /all of this both with platonic friends and romantic partners. Though I will back off and tone it down if someone's uncomfortable with so much physicall or verbal affection and resort to gift-giving (hand-made trinkets or small things that reminded me of that certain someone, etc) as love-language. I am a very sensitive gal when it cames to being gifted something, I will fr tear up 😭. I literally cherish every little thing that my friends give me, even if it's a fucking bubble gum wrap paper, it's getting a spot in my 'memory box' lmao.
I laugh at almost everything, and I consider myself pretty much easy-going, I'm okay with every and any kind of plan as long as it's with my friends. Even if I'm sweet and have literally no idea how to even throw a punch, if someone tries to mess with my loved ones you bet your ass I'm gonna throw myself at them and try and do as much damage as I can, even if I end up with my face all bloodied and pretty much more hurt than the one I was trying to hurt 😭 (i just love my friends that much). BTW IM SO SORRY IF THIS IS TOO MUCH TEXT LIKE LITERALLY SORRY AND I HOPE UR HAVING THE GREATEST DAY 😭
No, I actually prefer whenever people provide more information as this allows me to do a deeper analysis of which character and you I think would be great together!!! And I am having a mediocre day, but thank you for wishing me the best!!! Also personality wise. I just think that I’m the sassy gay version of you like if someone gets a new shirt that I think looks good. I’m gonna be like a bitch. You’re literally slaying that respect towards you. We love people who complement people. also I think we’re literally the same person because I have such pale skin. My friends call me vampire and I have to do like the whitest shade of foundation ever and every time I go into a Sephora it’s like they’re shaming me and I also have color changing eyes, and I never know what to say on those quizzes that are like what color are your eyes because I’m like I don’t have a mirror on me. How am I supposed to know?
Your outsiders ship: Sodapop Curtis
(I like Soda and Dallas with you for different reasons I think that soda pop and you would have the healthier more beneficial relationship and more realistic, but the enemies to lovers tension between you and Dallas Winston is like SKEPS HAJANSNS)
Tumblr media
Explanation: starting off with your physical appearance, I think that he would be incredibly attracted to you as you’re one of the girls that he would typically like. He thinks your eyes and hair are both really gorgeous and he loves the fact that they color change for your aesthetic. I think that he also really loves it and it’s one of the things that made you stand out to him as a person. Out of all the greasers, he’s definitely the one that embraces his femininity the most, and brilliant admires anyone who does so the same I mean, I think his favorite nickname or one of his favorite nicknames to be called is definitely pretty boy because he knows he’s pretty he flaunts it and you can’t tell me he doesn’t. Personality wise I think you guys are pretty similar and I think he loves the fact that you just go up to people and complement them whenever you have something to say and it’s not fake either you don’t do it to do it you just do it because you genuinely feel like they deserve a compliment and you wanna lighten their world in that way and I think that he incredibly admirable and admirable. He’s also a very touchy and cuddly guy, and I think that he would constantly want to have his hands on you someway he’s not necessarily clingy, but I think if you were standing nearby him, he would want to have his hands on you, whether that be just you know, linking pinkies or full on grabbing his arm around your shoulders, I think he loves physical touch. As for you and your sensitivity to giftgiving, I think he would absolutely love that because he can’t give you a surplus of gifts due to the fact he doesn’t come from a stable financial household so I think that he would give you one very well thought out gift and found out that we weren’t mad that he couldn’t give you something more expensive or nice or something or just more. due to you not being able to fight too well I think he would be extremely overprotective of you and he would absolutely beat someone up for you if you wanted, but he would always make sure to check in with you and not be overly aggressive when he doesn’t know the full situation. I SHIP THIS SO HARD 💚💚💚💚

Hello gorgeous person,
Thank you very much for all your advices, your time and energy. It's rare to find a woman sharing with so much generosity her "woman's tips". Like it's always a secret or something, so thank you :).
However I feel sometimes a little bit sad because I sometimes not recognize myself through the pictures you're sharing. They are beautiful ofc. But as a curvy woman with bulge, cellulite and an unconventional body, sometimes I feel like I'm not able to aim the "femme fatale vibe"... I say this without any hatred, I'm just wondering :
- do you have any recommendation to feel powerful, sexy and mysterious with my extra weight ?
- I'm thinking of Ashley Graham who is stunning but i feel like she's an exception...
- how can I BE confident with my body and other gaze's ? (for e.g. my buttom is pretty flat but I have curves so I don't know how to conciliate both. I find it incompatible)
- an other example are kids saying to me that my head doesn't fit my body 🙃 my father told me that I'm really fat but beautiful.. So it's hard to handle.
I gain a lot of weight these last years due to a very complicated relationship, and a burn-out. So now I'm moving on from the guy and I will try to accept myself and make the efforts I have to do, but meanwhile I hope you can help me to accept myself the way I'm curvy am, and to be alluring anyways.
I must confess that it wasn't easy to contact you, but I think about it for a while now.
Thank you very much, and sorry if there are some mistakes, I'm absolutely not an English speaker !
Thank you very very much for everything.
Hi love! Thank you for your kind message and support. It truly means a lot <3. I'm so glad to hear this sentiment about my blog – I believe that we as women are conditioned to secrecy both as a way to shame our womanhood and, more covertly, to keep these "secrets" to ourselves, so we are more "sought-after" in the "competition" to be "chosen" by a man. This underlying secrecy and one-upping culture we're conditioned to buy into as women reeks of the patriarchy, so I'm more than happy to play in dismantling this toxic societial mentality. There's plenty of self-confidence and success to go around for all of us in my book!
I totally get your sentiment. The inspiration I reshare here is just that – inspiration for things to admire and tailor to our unique preferences, lifestyles, bodies, environments, etc. if we so choose to. I believe that we all can embody the "femme fatale" aesthetic – by dressing and putting ourselves together in a way that makes us feel our best /most taken care of, exploring and sharing all of the amazing ways we can derive pleasure from our bodies (through fashion, health & wellness practices, healthy lifestyle choices, sexual pleasure, etc.).
I think that these are some helpful tips to feel more powerful and sexy at any size:
Learn how to dress for your body and tailor it to your personal style – consider whether you have a longer or shorter torso/legs, which are the widest and narrowest parts of your body? What shapes best flatter your figure and in what combinations (e.g. flowy on top, narrow on the bottom, vice versa, or a more flowy/tight ensemble that emphasizes your waist, shoulders, or legs?)
When it doubt, choose black clothing or garments in darker, vampy hues, and select fabrics that are thick and well-tailored/structured or very forgiving fabrics that glide over your curves (like satin)
Pamper your skin, hair, and curate a beauty routine that makes you smile every time you look in the mirror (makeup, hairstyle, nail color/shape, perfume, etc.)
Create habits that help you feel your best in your body – eating healthy and exercising daily purely for energy and mental clarity, indulgent showers, beauty routines, and massages, cultivating a satisfying self-pleasure/sexual practice, creating an environment that heightens your sensory pleasure – wearing a satin robe, cozy blankets, delicious smelling lotions, room sprays, etc.
Not feeling comfortable in your body after gaining weight is completely normal, so validate these emotions if you're dealing with some cognitive dissonance between your mind and body in this regard. You've been through a lot mentally, so it makes sense that some signs of this mental exhaustion would show in your body. Glad you're making space and devoting energy to move toward healing.
Always remember though, being hot is a mindset – it is never weight-dependent (my friend actually said this again to me as a reminder the other day, and I loved the sentiment, so I thought I would share it here).
Sending love xx

You're so right abour post-canon not utilizing narrative structure bc i remember when ult dirk addressed the audience for the first time which was supposed to be The Revelation ig and i just kinda sat there like oh it's orange now i hate this color but back when cascade happened and video became Wide i freaked out so bad i thought i was hallucinating
not only is it a failure of the narrative, but it's a failure of utilizing the medium itself, and you are SO right dude because like. I also remember seeing Cascade for the first time and not only did it completely change the site itself, but it was a culmination of so many plot points and threads weaving together against a gorgeous score that blew everything before it out of the water. it was a Natural Escalation of what Hussie had been playing with up until that point.
the thing with Ult-Dirk's big Text Revelation is that it isn't really much of an escalation at all metatextually, is it? like the framing device of homestuck has always been to shift POVs from character to character. you could say that Ult-Dirk having more narrative-altering powers Could be an escalation but I posit that it isn't because like. even from the start of the comic, we see the characters fucking with and breaking narrative structures all the time.
Dave cutting his name text box with a katana. Callie (or Gamzee, I don't remember which) giving the trickster lolly which Also alters the webpage into a neon nightmare. Doc Scratch's text being white, making him blend into the comic itself, and also oh wait there's an entire section of the comic where he controls the arrow commands. Characters literally say No to narrative commands all the time in Homestuck.
Ult-Dirk taking control of the narrative in Homestuck just. isn't all that impressive, in the grand scheme of things. which is a shame, because there Are Ways to make 'the text itself is a living structure you can control' really fascinating, and it just Isn't Done.

2023 Gunpla Recap
I built a lot of Gunpla in 2023! Some of that is because I was unemployed for a month and a half and some of that is because I don't spend a ton of time on each kit. I like gunpla because I can usually build something nice in an afternoon. So without further ado...
Tumblr media
RG RX-93ff Nu Gundam
My first build of the year but I didn't "finish" it until I got the Double Fin Funnel expansion set later. While I'm not a big fan of the Nu, I did want to own at least one kit of it, and was intrigued by the ff with it's classic tri-color color scheme. The giant funnel is a little goofy, but the kit itself is fantastic.
Tumblr media
RG Tallgeese III
This kit looks fantastic but I hated nearly every minute building it.
Tumblr media
MG Char's Z'Gok
Of all the Z'Gok's I've built, this one is my favorite. It's a shame the box got absolutely destroyed during shipping.
Tumblr media
HG Gundam Aerial
I couldn't get ahold of an Aerial until after S1 ended. Great kit, but those reverse stickers are a nightmare.
Tumblr media
MG Dozle Zabi's Custom Zaku II
This is technically the Dozle Zabi P-Bandai kit, but I really got it as an excuse to build my own custom Zaku II (Teal/black being my favorite color combo and MORE SPIKES!) I haven't finished it yet though.
Tumblr media
SD Xiao Qiao GN Archer
I love the Gundam Artemie/GN Archer, tho I'm not a big fan of the Sangoku SD kits. I mostly bought this for my wife, who loves it.
Tumblr media
HG Hashmal
The Hasmal is so cool, I'm glad I was finally able to snag one. I kinda gave up once I got to the Pluma though.
Tumblr media
HG Demi-Trainer (Holder Custom)
The first kit I ever fully painted, and it shows. Still more or less happy how it turned out, although I forgot to mask the visor when I top coated it x.x
Tumblr media
HG Gundam TR-6 [Woundwort] Psycho Blade Custom
My 2nd Woundwort, I had to get it for the fancy V-Fin. I don't like it as much as the original Woundwort though, it definitely loses something in all black.
Tumblr media
HG Gundam Aerial Rebuild
I built this at a time when I was seriously considering abandoning the HG line because how much I'd grown to dislike the builds. But this kit was so amazing it rekindled my interest in HGs. I highly recommend it.
Tumblr media
MGSD Freedom Gundam
This may be one of my favorite kits this year. Absolutely amazing build with zero stickers. It felt great to assemble, feels great to hold and looks amazing. I hope the MGSD line sticks around because this one was GREAT!
Tumblr media
RG Destiny Impulse Gundam
Definitely knew I had to have this one as soon as I saw it. Destiny Impulse is a favorite of mine and it's glorious in kit form. The colors are gorgeous.
Tumblr media
FRS Suletta Mercury & Miorine Rembran
Two for one! I had to keep Sulemio together. These were my first FRS kits (poseable figures usually aren't my thing) and they're...okay? I was actually surprised by how much effort the Suletta kit required with it's uniform stickers, and the waterslide decals for the eyes on both were a nightmare. I have the normal uniform Suletta on pre-order, but I'm not in a hurry to build another one.
Tumblr media
FM Gundam Aerial (Permet Score Six)
Oh, what a wonderful build. It's not quite a MG on the inside, but it absolutely looks the part on the outside. I painted the shell units blue for that Score Six look, although it doesn't pop as much as I'd like. I hope this line continues.
Tumblr media
MG Testament Gundam
The Testament has been a favorite of mine for a long time, so this was a grail kit for me. I wish it was molded in the original white instead of red (and the build was kind of bad), but this kit looks fantastic!
Tumblr media
MG Re-GZ Custom
Much like I wanted to build at least 1 Nu Gundam, I also wanted to build at least one Zeta Gundam. I'm not enough of a fan of the Zeta to buy it, but the Re-GZ Custom is IMO the coolest of the Zeta line, especially with the AK-47 Beam rifle.
Tumblr media
HG Gundam Calibarn
The Calibarn is now my favorite Gundam, and I love this kit. However, it does require a lot of stickers (the broom thrusters are AWFUL) and/or detail painting to get complete color accuracy, which makes it a little bit of a tedious build, IMO.
Tumblr media
HG Demi-Barding
From here on out it's all G-Witch (for a very specific reason). The Barding may have been criminally underutilized in the show, but the kit itself is great! Mind you, it's basically the Demi-Trainer build with a new trim and a fancy backpack.
Tumblr media
HG Gundam Pharact
This kit made me fall in love with the Pharact itself, what a great design. Those C Clips are absolutely terrifying though.
Tumblr media
HG Gundam Schwarzette
Perhaps my favorite HG kit ever. It's a fun and easy build, looks great with minimal effort, and those thick stickers for the sword are so satisfying to apply. This kit comes with my highest recommendation.
Tumblr media
HG Gundam Aerial (Permet Score Six)
I definitely prefer this over the retail Aerial. It still has those reverse stickers, but the glitter effect on the shell unit covers really makes them pop (please do one like this for Calibarn, Bandai).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
HG Gundam Excalibarn
My goal was to create a Gundam that used the Aerial's Escutcheon shield, the Schwarzette's Guardian sword and the Calibarn's broom rifle. It's not 100% finished yet, but I'm satisfied with how it's come out so far.
Tumblr media
HG Gundam Lfrith Ur
Solid kit, love the teal armor, hate all the sanding.
Tumblr media
HG Gundam Lfrith Thorn
Ugly as sin, yet it keeps growing on me over time. More horible sanding, but I want to kitbash it with the Ur someday.

Idk if you already did this but do you have heaven/hell dip headcanons because id die to read some😩🤌
I think I have done a few, but I can definitely expand on them!
(AHH SO SORRY THS HAS TAKEN ME SO LONG TO ANSWER FINALES HAVE KEPT ME BUSY but anyway-)
-Going with the idea that if Damien was locked out of Heaven & Pip was locked in, they would try everything in their power to get to each other (Damien more so, as Pip is a more compliant individual, especially when it comes to a higher authority). They eventually find a little in-between spot where they can meet secretly, but there's some sort of invisible barrier keeping the two separated from each other physically. What they wouldn't do to wrap the other in a tight embrace & never let go.
-If they weren't bound to their respective realms, they would definitely spend more time in Hell overall, as Damien absolutely despises Heaven while Pip mildly tolerates it; he appreciates that everyone there is so nice, but even he gets sick of it after a while. While Hell is a more dangerous place to be, no one is going to mess with the partner of the antichrist. (plus Satan LOVES having Pip over)
-Something that I think isn't talked about nearly enough is the concept of wings. I like to think Damien would be absolutely fascinated by the contrast of what he commonly sees; light & feathery rather than dark & leathery. When Damien first encounters Pip with his new wings, they spend hours learning about them through a hands-on approach. They find that what feathers are out are extremely soft & a strikingly vivid white. They also notice a few pin feathers, which with the go-ahead, the demon slowly breaks away & preens them. Pip's new wings are extremely sensitive, so he's jumpy the entire time, but in a more excited than nervous way.
-Another fun thing that can be done with feathered wings is dyeing them as one would dye hair. I can't really see Pip being super interested in it at first, but he may experiment with some color one day.
-Regardless if he ever dyes them on his own or not, some feathers towards the bottom do start to take on an ashy-grey hue since he's going to Hell so often. It's like his body is reacting to his environments & is acting accordingly. This coloring doesn't leave if he spends less time in Hell, however; they are stained that color. They become darker & the color moves further up the more time he spends in Hell. I like to think at some point down the road, his wings would have a reverse-ombre grey color; lightest at the top, darkest at the bottom, 'till they're nearly black. Damien loves this & thinks they're gorgeous.
-Damien would eventually sport his own pair of black leathery wings & golden horns not unlike his father's. I like to think that while he's still a button buck, he likes to headbutt smaller demons (& sometimes Pip), but every time he's doing this, somehow, Satan catches him doing it, & eventually the scolding's don't work & he's forced to wear the "pool noodles of shame" (inspired by the one piece by honeycreek), which are just 2 pool noodles cut down to size to fit over his horns so he can't headbutt people anymore.
-Once their wings get strong enough, the pair likes to go practice flying together. It obviously takes them both a while, but they eventually get the hang of it. Damien learns faster, since he's seen flying beings as he's grown up, while to Pip it's all new territory to him.
This was so fun to write, I love heaven/hell dip! Thank you so much for the ask, anon! (& sorry once again that it took a while to get to this one)
(& if you have any dip or Satan headcanon requests, my askbox is open!)

Is it actually shame if they enjoyed it? Noita watched as Amara worked on his tie. Sure, Amara was always a treat for the eyes. But could this be considered a feast? Perhaps there was some credence to the appeal of dressing up.
There was something about the fit and coloring that added to Amara’s figure. A bit of mystique if you will as to what hid underneath…even if they knew. How his vest accentuated his chest yet concealed that mark that they knew would have him writhe under. Oh how they wanted to untuck that tie and pull him around and close to them. How it hid away the buttons that kept it all contained.
They watched as his braid swayed while he made adjustments. It made an orderly and yet melding display of the lovely hair that stood out to them the first time they met. Yet they thought of how unkempt that braid would become from tugging and hands that longed to tangle in them. Yes, the appeal really was this package all brought together…and just how they could get it all off.
As they pondered the hows in their head, Amara looked up in the mirror. His gaze met the reflected one of them staring back. Amusement plain on their features as they remarked, “I do so hope that the grounds have space for all sorts of revelries. Because I would find it such a shame to not be able to indulge in you amongst such festivities, my love.”

A fae party! When Noita had first mentioned the invitation to him, Amara could barely contain his excitement. He had encountered a fae here and there throughout this lifetime, but it was one thing to meet one of the fae folk by chance, and another thing entirely to receive an invitation from their king to their land. Had he not been assured in his songbird’s patience for him, he might have worried that he was getting on his partner’s last nerves with every question he threw their way ever since about anything their knew of Seelie from their work with the Bastion.
Noita may not have been as excited for the event as he was, but still the man couldn’t help the spark of excitement in him as he put the finishing touches on his outfit. It wasn’t often that he had to wear formal clothes, or....at all, ever. The fit of the suit was admittedly unfamiliar, but the moment that Amara had laid his eyes on Noita, he knew he would wear an uncomfortable suit a million times over if it allowed him the chance to soak in the sight of his beloved dressed in so much finery.
He actually...had to keep from looking at Noita too much, otherwise he’d want to either launch into another barrage of gushing compliments, or figure out the best way to remove only the necessary pieces in whatever way was the quickest path to having his songbird laid out beautifully beneath him.
Neither would help them get to the designated meeting spot on time. And the latter would definitely ruffle Noita’s carefully-put together outfit, which was just as out of the question.
So Amara resolved to stay as focused as he could, and maybe while focusing a little too much on hoping that his tie was straight, he caught sight of the other’s red-lined and steady gaze in the mirror. And the look....his hand nearly tightened the tie in a way that almost choked him, which would have been a little embarrassing.
He definitely accidentally choked himself a little with what they next said. Amara cleared his throat (while loosening his tie from its chokehold in a way he hoped they didn’t notice (they probably definitely did)) and fought the touch of warmth that threatened to enter his cheeks as he smiled at Noita through the mirror.
“You’re supposed to be there on business, aren’t you? Besides, you look so gorgeous in that outfit, I’d hate to mess any of it up.”

good morning!! i took a big chunk of the day off for liz's last day and we are going to take a mini road trip out to the north cascades national park to see some NATURE. she leaves very late tonight and then i have lightly busy workdays tues/wed followed by an easy day thurs before my friend kristin arrives thursday night. kristin is here till sunday evening so more adventuring etc which will be good for me. I just learned that we get next monday off for columbus day and I almost wept with joy. I was actually thinking about requesting that day off so I could enjoy a day of Complete & Utter Solitude to mark the end of friend/family visits. but now I can just do it for free!!
ok just gonna think aloud a little before i log off for the day... here are the house things that i have left to do.
this week:
finish painting dayroom (in this color)
do a second coat of white on stairwell wall
buy more potting soil
transfer one of my pothos plants to wall planter
install wall planter on stairwell wall
measure and buy wood pallet to raise up dresser
potentially buy crates for plant corner
experiment with hanging art on stairwell wall
put together IKEA bookshelves and unpack books (FINALLY)
take everything off standing desk and fix broken motor
longer-term projects and purchases (for when i am not weary and broke as hell):
BEDROOM: paint bedroom, put up art or photos, get new headboard, get new nightstand
DAYROOM: this is kind of a junk storage room now with a workstation set up in the middle but that's a shame because it's such a lovely big room that gets gorgeous light all day long. i need to do some thinking about what i want to do with the space. i definitely think this could be a Plant Room because it's the best light in the house. but i also just hmm need to think about what i want the room to feel like and what i'd like to use it for outside of the workday... like i want to do a lot of writing in here ideally so i need to think about what kind of space would best facilitate that
LAUNDRY ROOM: sand and paint pantry shelves, wallpaper back of shelves, get some better organizational stuff for pantry
LITTLE LIBRARY: sand and paint bookshelves, wallpaper back of shelves, get a circular rug, put up art
HALF BATH: this is lowest priority right now but i do want to paint and put up art... if i end up staying for a while i also want to put down peel and stick tile
KITCHEN: put up peel and stick backsplash, sand and paint chairs, potentially put up wall planters
LIVING ROOM: buy TV console and/or shoe rack, figure out plant corner, install curtain brackets and hang curtains, touch up paint from old curtain brackets, swap out that one lamp

Canada is known as the best country in the world by many tourists around the globe. If you haven't visited this wonderful country, you should definitely consider doing it! With gorgeous scenery, friendly locals, and delicious food, Canada truly does have something for everyone! For visiting Canada, you can take the help of Best Canada Tourist Visa Consultants in Delhi. In fact, there are countless reasons why tourists love visiting Canada! This article will tell you all about them.
Side of Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls borders New York and Canada; both sides of Niagara Falls offer different travel experiences. The Canadian side is most famous and popular, where you can ride a glass-bottom boat beneath one of North America's mightiest waterfalls, plus take in breathtaking views of Niagara Falls from observation towers at Table Rock. While you can't get as close to American Falls on the American side, there are attractions like Journey Behind the Falls (just don't forget your poncho) that give you a unique perspective of both falls. Take your pick, or make time to see them both!
Friendly people with amazing wildlife
Canadians are friendly people. Some of them might be from different parts of the world (and therefore look different than you), but that doesn't make them any less kind or friendly. And their wildlife is amazing! You can see animals that are incredibly rare in other parts of North America, and it's all because of Canada's wildlife conservation efforts. Canada may not be huge, but it has a lot to offer to those who visit. It's like a little slice of Europe right in North America. Can there really be anything more exciting than that?
Colorful neighborhoods and festivals
Colourful neighborhoods and festivals are some of Canada's greatest tourist draws. Each city has its own unique neighborhoods and festivals that allow locals and visitors alike to express their interests, beliefs, and feelings while coming together as a community. For example, Toronto's Art Crawl neighborhood allows you to walk around local galleries or shop at locally owned stores; in contrast, Montreal's Old Port neighborhood provides you with large waterfront parks where everyone can come together. When it comes time for a festival, there are tons of colorful celebrations happening all over Canada every month of every year.
From coast to coast to coast
Canada, one of the world's biggest and best countries, has coastlines on three different oceans: the Atlantic (including the Bay of Fundy), the Pacific, and the Arctic. This means it's an international traveller's dream come true: Canada actually boasts more coastline than all other countries combined! So whether you want to get away to an isolated place or explore many different locations at once, Canada has you covered. And coast-to-coast travel isn't just about beaches and fishing trips; here are a few things to expect on your trip across Canada.
Canada is a great place for road trips.
While there are always a ton of Canadians hitting up their country's capital city of Ottawa and making it a point to hit up its prime attractions like Parliament Hill and Rideau Canal, there's no shame in flying right past them. Ottawa is a great place for road trips — especially if you want some nice nature time.
Canadian food is delish!
According to TripAdvisor, Canadians love trying new things, and food is no exception. The country's multiculturalism is evident when it comes to Canadian cuisine; you can find food from around the world in Canada. In fact, per capita, Canada is one of the top food exporters in the world. The country has a rich history of agriculture (with wheat being one of its main exports) which made it easy for early settlers to integrate foreign foods like carrots into their diet.
Conclusion
Canada grants tourists access to almost every sector of its economy. Canada's citizens enjoy a high quality of life and friendly attitude that's hard to beat, which makes it an ideal destination for tourists from all over the world. If you are planning a trip, remember that you do need a tourist visa in order to enter Canada. For visa, you can contact Mindmine Global as a Canada Tourist Visa Consultant.
