Looking more into Bruce’s grief in relation to Jason can be really interesting to me.

I think that after someone passes especially a child it's really easy to imagine them as perfect. In Bruce's head he remembers this smiling kid but he hallucinates Jason as Robin and the physical reminder he has of Jason is of his suit in the case.

I like to imagine that like how he overly separates Bruce and Batman he dose so with Jason too. Using the Robin as a scorn and a punishment for himself and others but also only remembering Jason out side the suit as a happy child.

A happy child that would never want him to murder the joker like it's another reason why it's okay that he didn't kill him. So when Jason comes back he's not Robin and not the smiling child that’s in Bruce’s memories and he doesn't know how to sort him out.

It’s interesting to imagine Bruce fighting with himself on weather he should kill the joker after his first attempt. The grief is less sharp and maybe it’s his morals that convinces him in the end or maybe there’s some part of him that believes that Jason wouldn’t want him to become a killer.

Jason could have felt safe in Bruce’s house because he knew that Bruce thinks that everyone is worth saving so maybe a street rat like him can be saved too. There is no line that is “too much” for Batman.

Maybe that is the case or maybe that’s just what he hoped that Jason felt. He hoped that Jason felt loved and accepted to matter what. And that’s the last push he had into firmly not killing the joker.

This is what pushing through art block looks like for me. Some days I just can’t draw no matter how much I really want to. I’ve been messing with this canvas for like three days and finally I was happy enough to just leave it. Sometimes I can get in my head after looking at all the amazing artist on tumblr and I just get in my head about my sketches not looking as good as there’s is. So I’m just going to post this as like a message to myself and others ITS FINE TO HAVE BAD ART DAYS/I CAN POST SOMETHING EVEN IF ITS NOT GOOD
