Which mike once again saw as will seeing through mike and he panicked, feeling the need to clarify that theyre just friends and wont be more, wills follow up shows hes more upset mike doesnt treat him like theyre best friends than the idea of them dating, wills already accepted the idea that mike doesnt like him the way he likes mike

The letters isnt because mike didnt want to talk to will, he most definitely tried (sitting by the phone and whining about joyce being on the phone all the time making it busy) but its because EVERYONE in hawkins knows who will is and theyll hear about it him growing up, hes the boy who was dead for a week and came back literally all over the newspapers as "zombie boy"

Taiki gazed at him for a moment before shaking his head 'no'.

"I- Look, Taiki." Shoutmon sighed as he sat in front of the him. "You're a tough guy, someone that cares a lot, that people could rely one. I've seen that first hand, and so have others."

"And we all appreciate that." He grins fondly. "We really do."

"However, that doesn't mean you need to carry your burdens alone." The dragon then gently places a hand on his shoulder.

"As Xros Heart, you've relied on us when it comes to the Bagra Army. And now that they're gone, you could still rely on us, but not only as your army or comrades, but as your friends."

"We've already had the fate of our world's placed on our shoulders," Shoutmon smiles as he reached to ruffle his hair. "So what does it matter when it's now your brain being mean to you?"

Taiki stared at him dumbfoundedly before breaking into a hearty laugh, covering his face with his arms.

"W-when did you start getting this wise?" Taiki chuckled, peering out at the dragon. "I thought you're no good at that?"

"Eh, i'unno." He shrugged as he pulls his hand out of the boy's hair. "I suppose that's what being king does to ya." And in response Taiki laughed a little harder.

"But i really meant what i said, okay?" The dragon reminded. "If there's somethin' bugging you, we've got your back. Im sure Akari, Zenjirou, and the others share that sentiment too."

Taiki could only nod in confirmation as he sniffled and rubbed at his eyes, finally letting himself unfurl from his position.

Then suddenly, the boy reached out and hugged him. "Thank you." He muttered tearily.

hi is it possible to tell if there is a spirit attached to an item? I have bought to beautiful porcelean dolls off ebay, one supposedly haunted and the other was just a normal doll that I liked. I have a few other vintage items like a sewing machine and also a chair that my step grandpa had passed away on but again havent experienced anything remotely unusual :/

I had been reading about this and watching videos of youtubers who have "haunted" items, I dont know if I 100% believe it as I havent experienced anything paranormal bar a few times in my younger years but thats about it. Hmm okay. Let's start from the beginning: do you believe in spirituality? In the existance of a spirit world around you at this moment, guiding you and protecting you and all, or not? Cause it all starts from there imo. What I mean is: there's no really need to think about life after death, if there are already spirits/souls around you at this time in the 5d (which doesn't mean they cannot interact with you in the 3d)... or I am just seeing this differently from you? And I don't mean this in a way "I am wrong you are right" or viceversa, it's just about what you believe inside of you. We have no scientific proofs about this so it all is up to what each one of us believes. And maybe about our personal experiences too, and what reasons we give to those experiences (coincidences, fate, spirits...).

It also depends on your definition of paranormal. What is paranormal to you? Again, I think it depends on each of us and what we believe, that's why I am asking you. For me, a paranormal experience can just be thinking about a song I haven't been listening in ages and then having Spotify suddenly playing it for me; or flickering lights/my computer glitching around me when I channel something or my pendulum moving to give me answers; or smelling something specific... I could give you loads of examples. But maybe for you all this is not paranormal, this is just coincidences or electricity stuff or whatever else, and you only define paranormal an object moving with no one around. Or seeing a ghost, idk.

Now: the fact that you haven't experienced anything paranormal (according on your definition of paranormal -let's suppose is the second-) or only having had a couple of experiences in your life for you means that paranormal is not real or that can it be real anyway? Do you need to experience something (and also something specific like Idk that doll moving her eyes, or seeing your granpa on that chair, eg.) to affirm it can be possible or you can believe it anyway? Do you need to have constant displays or not? And of which kind they need to be (if you need them)?

After having analyzed all this, and decided if according to you there's a chance for spirits to exist at this time and act around you in any way (and what you can define paranormal), then you can go on and ask yourself if you can possibly believe that a spirit may be attached to an item (or if there's a chance for this to happen). I wouldn't trust that much youtubers on this (at least not all), cause you know when it comes to those entertainment platforms, people can make up things just to gain from views. And trust me if I say that many of those people can do anything in order to get as many views as possible and gain from others (and there are tricks too, in case they need to make a point). For what I believe and what I am getting, there's a chance for a spirit or someone's souls to be attached to an item. It doesn't have to be an old item though, it can also be recent. It depends both on the value it had for that soul during their 3d life, and also on if something (or someone) connected them to the item in any way. I personally don't like porcelain dolls, they make me very uncomfortable for the way they look, but it doesn't mean that all of them are haunted or possessed. And as for a way of saying with certainty if an item is possessed or not, it's probably best not to know, even more if it's not your grandpa's chair we're talking about but a random object you decided to buy online. You never know the nature of the spirit attached to them and why it got attached, if it got attached ofc (given that you believe in spirituality and what it is all about, ofc). So yeah, it depends on what you believe and what you want to believe too: nobody can say that you're stupid for believing in life after death or in the fact that a spirit is living in your doll. And just know that if anything is supposed to show up to you, it will anyway. It's just better to not force it.

i think why people are defensive about the word neutral is because especially on twitter people are saying they are neutral but also actively spreading misinformation/victim blaming rhetoric on top of it, and so there's this notion and active history of neutrality being used to sweep this under the rug entirely and hate on the victims which is not what youre doing at all but that's sort of the way i see the defensiveness come in.

But i also will say that from my perspective regardless of what happened which we dont know for sure dream did admit the dms were real and in those dms were inappropriate messages to people who were minors and also admission that the priv snapchat was given to said minors (amanda). I think yes its okay to stay open minded and wait for more information but i do believe theres at least enough solid ground that the behavior was inappropriate. Even dream called his behavior "cringe flirting" which i took as admission he recognized his messages were flirtatious and those people were minors, so that i find to be inappropriate.

This is not negative towards you just thought id offer some perspective and such i dont think youre a victim blaming hater im sorry people are misinterpreting what youre saying but i hope this perspective helps.

Back again! I read chapter 3 late at night and now i had to reread parts of it again to get my thoughts in order.

There's grief of suguru's absense of course and his lack of presence permeates throughout the chapter. which is fitting, because that's what grief is, the ghost that haunts you. god, and the fact that reader knows what their last true conversation was like. dropping all pretenses and letting suguru be close and to touch her because. it's the last time she'll ever see him as he was.

for how twisted she is, i really did pity her when shoko and gojo express without verbally saying so, that they love her. but that they also resent/fear/hate her (i put hate because they didn't SAY it but, that was definitely the vibe i was getting. there's some things that dont need to be put into words)

she could not change the outcome, but she could at least make it so it's favorable (To her and to Him). what a bitter pill to swallow

It's interesting to know that we get a bit of a confirmation that Reader does have limitations on her technique. there are some things, like her mother's death that cannot be changed no matter what outcome she tries to find. but that doesn't mean she doesnt have some leeway (her orchestrating and plucking to achieve Haibara's death)

but what gives me pause is when reader tells Suguru that she's always known that she will kill her father. But then, she had also said that there was a version somewhere where Gojo had already killed him before the wedding. Since her mother's death preceded her father's, does that mean her mother had already been murdered? so her fathers death is always followed by her mother's.

it felt like that was what the implication itself but i keep second guessing myself lol which makes sense for her inaction. there are futures that are less favorable, and most favorable. and reader chooses the outcomes that are most favorable to herself and gojo.

oh god and they got married. yeah, the higher-ups REALLY fucked up in letting that happen.

also i desperately wanna isolate the Gojo making reader promise him to put megumi and tsumiki before him and analyze the HELL out of it. because i felt something when i read it and i wanna bite my own ankles because i DONT know how to verbalize or express it. something happened here, and it felt really important. and also shifted my perspective on Gojo in Godmaker a bit.

It makes me think about Reader and Gojo's mother's conversation from earlier, and how Gojo's mother had said that her son had hurt her but she loved him regardless. I mean she's toxic as hell. but in a fucked up way, whether it's true or not, i think Gojo's mom believes that she has put Satoru above else.

And Reader had expressed that she loved Satoru. And she DOES put him above everyone else. But he's her husband, and not her child.

it's that age old question i suppose. Who do you prioritize as the most important person to you? Most people would answer, if they have one: their spouse. because marriage means they have chosen that person alone above all else to spend and share the rest of their lives together. (i mean i dont believe in marriage but gsjkgjks that's definitely the "Norm")

But it's different when you have kids. No one likes to make a choice like that. But most would answer that they would put their children first.

and what this tells me is that Gojo would choose megumi and Tsumiki over reader. It's not expressed as such because the focus is on reader, but the fact that he made her commit a Binding Vow feels telling. And he made her choose them, because deep down he knew between the kids and him...she would still choose him.

which does not help that reader immediately worries and thinks "oh but i planned so that that WOULDN'T happen....unless?" and tried reaching for her pendant. so reader saw a future where she HAD to make a choice. and she's done everything to achieve a future where she never had to make a choice at all.

idk where i was going with this initially but. idk i feel like something shifted my interpretation about reader and gojo. like it's a fundamental difference.

and then that talk at the end of being birthed anew. it feels like another fundamental shift has happened. Childhood is the final shackle holding reader down, and now, it's all gone. she's an adult now and she can no longer be held under the thumb of her father, or the clans.

nothing can stop her now. (haha, we're in danger)

you are exactly on the nose with a lot of this. there are a lot of different versions of the future that the reader sort of...parses through. its very tricky because if you select one option, it changes several others, etc. etc. she can pull strings, but she's gotta be horrendously careful of which ones. and sometimes she HAS to let some unfold, for other things to take place.

i think there is certainly resentment or hate that shoko and gojo have towards the reader. ig, how could you not? but i also think...shoko in particular, is willing to trust reader to do what is Best, even if it's hard. or i think she sorta...turns a blind eye to it in order to love the reader. gojo does not trust her like that lol well...he does trust her. but he knows what she's doing is not always Morally Best.

to your points about megumi and tsumiki...idk exactly when this story became about like...children, but it did somewhere. and i think also like what would you do for love? how far would you go? i think you're bringing up a lot of really good points of like...who do you prioritize? initially, i just wanted tsumiki and megumi to remain because i was following Canon. but then reader met them and kinda. took over. and decided they would mean more to her and make her contend with more than i initially planned. i think also there's an aspect of...her desire to appease gojo in there somewhere. she knows gojo loves megumi and tsumiki tremendously, so she will too. but now i will stop talking about this lest i reveal more lol

gojo knows more than he lets on. the reader has been pulling strings and making calculated moves but. gojo has been too. this was one of his–to make her give him a binding vow about the kids. i think the the interlude will reveal more.

reader has definitely done everything in order to not have to make that choice. and she will, in fact, continue to do more to ensure that lol

Hello asia! I'm going to title this essay "Why Boyfriends is about Louis - and that's okay!" by a friendly neighboorhood trans larrie. So let's give some background shall we? If you look at lyrics in the LCU (Larry Cinematic Universe) we can all see the main problem that has come up in their relationship: communication. I'll get into specific examples later but that's what it boils down to. As someone who has been here since 2012, I don't see anything in their lyrics to be about cheating, abuse, etc. So after a few listens of Boyfriends and reading the lyrics, I came to the conclusion that it's definitely about Louis and it's all about the lack of communication Harry felt he was getting during a difficult time. But what time, you may ask? Well, dear reader, in my humble opinion all their relationship troubles are not about cheating, feeling abused, break ups w.e angst wank people seem to think gay relationships can't get through like straight ones. No, imo it lies in a complicated mix of two big things: closeting, and Harry's gender identity. *for disclaimer purposes to cishets already offended by now: saying Harry is trans could mean a variety of things. His pronouns could be he/they/she but there is no denying that in the past 12 years of Harry bring in the spotlight, his relationship with gender is there and something that trans fans have picked up on, just like the gay ones who picked up on their relationship. This is just one person's interpretation of their songs so if you don't agree please ignore it. And be kind*

So, you might say, what do you mean, dear anon? Gender in the LCU? More likely than you think! I want to preface by saying that I analyze LCU songs on what I believe happened between them: they were feeling the restraints of their closet early on 2012-14 and were bad at communicating their feelings about it (Louis personality makes me think he's very much the "lets ignore our problems so we dont dwell on them" type man), but during all that Harry was also dealing with gender dysphoria and felt like Louis was shutting him out so he had no one to talk to. So when Harry finally opened up about it, Louis felt awful for not being there for him. Too Young reads as a big apology for all of that but I'll get back to that later. Take Walls and how its about Harry. Verse 1: "nothing wakes you up like waking up alone, and all thats left of us is a cupboard full of clothes" (very clearly referring to a closet with "us") "the day you walked away and took the higher ground was the day that I became the man that I am now". Now bear with me here: imo this entire intro is Louis describing their relationship as they deal with Harry's gender identity. Why? Because look at the word "higher ground". When do you go to higher ground? When flooding happens aka water disasters. Water, which has literary themes of rebirth when you emerge from it, is a big theme in Harry's music videos. Specifically with Falling with him underwater lamenting about his identity. He's drowning, feeling worthless, "what if I'm someone you won't talk about?". I believe Falling is about Harry feeling the lows of being trans, overthinking how it affects Louis, and the music video reflects that. Now back to Walls. The day Harry was able to escape the drowning (gender acceptance and euphoria) and take higher ground was the time Louis finally felt like they solved the worst of their communication issues and Louis could be "the man that I am now" in being an ultra supportive partner. The high walls Louis sings about is the way he used to box himself in from trying to deal with their problems (that he only thought was closeting but instead much deeper) but in the end they all came "falling" (*pointed stare*) down for Harry. Thats why he laments about "hurting who you love and no amount of words would ever be enough" when its literally the love of his life "you were my because". Louis has always been supportive of the trans community so I think he was kicking himself for a long time for not noticing what was happening with Harry. That's why the "thank yous" are so bittersweet. It was a painful but necessary wakeup call of not being there for his partner but they both grew from it. Perfect Now was born out of Louis giving Harry gender affirmations. Always You and We Made It are celebrating that they got through it together. But what about Too Young and Defenceless? Fear not! Because this is how they tie into Boyfriends. (2)

Boyfriends reads as Harry feeling unsupported Louis. In fact, think of it as Harry talking to a mirror about his problems after a hard day. Verse 1: "boyfriends, they think you're so easy, they take you for granted" The you is himself of course. Because of the lack of communication in their relationship, Harry felt like Louis wasn't paying attention to him. "They don't know they're misunderstanding you". This line speaks volumes to me. When you use "misunderstanding" it means that someone isn't understanding you correctly. But the boyfriend does not know that he's not understanding Harry correctly, right? Sound familiar to past themes in songs? As stated before Too Young feels like a big apology song by Louis for not being there for him. "I wish I could've seen it all along" stands as a mirror to the misunderstanding line. "I'm sorry that I hurt you darling" again for all the pain the lack of communication caused and not being there for Harry. And the rest of Too Young follows this apology theme that answers Boyfriends. The last line of the verse ends with "you, you're back at it again" and means Harry realizes the way the problem keeps coming back and he's just back to crying about it without solving it. (3)

Next verse goes "weekend, when you get deep in" could talk about how they both aren't working at the end of the week and Harry has time to get lost in his thoughts ( reminds me of "harry you're no good alone" from As It Was). "He starts secretly drinking, it gets hard to know what he's thinking" = Louis drinking with his lad friends where he's able to vent about their problems, but Harry wouldn't know about what they're saying because Louis doesn't vent to him. "You love a fool who knows how to get under your skin" Harry lamenting that Louis isn't open about their problems and goes to talk to others instead of trying to solve it themselves (Imo Defenceless tells Louis side of the story to Boyfriends with nod to "sleeping on our problems like we'll solve them in our dreams" and feeling shut out by Harry too). "You, you, you still open the door" when Louis comes home yet still not talking about their problems and it eats him inside. Verse 3 goes "you're no closer to him, now you're halfway home, only calling you in, don't wanna be alone, no and you go, why? You don't know". Again the theme of Harry not wanting to be alone, yet not feeling close to Louis, and questioning why he still goes through with it. Harry also sings is as "half way home" like the space in between that's just like the song Louis registered. I wouldn't be surprised if Louis Half Way Home song will have the miscommunication theme too. Verse 4: "Boyfriends, are they just pretending? They don't tell you where it's heading" and this reads like Harry feels as if Louis is just pretending to care for him at that point, and questions what's going to happen to their relationship. "And you know the games never ending, you, you lay with him as you stay in a daydream" and time for a "she" throwback! At this point everyone must know that She is all about Harry's gender journey. "She lives in daydreams with me" is a clear reference to this daydream line. Harry truly feels himself in those daydreams that Louis doesn't know about. And someone might listen to "boyfriends" and think "well why doesn't Harry just tell him?". If it was only so simple. Harry being trans could have made him scared of what that meant for his relationship with Louis. Would Louis break up with him? Would he look at him different? Would he not support him? Again this is the love of his life since he was 16. It can be incredibly scary to think Louis would leave him because he found his true self. It's very clear that Harry tends to think of worst case scenarios when he's hurting, and the fact he couldn't talk with Louis openly added onto those fears. They were already having problems because of what their closet put them through, so imagine Harry thinking it would be worse with a gender crisis. That's why he tells himself in the mirror "you're a fool, you're back at it again". It becomes a cycle of hurt once again as long as they don't talk. (4)

So now as this essay comes to an end, someone might ask "well who is to blame for their problems?". Let us not forget the real villain of the story: homophobia. The closet due to this gave them their biggest problems, and we can't even begin to cover what the homophobic world has done to gays mental health. Also Simon Cowell can burn. Now as for Harry and Louis? I think they both realized how bad their communication was and were able to solve it with each other. Louis tried to keep them happy in their closet by not talking about their problems caused by it, and while it was with good intentions, it ended up leaving Harry alone to deal with his gender identity. Harry's gender journey ended up (to no one's surprise) being fully supported by Louis once he knew, and it ended up making their relationship stronger. I believe Lights Up was born right after this, with the themes of "never going back" and the questions of "do you know who you are?" recurring about identity and feeling joy about finding yourself. Brisk air sent shivers down Technos arm as he stood on the balcony. Hed been standing there since he got the text from Y/n she was on her way back. His fingers were tapping the railing of the balcony impatiently.

Hes been patient, and hes hated every moment of it.

While she was gone, he paced for a while thinking of her. The he sat down staring at the ceiling, thinking of her, and then he paced some more, and thought some more. He did nothing really.

The whole five ish hours.

Five.

The entire five hours he was hyper analyzing every moment Y/n and wilbur had been together around him trying to think if she liked him or not.

He couldnt figure it out, because of his horrid memory but he definitely tried.

He wasnt sure how hed act if he had to see her with him. All the time. He didnt want her to be with him.

Techno was well aware he liked to ignore his feelings, especially when it involved the possibility of hurting his relationship with Y/n. But there was absolutely no way hed be able to stomach the idea of Y/n being with Wilbur in that way.

His stomach felt heavy as he heard Wilbur’s car pull into the driveway, and he anxiously waited to see Y/n make her way to the backyard.

Once he could see her, he smiled softly as she grinned up at him. He went back into the treehouse as she was making her way up.

“Techno!” Y/n burst into the room excitedly, quickly hugging Techno.

“Hey.” he gave a soft chuckle, returning the hug. “How was it? Did you have fun? Were they nice?” he questioned.

“It was so so so much fun!” Y/n pulled back to grin up at him.

“It was?” Techno was trying to sound happy that she had fun but he wasn't. He was hoping it was bad or awkward so she wouldn’t go again. Which now that he thought of it is really selfish..

She stared at him a moment, confused at why he sounded disappointed.

“Yeah..why do you look sad?” her head tilted in question.

He stared down at her, his gaze was soft but his frown was prominent. He traced her features with his eyes before he slowly pulled her to his chest. He wrapped his arms around her shoulders, hugging her tightly. His cheek was pressed against the top of her head.

Y/n slowly wrapped her arms around his middle, “Techno-”

“Shh just...Just shut up.” he murmured.

They stayed this way for a little while. The cold dewy night air clinging to their clothes and hair. Techno didn't want to ask her what she did or if they were nice, he didn't want to know any more about all the fun she had with wilbur.

“Can we go sit down?” Techno murmured into her hair.

Y/n pulled away from his chest to look up at him, she gave him a nod.

Reluctantly he let go of her and let her pull him into the treehouse to sit on the floor with him. He watched her sit then gesture to the spot in front of her. He pouted more, wanting to sit closer than that. Y/n noticed his expression and her shoulders fell, she sighed and opened her arms to him.

Techno slowly got to the floor and curled up in front of her with his head on her leg.

“I kinda missed you..” his tone was soft and he sounded almost hurt.

“Really?...” her hand was brushing his hair away from his forehead.

He waited a moment before he replied, “I was worried.”

“Why?” her hand was soft against his hair, he could tell she was trying to be extra gentle.

“Well you.. I didn't know what you were doing and…” he stumbled over his words. Techno hated vulnerability. He couldn't stand feeling weak.

He wasn’t one to talk of his feelings often, even with Y/n. He just wasnt good at it and he never felt the need to.

“And?” she murmured.

“I dunno…” he tried to shrug off the hint of a lie hidden in his tone. He avoided her gaze, he could tell he was worrying her and he hated to ruin her happy mood.

“Why are you so upset..” she wasn’t trying to pry or push him but she wanted to know why he was so upset.

Techno sat up straight to look at her. His eyes were soft but brave as if he were mentally trying to work himself up to say something.

“You were with Wilbur.” he had a childlike pout on his face.

“And?” she poked his leg and he grabbed her finger, holding it.

“Alone with Wilbur.” he stared at her hand, messing with a ring she was wearing on her pointer finger.

“I'm still not getting the point here..” Y/n kept her eyes on his even though he wasn't looking at her.

“Y/n..” he finally looked up at her. He was ashamed. He didn’t want to say it.

“Techno.”

“Please dont make me say it..” he was wincing slightly, holding her hand fully now.

“Say what Techno?” she slid her thumb over the back of his hand.

“I love you.” it was rushed and he instantly regretted it.

“I love you too but- whats that got to do with anything?” she tilted her head as Techno sighed and looked towards their hands again.

“I-.. nevermind.” of course she just thought he was saying it in a friend way! They do it all the time. He felt like an idiot.

“No id like to talk about this please.” she squeezed his hand.

“I just..Y/n..I love you more..Than just in a friend way.” his eyes were back on her, but he was looking at her brows, her nose, her cheeks. Anywhere but her eyes.

“Oh…” she said softly.

“Oh?..” he raised his brows.

“My statement still stands. I love you too.” she pulled apart their hands, moving his fingers around with hers. His heart swelled and he grinned. She barely said anything and his whole mood was flipped.

“Like?...” he leaned forward a bit, teasingly almost. Hearing her say it filled his ego and gave him some confidence. He wanted all of her praise and compliments.

“Yes Techno. Gosh you're dense.” she scoffed.

“How am I dense?!” he exclaimed, Him? Dense?

“Techno I..you..we kissed? And you- I-” she stuttered, a soft blush creeping up her cheeks.

“Oh right..” his soft smile was causing a similar one on Y/ns face as he stared at her for a moment.

“Yeah! Right!” she scoffed, a small airy laugh following.

Techno shook his head looking down, then back at her.

He felt happy and calm, but still nervous. There was a whole new air around them. Completely different. It was still comfortable and homey, but it was different.

“I know I’ve asked you this before..but I want to ask again.” he pulled her a tad closer.

She gave a soft nod as a response.

“Actually, come with me.” Techno stood, an arm extended down to her. She took his hand allowing him to pull her up. She was going to let go of her hand but he held hers tightly.

He pulled her out of the little door of the treehouse, and onto the balcony.

He pulled her to face him, only inches in front of him.

Y/n looked up, the clear sky full of stars above them.

Techno put his pointer and thumb on her chin, pulling it down to look at him.

“Hi.” she said softly, a nervous look in her eyes.

“Hi y/n..” he smiled softly, his heart melted at her mooney eyes.

“So you have a question?..” her small hand made its way to his forearm as his hand slid to her cheek. Not to pull his arm away, to hold it closer actually.

“I do..” he sighed softly before continuing, “You said you were before, but this time I really mean it when I ask,” he paused as he stared at her rosy cheeks under the moonlight.

“Are you mine?” his tone was soft but his words struck her deeply.

Her face felt warm and her brain felt almost fuzzy, his face was so close to hers.

She gave a small nod before she lunged forward a bit, taking him off guard as she pressed her lips to his.

His free arm wrapped around her middle as he hugged her to him.

There were no cliche sparks, but the kiss was somehow soft and sweet. He was surprised shed kissed him, but he wasnt complaining.

There was nothing steamy about the kiss, they simply held eachother, and they were gentle.

Techno was the first to pull away, his thumb brushing her strawberry tinted cheek softly.

He could faintly see the reflection of the stars in her eyes as she looked up at him, neither smiled nor laughed. But they didnt need to. They didnt need to express largely how ecstatic they both were to have expressed their shared feelings, they already knew.

Techno could tell by the slight jitter in her hands, and the way she was patiently waiting for him to say something first before she exploded or something. He was sure she was going to talk his ear off about it soon enough.

He just wanted to stare at her a little longer.

lighthearted rant abt why the galarian fossil pokemon shouldnt be alive!!/pos

ill go in dex order, dracozolt-arctozolt-dracovish-arctovish

dracozolt!! the combination of the bird and drake fossils, by far the LEAST fucked up of the galarian fossils, but it still has some clear issues to point out

after analyzing the living halves AND the fossils/descriptions you can pretty easily figure out what all 4 of the halves are roughly based after, the draco half causes some confusion but after the dex states that dracozolt is herbivorous, and the front half zolt clearly being a species of small feathered dromaeosaurid like raptors (possibly something like microraptor or archeaopteryx due to the bird fossils description stating it could fly, which no dromaeosaurs did but some were thought to glide!!) and those basically all being carnivorous, we can figure out draco is the herbivorous half, leading me to believe its some type of stegosaurid now, with a front half thats carnivorous and a back half thats herbivorous thats GOT to cause some issues, not getting proper nutrition, not having proper ways to digest certain things one half needs, etc, if we go with what the dex says (which the dex is CLEARLY not very reliable for these pokemon but lets just use it here) that its herbivorous the zolt half could be receiving malnutrition and having trouble eating the correct food the center of balance!

its probably thrown off by the obvious size difference and the fact that stegosaurids are quadrapeds, while dracozolt is a biped. if it falls over its pretty fucked but thats pretty normal for large theropods tbh

there could be some issues with body temperature, but im not sure, smaller things get colder faster and bigger things get hotter faster

thats all i have to say for dracozolt!!

Arctozolt

arctozolt is the combination of the dino and bird fossils and was my first galar fossil! theyve got some VERY clear issues and a few less clear ones to address, but they are Definitely not enjoying coming back from the dead 💖

first, what IS the arcto half? judging by what we can see i think its most likely to be a type of plesiosaur, it could also be some other aquatic reptiles like ichthyosaurs but i think plesiosaurs are more likely

arctozolt is. cold. duh, the freezing half of an ice type plesiosaur and a small dromeasaur is probably leaving lil zolt pretty chilly and uncomfortable, please give them a scarf

if you take a look back at dracozolt and compare to arctozolt, youll notice the upper torso and most of the arms are inside arctos? blubber? scales? one of those two! not only does this leave the hands nearly useless it also means that if the bones, muscle, flesh, etc, are still present it could definitely cause some health issues, including messing with organs

arctozolt is CLEARLY not supposed to be walking, a terrestrial animal was combined with an aquatic one to result in uh. broken flippers probably, aquatic animals can get VERY heavy and the flippers were clearly never designed to handle that weight, its likely highly uncomfortable to walk on them and probably causes many injuries including broken bones

Dracovish

oh FUCKING boy/lh the combination of the drake and fish fossils dracovish is a NIGHTMARE of a pokemon, a head on a tail, an aquatic creature combined with a terrestrial one, a carnivore combined with an herbivore, this is my least favorite galar fossil

firstly, whats the vish half? this is the only galarian fossil you can get an exact genus for, vish is almost certainly based of dunkleosteus, a prehistoric fish that had one FUCK of a jaw!

now, as stated above the picture dracovish has the same conflicting diet issue dracozolt has, draco being an herbivore and vish most likely being a carnivore like dunkleosteus, i wont go into too much detail because i already did with dracozolt

center of balance comes up once again, i dont think i need to elaborate much but with how it just. Is. theres no way this guy walks very straight, its also fucked if it falls just like dracozolt

dracovishs head is attached to its tail, that parts obvious, but this is CERTAINLY ***HIGHLY*** uncomfortable, stegosaurid tails should NOT be bent like that as well as just the effort it most likely takes to keep it up, also its head is upside down if it actually puts its tail back down, ALSO the spiky plates on dracos tail could very well harm itself if it gets too unlucky so.

dracovish has no throat unless cara liss decided to ACTUALLY put effort into these frankensteins monsters and put a throat in the tail theres no way it can uh. really do anything, eat, breathe air, drink water, yea

speaking of breathing!! does it? have lungs? the front half of draco being cut off could make it so theres no lungs, and vish most likely doesnt even have gills and if it DID have FUNCTIONING gills thatd bring up a whole NEW issue about how this thing CANT swim, no buts it just Cant

SPEAKING of it not having specific organs, does it have a HEART??? does it???? does it???????

arctovish is probably the normalest LOOKING of the galarian fossils, until you realise its. head is on upside down, the pokedex, although unreliable for these pokemon i have a reason to believe what it says here, states this:

it has "trouble eating its prey" and "breathing difficulties" caused by its flipped head

it could have issues similar to arctozolt because of the freezing ice type arcto, but i feel itd be better than arctozolts issues

so uhhh thats it! thats my whole ass essay on why the galarian fossils are in constant pain/cant Live!

hey i personally disagree with that take you made, but i know the context and im not upset or disappointed or going to bitch about it like a lot of others. youre human. youre not infallible. sometimes what you say may come across as bad and thats okay. you dont deserve to be dogpiled and harassed for it. every single person whos been on your ass has probably made mistakes like that before, mistakes that caused someone harm. youre not a bad person for it and im sorry that people are acting like you are.

also, the idea that broad, blanket statements like "some traumagens are endo" isn't fakeclaiming. you arent going up to someone and going "hey, youre not actually traumagenic youre endogenic". youre saying its probably possible for someone to be wrong about what they experience.

i dont share my syscourse takes publically, so im going to go with ones from the rest of the system. non-disordered plurals to us are not systems, system is a term specfically meant for DD plurality. but those experiences are still real even if we dont believe they should be compared. in the same way a singlet could believe they are a system before realising theyre wrong, a non-DD instance of plurality could believe that they have a DD. It could happen.

the only reason that agreeing with that ask was hurtful is because a lot of traumagenic systems will jump at any chance to deny their trauma. like tim, one of our hosts, made an entire sideblog and asked a bunch of people their thoughts on whether or not we seem traumagenic. literally no one else in system agreed with him, but he was having a lot if self doubt. that self doubt came from the idea that "your trauma wasnt traumatic enough to be traumagenic". it actually came from the "stressgenic" label and him going "ok what if-" but the base idea is still the same.

if someone is a system, the trauma they went through was enough to be a system. it was enough to disrupt the integration of their egostates in childhood, that means it was traumatic. that is something we believe in and something that is so comforting to know (and also part of why we feel non-DD plurality should be seperate from systems but thats not the point)

but i still dont think you were wrong for agreeing, not necessarily. just because with the context you were having a really shitty time and you just wanted that asker to not get their satisfaction of "ooh evil ableist person who thinks some endos are actually traumagen doesnt believe in a 2 way street huh". and youre definitely not a bad person.

I try not to get TOO personal on this blog anymore (which is sort of messed up, given that this blog was made as a personal blog for me to connect to other systems and just record the things happening to me), but I want to address what this all did to me. The following is gonna be a trauma dump, so feel free to completely ignore this. I just have a lot of thoughts and want to give context and get them out on the blog that was SUPPOSED to be for these things.

I made a hurtful comment to some. I can see now how it could be hurtful, and I’m analyzing how this take and others could be. I’m willing to take the criticism and move on with better actions.

I’ve also almost thrown up due to the anxiety about this. I’ve been having issues opening tumblr without panicking. I’ve been needing to deep breathing each time I post.

Syscourse shouldn’t do that to someone. People shouldn’t do that to people. I understand how it can be hurtful, but every time I so much at glance at system things now, I see another vaguepost about how I’m bad, how I’m hurting everyone, how I’m a disappointment, etc etc. Even posting this ask is already making me cry.

When I posted the original long post, I was suicidal. I regularly am. It’s an issue I deal with daily. This time around, it was the worst I’ve been in a long time. I contemplated hanging myself at work. And that same day, someone reblogged my bait ask (an ask that I was too terrified not to respond to, due to the harassment I was getting, and would continue to get unless I responded.) They reblogged the ask, called the response disgusting (and I couldn’t understand why) and immediately I get anon hate. I was told to kill myself, and god, I wanted to. Why was I such a failure? I gotta stop on that topic because my heart is racing again.

And none of this happened with *discord*. I’m in a discord where we discussed my post. And it was a CIVIL DISCUSSION. Nobody insulted me - they just shared why people (including themselves) could be angry. They also heard me out! Some people agreed and some people didn’t. Nobody harassed me, nobody told me I should be dead. It opened my eyes a lot to how it was hurtful WITHOUT making my ideation even worse.

All this is to say… I think I may leave tumblr. Not forever. But when I can’t post a hypothetical ask for a situation that has never come up in my life, with an angry short response, but everyone else can post an enormous long angry response about how I’m a disappointment and a failure? There’s something wrong there. And I need to take a step back from syscourse before it kills me.

As two of the newest members of the Kree Starforce, you two got the short end of the stick. That meant bunking up together, sharing your quarters, but was it really all that bad? After all, Vers wasn’t awful company.

The only thing that you knew about Vers is that she didn’t know a thing about herself. But over time, you did learn that she was a hothead, a little sarcastic and snarky, an awesome friend, and a formidable opponent.

“Ooh, that’s gonna hurt in the morning.” You curled up on the mat, rolling over in surrender while Vers let out some amused laughter.

“You said not to take it easy on you!” She defended, offering to hoist you back to your feet. Little did she know that you weren’t down for the count just yet. You yanked her arm back, kicked her leg out, and dodged her fall as she landed beside you on the mat.

“I didn’t know you fought dirty, y/n.” She and you peered at each other from different angled and burst into a fit of laughter on the floor, it was definitely ill-timed since Yon-Rogg entered at that moment.

“Do either of you take anything seriously?” He rubbed his temples while Vers scrunched up her face and mocked him.

“Someone sounds grumpy today.” You sat up and twisted around to face his unamused expression.

“I just came here to remind you that it’s lights out in twenty. I don’t want to hear your ear-splitting laughter for the rest of the night, are we clear?” He warned, causing you and your teammate to give him simultaneous sarcastic “uh-huh’s” while smirking at each other. He wasn’t going to waste his breath on you two, so he left without another word. Vers and you stifled snickers as you leaned back on the floor.

“So, you ready to call it a night?” She asked, lazily turning her head towards you.

“I guess,” you sighed, “I don’t think we have much of a choice, he’ll send Minn-Erva to put us in our place or whatever.” You rolled your eyes at the thought of her and pushed yourself off the ground once more.

“Yeah, what’s up with her? Do you get the vibe she doesn’t like us or something?” Vers stood up and brushed herself off.

“Maybe it’s just a newbie thing.” You shrugged. “Let’s get out of here.”

You and Vers walked down the hallway side by side, pushing on each other with your shoulders and stumbling back and forth, joking about how the team was too high maintenance, and making new memories for her.

The pair of you didn’t waste time getting ready to rest.

I’m totally kidding, of course you did.

“Vers, have you seen my nightshirt?” You rummaged through your clothes.

“No, I totally have not.” She replied with the apparel in hand.

“Come on, V! Do you prefer me to sleep shirtless or something?” You snatched it back and quickly changed.

“Maybe I do, maybe I don’t.” She replied smugly, holding up your bottoms as well. “I suppose you want these back, too.” You blinked in disbelief as her grin began to grow, and she snorted once you buckled and took them back.

“Didn’t realize they stuck me in quarters with a thief.” You joked, pulling on your pants and crawling into your bed on the bottom bunk. Vers called dibs on the top bunk as soon as she was assigned to this room, but is that surprising? “‘Lights out!’” You mocked with a clap and let the room go dark.

“Actually, they stuck you in quarters with the coolest Starforce member ever, don’t get it twisted.” Your bunk mate corrected, climbing onto the other bed. “See you bright and early, Starshine.” Vers and you got comfy under the covers and drifted off.

It felt like seconds before you opened your eyes again. There was tossing and turning from your roommate, her breathing got louder and you suddenly heard a gasp.

“Vers, you okay up there?” You whispered, throwing the covers away and hopping off your bunk. As your eyes adjusted to the dark, you saw her leaning on her forearms and checking her surroundings.

“Yeah, I’m fine.” She assured you, turning on her side and observing your worried expression. “Weird dreams, I guess.” You could tell that they bothered her more than she’d like to admit. What did she expect? After sharing a room for so long, you picked up on these things.

“‘Weird dreams,’ huh? Indulge me.” You requested, cocking an eyebrow. You knew she would, you were one of the only people she’d be willing to tell.

“Aw, you care.” Vers stuck her hand out and waved it in your face. “Whatever, get up here.” You delightfully accepted and hopped in bed with her, lying down near the wall and waiting for her to turn to the other side, leaving your faces just a few inches apart. “Alright, so they’re kind of spotty. Memory bank isn’t all that great, you know?” You nodded along and listened intently. “I dont know, really. I guess it felt like something from my past, but it also didn’t.”

“What was it?” You inquired, resting your hand on hers that fell in between the two of you.

“I felt like...like I was scared. But I still did the things that scared me.” She explained, staring down at your touch. “I can’t put it any other way than that. Dreams are hard to remember once you’re awake, you know?” Her eyes flickered up to yours.

“Yeah, I get what you mean.” You struggled to keep yours open. “Ever have any dreams like this before?”

“Not really. My dreams are mostly about you.” She nonchalantly whispered, watching your eyes go wide as you stammered an answer to that admittance.

“R-really?” You watched her suck in her lips to hide a smile and swatted her shoulder. “I can’t believe you, Vers.”

“Hey! Maybe I do, maybe I don’t.” You shook your head at her flirtatious remarks and flipped onto your other side to face the wall, which meant that you’d be spending the night on her bed. “What about your dreams?” You felt her hand on your side.

“They’re not like yours.” You moved flat on your back, tossing more than she was in her sleep. “Just a bunch of stuff jumbled together, not that deep.”

“They could be deep, what if you’re not analyzing them hard enough?” She suggested, making you groan.

“Nooo, no more talking about what our dreams mean!” You whined and continued to talk about each of your dreams until you nodded off to sleep.

And with another blink, you were awake. Vers was already awake, but not quite out of bed yet. She was waiting for you.

“Guess we passed out, but I think it was worth it.” She told you.

“Agreed.” You said as she leaned towards you and placed a kiss on your forehead.

Ask 1 - About KTH1 and expectations

Ok, so I did write a shit post about this... (I mean… This is literally all Vmin’s songs so far ), but I still think your questions are worth a proper answer.

Honestly I think speculating about KTH1 is kind of hard, and as seen in the shit post I am quite torn with my expectations... In general I am the type who doesn’t like to expect too much in fear of being disappointed. I rather be pleasantly surprised. That being said Vmin does have a track record of getting involved in each other’s songs. I mean a lot is just speculation of course, but we do have confirmed cases as well, enough to not be too surprised if they would keep it up and do something for Tae’s solo album as well. (Tae saying his mixtape would be named Jimin back in 2016 still haunts me.)

On the other hand, they have already given us a lot of collabs. Adding more would feel more like a statement, at least if it would be only Jimin out of the members on that album. The thing is that if Vmin would have something “real” or at least if they are a bit careful with how they come across... I am not sure they would do something too “obvious”. But where such a line would be drawn is impossible to know. I mean clearly they managed to write and sing Friends and it worked fine, even if they did get more attention as a ship.

We also know Tae has been quite loud about Jimin in ways that single him out, so maybe they would really dare push the boundaries as far as actually including Jimin in the album somehow. It’s also very possible there could be other members, and honestly we probably shouldn’t hyper focus too much on it and that it has to mean something no matter if anyone is on it or not.

I think one of the rappers being on it is probably more likely out of the members, but it seems Tae has shown an interest in collabs with people outside of BTS, so that’s kind of what I am expecting the most. No matter who in the group is on it I am sure fans will make a big deal out of it, and maybe Tae would rather have his own thing for his first album. I really don’t know how his thoughts would go.

But again, looking at how Tae and Jimin has talked about working together, and have had moments like Tae promising Jimin a song or Tae saying they will work together again... It’s definitely not impossible to get another Vmin song. I do feel it’s more likely for any connections to be vague and not instantly noticeable though (at least not anything romantic looking because we know what happened to the Christmas song). Especially considering how they have only recently revealed things like 4 clock’s inspiration more openly and had Friends followed by Sweet Night. My main stance for any possible real ship is still that they have reason to be careful, and yet another Vmin collab, on Taehyung’s first personal album would probably raise some eyebrows considering everything else we already have. But it could also be me over analyzing them, and maybe they just really like and want to work together. Tae for sure has after all been vocal about this preference and want to work with Jimin.

So yeah, on one hand they have a track record that is hard to ignore... But on the other I wonder if they might want to add another “point” for ARMY to look at them and their songs. I also don’t want to assume that if there are songs on there that sound romantic that they automatically will be about Jimin. There will have to be legit possible connections for me to acknowledge them.

It’s tricky. I guess we will have to wait and see. I am kind of scared both that there won’t be anything or that there will be SOMETHING. Thank you for the ask, and I hope I shed some light on my thoughts on this subject. Either way I am very excited and looking forward to an album full of Taehyung’s own songs and the stories he wants to tell.

Ask 2 - KTH1 spoiler with “Oh lady”

I am not sure it is “lady”, since it’s a bit unclear in general. He also has a part that just seems to go “do be do” and I don’t know if the lyrics are even finished or if he worked with someone else etc. We basically lack a lot of information. But even so using lady/her/she etc. in a song doesn’t have to mean it is about a specific person or that the person is a she or that it is Taehyung’s own feelings (I know he said he usually sings about things he have felt, but just saying it doesn’t always have to be). 

Of course I don’t want to downplay it and say it doesn’t mean anything, but considering their fanbase is majority women, they live in a homophobic country and he has even been denied to sing a romantic song with a man before, it’s not impossible to add that to make it more “relatable” or less “gay”. God, that sounds terrible. I don’t want to start discussions where we don’t take their words for what they are, so I hope you might understand my point of view. That being said of course it could just as easily be to or about a specific woman in his life that we don’t know about. Or as you say, he isn’t actually in love but is simply writing love songs that could be inspired by non-romantic relationships or movies etc. as was the case for his inspiration for Winter Bear.

Tae also used “she” in Winter Bear, and that seems a bit forgotten. Or people try to say it has to be about his grandmother... Which we obviously don’t know, it’s just the woman people jump to since he used “she” and many people don’t like the idea of him dating a woman or writing about a woman we don’t know. Either way I think we need to remember that anything is possible and we don’t know them personally and how they think or why they choose to do what they do.

I think we need to remember that there is always going to be the possibility that ships aren’t real, that the romantic songs aren’t about Jimin and that either one of them could be in a relationship with someone else (all genders included).

Ask 3 - Vminies getting superiority complex

Hello! I want to address something that has been bothering me for a while now. I have been seeing some vminnies have a superiority complex just bcoz they ship vmin. Its very rampant among new vminnies and twt vminnies. I get that we all feel validated and happy when out OTP claim to be soulmates and bff. I feel that way too. But people have to remember that vmin are real people and their relationship is dynamic. Like they did grow from bff who used to tease e/o and fight alot to soulmates who are gentle and caring. Who is to say that one day they wont drift apart (i hope not and dont think thats gonna happen but for argument sake) so there is no reason to feel superior or look down on other shippers. 

If people think vminnies are superior bcoz they are not toxic they probably know they are lying. Lbr i have seen my share of toxic vminnies though may be a lesser number but they are there and its not the ship but its that particular person who is at fault. While i agree that some ship theories cultivate hate and toxicity there may be people among those ships who are just as sane and good as we claim to be. I just wanted to address this bcoz seeing some vminnies on twt saying locals thinking vmin were tgt after coway add is a validation kind of triggered me. I m sure there would have been similar responses to any other ship bcoz they all have been tgt for a decade and are very comfortable with e/o. I just wanted to talk to someone about this and i know you have discussed similar topics in the past. So yeah this was very long.

First of all, on request I won’t show your name, but thank you for sending me this and letting me know who you are. It’s always nice to know who is behind the question. But that being said I don’t mind people asking on anon, I totally get it being a lot easier to ask or question things when you don’t have to reveal yourself. Either way I am just glad to get interesting and important topics and I do think the things you bring up are worth talking about.

As you say, there is this thing when people start to feel and act superior for various reasons, and I too have seen some Vminies do this. Getting a lot of moments is sure nice. But honestly, just imagine if another ship came and mocked Vmin or gloated every time they got more moments. It has surely happened too, and I am sure it doesn’t feel very nice when on the negative end. Just be a decent human, ship moments will always vary and it’s great to be happy about getting moments, but there is no need to compare or look down on other ships. I say it again, shipping is not a competition, just enjoy your own ship and let others enjoy theirs.

As for feelings superior based on group behavior I think we really need to stop looking at groups and start looking at individuals, both when it comes to groups we are part of and groups we consider “bad”. I have said it many times, but individuals of other groups we don’t agree with won’t all be bad, or all stupid or young etc. We might want to tell ourselves they are worse, but it really doesn’t change much. 

Being “less bad” it not a merit and it shouldn’t be a competition. We all have our own selves to answer to and we should judge other people based on their actions and not based on what group they might belong to.

I think size and the toxicity of a narrative can lead to more people in certain groups behaving in toxic ways... But I think any person could happen to fall into these behaviors if not careful and aware. Often the change is gradual too, or you feel attacked by the other “rival group” and thus feel it’s justified to attack back, and so it escalates.

Vminies are at the moment as a group smaller, and thus have less “bad apples”. We likely also have a narrative for Vmin that doesn’t require as toxic mindsets, for example extreme jealousy or Vmin being forced to hide. But there for sure are still toxic Vminies, and there are also a lot of non-toxic shippers in all groups. Usually the louder ones are also the worst ones while the chill and nice will remain in their own lane and ship more peacefully. But being part of a smaller group doesn’t make you superior, your actions is what is important.

As for small moments getting noticed or other types of “validation” for your ship, of course it’s going to feel nice. However, what people see and think of any relationship in BTS is still just an outsider view and literally has no meaning for their actual relationship beyond it being a cute moment. That’s why size and popularity also doesn’t matter as any kind of “proof”. Interpretation will always just be interpretation, good or bad, if you like it or not.

Sadly I think we will get more and more toxic behavior from more ships as the fandom grows and as some things get more normalized within those ships’ communities. It’s about certain behaviors growing into a community culture... The more toxicity that is allowed the more others will follow. That’s why bringing up the problems is important, but trying to do so without shunning people so that they don’t go and create their own space where everyone else is the enemy. After all, being open and welcoming and understanding is much more likely to make someone listen and even change their mind than by attacking them.

I answer for my own actions. So does every person. I don’t want to be judged for everything every Vminie or ARMY or Multi K-pop fan etc. has done. Generalization is a huge problem in general, not just in fandoms or ship wars. I do try to be a positive influence, to not judge too harshly and to remember that being hostile won’t help any situation. But that’s about it. I am glad you brought up this topic, because talking about it is important, but sadly I don’t think there is a lot that can be done about it. Just try to be nice and open minded.

Ask 4 - Not dismissing the bond between Vmin and the other boys

Thank you. I really see no need for it. It’s clear as day that they all love each other, and even if one pair would happen to be romantic instead of platonic that won’t change. We don’t have to compare and we definitely don’t have to downplay the moments they share with each other. All shippers should at the very least accept the the things they do and say as mostly genuine. I trust BTS and what they show us, it’s that easy.

I know some also get influenced by toxic fans, but we really need to remember that no narratives by fans matter when it comes to reality and what bonds BTS share with each other. They are all great people and seem to have such love and respect for each other I frankly don’t understand how you can be a fan if you think any of it is played up to the point some claim.

Likely no ship in BTS is real, but if any is, to me I am sure the ones involved would be happy and supported by the rest of the members. That’s why it doesn’t really matter what ship would be real or not real as long as they are happy. We shouldn’t let our own views and sometimes want or hopes affect the way be judge their reality. This applies for things outside shipping as well.

Ask 5 - Other people’s words can influence your thoughts

Indeed. The brain is a powerful thing. This is very obvious if you are a multi-shipper or a general fan, but BTS truly has a lot of questionable moments between all kinds of pairs. Focus is a interesting thing. If you like something you will notice it more, and you will also remember it more while you forget other moments. Likewise if something is “negative” like a rival ship you are likely to notice them more as well. This happens even if you just watch the general content and get your own bias. Imagine then how it might influence you when others keep repeating either your happy interpretations or things you worry about? You’ll get it stuck in your head and remember it more than other things.

Like isn’t it funny how we might gush about Vmin sharing beds, or worry about ji/kook or tae/kook cuddling while hope/kook literally sleep wrapped around each other in both Bon Voyage 3 and 4? Sometimes it’s all about perspective.

By now we need to realize that fan perspective will influence us a lot. And in particular if a lot of people say it or if it is presented in a way that makes it sound logical and intelligent. Words have power. 

I still think using “Vmin is dead” or spreading worry often in itself leads to people thinking it and it being somehow accepted as fact. In similar fashion getting to hear about certain ships or certain narratives will make us notice things in relation to that. My own words and posts too will have influence on some people that read them. That’s why I try to be so careful, and why I try to avoid using strong words or claims that might cement themselves in someone’s mind. (I’ll actually talk more about the power of language in my big analysis as well)

Thank you for your input, it’s definitely an interesting thing to consider and another aspect of why shipping mentality is so complicated. 

Ask 6 - Vmin not sharing rooms in Bon Voyage Malta

Hi and yes, I have answered this before HERE, but it’s ok. I know it’s not easy finding old topics amongst my collection posts.

In short I think Vmin wanted to share rooms but that Taehyung got fooled when Jimin stopped him from checking the upper room. Because it seemed like Jimin stopped him from walking into that room by saying he couldn’t peak Tae probably assumed it wasn’t Jimin’s room and that when Jimin said it was his room he was joking (his face was definitely something). So yeah, I think he just got fooled by Jimin’s statement about not being allowed to look inside the room before picking. There are other interesting things about this whole moment, but the one thing we should take away from it is how it is one out of now many examples that seem to show that Vmin have a preference to share rooms/beds. Thank you for the ask. :)

Ask 7 - Has being a Vmin shipper always been so overwhelming with all the content?

I wouldn’t say it’s something recent. I say it often, but we really do get very intense periods from time to time with many of the ships. For example in February 2017 with ISAC, fan signs and everything else we got a lot of Vmin too. I remember being overwhelmed myself, and that was coming out of BST era Vmin. We got many moments every day and that’s just one specific period I can remember. 

 Over the years sometimes we do get these very intense days or weeks with a lot of moments at once. Usually I get asks like “do you think something is up with Vmin lately” or “wow I can’t believe how much Vmin we have gotten lately” but really, it’s hard to tell, because it really does happen from time to time. I also still say we always get Vmin moments regularly as long as we get BTS content, but sometimes a bit more and sometimes less. I am sure there will be more times when we also get “Vmin is dead“ and worried people because we get less moments than they expect. It just happens, up and down and around it goes.

As for what ships are big I will definitely say Ji/kook and Tae/kook are the biggest, but that all BTS ships are big by now. Meaning as soon as we do get moments it will be seen online. Especially if you follow people who talk about it of course. I also think what platform you are on can result in some ships being seen more than others. For example I know ji/kook is by far the biggest BTS ship here on Tumblr while Youtube seems to have more tae/kookers.

Ask 8 - “Just a friend” interview

Ah yes, I have a bit of a soft spot for this interview myself. I am not sure, but I think it might be from 2017 (since Tae wrote a birthday letter to Jimin in 2016), or at least that’s when I found it and saved it down. I haven’t actually tracked the original source. You can find the translation in the link shared HERE, credits to @95z​.

Seeing this close after the chaos of Let’s BTS and other letter confessions it really does seem very cringe for them to express sincere thoughts in these more formal ways. I can’t blame them. 

I do think this interview is yet another example of how much Vmin has tried to adapt to each other, learn and be more open with expressing how they feel. They literally inspire and learn from each other in how to express themselves. Isn’t it completely endearing? 

I also love how they get each other to feel strong emotions and how they are there for each other when in need. On a slightly more analytical note I also can’t help but note the “just a friend” vs “soulmate” descriptions and how they seem to have a hard time putting it into proper words. We already know this of course, but yeah... They really don’t have an easy time describing their relationship.

Ask 9 - The garnet necklace

Oh yeah, I know that JK wore it once and that the talk was that a fan gave it to all of maknae line. Not much was ever confirmed from what I know, but regardless it doesn’t change why I think it’s a Vmin/soulmate necklace and why I see it as special.

Here is the thing, when I use “Vmin thing” it really doesn’t have to be exclusive. To me it’s the context around it and how they have used it and even reacted to it that makes the garnet necklace something special for Vmin. In the case of the soulmate necklace Vmin wore it a lot. Almost constantly during a big part of 2017 and even a bit into 2018. They also wore it at the same time a lot. I find this very cute, and we all know “couple items” is something all fans enjoy even if it would just be a platonic relationship behind it. But if both of them wearing it was all there was, as a lot of Vmin sharing clothes (or BTS in general sharing clothes) I wouldn’t really think too much about it beyond it being cute. It could still be just a cute thing that Vmin did, but I personally see it as something beyond the normal clothes/jewelry sharing.

(At the very least you can remember Vmin did this while people thought their relationship was dead, which doesn’t make much sense to do if you hate or dislike someone.)

The things I find more noteworthy about this necklace is the fact that the fandom picked up on it and because they wore it so much and so often at the same time it was dubbed the “soulmate necklace”. Possibly knowing this Tae also brought specific attention to the necklace at two times, as if wanting to show it off. Interestingly enough, in one of these times Jimin seemed to ignore Taehyung who was bringing attention to it on purpose. For me it came across as another thing Taehyung wanted to show off and that Jimin was a bit more careful about.

The other time was in Run ep. 39, right after Vmin talked about being in school together and showing off their school uniforms. If Tae is the one to try and highlight something, I feel it likely has some meaning to him at least.

Either way the necklace is basically a symbol of Vmin’s relationship and the fact that they liked it so much and wore it together during a long period I think they liked wearing it not only because they both happened to like the design but because they both had it. If JK also had one and didn’t use it of course it could include him, but I will still say it remains significant for Vmin’s bond with each other.

As for buying a necklace together they haven’t talked about this one in particular, but Tae did mention he bought his tiger necklace with Jimin in NY, so maybe you are mixing the two things up?

Ask 10 - Vmin in CMs

Thank you for loving my blog and for the ask! :) I am not sure if you perhaps meant in a lot of BTS own photoshoots/units as well, but I’ll focus on CMs in this post since that was your direct example. I might go a bit beyond here, but I saw it as a good chance to revisit some Vmin ad moments.

I wouldn’t personally say we have gotten “way more” but I do think because of their Friends unit they got to do some more interviews together and some CM stuff too. I also think we have gotten more BTS commercials in general now, likely because it’s an income alternative to touring during the pandemic. So that obviously means more CMs, and more chances for them to be paired up. They also have gotten paired with others of course (like in the Bodyfriend CM or Baskin Robbins), but most commonly they aren’t divided in smaller groups at all.

We also have gotten Vmin paired up before, both in photoshoots and in CMs. Of course we saw some great ones in 2016 with Puma and NUGU, but I don’t think we got that much more in 2016 and before than in 2017-2019. I think what we can see is BTS having more endorsements after Covid.

Like honestly, the Puma adds are iconic. Of course the original one, but also the revisits from 2018. Puma definitely seemed to like to pair Vmin in particular. (There are so many good examples from Puma that I’m not including)

We also got a snippet in the Hyundai one, also from 2018.

I mean, I don’t know if I should count the snippets at all, like from BTS x VT cosmetics in 2019, but I feel sometimes just being seen in the same frame seems to get attention as being paired up so. (I decided to not include being together when it’s at least a third member in the frame)

And guys... Have you ever watched BTS and the milk song?

What did we get so far more recently? In 2020 we had the Hyundai interview.

Coway was basically couple goals and like the best one in my own opinion (besides Puma because it is going to take a lot to beat Puma).

But other than that? I don’t think we have seen it that much, have we? I am not complaining or anything, like I am happy with what we got, but I don’t know if it’s that much. I might forget some obvious ones, but these were the ones I had top of mind. Feel free to add ads if you can think of more recent ones that I left out.

So I think we have gotten more BTS ads in general, also more where they are not all of them or single focus, and that we have seen maybe Vmin getting paired a little more after Friends. But to me there is such a small difference I can’t really say if it is anything particular to Vmin or just BTS doing more CMs.

I mean, I don’t have a sheet of who has been paired with who and how many times over the years. But either way I don’t think we should look too deeply into things like CMs or even photoshoots units. Thanks for the ask though, I hope you enjoyed this mini collection. :)

Ask 11 - Taehyung uncomfortable about shipping/tae*kook?

So this is a thought sent in after THIS ASK though it really brings up a new subject, which is that of Tae possibly being uncomfortable with shipping. As for Tae saying that to a tae/kooker in particular I think we have to remember it could very easily just have been in the moment and we can’t know why he decided to reply to that person in particular.

The Vmin post was not invasive and it wasn’t romantic. I mean, I do think Tae keeps showing again and again that if there is any person in BTS that is special to him it’s Jimin. But the difference in the posts also likely matters, but we can’t know how much. We don’t know if Tae would feel annoyed if a Vminie wrote the same thing as the tae/kooker did, and we don’t know if it was just in that moment that he got fed up with the shipping discourse in general, or if it was because it was tae/kook.

Honestly any shipper, regardless if a ship would eventually prove to be real or not, should not go and invade spaces where the boys get exposed to it. We don’t know if Taehyung would have reacted in a similar way if it happened to be another ship.

Personally I don’t think tae/kook drifted apart as a result of shipping, because honestly they still kept being pretty intimate physically and engaged in fanservice on stage etc. If they truly were uncomfortable with the idea I just don’t think they would “feed it” much at all. I think as they said in ITS they just, kind of changed and it became harder to talk. I’ve talked more about tae/kook and my views on their bond in THIS POST and a little in THIS POST as well as about BTS possible stance on shipping HERE.

I also think all of BTS has a pretty good distance from hate and fandom speculations in general. I think that because they know about shipping and partly also feed into it they probably expect crazy people to some degree as well, even if they probably don’t like it. Hetero shippers as well, or solo stans etc. have very toxic behaviors at times, but I think BTS can recognize that it is kind of “bound to happen” with their popularity, no matter what they do about it. Not saying they would like it, and they could definitely feel awkward or annoyed because of it, but it doesn’t seem to bother them too much as I think they can detach themselves from it pretty well.

I also think “fan opinions” in form of rival shipping wouldn’t really harm a hidden couple as it first would likely be a sort of “shield” and second because they have their relationships and are likely comfortable with them on their own terms. What fans think is probably secondary.

It is possible that they could get annoyed or frustrated at times, but again, if they truly felt bothered by it they probably wouldn’t do a lot of the things they do. Because I am sure they are aware to some degree that fans scrutinize their every move and ship moments. Both Tae and Jimin are some of the most physical out of the members, and also some of the members that seem to like to initiate fanservice moments... So I doubt they would have much problem and can feel secure enough in their relationship no matter what fans think.

Ask 12 - What did Jimin write on his shirt in Run ep. 53?

Hi, I guess you got curious after I talked about this episode recently in my post Ask: Reply - 2021.03.30 (Ask 8 - Going down the rabbit hole, micromoments and shipping vs believing).

I don’t know hangul, but I do know what “Jimin” looks like. On Jimin’s shirt from behind the scenes of Run ep. 53 you can see he’s written his own name “지민” Jimin followed by what looks to be “ 님 “ which is nim. So basically the text on the container in the picture says Sir Jimin.

Jimin seemed very keen on writing his name on both his own shirt and on Tae’s and even tried on JK’s. He failed of course, but he sure did try.

Ask 13 - Gina Maeng ask follow up

Glad you liked my reply. :) (From Ask: Reply - 2021.03.30  Ask 4 - Idols dating members of the same group). Yeah I get what you mean, talking about it openly I suppose isn’t so normal. But since it seems to be more and more fans who assume it happens to some degree maybe it’s not so strange if it starts getting more talked about as well. I’ll take it as a good sign, even if the information is nothing new in itself, being more open is going to make it easier for fans to realize it’s possible for their idols to be LGBT+ or have hidden relationships.

As for K-Population it doesn’t seem to be too well known, but it’s one of few actual examples to be found. So yeah, interesting that we know it has happened, and also that it shows what risks it could mean to get involved with a group member. I think the risk of a falling out is something a lot of shippers tend to forget. Anyways, thank you for your reply. ^_^

Ask 14 - Vmin’s love is beautiful (and so much nice praise omg)

Oh my... I am not sure I have ever been called sweetheart by anyone ever before. Thank you! You are making me blush with all the praise.  💜💜💜

But really, we can all just watch Vmin in awe and be happy they have each other and feel such immense love for each other, no matter what that love is. It’s kind of amazing. Like even if they are platonic their relationship is so wholesome and they put so much love and effort into it that it’s truly inspirational. I love when we get bombed with moments like this with a very intense period of great Vmin interactions. As you, me too never fail to feel all soft watching them together.
