Hello! I have a question. What does “enben” mean? Is it a replacement for “enby”?

Hi! Good question!

Enben is the plural of enban, the non-binary gendered equivalent of man/woman. It is derived from the term enby. I prefer to use it because enby was initially understood to be a term that referred to non-binary youth. Whilst not everyone uses it that way, I personally prefer to use enban to describe all non-binary people to both show enben that there is more vocabulary to describe ourselves, but also to subtly uninfantilise non-binary people. Enban is a more adult feeling option. It also helps popularise these terms so other enben as well as binary people are aware of nonbinary vocabulary.

(Decided to combine these two questions cuz I had this little oneshot idea)

Nightmares are almost a constant occurrence in their household. They've all comforted one another at some point.

Donnie's most prominent ones like to put Mikey in the spotlight for sure, and despite his best attempts to stay nonchalant, it hits him like a wrecking ball.

Out of all his brothers, Donatello tends to go to Leo the most when he has these nightmares. Maybe it's a twin thing, maybe it's just something about Leo, but as I've said before, Dee for some reason just feels like he can be his most vulnerable self around Nardo.

As for Leo, it's not really focused on any singular person, (though Raph's "Kraang bits" have left Leo subconsciously on edge, as much as he wishes it didn't.)

Leonardo's pretty good at being aware of his surroundings, but nobody's perfect, and there've been times when people (accidentally) sneak up on him, especially when he's tired or deeply focused on something else.

Living for decades in a world where everything is constantly trying to kill you 24/7 was a hard experience, and he's learned the hard way what happens when you let your guard down.

You could call it an extreme paranoia of sorts, and Leo's worst fear is that he jumps the gun and ends up unintentionally hurting someone he cares about.

They all need therapy for real XD

you propped up your phone, holding up a package that you guys were sent. “PAIGE MADISONNNNN” you yelled, knowing she was just down the hall. you could hear her pause the tv, and slowly make her way into the kitchen. she stands beside you, wrapping her arms around your waist. “whatchu got, ma?” you smile, looking up at her. “wanna unbox these custom shoes with me?” she nods, and you pretend to restart the video.

“okay guys, so i was sent some custom shoes from this really sweet small business. and of course they are wings themed so i have my current girlfriend, paige here to unbox them with me!” you smile, and begin opening the box. paige is nodding along behind you, halfway tuned in to the conversation. you’re still rambling on about the shoes to the video, not realizing how paige is looking at you. “did you call me your current girlfriend?” paige furrows her eyebrows, unwrapping her arms from around you and putting them on her hips. you laugh, looking at her like she’s crazy. “yeah? anyways guys, so here we have paige’s initials with her number. i just love the way she let me completely pick everything about this shoe, which makes it 10 times more special.” you continue speaking, trying not to laugh at the way she was looking at you.

“saying current like there’s gonna be more after is crazy.” she mumbles, rolling her eyes and walking away. you drop the shoes, laughing as you run after her. “no- baby i’m sorry. it was just a prank.” you wrap your arms around her neck, showering her face with kisses. “mmm, sounds about right.”

Concept!

Thinking about an isekai Omegaverse trope with the batfamily.

You end up in this god forsaken world by accident, but it’s not like you can do anything about it now.

So why is everything so strange? You expected coming to another world to be different but not this different to the point that it racks your brain on the sanity of the people here. Luckily you met this nice man in your world history class, and he was able to help soothe your worries, but then it dawned upon you.

All the weird terms and the weird behaviors shown throughout your university, you’re in an Omegaverse world, wow the universe does just have it out for you doesn’t it? To be cursed upon living this trope, at least you aren’t an omega well you don’t think you are, but if you were you would be able to tell very quickly, maybe that’s why this sudden relization hit you, because you were lucky enough to be a beta out of all things. Well you guess you’re lucky enough to not be bombarded by admires or cocky alphas, but still you can’t help but feel like you’re being watched, and maybe it’s you’re parinoa speaking but you can’t help but feel like you’re every move is analyzed and it creeps you out till no end especially since you’re classmate’s family has made their presence more prominit in you’re life, and they just had to be Wayne’s on top off that.

Oh my god the chaos that would cause because Floyd probably doesn't know that Dellie and Jamil bonded over BIRDS.

Floyd probably thought omg yay Sea Snake will defend me fro- WHAT DO YOU MEAN SEA SNAKE AND DEL ARE FRIENDS? (<- never outright called eachother friends but it's implied at this point)

Doesn't help that this is the one time where Dellie full on ignores or forgets that Floyd is even in the room because his focus would be fully on Jamil, like oh hey! Fellow bird enjoyer let me tell you about the birds I'm taking care of!! And that'd piss Floyd off more like that's MY Sea Snake you're happily chatting to, you CUNT.

The school project probably took AGES to finish because everytime Jamil tried to ask Dellie something or tried to do anything near him, Floyd would just yank Jamil back by the arm and probably hiss at Dellie for looking at their direction (happened so much that Jamil just told Floyd to stop or else they won't get anything done, and had to apologise to Dellie like 50 times for Floyd's behaviour)

The one time Dellie BARELY acknowledged Floyd, is when Floyd was the most upset because Dellie was moving his attention to Jamil, even though he actually had no ill intention. Dellie didn't even know Floyd and Jamil had a thing going on, all he knew is someone who he knew liked birds just like him was here and he wanted to talk to him about them LMAOO

you hold up a couple of products that you got from sephora, moving the empty bag. “okay- next we went to free people. oh here it is, oliv- shit. paige!” you yell picking up her practice jersey that was hidden under your bags. looking at the camera, you try and hold back a laugh knowing she was stomping down the hall. “what did you say?” she leans on the doorframe, narrowing her eyes down at you. “i said paige, i found your practice jersey. it was under my bags.” you roll your eyes, holding out the jersey to her. “mm, that’s not what i heard.” she yanks the jersey from you, crossing her arms. “okay, well i said paige. maybe it’s cause you got that music turned up loud.” you shrug your shoulders, turning back to continue the video.

“baby. don’t play with me right now. who the fuck is olivia?” paige walks over to you, grabbing your chin so you have to look at her. “i don’t even know an olivia!” you try and defend yourself, while also holding back a laugh. she rolled her eyes, dropping your chin and storming out of your room. “paige- paige. baby, it was just a prank.” you giggle, running after her. she narrows her eyes at you, flipping off the camera. “mmm, we will discuss this later.” she kisses you harshly, before walking out of your apartment for practice.
