Happy Pride Month!
Happy pride month everybody!
To celebrate, I'm planning to post a first look at my novel, The Last Marigold, later this month.
This month is also FILLED with international pride celebrations, including the anniversary of the legalization of same sex marriage across the United States, a particularly important issue at the moment. If you'd like to learn more, I'd recommend visiting the GLAAD community calendar, which is a list of annual pride celebrations throughout the year.
Whether you're gay, lesbian, bi, trans, or something else entirely, whether you're out or still in the closet, I want to make it clear that you are loved and supported more than you know. No matter who you are, no matter where.

Just to make my positions abundantly clear – diversity is a win, discrimination is not. My books will always feature characters of diverse backgrounds.
I'm still in the process of learning how to write explicit POC, trans, and lesbian characters authentically, but rest assured they will be in future novels.
The Last Marigold features characters that are asexual, gay, biromantic, autistic, and have ADHD – all experiences I myself can relate to in order to write effectively.
On a similar note, I'm also in the process of learning to write other genres and ages, at the moment I'm invested in romance novels with teenage characters, as those are the experiences that resonate with me the most, I have aspirations of branching out to characters with other ages, as well as other genres such as fantasy and sci-fi.
I'll also always be open to suggestions, tutorials, and tips. If at any point you feel up to helping me diversify my writing abilities to more groups, feel free to message me in any way you'd like!

Romance Dialogue Starters
Tender / Confessional Moments
"Come here. Just for a minute."
"You don’t have to be strong all the time."
"Stay. Please, just stay."
"You make me feel safe. That’s terrifying."
"I missed you so much it hurt."
"When I’m with you, I forget to be afraid."
"Is it okay if I hold your hand?"
"You’re not a burden. You never were."
"I wish I’d met you sooner."
"You’re my favorite ‘what if.’"
Protective/Overprotective Behavior
"Where were you? I’ve been calling for hours."
"You could’ve died, you idiot."
"Don’t ever scare me like that again."
"Next time, I’m going with you. No arguments."
"You’re hurt. Let me see."
"I’m not letting you do this alone."
"Overreacting? You bled through your shirt!"
"You think I care what they say? I care about you."
"If anything happens to you, I’ll burn the whole damn world down."
Conflicted Longing
"If I kiss you now, I won’t be able to stop."
"We can’t do this." – "Then don’t look at me like that."
"You’re the last person I should want."
"Tell me to go, and I will."
"I want to hate you. But I don’t."
"This changes everything."
"Just tonight. Just this once."
"You’re always in my head. I hate it."
"You deserve better. But I’m selfish."

TRAVELLER
Have you ever questioned whether the Multiverse actually exists?
What happens when these Universes collide?
What stories will be forged from those ashes?
When Ivy Barron falls into another Universe full of peaceful creatures called the Fae, she quickly finds out that they are at war with another Universe of bloodthirsty creatures called the Fairies.
But are they really the villains of our story?
Or is there another hand at play?
That was the blurb for my book series, A Teen's Guide to Surviving the Multiverse, a fantasy sci-fi book.
Interested?

What are The Last Marigold and All My Stars?
The Last Marigold is my upcoming debut novel, which I'm planning to release in 2027, although plans may change.
All My Stars is a spin-off story set as a continuation of the story of The Last Marigold, following one of the minor characters, allowing me to expand my books' world.
Note that use of a continuation, not the continuation. It is not the definitive continuation. At the moment, there isn't one. There may be in the future, but as of now there is no canonical, definitive continuation, which would exist as a sequel book rather than a spin-off.
Both books will exist as stand alone romance novels, you will not need to read The Last Marigold to understand or appreciate All My Stars, the references will be very minimal. This post is just meant to clear up possible future confusion revolving around the canonicity of my books.

Hey you! Yes, you! Gay ass teenager scrolling Tumblr! Do you like reading? Ever found a book that just gets you? No? Well too bad 'cause I'm writing a book anyways!
I'm an independent author from Canada currently writing my debut novel The Last Marigold, I'm planning to release a short story (completely separate from The Last Marigold) in order to showcase my writing abilities next year, hoping leading to releasing The Last Marigold in 2027.
I'll be posting updates here and on my (free) Patreon for as long as it takes for both books to be ready, and I have a few more books with some loose outlines planned.
Why don't you grab some coffee and just hang around for a bit?
