Who is Molly?

There are a million ways to answer this question. Molly to me is a wife, a best-friend, a therapist, she has the ability to calm an hostile situation or hype up a boring one, she is Swedish and is proud of it, my other half, and now business partner.

Molly came into my life through a strange series of events causing us to wind up in the same room at a particular time, in a particular setting, sitting close enough that I felt comfortable complimenting her shirt. All of a sudden, boom…..friendship formed.

Molly has a wide variety of talents that put her far an beyond many a kind. Born and raised in Sweden, her mom married a man from New York and thus created Molly, a traveling human from country to country learning two languages at once, in addition to culture and ways of life. Her experiences have shaped her mind in a way so eloquently, she is able to be as incredible as she is at the age of 21. Many recognize Molly from her height, being that of very tall, she makes a presence in a room nobody can ignore, nor would they want to. Often being the center of attention without even trying, she has an aura many are drawn to off the spot. I’m lucky to have someone so mindful and caring in my life, never mind as my best-friend, and I am honored to share such a podcast with her.

WE HAVE SURVIVED A LOT… Discrimination, blackouts, breakups, hookups, friendships, enemies (?), ups and downs, graduations, commencements, family parties, traveling… you name it.

Our lives have never been simple and we never want them to be. We have a drive unlike any other and it is only due to that which we both bring into one another’s lives.

Sparknotes on Molly, for a future pop quiz: - The proud owner of an every changing hair color, as unique as she is. - Disheveled, yet the most put together one in the room. - Celiac, but too polite to emphasize the allergy. (Where I come in) - Sagittarius, and unknowing of her other signs. - Strong, and willing to stand up for herself and others. - Queer, and proud of it. - Self Aware, yet cognizant of others opinions. - Respectful, and always there for you. - Much more quirky than I am. - Much better at being spontaneous than I am. - Honestly, the other half of me. - Loves the water - Loves the cold - Loves her cats (Alfred and Clancy) - Loves meeting people almost as much as I do. - Doesn’t have her license. - Gives away her clothes just as often as she buys new ones. - Loses everything constantly. - Mad cute. 

There is so much she brings to the table and you will be witness to it through word and through this blog. Fall in love with her, she’s great. Take my advice, it’s the best decision you could make.

Who is Seantel

Basics:

- is getting her Masters in Architecture - 22 years young - writes poetry and posts videos of it HERE - is from Massachusetts BUT SEANTEL IS SO MUCH MORE THAN THE BASICS She is my wife. She is the light of my life. She is a light in a lot of peoples lives. I’ll try not to brag on her behalf as she has a long running impressive list of achievements that I could read off; from being the commencement speaker at her college graduation to submerging herself in the poetry scene. But don’t be intimidated, instead feel humbled by the fact that she almost poops herself when she eats dairy and that her saliva is alarmingly bouncy? If I have to describe Seantel in one word? Fire. She a SAGITTARIUS. She passionate. She doesn’t stop until someone literally tells her to chill. And she can’t swim - appropriate fire sign tendencies. I told her I wanted to start a podcast and almost immediately started drawing our ‘logo’, while also having a thousand other things on her plate. Impressed? I sure am.

Seantel, -doesn’t like being upside down -rides her bike EVERYWHERE -sweats A LOT -is a bed hog (rude) -has perfect teeth -has teeny feet -has two cats (Roma and Clark) -can dance (tap is her specialty) -loves poached eggs (gets turned on by watching the egg yolk run) -has had her heart broken -but has also learned to live and grow despite/because of that -has thrown up in my hands (mhm) -is of average height -often loses her voice (usually because of singing karaoke with me)

I think Seantel is pretty swell, and something tells me you’ll think so as well, so why don’t you stick around and figure that out for yourself?

Brunch On Fridays?

Good morning? Or afternoon? Whatever the time is when you’re reading this; welcome, to our blog feat. our podcast.

You might be asking, who the hell are these idiots? Which is valid, so get comfortable and let me introduce to you... US (Molly and Seantel).

We are two Boston queers, oftentimes mistaken for a couple, but you don’t have to be a couple just because you’re wives, right?

We tend to do each other more justice than we do ourselves, so we will be doing a more in depth flavor profile of each other in separate posts. ( that sounds mildly inappropriate BUT IT’S NOT, OK) Molly will be introducing Seantel, and Seantel will be introducing Molly. Because who knows them better than the other? NO ONE THAT’S WHO.

So what is the point of this podcast/blog/project?

Basically what we are *trying* to do is invite you into our conversations as we share the absurd happenings of our (and probably most queer individuals) lives.

This is our way of reaching out, with humor and honesty, to connect with a vast array of queers; sharing our stories and thought processes in hopes to start conversation/discussion, in hopes that someone will relate and/or find comfort in possibly similar situations.  

So let’s start this dialog.
