Hi, I just need you to know that your fic, Our Blue Hours, has actually ruined me in the best way possible 😩🤞

I've reread it an embarrassing number of times at this point, and it still hits every single time. I honestly didn't expect to find something so layered and rich for Ghost/ König-because let's be real, most of what's out there is just porn with little to no plot (no shade, but I crave slow burn, tension, power dynamics, depth-you gave it all😩🤞 ty king!!!!!).

And listen— I love GhostSoap. But GhostKönig was actually the first ship I ever really latched onto on my own. Like-two big men. One with deep-rooted emotional repression and trauma, the other with crushing anxiety and a heart the size of Austria. Did I mention they're both massive? The sheer power dynamics??? The emotional constipation??? The potential??? And no one ever writes it the way you did.

Thank you for writing this absolute gem🩷. It made me fall in love with this ship in a way I did NOT expect 🧎‍♂️🧎‍♂️🧎‍♂️

It does mean the world to me that the story has earnestly resonated with people, enough so for them to come back to it! Like hello, this is unbelievably cool to me and will never not be. 🤍🤍🤍

sjhfpiu the lack of long and in-depth Ghost/König centric stuff was what made me write it, like leave it to me to get charmed by characters and pairings that are soooo irrelevant to the canon

› Fics I’d like to highlight:

Our Blue Hours – Ghost/König, codmwii. Seems like a crackpairing but is amongst my favourite things I’ve written so far. The story is deeply personal to me and deals with topics of identity, shame, and moving on. Can be read without prior knowledge of lore and characters.

Superbia - Ancano/Estormo, TES:Skyrim. Another minor pairing that ended up becoming a favourite. The fic adds depth to the existing canon. The main themes are deep rooted insecurity, paranoia and ambition as a fatal flaw. Requires minor knowledge of TES lore and the Winterhold questline.

We Both Know The String Is Always Ready – Daemond, hotd. Considering I usually dislike modern au's it’s a surprise I ever wrote this and it became a favourite. Explores themes of dysfunctional family dynamics, hopelessness. I’d say it’s a short tragedy. Reads almost like an original work and doesn’t require prior knowledge of lore or characters.

The Ruins Of The Day, Painted With A Scar – Daemond, hotd. My most popular fic, not my favourite though, far from it actually. Maybe someday I will overhaul this. I don’t recommend reading this without having seen season 1 at least.

Going to answer this in English;

I'm ethnically Russian but did not grow up there. I've lived in Germany for the vast majority of my life.

I really struggle with the language especially the grammar because I mostly just speak it with my parents, and even then, it's mixed up with German. So I'm aware that I speak it very poorly and that the art I've tried to add it to must have mistakes in it :( I put it in my Dostoyevsky pieces because I felt it would be cool to include original quotes from the book and not just the translation.

I feel these days I don't have much in common with my heritage anymore besides my name, which is saddening to me.

And before anybody asks; I do not agree with or condone the actions of the government. Not in regards to war, the treatment of queer people, and much of the other stuff. These days most headlines are just plain heartbreaking.

Are you going to do a sequel for "Our Blue Hours" or continue the story in any way? I'm so sorry for asking but I've been absolutely obsessed with your writing and emotionally attached to this work.

Unfortunately I don't think I'd write any sequels for Our Blue Hours, as I think they would negate the purpose of the story being told. I do however intend on making more visuals and art for it :)

WIP on some uniform studies I'm doing for König to tie in with my Ghost/König fic "Our Blue Hours"

I usually don't post WIPs but I'm currently unable to continue drawing (broken PC), but I still wanted to post something, and with how buggy ao3 has been this week, I also wanted to let people know that I did upload chapter 16 :) Also I'm trying to set up my Laptop for drawing, so hopefully I can get working on finishing this soon!

The uniform he is wearing in this one is the "Innendienst" one (EN; idk Internal-service-uniform? off-duty uniform? something like that. I've also heard people call it combat dress?)

It's a smidge fancier than the combat- camo uniform that you wear for rolling around in the dirt, but less fancy than the dress uniform.

Bundesheer site describes it as follows:

The uniform is worn by soldiers whenever they do not have to carry out operational or combat tasks - for example in the barracks or when they leave the barracks after duty.

His insignia is that of a first lieutenant;

Beret is the classic olive for Jagdkommando;

As is the troop badge on his arm;

Hi, just wanted to say thank you for your work on ao3 about Konig and Ghost, you are literally the only author who doesnt hate Konig. Like everything written by others on AO3 is so creepy and eyerolling. But you write really serious and interesting thing. I love the plot of your story and your vision of characters. Sorry English is my second language, not sure about particular words when im trying to say smth. Looking forward to read the next chapter. <3

I really enjoyed coming up with a personality and background for both of them, but especially König, since he was pretty much a blank slate. It's always nice to hear others enjoyed it too. I was worried originally because my vision strays from popular fanon, but in the end I've found my people- who also enjoy my portrayal of him 🤍

Can't wait to publish the next chapters! (Only two left now)

And lastly, some miscellaneous stuff from my Brutus piece, such as Baby Aegon & Helaena, the bleeding star and Aemond's faith of the seven Rosary (?)

Some details to point out, beneath the cut;

As always heavy on religious imagery,

the bleeding star is seven-pointed, it is also inspired by Folio 34. Comet (1007) From The Book of Miracles (it's very cool check it out!)

Aemond has the same rosary on page 8/9 as he does on page 2/9

Alicent is obviously also wearing one. (The source of his religious trauma and guilt)

You might notice that I draw Aemond with greyish lips, and here also with dark nails, while nail polish does exist in asoiaf-verse (Dany gets hers painted in Meereen) this is done for other reasons, 1. I want him sickly and ghoulish looking, 2. I have a hc that he micro-doses shade of the evening to "force" prophetic dreams
