Some rambling about myself and my identity undercut if you're interested lmao

So this year I found out I’m both bisexual and non-binary, gotta admit that wasn’t in my 2024 bingo list but sure!!!

Okay but for real, it’s weird to realise these things about myself. For years I struggled with my sexuality thinking I wasn’t “bisexual enough” since I tend to be more into guys, but recently realising in reality it was me suppressing my feelings towards women has put a lot of things in my life into perspective. Simply, I was in denial. 

I wish I could say I was simply in denial about my gender too, but unfortunately, that goes much deeper. In simple words, I have dealt with internalised transphobia since I was 13 to 15, I used to carry very harmful beliefs about both binary trans people and non-binary folk. 

Looking back on my life, the signs were there. I always had the feeling that the role of a “girl” didn’t fit me, and the mere idea of growing into a “woman” terrified me. When I found out about non-binary, a part of me connected with it, but my internalised transphobia rejected it and I forced myself into being a “girl. 

I can now say I have grown out of that hate, I’m still working on unlearning my biases and being as accepting as possible, and I’m proud to say I’m far better than how I was 2 years ago. Not everyone in my life knows about my identity, but I'm grateful to those who have been very accepting and supportive. The idea of coming out to my family sounds scary, but I know they love me and want the best for me, I’m certain they’ll be confused once I tell them but I’ll be prepared to help them understand, to understand me.

Emet: How can you be so entranced by apples?

•Groovification: Honestly…I’m much more entertained than distressed, it’s not like it’s my first time being summoned into an unfamiliar place.

•Set Home Screen: The breeze is so nice.

•Home Idle 1: I like my long hair, but man, it is not helping me manage this heat. The back of my neck feels like a waterfall! I imagine being furry like you isn’t any more pleasant. 

•Home Idle 2: I actually haven’t been to the beach before, I simply didn’t have the time for it…well, that’s what I was always told at least. 

•Home Idle 3: All these different shells are just beautiful, don’t you think? We should collect some to bring back, we could decorate our room in Ramshackle with them. 

•Home, after login: I wonder why we are the ones who got the matching shirts. I guess even this random magic knows we come as one package deal. 

•Home Idle Groovification: Being around the campfire with everyone, singing, dancing, eating, drinking…I haven’t felt like this before…It’s a nice feeling, don’t you think? 

•Home Tap 1: Surfing was so cool, and Floyd’s pointers were really useful!  It's a bit funny since he’s never done it before too, but that’s Flody for you, always the fast learner if he’s in the right mood. 

•Home Tap 2: Stitch is such an adorable little bastard, smart too, and he’s practically glued on me. Hey, what’s that look for? Come on, no need to get jealous. 

•Home Tap 3: Jovie has been trying to slack off during our whole time here…until Floyd unpromptedly dumps work on her, of course. And despite her whining, they still complete the tasks effectively.

•Home Tap 4: It’s so funny seeing Azul and Riddle try to dance, their moves are so stiff it physically hurts me. *chuckles* I guess I should be nice and show them a few moves. 

•Home Tap 5: *groans* Stupid Ace, throwing me into the water like that while I was asleep, the saltwater even went inside my nose! Mark my words, I will get back at him.

•Home Tap Groovification: *laughs* Oh, I’m having so much fun here, I can’t remember the last time I laughed this much! I hope we won’t need to say goodbye forever to this place, I’d love to come back here with the others again.

IT'S BEACH TIME WHOAHOOO!!! This was surprisingly quick to make, yeah I kept the shading and design very simple but still, I generally draw really slowly. Oh well, whatever! Here's Jess in tropical wear!
