The Greatest Birthday Gift (for me) from my most Favorite Person on the planet! This is truly one of the smoothest, most eloquent writing experiences that a writing man/woman/person can experience. For me it was a deep yearning - not for the pen itself but the magic, the symbolism, the courage to put pen on paper day after day and to truly let the ruminations, the word haze clear into beautifully and sometimes haphazardly but never, coarsely, defined strokes forming words that become the sails to voyages into the past selves of me.
It may seem overtly selfish and narcissistic, but to truly recognize who I am and then to let it go is a gratifying meditation.
Not easy, not too difficult and one doesn't need a precise fine writing instrument to do it but then holding and writing with such fine crafted and engineered ink impressionists is what makes being a writer, worth every bit of the madness.

scribbler practice. 😊Those long hours of practice, refining and refining, then the joy of fist signing my name. Now cursive writing is viewed by schools as a big waste of time. Now I feel like the purveyor and keeper of a lost art😊

Everytime I write in cursive I feel like a 18th century woman writing to her husband who left for war
Dear Husband, it has been 12 years since I’ve heard your voice. Please send money for chicken nuggies.
Anyone else, or is it just me?

M?? alort pre-occupied K. faltered to the Earth.
K. open to all arguments, not with-hold. But laughing au ??? reduced by K. to ??? ???
The neck of K. can never by …. not in any measure???.

Would K. like to ??? ???"
And that's all I can recognize. Thanks for your help!

I've noticed that some people's cursive handwriting is very different from mine. And not in a "everybody's handwriting is unique" way, in a "this person was taught to write this letter in a completely different way" way. So, here's how I was taught cursive since the first grade (edit: Czech Republic, 2014 and later), and I'd appreciate it if you could reblog this and add your version of cursive! Thank you!
