Interman / Interboy flag!

Hey, so as an interman (or interboy) I noticed we really didn’t have any flags floating around besides the one on the LGBTQIA wiki. So, I decided to make my own.

The yellow & purple stripe(s) represent being intersex (which is inspired by the  intersex flag), the blue represents a unique type of manhood due to being intersex, and the white-ish yellow stripes represent the diverse kinds of masculinity, femininity, genders, expression, and joy in the intersex community.

The Mars-Mercury symbol (I gotta come up with a better name for it at some point) is on the flag as well. I thought it was a way better fit than the usual Mercury symbol and Earth symbol to represent being intersex, as the Mars sign is usually associated with men and masculinity. I have included a version without the symbol as well, if that’s what you prefer :D

Also you ABSOLUTELY DO NOT have to be CTM, IAMAB, or AMAB to use this term or flag.

sometimes it hurts a lot to be intersex. mentally or physically or both.

and that's okay.

it's normal. biology is beautiful. it's okay to be different.

they won't let you think that. but I will.

sometimes you feel alone and alienated. our experiences are unique from any queer person or any non-queer person. it's hard for them to understand.

and it's not always their fault.

but it's NEVER YOUR fault either.

sex is and never will be a strict, rigid box. every biological difference has a spectrum. we are no exception.

we are used as propaganda. we are used as fetishes. we are used as experiments. we are used as examples. but that's not what we really are.

we are beautiful. we are different. we show that there are no rules to sex and gender AND sexuality.

but most importantly: we are OURSELVES.

and no matter how mad it might make someone, queer or not; it's okay.

be yourself. be your proud intersex self. you are loved. you are different. you are beautiful. you are handsome. and that is okay.
