At the end of the day McLaren treated him and his exit better than Red Bull ever did. And this was after all their 'welcome back home Daniel. we're not going to mistreat u like in McLaren' bs.

He might not have performed enuf to deserve that red bull seat, or even the vcarb one, but he's done enuf this year and for the past 13 years to deserve a respectful farewell.
