SSR Gravity Falls AU

Or Soviet Sock Rhapsody for short.

This will take place during the Sock Opera episode of Gravity Falls, it's basically just a one-shot from a funny idea I had, feel free read the sort of Basic Premise below!!!

Basic Premise;

A Soviet spy who's been sent to track down and capture Stanley pines finds himself in the small town of Gravity Falls. He's about 13 years old (Basically a teen) and has found himself in the theater for research, unfortunately capitalist pigs have made it so he needs a library card in order to obtain the books. So, he's going around getting info by word of mouth when he stumbles upon a puppet show. It gives him a flashback to his childhood, where his very poor orphanage would put on sock puppet showd for entertainment, before the government took him, that is.

He decides to sit close to the back and enjoy the show, he deserves a short break. He watched the entire show, enjoying the nostalgia, the song the performer (Gabe) was singing was very similar to the one back in the orphange

He has a flashback to the song, they'd sing;

“All my life I've been working for a land that's right for me. And now I finally know her name and it's… The Motherland!” And everyone would wave their tiny soviet flags. (Smth like that, this is subject to change)

He claps when the puppet show has ended, and wanted to go talk/meet the performed behind when he was rudely cut off by a girl with a bright pink sweater with a yellow horse on it, she has braces and long brown hair. She rode in a bookshelf with wheels. She spoke to the peformer till she introduced herself; “Hey, guess who's Mabel Pines? I am! Care to learn more? I bet you do, especially with how you shine!”

The young soviet spy snapped back to reality, he recognized the girl's name, Mabel Pines, like, Stanley Pines! He had found a relative of hid target, now he knew for sure he was in the right place…

And so, antics like that ensue, along with all the stuff with Bill going on, now they get to deal with this random Soviet that's after Stan! Perhaps leading them to an early discovery, that their Grunkle isn't exactly who he says he is… Grenda at some point falls for the spy (sort of like Marius, but this is before she meets him), it's funny, trust!

Idk, I think this is a fun little idea, I got reminded of Camp Camp recently, and I remembered it had an episode with a similar concept and I got major inspiration from it, so, expect some sort of reference when I actually go write the one shot! Hope ya'll like the idea, I'll make a post in the near future of the fully written 1-Shot.

Also, I think the name is funny, because SSR also stands for "Soviet Socialist Republic."

Another name I'm considering is "Undeniably a Soviet Sock Rhapsody" or USSR, for short, but, let me know your thoughts!

I had a funny thought about them today and had to draw them- Tempted to continue writing about them but eh.

Contrary to popular belief, Stan loves this little grub in disguise with all his heart and soul and if anyone touches a hair on his head- He WILL throw hands no questions asked.

Nothing specific, but I do prefer more floral scents, and nothing too overpowering, I have a sensitive nose 🥺

2. Sleep with lights on/off and door open/closed?

I sleep with the lights off and my door closed, I prefer to be closer to the wall if I am falling asleep, which is usually my right side.

3. Hot/Cold Caffeinated Coffee/Tea?

I LOVE Black tea (preferably hot/warm), as for coffee I like a good ol' Mocha Frappe, so, ice Cold! Lol

4. Same Username for all socials?

Sure do! For Discord, Call Casting Club, YouTube, Instagram, Tik Tok, Ao3 And Pretty Much All of the above!

5. White shoes yay or nay? Why?

I definitely prefer black shoes, any/all white shoes I've had get super dirty because I like to be outside, so, I'd prefer to have darker shoes.

6. What song is stuck in your head right now?

Dr. Gaster by Shadrow- It's so peak, one of my all time favorite songs, I always feel like ascending after listening to it, asbolute peak!

7. 3 20-minute episodes or 1 hour movie?

I prefer the episodes honestly, I feel like I could pick the show back up if I had to do something in between in comparison to a movie, you know? I've also always just preferred shows, feels more long term!

8. Would you still love the person you tagged if they were a worm?

Yeah, they're a pretty cool individual- If they turned into a worm I'd make a nice little Terrarium for em or something, but I'm sure they could figure something out, they're pretty talented after all! If I did have them for whatever reason, I'd try to keep them away from my cat who would 100% eat them- Which, I would rather not occur... lol
