Skittles fanfic idea I'm not gonna write but still wanted to share :

TW for horror, reference to past abuse, and maybe phobias

It's a muggle modern AU where the Skittles are ghost hunters (they're are 16/17-ish I think) but they still have powers -> Regulus can talk to ghosts, Pandora sees the past and Evan hears the (possible) future

Dorcas is the one that drives and Barty is here for the fun, they don't have powers

They use Regulus' to talk and maybe help the ghosts, Pandora's to understand what happened and Evans' to avoid violence (ex : if he hears screams then it means that they have to leave, otherwise it'll become their screams)

One time they go to a house that is known for people going missing in there (they're teenagers and convinced that they're super smart so obviously they go)

Except that the entity in there traps people in their worse fear and it modifies itself so basically the house becomes a maze

The Skittles eventually get separated and :

- Regulus wakes up at a family dinner except he's some sort of puppet : fear of being controlled his whole life (bonus : he looks down and the food is all worm and rotten stuff)

- Pandora hears her friends calling for help but she can't find them. On her way, she keeps meeting cute animals but they end up in atrociois death and she can't save them : fear of not being able to protect her loved ones

- Dorcas finds herself trapped under a really heavy thing that she has to keep lifting in order to survive, she can't do anythong else : fear of not being strong enough and of having to fight to survive her entire life

- Barty doesn’t realise something happened until his friends progressively say things to him that make him understand that he's not welcomed, he's too weird, violent, chaotic, no one wants him : fear of being rejected, of ending up alone

- Evan has hallucinations of his friends trying to kill him and of other things such a big spiders and monsters and he can't say what is true or not : fear of his perception being altered

That's when it becomes awful because rosekiller meets except Evan thinks Barty will try to kill him so he runs away and Barty thinks Evan ran away because he hates him

The Skittles eventually find a way out but some things stay in their mind

I have this idea of Tim's routine as a teenager (before becoming Robin) where he'd come home after school and immediatly go use his laptop

He'd put on his headphones with stuff like Are you satisfied?, Teenagers, Teenage Dirtbag, You're gonna go far, kid... at full volume

And he had the WORSE posture ever, like, when he got up his knees and his back cracked (artist shrimp position level)

They still do it sometimes but the batfam members often correct them because they're gonna end up deaf and with horrible back pain before their 30s at this rate

Except that now the batfam (mostly the older ones) also check if he wore his binder for too long or stuff like that (he used to lie or be super evasive but he has a little tic when he lies that everyone eventually noticed)
