A strange new religious organization has started to show up in Gotham City, and some of the Bats are concerned.

It might be just paranoia. No crimes have been tied back to the group, nor has there been an uptick in crime that might potentially lead back to them. By all accounts, they seem like a relatively normal group gaining traction among the city’s disenfranchised.

But even if some of the vigilantes think it’s not anything worth worrying about it, some of the others are suspicious of it. And so, they’re going to get to the bottom of things.

The plot:

Whumpee who needs a surgery but they have Trauma about being knocked out and things Done to them.

Do they get the surgery while paralyzed and numb, but awake? Is caretaker there to still walk them through what's happening to them?

Do they agree to go under full anesthesia but only if caretaker is there both when they go under and wake up, and very specific instructions about how they want to be treated during the process?

"Fine, just, can you be there when I'm waking up? And please don't judge me if I react poorly to you, I- I don't always know where I am when I'm coming out of it."

"Let me hold the gas to my own face. Don't touch me until I'm out. Make sure I'm dressed the same by the time I'm coming up. Do what you have to do while I'm out, I don't want to hear details about it unless I ask, just get it done."

Here's my guess for dungeon groups:

Time, Twilight and Wind (because Time is NOT going to let Twi out of his sight, also if you look at the second-last panel in the update, it seems like he's looking at them specifically)

Warriors, Hyrule, and Legend (I think it makes sense for them to be together, even if Legend drives Warriors nuts. I could see him being like "here pretty boy I'll teach you all you need to know about dungeons" and go from there. Hyrule is there because I bet he'd want to go with Legend, and he also seems to look up to Warriors)

That leaves Four, Sky, and Wild, which I didn't think about much, but would certainly be an interesting group. Four and Wild working together would be nice, especially with Wild's new sword, and I wonder if Four would maybe end up using the Master Sword... maybe. It's just a guess.

And to cut right to Marshall's hands clasped together, like the symbolism of the bond those two share...I can't not read into it. There has to be something more than platonic between Copano and Harrington THE GLANCES

My villain origin story is that they're taking Star Trek Beyond off Canadian Netflix today (March 25, 2025) and so I'm watching it one last time and in the middle of McCoy shouting "DAMMIT SPOCK" and rushing to cradle a collapsing Spock's head they CUT TO COMMERCIAL significantly before the shot ended

I love the fact that the Silvermane Guards are essentially just a very devoted "We Love Gepard Landau" fanclub, and I desperately need for all of them to get into ship wars about it behind their Captain's back. The soldiers are all split into several factions:

Some of them ship him with Sampo 🛡💣 (enemies to lovers/hateship enjoyers; this does not necessarily mean they like Sampo- in fact it's more like most of them want to sic their Captain on him skzjsmdm)

Some of them ship him with Bronya 👑🛡 (knight and princess trope enjoyers and also a sorta-kinda "that is our mom and dad" type of deal; this faction gets riled up and ridiculously hypes Gepard up to Bronya every time she comes down to the frontlines mskdkxmd)

Some of them ship him with the trailblazer 🛡💫 (the smallest and newest faction, but steadily gaining!)

Some of them ship him with Pela ❄🛡 (workplace romance enjoyers; Gepard once charged out into the Fragmentum alone to save Pela from an expedition gone horribly wrong, and when this faction saw Gepard carrying Pela back princess style they threw a whole party)

Some of them ship him with Dunn 🛡🗡 (also workplace romance; Dunn is very flattered by this because yeah wrong Landau, but wow, the troops really think he's good enough to woo the Captain, what an honor)

And some of them ship themselves with the Captain 🛡❤ (yumejoshi enjoyers; this faction throws a massive group effort every Valentine's Day and are also all very supportive of each other)

The final faction is an odd one, because they're defined not by who they ship their beloved Captain Gepard with, but rather by who they don't ship him with. Their name is generally shortened to the A.B.S. Group- Anybody BUT Sampo 🚫💣 DKSZJJSMSOZ

do y'all think Macaque is falling back into the role that Azure and the others put on him by remaining on the outskirts of the group because he thinks his input/presence is unwanted (and yeah his presence isn't really wanted by MK and the others BUT. something about the fact Macaque is placing himself at the edge of the group, the edge that Azure and the others pushed him to, doesn't really sit well)
