i had a dream that time travel was invented and too many people choose to travel back in time to save the titanic from sinking (the question of whether unsinking of the titanic deserved so much attention in the face of human history was the subject of both heavy academic and online discourse), which caused a rift in the space-time-continuum that led to the titanic showing up indiscriminately all over the world’s oceans and sea in various states of sinking.

this caused a lot of issues both in terms of fixing said space-time-continuum and in terms of nautical navigation, and after a long and heavy battle in the international maritime organization it was decided that the bureaucratic burden of dealing with this was to be upon Ireland, much to their dismay. the Irish Government then released an app for all sailors and seafarers so they could report titanic sightings during their journeys, even though they heavily dissuaded you from reporting them given the paperwork it caused.

anyway i woke up with a clear image of the app in my head and needed to recreate it for all of you:

this question made me realise how jumbled my memories are, and how I dont really have very many vivid memories at ALL

any i do have are very recent, past few dayz, and there are probably some genuine onez but i cannot think of any

even stuff that is super embarrassing, or i was super happy at [ like the first concert i went to this year !! ] or sadder more personal stuff which i wont get into, i cant imagine very vividly? i have a very good memory for factz and dates, like peoples likes or birthdayz etc, but i cant really remember specific momentz well at all...

i cry all the time, like, at least once a week, and then ill often go through phases of crying every day

the reasons will vary, but a lot of the time it will either be stress/overthinking OR more often, me crying over media

i neverr cry in public tho, i can stop myself but as soon as im at home i cant escape BWJABWJANSNSJWNSJSNSNS

but yeah i cry at everything, most movies, shows, comics etc i will probably cry a little bit xD

i dont mind crying at all, i think it is good but SOMETIMES its so annoying.

some things i do remember well are things with my older siblings.

i have this one memory of me walking to school and telling my elder sister how i really looked up to her and how going to her university made me really inspired.

i remember one with my older sibling where they were playing skyward sword and they were stuck and i helped them by noticing something on the map

and i remember one with my eldest brother who made me and my little sibling fish finger sandwiches for lunch when our parents were out and let us watch my little pony films all day

one of the most infuriating things about becoming an adult is when you realize that it actually is 10x easier to solve problems by making a phone call vs literally any other communication method

i feel like a lot of the 'i hate kids' crowd would be more tolerant if they understood that due to a kid's limited experience of the world that 4 hour flight might just be the longest they've ever had to sit still for or that trapped finger might literally be the most pain they've ever felt in their short life or they might not have ever seen a person with pink hair ever so of course they want to touch it or nobody's told them yet that they can't run around the museum and they only just learned cheetahs are the fastest animals so of course they want to put that to the test. how were they supposed to know etc etc.
