Having a low daily word goal doesn't mean you can't write more than that, don't give yourself a word goal that you struggle to reach and subsequently makes you feel bad when you don't

Having a low word count goal keeps you going because the days where you aren't able to write more than a few sentences, scenes, or chapters, you can find solace in the fact that you did in fact reach your goal! And when you write more than the daily goal you will feel super accomplished seeing how far above it you went
