inari as a two and Mochi as a mew?

I’ve already discussed this AU a little, but I wanted to add more!

Inari is incredibly protective of their children. Anything deemed a threat will be dealt with via hostile force if they don’t back off.

While Mochi was born naturally to Inari during their experimentation, Pocky was cloned in a separate lab. For the sake of a proper swap, we’ll say Pocky was created as a Mew as well.

Inari is a lot less forgiving and outwardly kind here. They’ve still got a bleeding heart, and still want to help others, but they’re become jaded by the horrid mutations forced upon their body. They’re quicker to anger, slow to forgive, and far less likely to show mercy.

Inari doesn’t speak aloud often, generally using telepathy. Their voice changed when they became a Mewtwo, and they hate it. Their mental voice still sounds like they used to as a Mew, and they cling to that.

Mochi, on the other hand is 100% more playful and energetic. He’s constantly getting into trouble because he got curious, often resulting in Inari having to scare off anyone that would tale advantage of their baby.

Shadowgast mer AU but this time it’s Mer!Essek

Oh man this one is actually pretty difficult for me! Hmmmm. I'm struggling with plot so you're going to get Vibes 😂

Having done the Lone Merman thing in Mercaleb, I sort of like the idea of submerging the whole Dynasty and making the Drow a mer-people. Or maybe a selkie-type people, so there can be land shenanigans. Essek still plays taxi for the M9, Keyleth tree-walk style, except he can do it with bodies of water. At some point there are shenanigans with what body of water is large enough, and a bathtub, and a lot of people in a small space. If there's a selkie component, there's gotta be drama around Essek's coat. I wouldn't give it to the Assembly, as this would remove Essek's agency as a traitor, but perhaps he gives it to the M9 for a period of time as part of his desperate bid for a second chance with their trust.

18. Is there any theme or motif in this au that isn't in the original work? The question of "Can a Kaiju be anything more than a killing machine?" is never raised in Pacific Rim, the Kaiju are just big monsters to be overcome through the power of love. There's nothing wrong with that, I actually love the way the Kaiju in Pacific Rim are this overwhelming, inhuman force of destruction. But I'm also writing a story where the premise is "What if the overwhelming inhuman force of destruction imprinted on you like a baby duck? And you had to take care of it and teach it to not eat people?"

Ooo an interesting one!

-Kuro will still be taller than Shiro, but now more so than him, but Shiro is quicker/more agile while Kuro is more powerful

-they’re still not as strong as their adoptive father, Akira, but they’re stronger than they are as Sneasel

-Shiro keeps the coloring of his fur as a Sneasel, but this can help him in snowy conditions

-Kuro can now climb up and reach things that Shiro cannot

-while they may be stronger as a weavile and sneasler, they still choose to hunt and work together as they have always done it that way and will continue to do so

(the jason one is in reference to the fanon headcanon/au that Jason and Damian potentially knew each other and interacted while jason was in the league. I've thought about it before in context of this au, but haven't thought about it enough to feel inspired or motivated to make a post exploring the idea)

(diablito means, as you can guess, 'little devil'. while i'm neutral to latino jason, i think the nickname is cute as fuck and was danny's main nickname from Jason. i don't wanna touch that timeline so im not gonna decide how old they were when Jason was there.)

A evil Au where Inari is the leader of team rocket?

In this universe, Giovanni is visiting the lab the day Inari breaks out. He attempts to battle her, only to be absolutely decimated by the one-mon army that is Inari. She kills him in front of the scientists and grunts, no hesitation.

In an attempt to stop her from murdering the entire lot of them, they try and appease her in any way they can. Begging doesn’t work, and bribes won’t stop her either. Then one grunt has the bright idea to proclaim Inari the new boss, since she killed the previous one. It at least causes her to pause in her rampage as the grunt asks for orders.

Inari, cautious but curious, orders them to release her son from his tube. One of the surviving scientists orders the grunt to stand down, and Inari grabs the offending man by the throat in a psychic chokehold. The grunt is smart enough to keep moving and lets Mochi out of his holding tube. Inari releases the scientist at the same time and rushes to her son.

The precedent is set. The surviving Team Rocket members know better than to cross Inari again. And so, Inari gives them further orders. As their new leader, she shuts down the entire cloning operation. And has them spread the word that Team Rocket is under new management. And anyone who dissents is to be brought to her.

Team Rocket becomes split. Those too cowardly to run or of a kinder disposition remained with Inari, who ushered in a new age of a Team Rocket meant to help people and Pokémon. The split faction, now calling themselves Neo Team Rocket, made it their mission to stop Inari at any cost.

Who can the smoking, drinking, slouching-but-hard-hitting private eye detective be but our Beauregard Lionett? She's hot on the trail of The Angel Of Irons, a mysterious organization that's been disappearing people. After a long day she finds her way to a bar where soft-spoken bartender-and-bouncer (and sometimes illegal cage fighter) Yasha Nydoorin pours her a drink on the house at least once per visit. It's love, or something. She's putting together more evidence with the help of her journalist friend-and-disappointed-mentor, Dairon, when suddenly Yasha goes missing too. Has the Angel of Irons struck again? It seems so, except when Beau starts digging into Yasha's past, it seems it might not be as simple as a kidnapping... the or something Beau has been feeling hurts a hell of a lot when when she realizes Yasha has been an Angel herself, but it could also mean Beau has an in to take the whole operation down...

"You can't smoke in here." Beau isn't going to get a smoke in anyway, because her fucking lighter isn't working. "Ah, fuckin-- you got a light?" "No." There's a clink of glass, then two fingers of whiskey, neat, just like always, slid across the bar. God, looking into those gorgeous mismatched eyes is a bit like doing drugs. Good drugs. It's also magic, apparently, because the lighter finally does its fucking job and Beau takes a sweet inhale. She tilts her head back to breathe the smoke away. Then, because she's not rude, she turns her wrist and offers cig to Yasha. "I'm working," Yasha says in that soft, quiet way that makes people underestimate her. (But not Beau - never Beau.) Then easy as anything, she leans on her elbow over the counter and takes a drag from the cigarette Beau's still holding. The paint on her bottom lip leaves a tiny blue smudge. Keeping eye contact, she sighs, blowing the smoke directly in Beaus face. "And I said no smoking." Christ on a stick. Beau is probably going to have to walk from here straight to the emergency room. Or into heaven. Yasha Nydoorin is going to be the death of her.
