Not a hot take but something a TON of people seem to forget; ALTER AGE is NOT as important as BODY AGE.

If an alter is 16 and dating a 20 year old alter, it DOESNT MATTER as long as body ages are close.

If ALTER AGES are close but BODY AGE is not, that is a red flag and you need to leave immediately.

Coming from someone who hasn't asked someone about their age before their alters were dating, body age is MORE important than alter age imo no matter WHAT people think.

Yup-yup! Alter age barely means anything and should not be considered on the same level as body age, especially in dating, the brain is still about as mature as your own body age, that doesn't suddenly change with other alters.

I used to run a server that ended up turning into a syscord server by accident, simply because the members didn't like me and made me do things w the server that i didn't wanna do, and i have a fee tales from that one.

1 - There was this guy who would copy every alter they saw in the server. say a freddy fazbear was talking in the server they'd go "oh i have a freddy too" and make the pk bot RIGHT THERE IN THE SERVER, and then they'd do it again with the next introject they saw.

2 - Same guy, he came into my DMs being like "theres an evil version of me......" and so i showed my at-the-time partner sys and they were having NONE OF IT 😭

3 - Same guy, back when "D/As" were a thing he'd claim to be one and it would change every day 😭

4 - Same guy, he would copy everything about our at the time psys and some other person would claim "no hes not doing anything wrong" and it later turned into full blown cyber stalking and impersonation

5 - Same guy, they would constantly get faceclaims that matched our hosts type to lure them into dating him again and would break up w them less than a week later

6 - He sent a long confession when our host got with someone from our ex partner sys that went exactly like this

"They're basically blinded by their love for him, Because # loves him so much they refuse to acknowledge how badly he's treating me. # dont yoy fucking realize how toxic he iz. He's Manipulating you. You juzt love him to much to realize it.. I'm zo zorry. You'll probably hate me after thiz."

so, to be brief as possible, we are looking for roleplay partners who might be able to write this plot with us. we tried to work this plot out with only us two, but we realised it would be much better if we wrote with more people. they might sound a bit vague, however, we have already our characters, lots of ideas and proposals for characters and quests. plot changes can be discussed as well.

the premise is: “in 1902, a peculiar group begins their career in the Investigation Division of the New York Police, a department focussed in solving, through their scientific and intuitive knowledge, the crimes that appear in the city’s most important newspapers. The coexistence between such unique professionals is capable of creating and strengthening the bonds that will bring justice to the people of New York, but largely, of giving these people with different experiences a unique concept of ‘family’, while exploring the depths, the unknown and the morbid secrets of their reality”

character suggestions that would be interesting to bring into this setting: a journalist, a mentalist, policemen, the legist, mortuary assistants, various detectives with different aims… there’s a whole world to be explored, and we are here to help as well.

now, onto bureaucracies: we are both advanced lit/novella, but don’t mind lazy lit or medium lit. we are looking for people who can do the world/character/plot with us, while doing headcanons, boards and playlists as well. we are both university students, so we can get a bit busy, but we can deliver at least one or two replies a week. dead 🕊️ themes are fine overall, but please ask first, because we each have our triggers (we want this to be a safe space, above all). one of us is not too comfortable with writing smut, only if needed. we want to focus on the story, so plot to smut ratio must be 85 (plot) 15 (smut). fcs will be used but not needed. we are hosting this roleplay in discord, and we will be using tupperbox. lastly, english is not our first language, bonus points if you speak portuguese. like this post, and we’ll reach out! 🤍 🤎
