Ramón loves Fit, he cares about his dad more then anything. HE WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR HIM. and he's fully aware that Fit really, truly has only HIM. yes there's Phil and now Tubbo too. but Fit didn't tell them about his mission, he doesn't trust them, not quite like he trusts Ramón and they don't care about Fit like Ramón does. i would bet that this kid would willingly give one or even BOTH of his lives if it saved Fit. Ramón just wants to be happy. and he won't ever be unless Fit is. AND VICE VERSA. they both love each other so much. Fit stated multiple times that the mission will not bring harm to Ramón (and Pac), but if it somehow turned out otherwise. Fit would be done for. i'm 100% sure that at this point, Fit would give up his own freedom to save Ramón. even if he had to be thrown back into the hellscape that is 2b. "as long as Ramón is safe, i don't mind never seeing him again. as long as he's safe" [paraphrased]

Pac seemed like he HOPED it became truth. actually it must be incredibly harrowing to experience firsthand the sheer abject terror people feel at the idea of Liliana appearing and questioning someone's loyalty to the Imperium. It makes total sense for Imogen to strongly and decisively affirm that she is working toward the destruction of her mother after having seen--and heard in his head!--how Amido reacted to her. No one experiences that level of fear if there have no been previous incidents of horrific violence leveled toward them or people they've known, and having that attached to the idea of her mother? Yeah, I would vow to end her, too

he's playing nice with blink and runt exclusively because he needs them to get back up to the surface. I'm 100% sure the three of them are gonna get roped into some larger thing and forced to spend more time around each other, but if that WEREN'T the case, he would drop them the moment they stopped being useful to him. MAYBE he'd keep up the "yea I'll get u medical supplies whatevs" part of his deal with blink, but after that he wouldn't spare a single fucking thought to them, or to anyone else living down there. at the end of the day, he doesn't give a shit. like say what you will about him being stupid (he is) but he sure as hell knows how to walk the line between "vaguely decent guy, probably fun to party with," and "selfish piece of garbage"

the most blatant example being his interactions with runt; asking for her name bc that's generally what you do when you meet someone, runt saying it doesn't matter bc he's drunk and won't remember it, and troy going yk I'm glad you said that bc I don't actually give a fuck :) in response. like he does his best to sound friendly when he asks, but the moment she disregards it, he drops it. because she doesn't mean anything to him! blink is the one he's stuck with.

this is what he does! this is what he's good at! he's clearly charismatic, but he doesn't have any "friends" besides lint, because this is how he is with everyone. this is how he treats every relationship he's ever had. his friendship with lint is one of convenience, because lint just goes with everything he does. and that's useful! who needs real friends when your personal doormat will listen to you rant about whatever the fuck AND validate your feelings?

I do think getting stuck with blink and runt could get the idea that a person's value isn't determined by how useful they are to him through his thick fucking skull. I do think he could actually forge a real bond with them. but to do that, he has to acknowledge that his behavior is fucked up, and he has to be willing to change.

Stillborn? No, still born au -- Dani Phantom! Clone girl herself. :]

She can't exist in this au. And it's not that I don't want to add her -- although I'll be blunt, I don't, I'll be the first to admit that I think she's more often than not nothing more than a narrative deadweight used to prop up Danny and I don't like adding characters as props -- but her existence quite literally goes against and muddies the Vlad and Danny dynamic I have for this au. Ellie's existence in canon itself states that she was created -- and Danny's other clones too -- because Vlad gave up on trying to convert him to his side and decided to just make a son instead.

Something that just, doesn't happen in the stillborn-still born au. See, for folks who are only just hearing about this au or didn't see my post about Vlad in this au, he and Danny have a complicated love-hate relationship where they mutually want to adopt each other, but their morals and way of doing things -- mainly Vlad's insistence on getting revenge against the Fentons -- gets in the way of them being able to do that in full.

Vlad knows Danny wants him to adopt him, and is only fighting him on it because he refuses to let Vlad kill the Fentons for essentially killing the both of them. He's succeed in 50% of his goal. Canon Vlad never even made it to 1%. With that in mind, stillborn Vlad has no reason and sees no reason to clone Danny, he has his son. He just needs to convince him to let him avenge them both.

Dani simply has no place in the stillborn-still born au. And in fact, if Vlad did decide to clone Danny -- for whatever reason, -- it would damage his relationship with Danny damn near beyond repair. That's because Danny would view it the same way he views Damian's existence; as a replacement for himself. He would become beyond furious and hurt, and not for the typical 'I can't believe you cloned me, you creep!' reason, but for a 'I can't believe you cloned me, you said I was your son!' reason.

I am not pulling any punches here when I say Danny wants Vlad to be his dad just as much as Vlad wants Danny to be his son, there's just a lot of factors getting in the way. They are, as the french say, ✨mentally unwell.✨ Danny has a ton of abandonment and trust issues due to his experiences in foster care. He would immediately become jealous, insecure, and incredibly furious and hurt. He'd despise her on principal and want nothing to do with her, or Vlad for that matter. He'd just fucking haaate her. It's not her fault she was made but Danny doesn't really care, he's lashing out and pushing people away because he's been betrayed yet again.

The only way they could get along or for Danny to actually like her in any capacity would be if it was his idea to clone himself. Which is like, kinda obvious but considering most clone plots tend to be non-consensual it's kinda gotta be said. He has to have a hand in creating her, that's the only way I can see him liking her in any way. Or if someone other than Vlad created her. If Vlad clones him though, all bets are off the table and he'll despise her.

TL;DR: Dani can't exist in this au because she goes against the narrative I've got for the two most fucked up half-dead could-be-father-son duo in existence, but if she did exist Danny would despise her.

I genuinely cannot describe how deeply DEVASTATED I am about riz being the only one who can take stress tokens for the others. Yes fig is a protector and will fight endlessly for her friends and I love that about her but there is something about the way riz loves his friends. It’s a more subtle kind of love, but just as relentless and passionate and he will take any burden for the people he cares about and bear the weight of it on his shoulders so they don’t have to deal with it without any hesitation. I am ILL.
