Quick update!

Hi everyone! It's been a while! I'm really happy to announce that after a sort-of hiatus from writing and social media, I'm finally done with school and back into fandom life!!! That means I'm finally at the point where I can respond to the tons of asks I've gotten over the past few *coughs awkwardly* months (so sorry to those who sent me things and didn't get a response!!). I will be responding to those soon, and if you sent me something important or tagged me in something and I didn't see it, please feel free to DM me or tag me a second time.

I'm also really happy to announce that my editor and I are hard at work putting the finishing touches on a new Dominoes chapter! I'm planning on doing something just a little bit different this update. Instead of posting one huge chapter like I usually do, I thought it might be interesting to divide it into smaller chunks so that you guys don't have to wait quite as long for updates. Hopefully I'll have another chapter ready by the time the last segment is ready to publish, so that you get more consistent content. So expect three shorter (but equally exciting) updates coming very soon within the next little bit!

Damian doesn't like wearing hero merch (except nightwing), but he does collect every art supply he finds that has his family's logo on it. Those batman pencils you can find in every corner store? He has like 10. Nightwing themed ballpoint pen? He grabbed it the moment it came out. An off-brand Red Hood pen he saw in a second hand shop? It has red ink, and he corrects his friends homework with it. He even has a Red Robin eraser he found on etsy. Neon colored markers with Signals logo, a black brush set called 'Black Bat Brush Box', or a purple grafity can in the shade 'Spoiler'. It doesn't matter if it's official or not, he has it.

I learned more about the dead of Ceasar from this one post than I did from both history class and my play reading

Under D&D rules, a dagger does 1d4 base damage. The average human has a Strength score of 10, adding no bonuses. Several of them, due to the military background of many, likely had strength or dexterity scores of 11-14. But only two or three, and quite a few would be frail with old age, sinking to 8-9 strength. All in all, we can only add a total of +1 damage per round from Brutus.

An estimate of sixty men were involved in Caesar’s actual murder. Not the wider conspiracy, but the stabbing.

Julius Caesar was a general, which is generally depicted as a 10th level fighter. Considering his above baseline constitution and dex, weakened by his probable history of malaria, epilepsy, and/or strokes (-1 dex modifier), and lack of armor at the time of the event, he would likely have something along the lines of AC 9 and 60 HP. The senators would likely hit him roughly 55% the time.

So the Roman senate had a damage-per-round of 66, more than enough to kill Caesar in one round even without factoring in surprise round advantage.
