George Michael photographed by Herb Ritts for Interview magazine’s October 1988 issue.

In 2008, Michael revealed to the Los Angeles Times that his maternal grandmother was Jewish, but she married a non-Jewish man and raised her children with no knowledge of their heritage due to her fear during World War II.

Photographer Herb Ritts was also of Jewish descent.

Richard Gallo featured in Office Magazine Issue 07. Known for corporeal art, provocative performances in public spaces, avant- garde theater, and psychogeography.

Made this mini collage with old magazines (most of them rescued from the recycling bin in the art room). It's one of the lines from Tegan and Sara's "closer", and the tv part is inspired by their "closer" music video. Cutting out the letters individually was time consuming but I like how this turned out and I already have ideas for the next Tegan and Sara song inspired collage!

Streisand is a Jewish artist from NYC, and Ritts was a gay Jewish artist from LA.
