My headcanon is that they were secretly dating since they were young, before Sabo regained his memory and Law became a Warlord. So when Law helps Luffy he does it out of instinct, because he is a "D" but then he finds out that he is his brother-in-law. Now Law takes care of Luffy, because he knows that he is important to his beloved Sabo, and they got married in secret. They even adopted Roule. Anyway, my headcanons are for the games. I'll keep waiting for Law and Sabo to officially meet in the manga.

Anyways not too sure what I want to call this AU but I've kinda settled on "The Blocks".

More about it undercut if you care idk:

I don’t want to say much about them because I want to write fanfic about this and I don’t want to spoil it so sorry if this sounds barebones or is confusing :(

Some quick before things: This AU is in a world where all of humanity has been forced into a highly structured society. Basically everyone was kidnapped and forced into cryosleep except for people part of this secret organization who’ve begun to create this super structured world

Cities are just numbered and under each city are the “Blocks”, 4 per city, 1 a daycare, the other three for people 18+. Blocks all have 100 members (people who have been awoken from cryosleep) and have a strict ruleset, if a member breaks a rule, they’re killed. The last remaining member is allowed to leave and live in the “new world”. Daycares don’t do that (kill members (kids)) they just teach them to follow the new rules. They also get their education there so once they’ve graduated they’re allowed to leave.

(⚾Scout) Jeremy, Block Master Assistant (Block 3)

He’s the main character or something. His one goal is to be a Block Master because his dad works as the admin for the blocks and would always come home talking about it and he just thought it was the coolest thing.

(🇺🇸Soldier) Block Master Doe (Block 2)

Think the most like patriotic, pro-american (but not for america), drill sergeant- so he’s basically the same person. For every AU I make where Soldier is included he’s always the same person because I just love him so much.

(🔥Pyro) Moe/Puff, Block Daycare Attendant (Block 1)

They’re mute :3 They help Heavy in the daycare and their pyromaniac thing isn’t there, they’re just insane. They see the whole world as Pyroland but not everything has to be on fire for it, they’re just like that. Also Moe is their name but Puff is what they let all the kids call them because they're always wearing a puffy jacket

(💣Demo) Tavish, Block Master Assistant (Block 2)

He’s very laid back, he might genuinely let people get away with offenses as long as Doe didn’t see it, he’s mostly there to keep Doe in check and also because I’m a boots and bombs shipper and they’re gay :3

(🧸Heavy) Mikhail, Block Daycare Teacher (Block 1)

Leader of Block 1/the daycare. Block 1 leaders are really nice because they’re whole job is to just teach/watch over kids so he’s just genuinely wholesome :) He tries to get the other Block Masters (Ludwig & Doe) to be better but he’s given up on Doe and Ludwig might be too far gone

(🔧Engie) Dell, Block Maintenance Overseer

There are teams of people who maintain the blocks (he’s one of them), He works with the Admin and Block Masters to keep Blocks up to date. Currently he’s a bit busy because Block 4 had some accident that no one is allowed to know about and it’s not working but everything is totally fine guys 👍

Student/Teacher AU in which Tom grooms an abused sixteen-year-old Harry.

My first take on an unreliable narrator. This one's dear to me because it's as short as it is complex, and I was very conscious about its wording. Probably my favourite ending, too.

2. Heartbreak Prince (Tom / Harry, T, 12,749 words)

Coffee Shop AU with lawyer Tom and barista Harry. No big thoughts, just cotton candy.

This was originally written as a joke but somehow turned out to be strangely wholesome? This silly little thing made me smile when I was very deep down and I was told that it did the same to others, so how could I not love it? Also: my first English fic!

3. A Simple Request (Tom / Harry, E, 60,113 words, WIP)

Office AU with whining, pining, and a lot of eye-fucking.

This is an absolute joyride, and also the most unfiltered me. Admittedly a bit overwritten, but a great mix of obsessiveness, angst, overthinking, longing for being loved, laughing off your misery, etc. Big bonus: it helps me cope with my neighbours.

(Also, this is the one with the most engagement. I’m dying to talk to y’all but it’s hard for me to connect. ASR is cracking this glass wall a bit and it means a lot to me.)

4. Looking For A Place to Shine (Tom / Harry, T, 19,835 words, WIP, currently not posted)

Surf Camp AU about love, trauma, and healing.

This was originally a 2k word long crack fic that quickly grabbed me, shut itself down, then turned into a very emotional journey. I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with it because it makes me rethink many things about my writing, but I'm learning a lot along the way.

5. Slip Away (Tom / Harry, E, 44,384 words)

Student/Teacher AU, a sequel to Not With Haste.

I'm quite proud of the inner monologues in this one. Writing Tom's fully unhinged POV for 40k+ words within 5 weeks have done things to me. It wasn't an easy ride and the writing's a bit raw, but somehow it all fits together. Also, same as the first part, I like its complexity.

Paimom got curious as she asked who you were to him, so much that he had to look out for you

They were both surprised when they found it from Zhongli that Xiao and you were siblings and basically inseparable

If it isn't Latern Festival season then he sometimes asks Zhongli to buy some toys for you since he knows that it looks odd because an Adepti asking to buy toys from the toy vender?

He will sometimes let you join the fights as long it's the weak ones like huricurls, it's fine but strongs ones like the Jade Chamber incident. Awh hell nah, he ain't allowing that, he will ask Hu Tao or Zhongli to watch you over so that you don't get hurt

You're just practically too sweet precious to get hurt, although sometimes he's a little worried cause you walk on the ground. BAREFOOT

In an effort to combine both of my interests, I decided to expand on my Dragon Age!Metalocalypse AU in the style of Dragon Age: Absolution. I'll do more detailed designs later, I just wanted to get the basic concepts down

The general concept of this AU is that 5 musicians discover that weird magic shit happens whenever they perform together, due to demons or old gods or something like that. They're being watched over by a mage who's trying to study this anomaly and the Prophecy behind it. Also Crozier (not pictured) is a former Templar commander who's being mind-corrupted by Salacia (not pictured), the reincarnated visage of an old god.

Nathan: Qunari warrior (reaver). Nathan was raised by his adoptive human parents who love him very much (they're still alive; his backstory is very wholesome). However, Nathan started to manifest these weird magic-like abilities that could only be activated by screaming. Over time, he learned to finesse these abilities and now he can use them for cool pyrotechnics and stuff when he performs. Death metal exists in Thedas now.

Pickles: Dwarf rogue (tempest). Pickles was born to a very traditional merchant caste family in Orzammar, specifically a region in Orzammar where everyone has Midwestern accents. After being fed up with always getting compared to his twin brother, Seth, and not being able to live up to his ancestors and family expectations, he left for the surface. He expected to spend the rest of his life drinking his sorrows away, but then he met Nathan and they started a band.

William: Dwarf rogue (legionnarie scout). William is a casteless dwarf who was infamous for his abrasive personality. This ended up getting him into trouble when he was overheard badmouthing a particularly sensitive noble, and he was banished to the Deep Roads as a punishment. However, he actually enjoyed his time in the Deep Roads and felt a lot of pride dedicating his life to fighting the Darkspawn. His new purpose in life became wanting to join the Legion of the Dead. He manages to escape the Deep Roads sometime after the Blight, but he's still very proud of his legionnarie duties. He's a very good bassist because spending so much time in caves has given him a better understanding and appreciations for deeper sounds and vibrations.

Skwisgaar: Elf rogue (bard). Skwisgaar was well known in his Dalish camp for being the best musician in his clan. But over time, the novelty of that started to wear off and Skwisgaar wanted to be the best musician in other larger communities. He left home in search of a way to truly hone his potential as a musician. Also since he has a wolf motif in the show, there's probably some kind of Dread Wolf connection somewhere, I'll wait for the DA lore to update.

Toki: Elf mage (blood mage). Toki was born to an isolated village that was definitely ruled by a cult (think DA:O Haven). He spent his childhood being plagued by nightmares that eventually manifested in him accidentally summoning a demon that killed everyone in his village. But that didn't stop Toki from befriending the demon. Now Toki is just wandering around Thedas, developing an increasingly large arsenal of demon friends and being uncomfortably chipper despite his horrific abilities.

Charles: Human mage (knight-enchanter who is blood magic curious). Charles is a Circle Mage whose noble background has made his time in the Circle a bit smoother than most. After the Circles fell, he became the magical advisor to a few nobles, but he always felt intellectually unfulfilled. He decided to give up assisting nobles and instead chose to monitor this weird group of musicians, not knowing the kind of power he just tapped into. Also he's been secretly studying blood magic and necromancy.

Knubbler: Elf mage (rift). Knubbler is one of the mages Charles brought on to help him with his efforts. His time studying rifts left him blinded and a bit corrupted in the head, but his knowledge of magic is almost unmatched. Charles is the only person in Thedas still willing to work with him.

Abigail: Human mage (force). Abigail spent most of her life trying to be a perfect, by the books Circle Mage. But then the Circles fell and Abigail realized that none of this shit matters, so she might as well have fun. She joined Charles' team where Knubbler works as her assistant.

Melmord: Human mage (knight-enchanter). Melmord is a mage who fronts as a rogue. He was caught trying to steal Charles' research and Charles thought he could easily defeat him with magic, but oh no Melmord is a mage too. They have a homoerotic magical swordfight before Melmord falls off the tower. No one hired Melmord for this job. He just showed up and started causing problems.

Seth: Dwarf guy. Seth is Pickles' twin brother who did everything a merchant caste son in Orzammar is supposed to do. He married a merchant caste woman and had a kid, he honors the ancestors, he brings in coin, etc. However, Seth tends to get in trouble with the law quite a bit, specifically gambling, working with smugglers, fixing Proving matches, etc. But he's always able to pay off his crimes, so no one seems to care.

Amber: Dwarf lady. Amber is Seth's wife and another merchant caste dwarf. She has a pretty spotless record and tends to go unnoticed. I thought about making her secretly a former Silent Sister to explain why she never speaks, but I think even Seth would notice if she literally didn't have a tongue.

Magnus: Human mage (necromancer). Magnus was born in Seheron, but he moved to Tevinter in the hopes of expanding his knowledge of magic (and probably changed his name too to fit in). Unfortunately, even Tevinter thought he was too dramatic to put up with, so he was cast out of every group he joined. After getting fed up of his cool ideas not taken seriously, he joined forces with an escaped Qunari Saarebas, who is definitely going to listen to his ideas instead.

The Saarebas: Qunari mage (saarebas). The Saarebas is Qunari mage who escaped from his Aravaarad and went on a rampage across Tevinter to try and find his long-lost brother who was taken there. When he discovered that his brother was killed, he went on another rampage. He was able to escape Tevinter with Magnus' help and the two joined forces.

Stacy headcanons? Since I love the way you write her

My biggest headcanon for her is that Melissa (TGWDLM, Hey Melissa) is her cousin. She’s not a serial killer but she does have a little bit of a screw-loose like her. She also loves cats (and as opposed to being all serial-killer-y about people being animals, she’s really just into petplay-)

That connection being established, I think her family is rich! In Miss Holloween (a couple scenes were read in one of the fundraising livestreams for Cinderella’s Castle), it’s established that Stacy goes to college at Vassar in New York and that is not easy to get into and not cheap, so they’ve gotta have a bit of dough ykwim??? And in Hey Melissa, it’s stated Melissa flew all her friends in, and paying for 3 peoples’ airline tickets can’t be cheap. So……… They’re well-off.

She also LOVES Sanrio and is secretly a huge fan of “girly” animes. She was THRIVING with the whole e-girl look in 2020 and that’s usually how she dressed when she didn’t have to wear her cheer uniform. She WOULD HAVE been bullied for it if that’s not what everyone else was wearing too.

There's joy, there's tears, there's everything. But after that first moment, it doesn't stop, just shows itself in different ways. Everything that screams "don't leave me again", even though it wasn't anyone's choice.

Arthur sometimes checking on Isaac out of nowhere. He needs to know his son is still there. John, whatever everyone sees him as, is still a loving father and husband. He does the same. He needs to know they're there, safe, alive.

Bessie and Hosea is a story I don't think I need to tell, we all understand. But still.

Just. Small ways the trauma shows itself. The way they all say what they can't speak out loud.

Sean is not allowed to say the words 'quick job' because Rhodes was meant to be a quick job and Lenny just sits by the door slowly spiraling into full blown hyperventilation thinking about the completely ordinary day when Sean's corpse came back to camp draped over Brown Jack.

Arthur and Isaac. Not only is Arthur very serious about never putting Isaac down or out of his sight again but actually seeing his dad again brings up so much anxiety for Isaac. He doesn't want him to go away again either.

Arthur might sit for hours watching Isaac sleep when Isaac starts staying nights with him but also Isaac waking up in the middle of the night panicked. He might be 9 years old but very desperately needing his dad and to know where he is constantly.

Checking in on Isaac and vice versa is the main reason Arthur learned the importance of cell phones and keeping them charged because he will get a random phone call in the middle of the day when Isaac just wanted to hear his voice and have the assurance he hadn't vanished again. Calling each other at least three times a day at all hours.

John did not sleep for days after he first timewarped because he could not handle his daughter being out of sight. Closes his eyes for a second on the couch in sheer exhaustion only to jump up and frantically look around for her. Uncle actually serving a purpose he won't even drink when John asks him to watch Addie: he needs to know someone is watching his precious daughter so he can relax enough to sleep.

Abigail thinks she is fine and life is perfect now that she has her family back all together again, but sometimes John comes back from the store or helping Charles with a job to her just silently sobbing on the couch because she was so convinced something happened to him.

Hosea and Bessie. Unless Hosea has something/someone else to worry about he needs to be with Bessie because he will obsessively think he's going to lose her again without constant distraction. Bring your husband to work day everyday because she also just missed him so much it's not the palpable anxiety but just grief.

Jack is the biggest co-sleeper. He is used to sharing his space. They thought it would be so exciting modern era he finally has his own room and instead it's just - he cannot sleep without knowing someone is there. The only times he had a room to himself was a) Beecher's Hope before Addie was born (he shared a room with the baby and was the most doting big brother) b) Beecher's Hope after Addie died (uncomfortably quiet) and c) Beecher's Hope after Abigail died. After John's death he was so worried about his mother he accidentally fell back into the habit of sleeping in bed with her because they were both all the other had and then he lost her.

Abigail admittedly went straight back to sleeping in Jack's room for a few weeks after he timewarped because she was just so sad to have her son back so soon, so young. And he needed it. Takes a white noise machine or music for him to sleep if there's no one there because sleeping alone has always meant displacement or mourning.

Isaac doesn't have a guest room so every time he crashes there it's a routine of pillow walls 'stay on your side of the bed, morgan' 'it's my bed, marston' only to be starfish sprawled arm around each other in their sleep. Very much one of the unacknowledged reasons he spends so much time at Isaac's.

Not only Kieran needing routine but everyone needing to know Kieran's routine because they feel a compulsion to check on him every once in a while just in case because of the guilt of not doing enough the first time he went missing when it SHOULD have been a massive red flag in 1899.

🧽 A Stupid Child’s Play AU I Came Up With 🧽

I usually don’t make AU’s, but this is an idea I had in mind 2 months ago back in August. I was re-watching the very first Child’s Play movie from 1988 and watched a few YouTube analysis videos of some of the characters, and some videos about the lore of the franchise, and an idea suddenly popped up in my mind while watching them…

“What if Chucky wasn’t a sociopathic serial killer trapped in a doll’s body?”

I was also heavily inspired by that one piece of Friday the 13th fanart where Jason is depicted as a fellow camp counselor at Camp Crystal Lake instead of the iconic slasher we all know and love. I thought it was super adorable and wholesome, and thought I could do the same for the Child’s Play series.

I haven’t exactly thought of why Chucky would still be sentient if he wasn’t possessed by anybody, but imma just say for now that voodoo magic happened lol

So while in my AU Chucky doesn’t murder anyone, he’s still an asshole, because, let’s be real, this wouldn’t be Chucky if he wasn’t a jerk 💀

He still lives with the Barclays, and the things that happen in my AU are basically kind of similar to that of a slice-of-life show, or a sitcom. It mostly consists of Chucky pissing off and bothering Andy’s mom, Karen (though she gets her payback in the end most of the time), coercing Andy into doing outlandish and wild stuff, or just them hanging out and bein’ buddies. Yup, unlike the movies, these two are actually friends till the end…well, at least to Andy. Chucky still sees the kid as a nuisance. 

Their friendship in my AU is a Spongebob and Squidward-type dynamic, Andy enjoys hanging out with ol’ Chuck and doing fun things with him such as playing video games, or even sneaking him into school sometimes, much to his chagrin. Chucky somewhat cares for him deep down, but he won’t say it to his face, because, again, this is Chucky we’re talking about lol

In a nutshell, my whole AU is just about a young boy and his magical talking foul-mouthed doll going on wacky adventures and doing funni shenanigans together.

For the context of this image, Chucky made a bet with Andy on who can score the highest points in a video game, and whoever lost would be on dish duty for a whole week. Chucky came close to winning, but it was obvious that Andy had the upper hand, and now Chucky became the dish dog (or in this case, doll lmao) for the entire week. But don’t worry, he’ll get him back somehow.

I need some wholesome content for them to cope after chapter 13 T-T Love your previous headcanons btw, you really capture the personality of each of the characters perfectly!

Here's a bone for the grieving widows out there! I do wanna note that this one kind of got away from me -- I decided to share it anyway, but if you would like me to do a continuation or a completely different headcanon set that's more in line with the original request, feel free! I promise I won't be upset.

Below the cut due to mentions of passive su*cidal ideation.

Romantic relationship between Julien and m!Chief (Julien lives AU)

The chances of Julien surviving BR-002 were about the same as the chances of a Paradeisian treating a Syndican well. So, when the news reached him that Julien had been recovered alive, the Chief couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief and thank every deity he could think of.

Still, Julien’s condition after his separation from the BR-002 Corpus was terrible, and he would not wake up. Chief expected this, to a degree, recalling Zoya and BR-004 – and it was that same memory that caused him to lean on his connections a bit, convincing the higher ups to let Julien be brought to the MBCC as he recovered. He didn’t want yet another person important to him slipping through his fingers.

Thankfully, the transfer to the MBCC went off without a hitch. Chief found himself constantly at Julien’s bedside, fussing and fretting, and several times he had to be thrown out by Iron or Anne. Still, he wasn’t alone; misery loves company, as they say, and Donald was a frequent companion, as were Lavina and some others from the Drifter Camp.

It took several weeks for Julien to finally open his eyes, but when he did, the Chief was right there. Upon hearing that weak, raspy voice say his name, Chief’s heart leapt into his throat, and he was on his feet yelling for a doctor before he could fully process what was happening.

Iron shooed him out of the room while she checked on Julien, so that turned into a lot of anxious pacing while waiting for news. Thankfully, when it arrived, it was on a positive note – Julien’s condition was abysmal and he’d be stuck in the medical ward for what was likely to be months, but he’d make it.

As soon as he was allowed inside again, Chief rushed back to Julien’s side. When the architect laid eyes on him, he gave a weak smile. “There you are. Tell me, what has become of Drifter Camp?”

The conversation that followed was a bittersweet one. Julien mostly listened as the Chief filled him in, as his memory from his time as a Corpseborne was hazy at best. The Chief’s tongue felt like lead in his mouth, his heart in his throat as he tried not to stumble over his words.

When the explanations were finished, Julien was silent for a long moment, before he sighed and closed his eyes. The Chief almost panicked, but then he spoke: “So it’s… finally over then. Rustfire, no, all of the West District owes you a great debt, Chief. I… must admit I did not expect to have the chance to thank you personally, but… I am glad that it turned out this way.”

Still, there’s a certain underlying melancholy to Julien’s words that seemed to suggest that he would much rather be at eternal rest. The Chief frowned, but before he could confront Julien on it, Iron once again shooed him out to let the patient get some rest.

Chief continued to visit Julien in the medical ward whenever he could. At first, it was a lot of one-sided conversation, with the architect very rarely chiming in. Chief told himself that was fine, Julien was still recovering after all, and tried to ignore the way it made him feel like he was speaking to a corpse.

It was hard for the Chief to find a good moment to talk about that. Whenever he’d gather up the courage to broach the topic, he’d take one glance at Julien’s weary features and his resolve would shatter and scatter to the wind. And yet, that sense that Julien would rather not be here never fully went away.

The months of Julien’s recovery were slow, but Chief found himself developing tumultuous emotions towards the architect. Julien was a dear friend, yes, even if he’d done some things that annoyed Chief to no end, but lately… He felt… something more? Nightmares weren’t uncommon for him, and Julien crumbling to dust just like Earl had done a year ago was an image that was now seared into his brain, but lately it had been… more gut-wrenching than normal.

One day, when he came to visit, he found Julien out of bed, sitting in a wheelchair by the false window. He was gazing out with a slight frown on his face, and the sterile light of the medical ward definitely didn’t do anything to highlight him like rays of sunlight or anything similarly poetic and yet that was the defining moment it hit Chief:

“Shit, I’m in love with him.”

He must have fallen into a reverie because the next thing he knew, Julien was calling out to him. He shook himself and walked forward with a smile, congratulating the architect on no longer being bed-bound. Julien quipped that it wasn’t like he was going anywhere on his legs, to which Chief replied that being confined to a room is still a minor improvement over being confined to just a bed. This won him a small chuckle which set his heart aflutter.

Chief didn’t mention his newly-realized feelings as Julien moved into a new stage of recovery, but he still spent pretty much every free second he could at the architect's side. It wasn't uncommon for Chief to fall asleep in his room and wake up to one of the medical staff having put a blanket over him so as to not disturb them.

Julien would talk more now than he used to; in some ways it was like a role reversal as Chief would find himself silently nodding along as Julien talked for hours about his designs. He didn't always understand, but it made Julien happy to talk about, so he was happy to listen.

Chief did manage to finally confront Julien about the melancholy he'd noticed so long ago. Julien gave a sad smile. “It's true, I don't necessarily feel as though I deserve to be here,” he said, and Chief frowned, opening his mouth to protest. Julien held up a hand. “But lately I've found that… perhaps there are reasons for me to stick around, after all.” Now, his smile brightened, and Chief had to quickly look away to maintain his composure. He wondered if Julien could hear his pounding heartbeat. It sure felt like he should be able to.

Eventually, the day came that Chief was both anticipating and dreading. Julien had fully recovered, and no longer needed to stay in the MBCC; he'd been away from Drifter Camp for over a year, and he was desperate to go back.

Chief went with him, and when it was time for them to part ways, he found it difficult to find the words he wanted to say. Due to their responsibilities, they both knew they'd be seeing each other more scarcely from here on out. Chief had to say something…

Julien spoke first. “Well, I suppose this is it. I must thank you, Chief, for being at my side for this past year. Know that I will… never forget this kindness. You will always be welcome in Drifter Camp.”

Chief swallowed the lump in his throat. He hated the finality of this moment, but he had to say something. “Julien, there's something I need to tell you. I…”

The architect lifted a hand to stop him. “Have mercy on this poor old fool, Chief,” he said softly. “Fate conspires to keep us apart. I've… enjoyed our time together, just the same as you. But speaking those feelings aloud… I fear my heart would never recover.”

Chief wasn't able to find a satisfactory response before Lavina and others from the Drifter Camp appeared to whisk their leader away, leaving him standing there alone in the chill wind.

Chief swallowed down the lump in his throat and turned back to the car waiting to take him back to the MBCC. He'd see Julien again, he knew – the other wasn't dead, and relations with Drifter Camp would be important.

Still, the weight of a heart torn from its most beloved was a heavy burden to bear.

Heyy soo ive read ur “Dad Optimus to Roddy’ AU” and i rylly love it its rylly wholesome and could you pls tell me some other stuff abt including like what happens later on when hot rod is raised by ultra magnus?

So I am going to assume the AU you're referring to is this fantasy au where OP is Roddy's dad? Because that's the only post I can find where I went in any sort of detail describing headcanons and such.

The other one I have is a more general fluff fic where Optimus is Roddy's dad and later adopts Bumblebee, which I wrote a fic for. That one is more inspired by musings with my friend @ultracreativelywritten and she wrote a bunch of fics in the same universe.

But if it's not that one then I will get back to elaborating on the headcanons in the first fic mentioned. Some details have changed about it whilst I was working on the story so now is probably a good time to go over them anyway. Here we go:

So in this au I made each successive Prime be the child of the last one (Rodimus is the son of Optimus, and Optimus is the son of Sentinel Prime).

As you can imagine, Sentinel is not a great dad.

Sentinel was never happy with OP marrying Elita cos she wasn't from a royal family. Despite lots of pressure Sentinel has never been able to convince OP to remarry.

Later OP carried Roddy so it's too late, there's nothing Sentinel can do now. Roddy is in line to take the throne once he comes of age.

So one major change is that when Roddy is born the Autobots and Decepticons are in a state of peace. It's a very tense peace, but still there is no war when Roddy is born.

It does however start up again when the Decepticons launch a completely unprovoked attack (or so Sentinel says) which is why OP is called to war and has to leave Roddy with Magnus.

Magnus does his best to parent Roddy, but he does struggle. Mostly because his teaching style doesn't quite match Roddy (Magnus learnt by sitting in total silence and reading as instructed, which suits so badly for Roddy's constant need to move).

Despite all this Magnus is still trying his best. He is just bad at expressing the more emotional side of parenting (probably doesn't help that in this au I made his dad Tyrest)

Roddy misses his dad immensely, and Magnus is struggling to fill that void.

And then Galvatron shows up.

That's right baby! This is the OG Galvadad au! I was working on this one before the version I posted up.

But basically when a bunch of Decepticons led by Galvs camp outside the forest Roddy sneaks out to meet them and Galvs gets impressed by Roddy's gumption, and eventually agrees to train him as a Decepticon.

Magnus notices that Roddy is more engaged during history class (though mostly he's been correcting Magnus and saying the history is too biased towards the Autobots, and Magnus has no idea where he got that from.

Things basically start to escalate as Roddy keeps sneaking out more to hang out with Galvs and his crew.
