Here's a lil snippet from a fic I'm working on,,, it's a Red Robin run AU where instead of fucking off with Ra's, Tim actually turns to Jason for help finding Bruce. Jason isn't really chill with the family yet as a preface. I'llllll post this full fic eventually when i finish it and edit it :) but for now here's a snippet

“Please,” Tim says again, forcing his tone level and letting none of that hysteria leak into his voice. It doesn’t stop the shake in his hands though, knowing if Jason turned him away- “he’s alive. I just need help. I just need-” 

“What? You just need what, Replacement?” Jason growls. 

“I just need someone to believe me,” he admits, and only then ducks his head. He’s waiting for it, for Jason’s sneer, the cruel words- but he’s met with silence. 

He looks up, only to be met with Jason’s blank expression. Then the gun lowers, and Jason opens his door wider. 

It’s enough of a shock that Tim just blinks at him, rooted in place.

Jason scowls, “Get the fuck in before I change my mind.”

Reverse Robins snippet

This came to me in a vision while I was working on my main reverse robins fic and I had to write it instantly. It's rough and unedited so please have mercy

Might end up being a full fic as part of my reverse robins au. I have so many ideas and plans for this holy shit

The main fic of my au will be the Tim searching for Jason idea, but I might toss one shots around of other ideas for this.

ANYWAy. I present to you, how tim gets added to the family..... sorta

“Little brother,” Cass says, presenting Bruce with the 10 year old she apparently kidnapped.

Timothy Jackson Drake looks terrified, a camera hanging around his neck. His gaze keeps darting around the cave, landing on Bruce’s cowled face a few times before he’s quickly looking away. 

Timothy Jackson Drake also has two very much alive parents who live next door. 

“Batgirl,” he says, “You can’t take kids off the street.” 

“We did try to stop her,” Duke offers, sheepish and apologetic. “Emphasis on *tried*.” 

"I said we should bring him home, not to the *cave*. She apparently took home to mean here," Damian grumbles, and the scowl on his face would be adorable if Bruce didn't have other pressing matters at hand.

Namely the 10 year old boy his daughter kidnapped.

He sighs, and would pinch the bridge of his nose if he wasn’t wearing the cowl, "Batgirl."

She scowls, lifting Tim towards him. 

“Little brother,” she demands again.

i planned a whole timeline idea out for this thing but basically

Jason dies not long after Kon and Bart die, ((Tim is still part of young justice/titans here)) and steph's apparent death at the hands of black mask also happened earlier. So then Jason dies, and Tim's got the same amount of people who died on him as in the red robin run right?

Well one day, six months later, he's talking to Jason's grave, telling him that the family misses him, that cass is across the world in hong kong, Damian hasn't been home since he killed the Joker- Bruce is spiralling and Duke managed to convince him to go to the circus next month. Oh and Steph came back, and Tim's thrilled, he is but that loss still hurt and he doesn't know what to do with it all

The dirt in front of the grave looks like it's been disturbed. The grass is patchy in a spot, like it had been ripped up and attempted to be replaced.

So Tim goes into theory mode. Jason's grave has been messed with. So he checks it and its empty.

Maybe... maybe Jason is alive? Or at the least someone took his body but.. why? who? how? and why hadn't it been flagged by the cemetary workers?

His grieving family won't help- Bruce is too lost in grief, Damian isn't talking to the family, Duke's too busy and hurting over a lost little brother. Cass and steph though, they believe him and offer to help. So Tim asks steph to fill in as this world's version of robin, knowing Bruce needs someone by his side. Cass though, Cass helps Tim.

And so Tim takes up the red hood mantle the way he took up red robin, needing an identity that can be seen crossing the lines-

cue tim and cass scouring the world for their little brother, eventually finding him with Ra's al ghul, where Tim loses his spleen and jason gets dunked in the pit and eventually everyone goes home

Anyway, hopefully I can get it done. But I'm also working on a few other things, including a story where Bruce dies instead of Jason in Ethiopia but it'll be a while before I post that

Five times the league saw Batman laugh, and the one time he made them laugh! This fic has so many tags, but it's a focus on Bruce Wayne, the justice league, and the batfamily. I originally wrote it with Ezra Miller's flash in mind, but due to ,,,, the current climate of things, I might go through and rewrite this fic. Especially since there's a lot more about Dc that I know about now. But it seems to be one a lot of people like!
