I haven't been great at keeping anything but the DeviantART updated, and even then updates have been spotty because inspiration and addition comes and goes, heh. Anyway--

I enjoy being able to utilise some of my queer characters to help conceptualise and educate about different aspects of identity. Here, asexual Skyler Rae Jackson and aromantic Amir (not yet surnamed) chat about being aro/ace. Amir's shirt might be a bit on the nose--at first design, I wasn't sure what I wanted his shirt pattern to be. I slapped on the aroace flag temporarily, but quite enjoy it as it is.

I plan to tackle some queer issues in the show, if it ever comes to fruition, but this won't be an actual scene. It's just an offshoot comic.

Goled is a 4’6”, 19 year old, freshmen college basketball player in the great white north of Canada, and the Leo-Dog. You may be asking yourself how someone as short as Goled made it onto a basketball team. Well a lot of his teammates assume it’s thanks to his prosthetic leg that he can move so maneuverably and insane jumping height. He’s never quite made a dunk before, but he gets close. He’s quick on his feet and a lot the time he’s tough to grab or intercept. Though in a sea of players his own teammates have trouble picking him out of the crowd whenever he has the ball. Goled cannot quote explain his great jumping skills and tends to dismiss the rumors of his prosthetic giving him an advantage. Though he does know something strange allows him to play as well as he does. 

Goled houses the Emerald Birthstone within his Right Eye and this bestows him with the power to control fire. Goled can absorb, shape, and start fires all with his mind. He can even control how hot the flames will be and focus them into blue flames for added damage. Fire no longer hurts him as it has become apart of him, though he always feels incredibly hot to the point of extreme swearing, and has to be careful of the metals and plastics in his prosthetic as he wouldn’t want to singe or melt it.
