Somehow I’ve used my little bird self care app for 100 days in a row and I think it has genuinely helped my brain and sense of like feeling productive even when I feel like I haven’t done shit all day so I cannot recommend Finch enough it’s like having a tamagotchi that celebrates you like taking the trash out or using warm colors on your phone at night or folding laundry, but also lets you dress it up and have even a smaller guy explore different countries with it

If you accidentally click the ad in any way it should not be able to just decide to install the app to your phone

there needs to be so much more legislation when it comes to advertising, especially mobile adverts which are 99% lies and often predatory.

I still think the most devastating enshittification I've ever seen has been picrew. One of the few dress-up game websites left that's not flash-based and it's become DRENCHED in ads. You can't open the home screen without being blasted by at least three or four ads. You can't open two picrews in a row without watching a video ad first. When you have a picrew open the ads cover up the different options and sometimes even stack on each other so you have to hit like 2 or 3 different x buttons to get it to go away, only for more to appear seconds later.
